Abstract

Abstract:  Kedai 'Aisyiyah is one of the businesses in Parepare City that still faces obstacles, especially in production and marketing. Kedai 'Aisyiyah's products do not yet have advantages and uniqueness, resulting in low competitiveness and a conventional marketing system. The goal of this program is to improve partners' knowledge and skills in making moringa leaf cakes, especially moringa leaf brownies and cookies. To address these issues, community service activities were carried out in the form of product innovation assistance through the use of local moringa leaf food and the application of smart oven technology. The program was implemented at the Culinary Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Parepare, involving 11 members of Kedai 'Aisyiyah. The implementation method included five stages: socialization, preparation, education on the nutritional content of moringa leaves, training in making moringa leaf cakes, and monitoring. The results of the activity showed a 55% increase in participants' knowledge, as evidenced by a comparison of pre-test and post-test results. In addition, partners' skills in producing moringa leaf cakes improved significantly after participating in the training.Abstrak: Kedai 'Aisyiyah merupakan salah satu usaha di Kota Parepare yang masih mengalami kendala khususnya dalam produksi dan pemasaran. Produk Kedai 'Aisyiyah belum memiliki keunggulan dan keunikan sehingga daya saingnya rendah serta sistem pemasaran masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam membuat kue daun kelor khususnya brownies dan cookies daun kelor. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pendampingan inovasi produk melalui pemanfaatan pangan lokal daun kelor dan penerapan teknologi smart oven. Program dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kuliner Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare dengan melibatkan 11 anggota Kedai ‘Aisyiyah. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup lima tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, persiapan, edukasi kandungan gizi daun kelor, pelatihan pembuatan kue daun kelor, serta monitoring. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 55%, yang dibuktikan melalui perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Selain itu, keterampilan mitra dalam memproduksi kue daun kelor meningkat secara signifikan setelah mengikuti pelatihan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Laboratories, as healthcare facilities that conduct clinical, environmental, biomedical, and other types of testing, pose hazards and risks that can impact the health and safety of workers. Laboratory staff are often involved in activities such as pipetting and using computers, which can cause injuries due to repetitive movements. Working at a bench or in front of a microscope without considering body posture can cause back strain. Standing and sitting in static postures and performing repetitive movements have been shown to cause various musculoskeletal problems. This education aims to increase the understanding of employees at the Tangerang City Health Laboratory. This activity was carried out using an educational approach, with a duration of ± 50 minutes. The community service activity was held at the Tangerang City Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda) on November 28, 2024, starting at 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a total of 12 laboratory technicians participating. The counseling used PowerPoint presentations on musculoskeletal complaints and stretching to prevent musculoskeletal complaints. Before and after the session, pre- and post-tests were conducted via Google Forms to measure the employees' understanding of musculoskeletal complaints.  The results showed an increase in the understanding of Labkesda City of Tangerang employees regarding musculoskeletal complaints, their causes, prevention, and risk mitigation through stretching.  The educational activity ran smoothly and successfully. The Labkesda employees were very enthusiastic about asking questions and suggested continuing the collaboration in ergonomic and occupational safety and health (OSH) education activities for laboratory staff at Labkesda Kota Tangerang. Keywords: Complaints, Musculoskeletal, Counseling, Powerpoint.  ABSTRAK Laboratorium sebagai tempat pelayanan kesehatan yang melakukan pemeriksaan klinik, lingkungan, biomedik dan sebagainya, terdapat bahaya dan risiko yang berdampak pada kesehatan dan keselamatan pekerja. Petugas laboratorium sering terlibat dalam tindakan seperti pemipetan dan penggunaan komputer yang dapat mengakibatkan cedera akibat gerakan berulang. Bekerja di bangku atau di depan mikroskop tanpa mempertimbangkan postur tubuh dapat menyebabkan ketegangan punggung. Berdiri dan duduk dalam postur statis dan melakukan gerakan berulang-ulang telah terbukti menyebabkan berbagai masalah muskuloskeletal. Edukasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pegawai di Labkesda Kota Tangerang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan penyuluhan, dengan durasi ± 50 menit. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Daerah (Labkesda) Kota Tangerang, pada tanggal 28 November 2024, yang dimulai pada pukul 13.30 WIB sampai dengan jam 15.00 WIB dengan total peserta 12 laboran. Penyuluhan menggunakan media penyuluhan menggunakan power point mengenai keluhan musculoskeletal dan peregangan untuk mencegah keluhan musculoskeletal. Sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dilakukan tes awal dan tes akhir melalui google form untuk mengukur pemahaman pegawai mengenai keluhan muskuloskeletal.  Hasilnya, ada peningkatan pemahaman pegawai Lakesda Kota Tangerang mengenai keluhan musculoskeletal, penyebab, pencegahan dan penanggulangan risiko keluhan muskuloskeletal dengan peregangan. Kegiatan edukasi berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pegawai Labkesda sangat antusias untuk bertanya dan mereka menyarankan untuk melanjutkan kerja sama dalam kegiatan edukasi ergonomi dan K3 pada laboran di Labkesda Kota Tangerang. Kata Kunci: Keluhan, Muskuloskeletal, Penyuluhan, Powerpoint

