Abstract

This study presents the handling of burnout in foster care in terms of service to students. Foster guardians play a significant role as second parents who must control, foster, motivate, and protect students. This foster guardian has fostered children of more than ten people, where the foster guardian must recognize the students' character one by one, which causes burnout in serving the students. This study aims to understand strategies to avoid burnout in foster care by serving students with unique characteristics. This study used a qualitative method with a case study type. This study focused on one case: the caregiver who experienced burnout in serving students. The results showed that burnout in foster care could be handled in several ways: ruhul jihad, guardianship mentoring, Knowledge sharing and caregiver advice. The research implies that foster carers must have innovation and creativity in dealing with foster children so that foster carers experience satisfaction in serving students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) in science education in secondary schools and its impact on students' motivation and understanding of the material. The research employs a qualitative approach to examine how AR technology is utilized in science classrooms and how it affects student engagement and learning outcomes. Data were collected through interviews with science teachers and students, as well as observations of AR implementation in the classroom. The findings indicate that the use of AR significantly enhances the conceptual visualization of science content, improves interactivity, and deepens students' understanding. Additionally, the technology motivates students to engage more actively in learning and increases their interest in the subject. This study contributes to educational literature by demonstrating how AR technology can be effectively applied to create more engaging and relevant learning experiences in secondary schools.

Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of implementing a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) at universities. This research stems from the need to overcome the challenges of accessibility, flexibility and efficiency in an increasingly digital learning process. Using a qualitative approach and case studies, data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations at several university institutions implementing cloud-based LMS. The research results show that this system significantly improves real-time access to learning materials, allows flexibility in the teaching and learning process, and increases administrative efficiency and interaction between lecturers and students. However, this research also faces several limitations and challenges. One of the main challenges is resistance to change among lecturers and students who have yet to become familiar with cloud technology and limited technological infrastructure in some institutions, which hinders optimal implementation. Additionally, although the results show significant benefits, this research is limited to a limited number of institutions. It needs to include a long-term analysis of the impact of cloud-based LMS on educational quality and student satisfaction. These findings show that cloud-based LMS strengthens educational management and creates a more responsive and adaptive learning environment. This research provides a strong justification for the adoption of cloud technology at universities and provides a basis for further research into its long-term impact.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character in the era of globalization, marked by the rapid flow of information and technological developments, which, on the one hand, open wider access to knowledge but, on the other hand, pose a threat to the morality of the younger generation. This study aims to examine the relevance of PAI in strengthening students' faith, morality, and social values by examining social facts, international research findings, academic literature, and theoretical arguments. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies with content analysis of scientific journals, global institution reports, and Islamic education literature analyzed thematically. The results show that PAI plays a central role in instilling religious, tolerant, and humanistic character through value-based learning, habituation of worship, and teacher role models, with effectiveness greatly influenced by adaptive and contextual implementation strategies. These findings align with Lickona's character education theory and Bandura's social learning theory, and emphasize the urgency of strengthening an innovative, integrative, and multicultural PAI curriculum through collaboration between schools, families, and the community..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the essence of the quality of educational services in Islamic elementary schools. The method and type of data collection in this research is a research library by collecting books, journals and the results of previous studies that support the research theme. The concept of quality education refers to policies, teaching and learning processes, curriculum, infrastructure and educational staff. This quality must refer to the achievement of progress based on planned changes. There are two strategies for quality educators, namely academy-oriented education to provide a minimal basis in the course of education required by the demands of the times and improve the quality of education that is oriented towards life skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of teachers from traditional Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in implementing Islamic values in public educational institutions. The main focus of this study is how teachers from Islamic boarding schools are able to instill Islamic values in educational environments that are not entirely based on religion. The research method used was a qualitative case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of teachers from Islamic boarding schools who teach in public schools. The results show that the strategies used include integrating Islamic values into learning, exemplary behavior, instilling Islamic morals, and a personal approach to students. Teachers from Islamic boarding schools play a crucial role as moral and spiritual agents in a heterogeneous school environment. The implications of this study indicate that the religious competence and character of Islamic boarding school teachers can strengthen character education in public institutions and serve as models for the application of religious moderation in educational practice. This study recommends collaborative training between public institutions and Islamic boarding schools to enrich inclusive and contextual Islamic values-based educational strategies.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing symptoms of individualism in educational environments that threaten the values of togetherness, empathy, and social solidarity of students, especially in the context of a multicultural society. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is presented as a value instrument to respond to this phenomenon through a Value-Based Education approach that emphasizes the integration of values, character, and learning experiences. The focus of this research is to describe the process of integrating Islamic values in reducing individualism and shaping the social character of students in a multicultural environment. This research uses a case study method conducted at the Islamic Book Deliberation Institute of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School in the Al-Hasyimiyah region. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of Value-Based Education through the stages of clustering individualism, planning individualism, applying approach, and approach evaluation successfully reduced the level of individualism of students from an egoistic orientation to social empathy. Internalization of multicultural Islamic values is implemented through four dimensions, namely curriculum integration, explicit teaching, social project-based learning, and the formation of an inclusive school culture. The transformation of student character is evident in the change in attitude from apathetic to participatory and from self-orientation to social orientation. The implications of this research confirm that Value Based Education is not only effective as a pedagogical approach, but also strategic in building collective awareness, empathetic character, and social resilience amidst the current of individualism in a multicultural society.

Abstract

This paper describes the efforts of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in increasing teacher professionalism in the digital era through the Kurt Lewin model of change management. A digital era is a form of change, and for this reason, teachers who can also adapt to existing changes are needed. One of the competencies that must be possessed by the teachers is the ability to use ICT. Lewin's change management model identified three stages toward change: unfreeze, change, and refreeze. The analogy of these stages is the process of ice blocks to be reformed as desired; it needs to be melted first (unfreeze), then put into molds according to the desired shape (change) and refrozen (refreeze) into different blocks. The researcher conducted interviews with several informants at MI Mambaul Ulum to obtain valid and accountable data using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out through data collection, data condensation, data display, and data verification/conclusion.The research results obtained are first, the forms of the unfreeze stages at MI Mambaul Ulum, namely needs analysis, implementing EDM and RKAM, comparative studies and forming the structure of the madrasah. Second, the forms of the change stages at MI Mambaul Ulum are providing opportunities for further study, training, preparation learning tools, micro and peer teaching, MoU, and curriculum change. Third, the forms of refreeze at MI Mambaul Ulum are a culture of quality, supervision and giving rewards and punishments. With this change management, it is expected that teachers at MI Mambaul Ulum can achieve indicators of teacher professionalism in the digital era.
