Abstract

This adult consumers has become an important pioneer in product sales and improvement of technology and rapid information makes consumers choose a quality product at a low price so that companies vying to create a quality product and competitive in the market so much in buying by consumers. So to get products have the same quality and product prices can cheap, is used method of value analysis, where this method refers to the replacement of good material, design, or child part that have been previously used but not reduce the main function of the product is so that it can reduce the price of the goods. The analysis showed that the product that changed in terms of this material can reduce the price of the product so that can be used to saving cost.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent of the implementation of the Child Friendly School program at MTsN 6 Jombang. This evaluation research uses the CIPP evaluation model. This research is an evaluative research with a qualitative approach with a type of case study. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation methods. While the data analysis stage was carried out in three stages, namely reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that: (1) In the context evaluation, it can be said that the program is in accordance with the needs of the community and there is also a legal basis for the implementation of the program; (2) In the evaluation, the input aspect can be said to be very good, because the implementation of the program is handled very well, namely by the formation of a Child Friendly School Team and also the existence of facilities that support the program; (3) Evaluation of the process aspects related to the program shows that the program is carried out very well, including that almost all existing learning processes must include child-friendly elements in the curriculum. Apart from that cooperation is also carried out to all stakeholders; and (4) Regarding the evaluation of the results, it can be seen from the awards that the school has received, both in the academic and non-academic fields, including those related to the Child Friendly School program, which is winning the highest award or the best national level predicate as a Child Friendly School. The results of this evaluation research are expected to contribute to Islamic education institutions as best practice in implementing the Child Friendly School program.

Abstract

Implementation of facilities and infrastructure planning in improving the quality of education in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi. This research uses qualitative methods. The subject in this study is the implementation of facilities and infrastructure planning in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi. The informants in the research are Teachers and Students. how to interview, observation, and documentation. Data validity techniques using data triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis techniques using interactive methods, data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study note that (1) the implementation of facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of education in SMA Negeri 1 Serbajadi is carried out with Planning and Infrastructure Planning (Planning, namely a coordination meeting, determining the program, and determining the need for educational facilities and infrastructure. Organizing Facilities and Infrastructure (Organizing) covers the organizational structure of facilities and infrastructure management, division of job assignments/job descriptions, setting tools and practice materials, and organizing practical activities. Implementation of Facilities and Infrastructure Management (Actuating) in the form of procurement, maintenance, and elimination of facilities and infrastructure Control and Infrastructure (Controlling (carried out with an inventory. Abstract

Teaching speaking is not easy. The teacher has to use an appropriate technique in teaching speaking. The research problem came from the Eighth Grade students of SMPN 1 Arjawinangun Cirebon. The students were passive in conversation when someone talked in English because the teacher taught using traditional method which made them bored and could not give feedback in English conversation. On the students’ side, they get difficulties in learning speaking because they felt bored and passive during teaching and learning process. This research aims to explain how significant the students’ achievement taught by using role play and information gap technique conducted with high and low self-confident of students in e-teaching speaking context. The research design was a quasi-experimental design with a 2x2 factorial design involving the eighth-grade students SMPN 1 Arjawinangun, Cirebon as the research participants. There were two experimental groups involved. The students’ different self-confidence was taken as a factor that might influence the techniques. In collecting the data, the writer used speaking test to get students’ scores and questionnaires made by Google Form and on-line system. The data was analyzed using ANOVA to answer the main hypotheses. Based on the analysis of the significance score was 0.178 which was higher than 0.05. It can be concluded that there was no significant difference on the students’ achievement taught by role play and information-gap for students with high and low self-confidence. This research is expected to give a contribution to the research such as giving appropriate technique to teach speaking in e-learning.