Abstract

Banyak siswa tidak menyukai matematika dan menganggapnya tidak relevan dengan kebutuhan mereka (Grootenboer and Marshman 2016). Siswa takut, cemas, bahkan benci pelajaran matematika sehingga tidak senang mengikuti pelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, sehingga pembelajaran matematika harus direncanakan secara matang dengan metode yang bervariasi sehingga siswa merasa nyaman mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran sebagaimana pendapat (Stoll 1999) bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan cenderung menentukan sejauh mana siswa memahami materi yang disajikan kepada mereka. Penelitian ini adalah classroom action research untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan pembelajaran pemberian tugas terstruktur disertai umpan balik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TJK.I SMK Handayani Makassar sebnayk 36 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dengan tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, dan angket respons siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siklus I sebesar 61,11 dengan standar deviasi 14.88 meningkat pada siklus II dengan rata-rata sebesar 70,83 dan standar deviasi 12,73. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebanyak 9,72% sehingga dengan diterapkannya pembelajaran dengan pemberian tugas terstruktur disertai umpan balik pada siswa, maka hasil belajar matematika dan keaktifan siswa dapat meningkat.

Abstract

This study demonstrates the performance of platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) as contrast agents for computed tomography (CT). Synthesized through pulsed laser ablation, Pt NPs were stabilized in carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). In CT imaging evaluations, the CMC-stabilized Pt NPs generated significantly higher Hounsfield Unit (HU) values and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) than both their DIW-based counterparts and a conventional iodine-based agent. Remarkably, this enhanced contrast was achieved at substantially lower ppm concentrations, highlighting the potential of CMC-stabilized Pt NPs to offer a more efficient and powerful alternative to current clinical standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif berbagai strategi manajemen pendidikan olahraga yang berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan prestasi siswa melalui pendekatan literature review. Kajian dilakukan terhadap 15 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang diterbitkan pada periode 2020-2025 dan terindeks dalam basis data bereputasi seperti Scopus, Web of Science, dan DOAJ. Sumber literatur diperoleh dari jurnal seperti Frontiers in Psychology, BMC Psychology, PLOS ONE, dan Education Sciences. Analisis difokuskan pada lima dimensi utama strategi manajemen pendidikan olahraga, yaitu kepemimpinan pelatih, inovasi pembelajaran, manajemen program, evaluasi berbasis model CIPP, serta dukungan kebijakan kelembagaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformatif pelatih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi, kohesi tim, dan ketahanan mental siswa-atlet. Model pembelajaran berbasis bukti seperti Sport Education Model (SEM), Tactical Games Model (TGM), dan Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, pemahaman taktis, serta partisipasi aktif siswa. Inovasi pembelajaran digital dan penerapan gamifikasi juga berperan penting dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan relevan dengan karakteristik generasi digital. Selain itu, penerapan evaluasi berbasis model CIPP dan dukungan kebijakan pendidikan olahraga yang berkelanjutan terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas pembinaan prestasi di sekolah. Kesimpulannya, strategi manajemen pendidikan olahraga yang efektif harus bersifat holistik, mencakup sinergi antara kepemimpinan inspiratif, inovasi pedagogis, sistem evaluasi yang sistematis, dan kebijakan kelembagaan yang adaptif. Pendekatan manajemen yang terintegrasi tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan prestasi kompetitif siswa, tetapi juga mengembangkan karakter, nilai sosial, dan kesejahteraan psikologis mereka.

Abstract

Mechanical neck pain is a common condition among employees who perform static tasks in non-ergonomic postures while using digital devices, potentially leading to pain, disability, and reduced work productivity. The purpose of this study to prove that deep cervical flexion exercise with pressure biofeedback is more effective than muscle energy technique in reducing neck pain and disability in mechanical neck pain conditions of digital creative employees. This study is a true experiment with pre-test and post-test two group design. The subjects of the study were 24 people who were randomly divided into two groups. Group 1 (n=12) received deep cervical flexion exercise with pressure biofeedback, while group 2 (n=12) received muscle energy technique. Pain intensity was measured using the numeric pain rating scale and neck disability was assessed using the neck disability index. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significant reduction in pain and disability in both groups (p=0.001; p<0.05). The independent sample t-test confirmed significant differences between the groups (p<0.05), with group 1 showing a greater percentage reduction in both pain (68.40%) and disability (55.48%) compared to group 2 (44% and 30.55%). In conclusion, deep cervical flexion exercise with pressure biofeedback showed greater improvement compared to muscle energy technique in reducing neck pain and disability in mechanical neck pain conditions of digital creative employees. Although limited by age differences between groups as a potential confounding factor, the findings remain applicable to workers with prolonged static and non-ergonomic postures.

