Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explore the language of Friday sermons at Al-Amin Mosque in Banturung, Bukit Batu District, Palu Raya, from the perspective of everyday language philosophy. This study uses an eclectic hermeneutic approach, which begins with a systematic process of data collection and separation. All collected data were then evaluated through several important elements, namely descriptive, interpretative, reflective, inclusive, and synthetic methods, to gain a deeper understanding of the object of study. The results of the study indicate that the language used in Friday sermons at Masjid Al-Amin is greatly influenced by the diversity of linguistic tools and their usage, as well as the variation in word types and sentence structures employed by the preacher. These findings were then compared with the views of logic experts on language structure, resulting in the conclusion that the language of Friday sermons at the mosque is a form of language play, namely religious language that has a special function in conveying moral and spiritual messages to the congregation. This study is expected to contribute to the development of the science of communication in preaching and serve as a reference for preachers in selecting and using effective language in conveying religious messages. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding the context and variety of language use in everyday religious preaching practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media video edukasi terhadap kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Nurul Muttahid Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-pretest. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu kelas yang terdiri dari 10 anak usia 5-6 tahun. Intrumen yang digunakan berupa rubrik penilaian teknik ceklis anak yang mencakup aspek percaya diri, tanggu dan adaptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor kemandiri anak setelah diberi penerapan berupa pemutaran media video edukasi. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa penggunaan media video edukasi dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan kemandirian anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, media ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi anak dilingkungan PAUD

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis type of research is a pre-experimental study. The purpose of the research is to analyze students' learning outcomes before the implementation of Wordwall-based learning media, to analyze students' learning outcomes after the implementation of Wordwall-based learning media, and to determine the improvement in students' knowledge before and after the implementation of Wordwall-based learning media in Science subjects for Grade V students at SD Negeri Sungguminasa 1The research results showed that the average score during the pretest was 46.88, which is categorized as low and not yet satisfactory. However, after implementing the Wordwall-based learning media, the average posttest score increased significantly to 91.52, which is categorized as high and satisfactory. Based on the N-gain test results, the average N-gain score of the students was 0.84, which is categorized as high (N-gain 0.7). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of Wordwall-based learning media can improve students' learning outcomes in Science subjects for Grade V at SD Negeri Sungguminasa 1.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Science, Wordwall-Based Learning MediaABSTRAKJenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen, tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa sebelum diterapkan media pembelajaran berbasis wordwall, untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan media pembelajaran berbasis wordwall dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan media pembelajaran berbasis wordwall pada Mata Pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri Sungguminasa 1.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pada saat pretest 46,88 dikategorikan rendah dan belum tuntas sedangkan setelah diterapkan media pembelajaran berbasis wordwall pada saat posttes nilai rata-ratanya di kategorikan tinggi dan tuntas yaitu 91,52. Pada hasil uji N-gain nilai rata-rata peserta didik dikategorikan tinggi yaitu 0,84 dari N-gain 0,7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA di kelas V SD Negeri Sungguminasa 1.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar, IPA, Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Wordwall