Abstract

High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) has become a hot issue because some experts believe it can improve the students’ problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. HOTS-based learning has also been established as part of the 2013 curriculum in Indonesia. However, in reality, many teachers have difficulty applying HOTS in the teaching and learning process. They still use conventional rote learning because of the influence of zoning systems. It make the teachers have not found HOTS-based learning and assessment methods appropriate for heterogeneous students. One of HOTS activities that can be applied in the teaching and learning process is reading. It can encourage the students to establish their ways of thinking, improve their knowledge, and use their ability to solve a problem. Therefore, this study was focused on the issues related to HOTS-based assessment development, especially in terms of intensive reading assessment. Research and Development (R&D) was used as a research design in this study. The samples of this study were the students of XI IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Pekalongan in the academic year of 2019/2020. A questionnaire, interview, observation checklist, and tests were used to collect the data. Also, there are two data analysis techniques, qualitative and quantitative, to ensure that the prototype is categorized as a well-being assessment. The result of this study was shown that the assessment is valid, reliable, and practical. In conclusion, HOTS based intensive reading assessment is applicable to stimulate and measure the critical thinking and creativity of the students’ reading skill.

Abstract

Abstract: Islamic law and culture are still interesting themes. The two of them often sit in confrontation and opposition. Meanwhile, in practice the implementation of Islamic law cannot be separated from the culture of the local community. In the context of Javanese society, for example, Islamic law has synergized with adat in the context of forming a noble and civilized character of society. This article aims to analyze the relationship between Islamic law and Javanese culture. The two are often positioned contradictory. This article is the result of doctrinal legal research using a sociological approach. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between Islamic law and Javanese culture is compromise. Both of them establish a partnership relationship with roles and functions proportionally. The values of humanization, liberalization, and transcendence are meeting points between Islamic law and Javanese culture. The sacred text needs to be objectified and contextualized in the context of the development process of a religious Javanese society.Keywords: Islamic law; Javanese culture; prophetic. Abstrak: Hokum Islam dan budaya masih menjadi tema menarik. Keduanya tidak jarang diduduknya secara konfrontatif dan berseberangan. Sementara itu, dalam praktiknya implementasi hokum Islam tidak dapat dipisahkan dari budaya masyarakat setempat. Dalam konteks masyarakat Jawa misalnya, hukum Islam telah bersinergi dengan adat dalam rangka pembentukan karakter masyarakat yang luhur dan beradab. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis relasi hukum Islam dan kebudayaan Jawa. Keduanya sering diposisikan secara kontradiktif. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian hukum doktrinal dengan pendekatan sosiologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa relasi hukum Islam dan budaya Jawa bersifat kompromistik. Keduanya menjalin hubungan kemitraan dengan peran dan fungsi secara proporsional. Nilai humanisasi, liberalisasi, dan transendensi merupakan titik temu antara hukum Islam dan kebudayaan Jawa Teks suci perlu dilakukan Obyektifikasi dan kontekstualisasi dalam rangka proses pembangunan masyarakat Jawa yang religiusKata Kunci: hukum Islam; kebudayaan Jawa; profetik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: 1) Review and analyse the implementation of the registration of a Deed Granting a dependent by a conveyancer exceeding the deadline for registration at the Land Office Boyolali Regency. 2) review and analyze the consequences of the ruling against Certificate Awarding a late Dependent was enrolled in Boyolali District Land Office. The method of approach in writing this is the juridical sociological. The specification of this research uses descriptive analytic. Data source use the primary data and the data of skunder. Engineering data collection using the study interviews and observations. To analyze the data, the researchers used a qualitative descriptive methods of analysis. Based on the research results obtained conclusions that: 1) the implementation of the registration of a deed Granting a dependent by a conveyancer exceeding the deadline for registration at the Land Office Boyolali Regency implemented can still be accepted, but the Office Land tenure obligates a conveyancer Boyolali Regency too late to make the affidavits and statements late accompanied reasons of delay and file registration rights that dependents can receive and remain unprocessed because in section 114 subsection (7) Regulation of the Minister of State Agrarian/head of National Land Agency Number 3 Year 1997 regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Government Regulation Number 24 year 1997 Regarding land registry has mentioned that the "conditions of registration Rights Agreements should be implemented by the Office of Although the land delivery of files by a conveyancer is done after the set time. " 2) due to the ruling against Certificate Awarding a late Dependent was enrolled in the Office of land and Boyolali district, namely the recent Dependent Right of birth, but does not affect the validity of the registered Deed of Grant Agreements. The consequences will be over by the time limit register Deed of Grant Agreements by Land Deed Official, administrative sanctions against incurring conveyancer that is in the form of an oral reprimand if the first still do delay, if repeated then Land Office Boyolali Regency will give reprimand in writing to the conveyancer in order to pay attention to the conditions of the time limit that has been set. Late registration also gives rise to a loss against the parties concerned in particular the lender because the registration rights agreements be determinant the birth rights of dependents. Yet not cause the Deed of Grant Agreements tied up inclusion of third parties against the promises that are enforced by the lender and the owner of the rights to objects of dependents. Registration rights agreements aimed so that the certificate of entitlement Dependants can be born and creditors as stakeholders protected by law the rights of preferred creditors as Dependents who have positions take precedence in the payment of debt of the debtor. Abstract

