Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of emotional leadership in educational decision-making and improving the quality of learning at MA Miftahul Ulum Banyuanyar Lor, Probolinggo Regency. This study was chosen by considering the socio-economic diversity of students that can affect the learning process at the madrasah. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, where data was collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, three educators, two students, and two parents of students. Observations were also conducted to directly see the emotional interactions that occur in the educational process. The results of the study indicate that the application of emotional leadership, based on the theory of emotional intelligence by Goleman and Salovey, has been shown to improve the quality of learning. Leaders who are able to manage emotions and show empathy succeed in creating an atmosphere that supports learning, motivates educators, and increases students' enthusiasm for learning. However, challenges related to students' socio-economic conditions that affect their emotional conditions remain an important concern in educational management. In conclusion, the emotional leadership that is applied has had a positive impact on the quality of education. Therefore, it is important to continue to develop emotional intelligence at the educational leadership level in order to improve the quality of learning at the madrasah.

Abstract

This study explores the transformation of organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions, with a specific focus on developing a quality-oriented learning environment aimed at enhancing both academic performance and character formation. Employing a qualitative approach through an ethnographic case study design, the research was conducted between 2024 and 2025. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight key informants, six months of participatory observation, and analysis of institutional documents. Findings reveal that a tauhid-based cultural transformation successfully fostered a high-quality learning ecosystem through the synergy of three fundamental dimensions: the internalization of spiritual values as a foundation for strategic decision-making, transformational leadership that cultivates a shared vision and empowers stakeholders, and the integration of constructivist pedagogy through project- and inquiry-based learning models. Character development outcomes were equally notable, reflected in reduced disciplinary violations, improved consistency in religious practices, and heightened social empathy among students. This study contributes theoretically by introducing the concept of a Tauhid-Based Quality Learning Environment (TQLE)—a holistic framework that harmonizes academic excellence with Islamic character formation. Practically, it offers an implementable model for Islamic educational institutions seeking to embed spiritual values into sustainable quality education practices.

Abstract

AbstractThis article presents the role of STIFIn method as an intelligence machine for enhancing children's intelligence potential as learning innovation in pesantren. This method is a new learning innovation, developed by pesantren to find genetic potential or intelligence machine that exists in each santri through STIFIn test by scanning on the ten fingers. Strokes or fingerprint data are processed by a computer application to determine the hemisphere and dominant brain layer, and those are; Sensing, thinking, intuiting, feeling and instinct. By that, studies learning style can be found, so it is easy for enhancing children's intelligence in pesantren. This study adopts a qualitative research approach and uses a case study design with a multi-site approach. The study show that the strategiys carried out by educators at the three pesantren for enhancing santri intelligence potential through the STIFIn intelligence engine can be mapped as follows: my rival is my teacher, road to victory, the power of dream, a tribute to other, one step closer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan potensi kecerdasan anak melalui metode STIFIn pada tiga pondok pesantren adalah; my rival is my teacher, road to victory, the power of dream, a tribute to other, one step closer. How to Cite: Baharun, H., Adhimiy, S. Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of implementing a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) at universities. This research stems from the need to overcome the challenges of accessibility, flexibility and efficiency in an increasingly digital learning process. Using a qualitative approach and case studies, data was collected through in-depth interviews and observations at several university institutions implementing cloud-based LMS. The research results show that this system significantly improves real-time access to learning materials, allows flexibility in the teaching and learning process, and increases administrative efficiency and interaction between lecturers and students. However, this research also faces several limitations and challenges. One of the main challenges is resistance to change among lecturers and students who have yet to become familiar with cloud technology and limited technological infrastructure in some institutions, which hinders optimal implementation. Additionally, although the results show significant benefits, this research is limited to a limited number of institutions. It needs to include a long-term analysis of the impact of cloud-based LMS on educational quality and student satisfaction. These findings show that cloud-based LMS strengthens educational management and creates a more responsive and adaptive learning environment. This research provides a strong justification for the adoption of cloud technology at universities and provides a basis for further research into its long-term impact.
