Abstract

This study examines the effects of principal academic supervision, teacher self-efficacy, and organizational culture on teacher performance in private vocational schools in South Tangerang, Indonesia. Using a quantitative associative design, 118 teachers were sampled from 11 schools. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and path analysis. Results show that academic supervision has the strongest direct effect on teacher performance (β = 0.801, p < 0.05), followed by organizational culture (β = 0.615, p < 0.05) and self-efficacy (β = 0.438, p < 0.05). Academic supervision and self-efficacy also positively influence organizational culture (β = 0.305 and 0.174, p < 0.05). However, indirect effects through organizational culture (0.188 and 0.107) are smaller than direct effects, indicating that organizational culture acts more as a supportive factor than a mediator. The study highlights the importance of strengthening supervision and self-efficacy while fostering a positive organizational culture to enhance teacher performance. The findings provide practical guidance for school leaders and policymakers to improve professional development and school effectiveness.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the growth of Islamic banking in Indonesia continues to show a significant increase. This research aims to analyze the compliance of the implementation of takeover financing contracts for the iB SiAga Pensiun product at Bank KB Bukopin Syariah KPO Salemba Jakarta with the fatwas of the National Sharia Board - Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI). Using a descriptive qualitative method with field study and literature review approaches, the research finds that the implementation of the Murabahah bil Wakalah contract used does not substantially meet sharia principles. This contract deviates from the pillars of Murabahah due to the absence of a real commodity object (mabi'), potentially leading to gharar and usury (riba), and is not aligned with the specific schemes formulated by DSN-MUI in Fatwa No. 31/2002 and No. 90/2013. The study recommends product reconstruction by replacing the contract with a hybrid scheme (a combination of Qardh, Sale and Purchase, and Murabahah) for takeovers from Conventional Financial Institutions (LKK) and the Hiwalah bi al-Ujrah scheme for takeovers from other Islamic Financial Institutions (LKS). This should be accompanied by a comprehensive revision of internal guidelines and the strengthening of sharia audits to ensure substantive compliance.

Abstract

Islam maintains the concept of balance so that wealth is widely distributed and not monopolized by some groups. However, the problem is that many do not understand how Islam views ownership. Ownership in Islam is a person's bond with property rights legalized by Sharia. Ownership is divided into three types, the first is individual ownership, the second is public ownership, and the third is state ownership. This study aims to find out how the concept of public ownership in the perspective of Islamic economics. Forms of public ownership and management of public ownership. The method used by the author in this study is library research based on the formulation of the problem supported by data and data sources from the literature review. Based on the results of research on the concept of public ownership in Islamic economics. Public ownership is a sharia permit for the community to jointly utilize a wealth in the form of goods that are necessary for humans in their daily life which are divided into three groups, namely as public facilities, unlimited mining goods and natural resources whose nature of formation prevents them from being owned only by individuals as individuals. Common property management rights (milkiyah amah) exist in society in general, which is implemented by the state because the state is the representative of the people. The state must manage public property in a professional and efficient manner. Although the State has the right to administer public property, it may not grant that right to specific individuals. Public ownership must provide maximum benefits to the wider community.

Abstract

Educator performance is a key determinant of educational quality in special needs schools, where teaching demands are characterized by high emotional labor, complex instructional responsibilities, and intensive student support. However, empirical studies that examine educator performance through an integrated organizational and psychological perspective particularly focusing on work discipline, work stress, and job satisfaction remain limited in the context of private special needs institutions. This study aimed to analyze the effects of work discipline, work stress, and job satisfaction on educator performance at Talenta Center Special Needs Schools. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 134 educators selected as respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that work discipline and job satisfaction had positive and significant effects on educator performance, while work stress had a negative and significant effect. These findings indicate that educator performance in special needs schools is shaped by the interaction of organizational discipline, psychological well-being, and work-related pressures. The study highlights the importance of strengthening work discipline, implementing effective stress management strategies, and fostering job satisfaction to enhance educator performance and support the delivery of high-quality special education services.

Abstract

Abstract: The urgency of implementing the Community Service Program (PKM) arises from the fact that fishermen have traditionally engaged in fishing partnerships based on verbal agreements regarding capital provision and profit sharing. These oral agreements often lead to disputes due to disagreements over the amount of catch and how profits are divided after the fishing trips. When conflicts arise, they are difficult to resolve because one party may deny having made any promises at the start of the activity. The objective of this PKM is to establish a legally and socially independent fishing community capable of drafting formal contracts for fisheries cooperation. The implementation method involves identifying the target group – in this case, fishermen – followed by inventorying field problems, designing programs, and conducting training and mentoring sessions. The outcomes of this activity include increased community understanding of contract drafting and dispute resolution through traditional maritime (adat laot) courts under the Panglima Laot institution, as well as through general courts. Of the 20 fishermen involved, 18 (or 90%) stated that contract drafting for profit-sharing in the fisheries sector is crucial as a legal foundation for civil law evidence and dispute resolution.
