Abstract

Perilaku merokok dan tindakan bullying merupakan dua permasalahan serius yang kerap muncul pada siswa sekolah dasar dan berpotensi mengganggu tumbuh kembang anak. Upaya pencegahan sejak dini sangat penting agar anak-anak mampu membangun karakter sehat dan peduli sesama. Program pengabdian masyarakat melalui Edukasi BERANI (Bimbingan Anti Rokok dan Anti Bullying) dilaksanakan di SDN Jajar 2, Kecamatan Wates, Kabupaten Kediri dengan peserta 24 siswa kelas VI. Kegiatan dilakukan pada 11–29 Agustus 2025 menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi melalui pretest dan posttest. Materi meliputi bahaya rokok, strategi menolak ajakan merokok, pemahaman tentang bullying, serta pembentukan sikap peduli dan empati. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebesar 22,1% dengan rerata jawaban benar meningkat dari 67,9% pada pretest menjadi 90% pada posttest. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi, serta perubahan sikap yang lebih kritis terhadap perilaku merokok dan bullying. Evaluasi akhir menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran, pemahaman, dan sikap positif siswa terhadap bahaya rokok dan perundungan. Dengan demikian, program Edukasi BERANI berkontribusi dalam membentuk lingkungan sekolah yang sehat, aman, dan ramah anak, serta mendukung Gerakan Sekolah Sehat melalui pembentukan generasi yang tangguh, sehat, dan berkarakter mulia.

Abstract

The low literacy and numeracy scores on the Education Report Card (Report Card) have prompted the urgency of precise financial governance. This study aims to analyze data-driven financing management strategies to improve priority indicators at SDN 5 Godong. Using a qualitative case study method, data was collected from eight informants (the Principal, Treasurer, Teachers, School Committee, and parents) through interviews, observations, and document review. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results indicate that integrating the ARKAS (School Budget Alignment) with the Education Report Card (Report Card) increased the efficiency of instructional allocation by 15%. The findings identified the "Triple-Check Data Alignment" model as key to success, but it was hampered by the high digital administrative burden on teachers. The establishment of an internal "Data Literacy Cluster" for longitudinal analysis and diversification of funding sources is recommended to ensure the sustainability of the school quality improvement program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role, implementation, and constraints of Ṭarīqah Intiqāiyah in learning Arabic for class VI MI PSM Walikukun. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The object or population in this study were 15 students of class VI MI PSM Walikukun. In this study, the primary data selected by the authors were interviews with Arabic teachers for grade VI MI PSM Walikukun and observations of the learning process. Secondary data sources in this study were lesson plans, grade transcripts and observations of the Arabic language learning process of class VI MI PSM Walikukun. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman approach. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Ṭarīqah Intiqāiyah in learning Arabic for class VI MI PSM Walikukun can be considered to be going well, because it is adapted to the abilities and needs of students and the capacity of the Arabic language teacher. Even though the combined steps and methods are not in accordance with the steps exemplified by Acep Hermawan, the use of the Ṭarīqah Intiqāiyah is considered well implemented because the Ṭarīqah Intiqāiyah itself is flexible.

Abstract

Banjir yang terjadi secara berulang di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang, khususnya di Desa Simpang Lhee, Kecamatan Manyak Payed, tidak hanya menimbulkan kerusakan infrastruktur, tetapi juga berdampak pada ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan masyarakat, terutama anak-anak. Kondisi pascabanjir sering menyebabkan menurunnya ketersediaan pangan, buruknya sanitasi, serta meningkatnya risiko penyakit infeksi yang dapat memperburuk status gizi balita. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mencegah penurunan status gizi anak pascabanjir melalui intervensi pemberian makanan bergizi serta edukasi gizi kepada orang tua. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan aksi partisipatif dengan melibatkan tim pengabdian, kader Posyandu, dan perangkat desa. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 28 Februari 2026 di Desa Simpang Lhee dengan sasaran anak-anak yang terdampak banjir. Intervensi dilakukan melalui penyusunan dan distribusi 100 paket bubur bergizi berbahan dasar beras lokal yang diperkaya dengan protein hewani dan sayuran, serta pemberian air minum kemasan. Selain itu, dilakukan edukasi singkat mengenai pola asuh gizi darurat dan pembagian leaflet panduan gizi kepada para ibu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian makanan bergizi disertai edukasi kepada ibu dapat membantu mencegah penurunan status gizi anak dengan cara meningkatkan kesadaran ibu dari skor rata-rata 3,7 menjadi skor rata-rata 7,6 mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan gizi seimbang pada masa pemulihan pascabencana. Dengan demikian, intervensi gizi berbasis komunitas ini berpotensi menjadi strategi efektif dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan keluarga dan mencegah risiko gizi kurang maupun stunting pada anak di wilayah rawan bencana.

