Abstract

The research aims to find out what factors influence the impulsive buying behavior of e-commerce Shopee users where a survey was conducted on 120 people in Jabodetabek using a quantitative method of distributing questionnaires online. This research uses data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and literature study. This research uses analytical techniques with descriptive analysis and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The results of this research found that the highest factor regarding impulsive buying is the brand. It is hoped that this study can be used as consideration for consumers so that they do not become impulsive buyers in e-commerce and as material for decision making regarding triggers that do not become a necessity when there is an e-commerce program.

Abstract

Advances in technology and internet access have made people more likely to make online purchases. This is also what drives the popularity of online shopping applications such as Shopee to increase the likelihood of users making purchases on an ongoing basis. In this situation, Shopee has the challenge of maintaining increased user sustainability by addressing several factors that are thought to have an impact on the sustainability of using the Shopee application. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of Shopee application users, to analyze the behavior of Shopee application users, and to analyze what factors can shape the intention of continuous use in Shopee application users. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method. this research was analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. In this study, descriptive analysis includes respondent profiles and data. In addition, in analyzing the data, this study uses the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) analysis method approach using SPSS 30 software. The results of the study found that one main factor was formed that influenced the intention to continue using the Shopee application users in Jabodetabek. This factor is the intention to continue using the Shopee application. This factor reflects the dimensions of satisfaction, benefits, convenience, trust, and service performance perceived by users. This single factor is explained by an eigenvalue of 10.047 which explains 66.978% of the total variance which then influences their intention to continue using it.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of learning facilities (X1), learning motivation (X2) and classroom management (X3) on student learning outcomes (Y). This research uses quantitative techniques with descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out through filling out questionnaires. The subjects of the research were general students, totaling 151 respondents. In analyzing the results of this research, a tool was used in the form of Partial Least Square Software (SmartPLS 4.0). The research results show that: 1) Learning facilities have a positive effect on student learning outcomes; 2) Learning motivation has a positive effect on student learning outcomes; 3) Class management has a positive effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

To encourage the contribution of tourism to grow from time to time, it is necessary to have a driving factor for the success of tourism. The government also relies on the number of visits from domestic tourists in increasing tourism power so it is very important for the government to pay more attention to domestic tourists. This study explores the factors influencing tourist satisfaction in local food culinary tourism sector, identifying key drivers and challenging existing assumptions. There were 242 tourists participated freely to fill online questionnaire in the study. The research highlights the importance of Perceived Quality (PQ), Costs and Risks (CR), and Gastronomy Tourist Market Assessment (GTME) as primary determinants of satisfaction. PQ emphasizes the significance of service quality and authenticity, while GTME underscores the role of market positioning in enhancing the tourist experience. Unexpectedly, CR was found to positively influence satisfaction, suggesting that moderate costs and perceived risks may enhance the appeal of culinary tourism. In contrast, Local Food Satisfaction (LFD), Destination Image (DI), Perceived Value (PV), and Tourist Expectations (TE) exhibited statistical significance but had a less pronounced practical impact on overall satisfaction. These findings contribute to the tourism satisfaction theory by emphasizing the need for context-specific models and offering actionable insights for tourism stakeholders. The study suggests that improving service quality, strategic market positioning, and finding a balance between affordability and perceived adventure can enhance the culinary tourism experience. This study introduces a novel application of tourism satisfaction theory by demonstrating the importance of contextualizing satisfaction models specifically for culinary tourism—an area often overlooked in broader tourism satisfaction research.