The energy crisis is one of the problems facing mankind today. Because of the limitations of existing fossil energy on earth then much alternative energy development. One alternative energyi is developed briquettes. The briquettes are used in this study is the briquettes are made from raw material palm oil shell. Palm shell briquettes made by particle size variations. The measure used in the study are smaller than 8 mesh, between 8-12 mesh, between 12-20 mesh, and greater than 20 mesh. Grouping particle size sieve used to size 8 mesh, 12 mesh and 20 mesh. As the adhesives used briquettes cassava flour in the ratio 1:7 to palm shells. Briquettes with a mesh size of between 8 - 12 mesh has an average calorific value of the largest in the amount of 4696.2 cal / g. Briquettes with size greater than 20 mesh is the briquettes to trigger the shortest time and the amount of residual char slightly. Briquettes with size smaller than 8 mesh is briquettes with flame longest time with an average temperature of 65 ◦ C. Keywords:Briquettes palm shells, large calorific value of briquettes, bomb calorimeter

Abstract

In interpersonal meaning, language is used to see the relationship between the speaker/writer with the listener/reader. Using interpersonal meaning to analyze written text is useful to see how the writer gives information and suggestion to the reader. This study investigated the interpersonal meaning realizing in the report text that is 354 clauses from 20 texts written by the undergraduate students. It used the framework from the Systemic Functional Linguistics by Eggins (2004) and Halliday and Matthiessen (2014). This research is qualitative case study research because it focuses on the analysis or interpretation of the written material. It analyzes mood system, modality system, speech function and students’ mastery in writing report text. From the analysis, it found that mostly declarative mood realized in the report text, it is 334 clauses and it is categorized as statement in the speech function. In the modality system, the most type realized in the text is modalization type, it is 38 clauses. By analyzing report text using interpersonal meaning, it was found the students’ mastery in the writing skill. The are only some students did mistakes in writing some clauses. Therefore using interpersonal meaning to analyze text help to know the mastery of the students in writing and also can improve their skill. It can be said that interpersonal meaning also realize in the report text. The realization can be seen from the types of mood, modality and speech function that were found in the report text.

Abstract

This qualitative research attempted to review the influence of Kemak Sanirin dialect towards students’ English pronunciation. The objectives of the study were to explain the influence of Kemak Sanirin dialect towards students’ English pronunciation of vowels, consonants, diphthongs, and consonant clusters and to explain the way teachers play their roles to improve students’ pronunciation. This study employed descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were 18 students from eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Atambua. The data were collected by using questionnaire, students’ recording, observation checklist, and interview. Then, the results of this study show that Kemak Sanirin dialect contributed some positive transfer on vowels (i, ɪ, u, e, ʊ, and ə), insignificant negative transfer on consonants (p, b, k, r, s, g, m, etc.) and siginificant negative transfer on consonant (z), significant positive transfer on diphtongs (eɪ, aɪ, au) and significant negative transfer on (ɔɪ, ɛə, əʊ, and ɪə), significant negative transfer on three consonant clusters, while teacher did play his roles in improving students’ pronunciation.