Abstract

Demam merupakan peningkatan suhu tubuh diatas normal sebagai respons terhadap rangsangan patologis, terutama infeksi, dan sering terjadi pada anak usia 1-5 tahun akibat sistem imun yang belum berkembang sempurna. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi kompres hangat dan paracetamol dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh anak dengan hipertermia. Waktu dan Tempat: Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 17–19 Desember 2025 di Rumah Sakit PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case report dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang pasien anak dengan demam yang dirawat di Bangsal Ibnu Sina RS PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Suhu tubuh diukur sebelum intervensi (pretest) dan setelah pemberian paracetamol serta tindakan kompres hangat (posttest) menggunakan alat ukur yang sama. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk melihat perubahan suhu tubuh sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terdapat penurunan pada suhu tubuh anak  sebelum diberikan intervensi suhu tubuh 38,9°C dan setelah diberikan intervensi selama tiga hari berturut-turut terjadi penurunan suhu menjadi 36,7°C. Kesimpulan: Adanya penurunan suhu tubuh pada anak dengan demam setelah dilakukan pemberian kombinasi paracetamol dan kompres hangat. Intervensi ini dapat menjadi salah satu tindakan keperawatan untuk membantu menurunkan suhu tubuh dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pasien.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimum dosage of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) fertilizers to support the growth of Bitter Gourd (Momordica charantia L.). The experiment was conducted using a single-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of fertilizer dosage levels at 0%, 25%, 50%, and 75% of the recommended doses (equivalent to 5 g Urea, 4 g SP-36, and 4 g KCl per plant). Observations were made on plant height at 1 and 2 weeks after planting (WAP), number of leaves at 1 and 2 WAP, as well as fresh weight and dry weight. The results indicated that variations in N, P, and K fertilizers dosages significantly influenced all growth parameters. Generally, the treatment at 25% of the recommended dose showed the best results compared to other treatments. Quadratic regression analysis revealed that the optimum dosages for plant height at 1 WAP and 2 WAP were 25.71% (R² = 0.64) and 19.70% (R² = 0.53) of the recommended dose, respectively. The optimum dosage for number of leaves at 2 WAP was 15% (R² = 0.50), while the optimum dosages for fresh weight and dry weight were 8.5% (R² = 0.56) dan 10.38% (R² = 0.55) respectively.

Abstract

Loose parts refer to materials that can be moved, combined, separated, and reassembled in various ways. These materials, which can be natural or synthetic, are used creatively and flexibly to support learning. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using loose parts as a media in Islamic Religious Education learning at Mutiara Ibu Elementary School, Purworejo. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation and documentation during PAI learning activities. The results showed that the use of loose parts successfully enhanced students' creativity, active participation, and understanding of PAI materials. With this medium, students were more enthusiastic about learning PAI without feeling bored. Additionally, teachers faced challenges in selecting materials appropriate to the content and managing learning activities effectively. Nevertheless, with proper planning, loose parts can serve as an innovative and effective tool for improving the quality of PAI learning at Mutiara Ibu Elementary School.

Abstract

The development of religious character among elementary school students continues to face implementation challenges, as school literacy programs tend to emphasise cognitive aspects while insufficiently integrating reflective processes. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of guided multimodal expressive writing in strengthening students’ religious character and to explain the underlying mechanisms of value internalisation. This study employed a mixed methods approach using a sequential explanatory design. The quantitative component used a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design, involving 30 first-grade students from a Muhammadiyah elementary school selected through purposive sampling. The instruments included a religious character observation checklist, a multimodal work analysis rubric, and anecdotal records. Quantitative data were analysed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, while qualitative data were analysed through thematic analysis. The results showed significant improvements across all dimensions of religious character (p < 0.001), with large effect sizes (r = 0.75–0.87), particularly in religious awareness and social care. Qualitative findings indicated that these improvements were associated with the development of reflective processing, which enabled students to construct meaning from their experiences. This study contributes a structured model of guided multimodal expressive writing that integrates multimodal expression and reflective scaffolding to support value internalisation among early-grade students. These findings suggest that expressive writing can function as a pedagogical strategy within literacy programs to support the development of students’ religious character.

Although the use of digital media in primary school instruction has received considerable attention in previous studies, research that specifically examines the integration of flipbooks with Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve the ability to write factual and opinion sentences remains limited. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of PBL-based flipbook teaching materials in improving the writing skills of sixth-grade students, particularly in distinguishing between facts and opinions. A mixed-methods approach was employed using a one-group pretest–posttest design combined with qualitative observations and interviews, involving 22 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using writing tests, observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and interview protocols, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. The findings show that the integration of flipbooks and PBL increased student engagement, strengthened group collaboration, and improved individual learning outcomes, although variation in achievement remained. These results contribute to the development of digital constructivist learning theory and broaden understanding of the use of interactive media in Indonesian language instruction. The study concludes that interactive flipbooks play an important role in supporting elementary school students’ analytical writing skills and recommends that teachers adopt digital PBL-based teaching materials to strengthen literacy competencies. The implications of this research include theoretical contributions to digital pedagogy and practical recommendations for educators to modernize learning resources, while also opening opportunities for further exploration of adaptive digital media and differentiated instruction in the teaching of writing.

Abstract

Low motivation and poor academic performance among students are issues that require serious attention in primary education. This community service activity aimed to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MI NW Kembang Kuning through an after-school tutoring program. The methods employed included interactive lectures, question-and-answer sessions, group discussions, educational games, assignments, and the provision of rewards and positive reinforcement. The program was conducted over four weeks, with each session lasting 90 minutes, five days a week. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, marked by an increase in the average score from 49.8 in the pre-test to 87.6 in the post-test, representing a 76% increase. A total of 60% of students achieved a perfect score of 100 in the post-test. Increased learning motivation was also reflected in a 95% attendance rate, greater active participation in asking and answering questions, and growing student initiative in completing tasks independently. The program received a positive response from the head of the madrasah, teachers, and parents. It can be concluded that the after-school tutoring program proved effective in enhancing student motivation and learning outcomes at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level.