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of social media advertisements on consumer purchasing intentions within Malaysia's cosmetics and personal care sector, highlighting the significance of interactivity, informativeness, and trust. Considering the growing prevalence of social media in marketing, comprehending how these elements affect consumer choices is crucial for enhancing digital advertising strategies.  This research utilises a quantitative approach to evaluate consumer behaviour. Data were gathered from 384 Malaysian consumers aged 18 and older who actively interact with cosmetic and personal care brands on social media using online survey. The research employed descriptive analysis, reliability and validity assessments, and hypothesis testing to investigate the relationships among principal variables.  Research demonstrates that informativeness and trust in social media advertisements substantially increase purchase intentions, with trust acting as a vital mediator. Although interactivity enhances trust, it does not directly affect purchase intention, indicating that its influence may be contingent upon contextual variables. These findings underscore the imperative for brands to deliver transparent, reliable, and informative content to enhance consumer trust and stimulate purchasing behaviour. The study's originality is rooted in its examination of the Malaysian cosmetics and personal care market, providing practical insights for marketers to enhance social media advertising strategies. The research underscores trust as a pivotal factor, offering essential insights for brands aiming to improve their digital engagement. This study enhances the existing literature on digital marketing in emerging markets, providing practical insights for businesses seeking to improve their social media efficacy in Malaysia.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of employee training at PT XYZ, particularly in enhancing work performance and motivation. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method using purposive sampling. Informants consist of one team leader and three staff members selected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the training provided remains one-way, lacks interactivity, and is not entirely relevant to employees’ daily tasks. This leads to low motivation and minimal effectiveness in improving performance. Several challenges were also identified, including the absence of post-training follow-up, monotonous delivery methods, and limited time due to workload constraints. The study suggests that organizations should improve their training systems by aligning materials with job relevance, adopting more engaging methods, and ensuring continuous support from management.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of compensation and the work environment on the performance of employees of PT X, for the collection of data required in research conducted directly in the PT X working environment. This research using descriptive research with quantitative approach, the method used in this research was the distribution of questionnaires given to 110 respondents, workers at PT X will have a positive influence on the performance of its employees, where if the value of the contribution from the provision of Compensation (X) and the Work Environment (Y) increases, so will the contribution value of Employee Performance (Y), and the ability of the independent variable (X) in explaining the dependent variable (Y) is 24.2%, with the remaining 75.8% explained by other variables not discussed in this study. So it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on compensation and improving the quality of the work environment applied by PT X on the performance of its employees

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee performance at PT X by highlighting three main aspects, namely the level of job satisfaction, factors that affect performance, and the role of feedback in improving productivity. In this study, a qualitative approach was applied through a case study method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation with four key informants, consisting of one head of HR and three non-HR employees. The results showed that the majority of employees were satisfied with their jobs, especially when the job was in line with their educational background, supported by a conducive work environment, and provided opportunities for self-development. Nevertheless, there are some obstacles that hinder the optimization of performance, such as the lack of clarity in the division of tasks in the newly formed unit, rewards that have not been well structured, and a feedback system that has not been running regularly and personally. Factors that influence performance include leadership effectiveness, teamwork, role clarity, reward system, adequate training, and availability of work facilities. Therefore, this study recommends the need to strengthen a more systematic and responsive performance management system, including the development of a sustainable reward system and the implementation of regular two-way feedback to encourage continuous improvement in employee motivation and performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi lingkungan kerja di instansi X serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan area parkir, ketiadaan jalur evakuasi darurat, hubungan sosial dengan pihak eksternal, serta gaya kepemimpinan yang berubah-ubah menjadi faktor utama yang menghambat kenyamanan dan produktivitas pegawai. Dampak dari kondisi tersebut meliputi menurunnya kenyamanan kerja, meningkatnya risiko keselamatan kerja, menurunnya semangat dan motivasi pegawai, serta berisiko menurunkan produktivitas dan efektivitas kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya perbaikan fasilitas fisik dan konsistensi dalam gaya kepemimpinan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman, nyaman, dan produktif. Rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi penyediaan jalur evakuasi darurat sesuai standar, perluasan area parkir, serta penyusunan pedoman kepemimpinan yang jelas guna membentuk gaya kepemimpinan yang lebih konsisten dan profesional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kinerja pegawai dan kepuasan kerja di Kantor Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja pegawai di KPPU tidak merata, di mana sebagian merasa puas karena dukungan lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan, sementara sebagian lainnya belum merasakan aspek-aspek pendukung kepuasan kerja secara optimal. Ketidakmerataan ini berdampak pada motivasi, produktivitas, dan loyalitas pegawai. KPPU perlu mengambil langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, di antaranya dengan memperbaiki sistem kompensasi, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, menerapkan sistem penghargaan dan sanksi yang adil, serta memperkuat komunikasi antara pegawai dan manajemen. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi masukan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia secara lebih efektif di lingkungan KPPU. Rekomendasi yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang lebih nyaman, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis, adanya komunikasi terbuka antara atasan dan pegawai, pemberian gaji yang adil, penambahan fasilitas tempat tinggal bagi pegawai luar daerah, dan perbaikan sistem absensi pegawai.