Abstract

Minimnya informasi yang komprehensif mengenai HIV/AIDS serta terbatasnya pendidikan kecakapan hidup menyebabkan masyarakat lebih rentan terhadap penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Kurangnya pemahaman ini turut memperkuat stigma terhadap Orang dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA), yang menghambat upaya pencegahan dan penanganan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi edukatif berbasis Android yang menyajikan informasi dasar tentang HIV/AIDS secara mudah diakses dan interaktif. Metode pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, serta pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan pendekatan black-box testing. Data diperoleh melalui studi literatur dan wawancara dengan tenaga kesehatan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai fungsinya tanpa ditemukan kesalahan berarti. Aplikasi ini berpotensi menjadi alternatif media edukasi yang efektif, mendorong peningkatan literasi kesehatan, serta mengurangi stigma terhadap ODHA. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam membentuk masyarakat yang lebih sadar, inklusif, dan peduli terhadap isu HIV/AIDS.

Abstract

Challenges include limited facilities, human resource constraints, and the need to improve learning quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of democratic, laissez-faire, and transformational leadership styles applied by SMAN principals in carrying out managerial and educational leadership functions. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and reviews of school documentation. The research subjects consisted of 1 principal, 15 teachers, 10 students, and five educational staff. The results showed that the democratic leadership style was applied in strategic decision-making and the formation of school policies involving various parties. Meanwhile, the laissez-faire approach was used in teacher professional development and the implementation of extracurricular activities, in which the principal granted full autonomy to teachers and students. On the other hand, the transformational leadership style was reflected in an inspirational vision, encouragement of learning and innovation, and the formation of an adaptive and collaborative school culture. The combination of these three leadership styles demonstrated effectiveness in creating a positive learning environment, empowering all school components, and encouraging improvements in the quality of education. The implications of this study provide an overview of the importance of flexibility and contextual sensitivity in principal leadership in developing areas.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of Indonesian language module utilization on vocabulary acquisition and speaking skills among Management Class A2 students at Serang Raya University, motivated by observed challenges in their verbal expression and communication benchmarks. Recognizing language's fundamental role in national development and effective communication, the research specifically aimed to ascertain the modules' influence on students' vocabulary acquisition. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive and correlational design, data were collected from 21 Management Class A2 students through Google Forms questionnaires, classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis. The study assessed student perceptions of the Indonesian language module's effectiveness in improving vocabulary, its application, retention, and impact on writing skills, noting a majority of students actively used the module over extended periods. The study's findings unequivocally demonstrate a significant positive influence of Indonesian language modules on students' vocabulary acquisition. A robust correlation was established, indicating that enhanced vocabulary mastery directly improves speaking abilities and fosters more active learning participation. Quantitative analysis of questionnaire results, yielding an 18.97% score, categorized the module as "Very Helpful," thereby strongly supporting its perceived effectiveness. This direct correlation between higher vocabulary and more responsive speaking facilitates improved lecturer-student communication and overall academic engagement. Consequently, the study concludes that Indonesian language modules are highly effective in developing students' vocabulary, which in turn significantly boosts their speaking proficiency and academic communication, underscoring their critical role in fostering essential linguistic competencies for personal growth and national development.

Abstract

This study investigates whether applying behaviorist operant conditioning can better use reinforcement in EFL classrooms to increase students’ speaking confidence, skills, and motivation. Using a quasi-experimental, non-equivalent control-group design, an experimental class received reinforcement while a control class followed conventional instruction; pre/post tests and a Likert-scale motivation questionnaire were analyzed with t-tests. Results show significant gains for the experimental group: mean speaking scores rose to Satisfactory (82.37) versus the control’s Adequately outcome (69.12), score dispersion narrowed (SD 10.21 to 6.01), and post-test distributions shifted to Satisfactory. Motivation outcomes were robust, with most students reporting high motivation after reinforcement. We conclude that operant conditioning effectively strengthens desirable speaking behaviors, increases engagement, and reduces performance variability, offering a practical approach for speaking classes. Implications include integrating reinforcement, feedback, and repetition into classroom pedagogy to sustain gains.
