Abstract

This study examined the relationship between self-efficacy, resilience, meaning in life, and anxiety during crisis situations like the COVID-19 pandemic. Self-efficacy is considered an important psychological resource that supports individuals in coping with stressful and uncertain situations. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from participants through standardized psychological scales measuring self-efficacy, resilience, meaning in life, and anxiety. Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to test the relationships among variables. The results indicated that self-efficacy was positively and significantly correlated with resilience and meaning in life, suggesting that individuals with higher confidence in their abilities tend to show stronger adaptive capacity and a greater sense of life meaning. In contrast, the relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety was negative but not statistically significant. Aspect-level analysis showed that the magnitude, strength, and generality dimensions of self-efficacy were consistently related positively to resilience and meaning in life. These findings highlight the protective role of self-efficacy in psychological functioning during crisis situations. The study contributes to the development of psychological intervention strategies by emphasizing the importance of strengthening self-efficacy and resilience to support mental health outcomes. Future research is recommended to apply longitudinal designs and include mediating variables to better explain these relationships

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools faces persistent challenges including low reading interest, writing difficulties, and monotonous conventional methods, necessitating innovative pedagogical interventions. This systematic literature review examines trends, contributions, and research gaps in problem-based learning (PBL)-based interactive media development for elementary Indonesian language learning during 2020-2025. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, four academic databases (Google Scholar, SINTA, Semantic Scholar, ERIC) were systematically searched, yielding 200 initial articles. Through rigorous four-stage screening applying PICOS framework criteria, 30 articles from nationally accredited (SINTA 1-3) and international (Scopus/ERIC-indexed) journals were selected for thematic content analysis.  Analysis revealed progressive evolution from simple digital tools (Wordwall, Kahoot) toward sophisticated multimodal environments (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality). Ninety percent of studies reported significant improvements in literacy competencies, particularly writing skills (40%) and reading comprehension (30%). ADDIE and 4D development models predominated (66.7%), demonstrating superior methodological rigor. Three distinct research clusters emerged: basic literacy development (2020-2021), critical and digital literacy (2022-2023), and creativity with technological adaptation (2024-2025).  PBL-based interactive media integration effectively operationalizes constructivist learning principles, substantially enhancing student engagement and 21st-century literacy competencies. However, persistent infrastructure limitations, inadequate teacher TPACK competencies, and underrepresentation of speaking skill development constrain optimal implementation, requiring comprehensive policy support and sustained professional development interventions.

Abstract

Lung diseases remain a major global health concern, necessitating accurate and timely diagnosis. Chest X-ray (CXR) imaging is widely used but challenging to interpret due to overlapping radiographic features and subjective variability among radiologists. Deep learning approaches, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), have shown promise but are limited in capturing global spatial dependencies. Vision Transformers (ViTs) overcome this limitation through self-attention, making them increasingly attractive for medical image analysis. This study systematically evaluates 13 Transformer-based architectures across three CXR datasets with distinct tasks: Pneumonia (3-class: Normal, Bacterial, Viral), COVID-QU-Ex (3-class: Normal, Non-COVID Pneumonia, COVID-19), and Tuberculosis (2-class: Normal, Tuberculosis). All models were trained under a unified setup with consistent preprocessing, augmentation, and evaluation protocols. To improve robustness, a soft voting ensemble of the top five models was also implemented. Results demonstrate that Transformer-based models provide highly competitive performance. On the Pneumonia dataset, the ensemble achieved an accuracy of 0.8743 and F1-score of 0.8615, surpassing several single models such as DeiT-Base (F1 = 0.8725). On COVID-QU-Ex, the ensemble soft voting obtained 0.9593 accuracy and 0.9582 F1-score, effectively balancing precision and recall. On Tuberculosis, ViT-B/16 and MobileViT-S achieved perfect performance (F1 = 1.0), likely influenced by dataset imbalance. These findings highlight the clinical potential of Transformer-based models, particularly when combined through ensembles, for robust and accurate CXR classification.

Abstract

Low selling prices of fresh milk and the rejection of substandard milk by the Milk Processing Industry have reduced the income of dairy groups in Gunungpati, Semarang, and caused environmental problems due to milk disposal. This community service program aimed to increase the economic value of fresh milk through diversification into yogurt products. The program involved entrepreneurship motivation, assembly of a milk pasteurization unit, provision of a yogurt incubator, and hands-on yogurt production training for 20 members of a dairy processing group. The activity emphasized appropriate technology application and skill development to enable independent household-scale production. Results showed improved technical competence in yogurt processing, increased entrepreneurial motivation, and initial product trials for market testing. Fresh milk diversification into yogurt provides an alternative strategy to enhance income, reduce environmental waste, and strengthen community-based dairy business sustainability.

Abstract

Febrile seizures are one of the most common neurological disorders in children. The combination of videos and booklets as health education media can accommodate various learning styles and improve parental knowledge retention. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational media in the form of videos and booklets in improving parental skills related to first aid for febrile seizures in children. This pre-experimental study with a single-group pre-test/post-test design was conducted in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, from August 2025 to January 2026. Sixty-two parents of children aged 6 months to 5 years with a history or risk of febrile seizures were recruited using purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of a combination of educational videos and booklets containing comprehensive information on first aid for febrile seizures. Skills were assessed using a standardized observation sheet and categorized as poor, adequate, or good. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The pre-test results showed that no respondents (0%) had good skills, 61.3% had adequate skills, and 38.7% had poor skills. The post-test results showed significant improvement: 88.7% achieved good skills, 11.3% achieved sufficient skills, and 0% achieved poor skills. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between pre-test (mean=1.61) and post-test (mean=2.89) scores (z=6.886, p=0.000). In conclusion, the combination of video and booklet was proven effective in improving first aid skills for febrile seizures.

Abstract

In Indonesia's dynamic digital economy, customer reviews on marketplace platforms like TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Tokopedia are strategic assets for understanding consumer loyalty and online shopping interest. However, extracting information from thousands of informal reviews presents a significant challenge for rapid business decision-making. This study aims to implement an automated sentiment analysis system by comparing three major machine learning algorithms: Logistic Regression (LR), Naive Bayes (NB), and K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), utilizing the sentiment strength feature of the Indonesian SentiStrength method. The research dataset consists of 881 reviews collected through crawling techniques and subjected to text preprocessing stages including case folding, cleaning, tokenization, stemming, and stop word removal. Automatic labeling using SentiStrength resulted in a sentiment distribution consisting of Neutral (41.9%), Positive (40.2%), and Negative (17.9%). The data was then divided into training and test data to evaluate the performance of the three algorithms.  Experimental results show that all three models performed very reliably in classifying customer opinions. Based on an evaluation using the Classification Report, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) provided the most optimal results with an accuracy rate of 99%, followed by Naive Bayes with 96% accuracy, and Logistic Regression with 94%. The high performance of these three models demonstrates that using SentiStrength sentiment scores as input features is highly effective in minimizing language ambiguity. Managerially, this research contributes to digital business practitioners' ability to monitor public perception in real-time to formulate more responsive marketing strategies and maintain customer retention in the marketplace ecosystem