Abstract

Someone who works for a long time and work positions that are not ergonomic can certainly cause musculoskeletal disorders. One of the musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) associated with computer use is neck pain. The cause of neck pain is due to not paying attention to ergonomic positions, resulting in neck muscle fatigue caused by awkward postures of the neck muscles for a long time. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between duration and work posture of computer use with neck pain complaints in Kampar Regent Office employees. This type of research is an observational analytic quantitative method with a cross sectional design. The population and sample in this study amounted to 72 people with total sampling technique. Data collection tools using questionnaire distribution and observation. This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis with the fisher exact. The results showed that the duration of work had a p-value of 0.02 (p<0.05), and the work posture had a p-value of 0.04 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a significant relationship between work duration and work posture with neck pain complaints in Kampar Regent Office employees. It is expected that employees of the Kampar Regent's Office pay more attention to the duration and good work posture so as to reduce complaints of neck pain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis : (1) Pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru; (2) Pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru; dan (3) Pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan dilakukan di Gugus TK Ceria Kecamatan Toboali Bangka Selatan dengan responden sebanyak 60 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas konstruk sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha. Uji Prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linearitas serta data dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 44,6%; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 44%;. (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan budaya organisasi dan motivasi secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 58,9%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated learning through guided inquiry model on problem-solving ability and science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Borongkaramasa in Gowa Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Gugus 5, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research sample was fifth grade students of SDN Borongkaramasa with a random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was the test and documentation technique. This study was conducted by providing a pretest as an initial result before being given treatment and at the end of the meeting a posttest was given as a result of the treatment. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS v.28 application by looking for the results of the normality test, homogeneity test and Independent Sample t-Test to test the hypothesis. Research results (1) There is an influence of differentiated learning through guided inquiry model on the problem solving ability of science subjects of class V of Borongkaramasa Elementary School in Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. (2) There is an influence of differentiated learning through guided inquiry model on the learning outcomes of science subjects of class V of Borongkaramasa Elementary School in Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. (3) It can be concluded that there is an influence of differentiated learning through guided inquiry model on the problem solving ability and learning outcomes of science subjects of class V of Borongkaramasa Elementary School in Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the management of iPad integration in enhancing student motivation and academic achievement at Singapore International School (SIS) Palembang. Specifically, it examines (1) how iPad use is managed to boost motivation, (2) its impact on academic performance, and (3) the challenges and solutions in its implementation. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers, students, and school administrators. The results reveal that iPad management follows a systematic cycle: planning (school policies and teacher training), organizing (structured role distribution), implementing (active, technology-driven lessons), and evaluating (digital assessments and stakeholder feedback). The findings demonstrate that iPads significantly increase student motivation by fostering engagement, collaboration, and personalized learning, while also improving academic outcomes through enhanced 21st-century skills. Key challenges include screen time concerns, device dependency, and technical issues. The study’s novelty lies in its holistic analysis of iPad management within a Southeast Asian international school context, bridging gaps between policy, pedagogy, and practical barriers. Practical implications highlight the need for adaptive policies, ongoing teacher training, and robust evaluation frameworks to optimize technology integration. This research contributes to the discourse on digital education by providing a replicable model for balancing technological innovation with sustainable educational practices.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the assessment profile of pediatric compounded powder prescriptions at the Malili Community Health Center for the period October–December 2023, focusing on the completeness of administrative, pharmaceutical, and clinical aspects based on the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation No. 74/2016. The research also aimed to identify potential incompatibilities, ensure accurate dosage, and assess potential drug interactions. Research Method: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional design with retrospective data collection was employed. A total of 237 pediatric compounded powder prescriptions, selected using Slovin’s formula from 1,215 prescriptions, met the inclusion criteria. Data were analyzed descriptively to evaluate compliance percentages across administrative, pharmaceutical, and clinical parameters. Results and Discussion: Administrative completeness reached 100% for patient name, age, doctor’s name, initials, date, and unit of origin; however, patient weight was 83.96%, while height and gender were absent, and the doctor’s SIP number was 38.39%. In pharmaceutical aspects, drug name, form, dosage, quantity, and usage instructions met 100% compliance, while strength of preparation was 26.16%. No drug incompatibilities were found. Clinically, treatment duplication and timeliness reached 100%, but dosage errors (underdose, overdose) and drug interactions (74.26%) were identified. Implications: The findings underscore the need to enhance prescription completeness, particularly in terms of drug strength, SIP number, and patient anthropometric data, to align with national pharmaceutical service standards and improve patient safety. Further training for prescribers and pharmacists is recommended.

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical factor in organizational success and is influenced by various psychological and behavioral factors. Among them, work motivation and job satisfaction play significant roles in shaping employee behavior and outcomes. However, the role of work discipline as an intervening variable in this relationship has not been thoroughly explored, especially in cooperative institutions. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance, with work discipline serving as a mediating variable.  This research uses a quantitative approach, involving 128 employees selected through probability sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that neither work motivation (P = 0.426) nor job satisfaction (P = 0.112) has a direct, significant effect on work discipline. Likewise, neither work motivation (P = 0.154) nor job satisfaction (P = 0.112) has a direct influence on employee performance. However, work discipline has a significant impact on performance (P = 0.187), and it mediates the effect of work motivation (P = 0.010) and job satisfaction (P = 0.002) on employee performance. Work discipline plays a crucial mediating role in translating motivation and satisfaction into improved employee performance.
