Abstract

The quality assurance requirement of academic qualification to lecturers is gaining more and more eminent dynamics in the dynamics of higher education in Indonesia. The research will focus on the definition of pressure on the qualification of education and how the same can affect the mental health of lecturers and what the schools can do to balance the quality and their mental health. A qualitative approach was used to collect data in which a case study method was utilized. In-depth interviews, observation and documentation were used to gather the data. The findings of the research reveal that the stress of persisting to be productive in the writing industry, publication of scientific articles and higher level studies is likely to cause an endless cycle of academic anxiety. The institutional and social expectations are usually too much to bear and can lead to emotional burnout, loss of self-confidence and lack of motivation to work. This pressure appears not only as an administrative burden but also as an existential burden that threatens lecturers' mental balance and professionalism. Nevertheless, universities have taken strategic steps by strengthening the role of internal institutional units that control academic quality, as well as full support from university leaders through affirmative policies and tuition assistance. Another solution developed is an academic mentoring program and training to help lecturers upgrade their skills and increase their psychological resilience. This research confirms that higher education quality assurance relies not only on academic achievement but also on the balanced mental health of lecturers.

Abstract

This research presents about college strategy based on pesantren in realizing the interconnection of religion and science in Sekolah Tinggi Tekhnologi dan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. Interconnection of religion and science as a concept that offers for the relationship between discipline of science of religion and general science. The estuary of the interconnection of religion and science is to unite and make a connection between religious education and science. This research uses qualitative approach of case study type. The results show that; 1) The interconnection strategy of religion and science conducted by Sekolah Tinggi Tekhnologi (STT) Nurul Jadid and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIKes) Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo include; internal and external environment analysis, vision and mission determination, mindset change, curriculum development with integration pattern, strengthening of human resource quality, formation of religious culture. 2) the impact of the interconnection of religion and science is; the inclusive attitude in understanding the development of science and religion, has a global perspective, the achievement of the vision and mission of the institution as the leader of the vision and mission of pesantren.

Abstract

AbstractReading is an important activity in everyday life and must be mastered by children from an early age. However, many children still cannot read, especially in one of the madrasah ibtidaiyah in Probolinggo Regency, East Java which is the location of this research. This study aims to analyze the teacher's strategy in overcoming the reading problem of dyslexic children with technical guidance. This study used a phenomenological approach, where researchers try to understand the phenomena in the field through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the teacher's strategy in overcoming the reading problem of dyslexic children through Technical Guidance was carried out through preparation of technical assistance, implementation of technical assistance, and evaluation of technical assistance. This research has implications for the importance of the teacher's understanding of student learning characteristics from an early age so that teachers can find out the students’ various problems so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally.Keywords: technical assistance, children’s dyslexia, madrasah ibtidaiyah. AbstrakMembaca merupakan kegiatan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan harus dikuasai oleh anak-anak sejak dini, namun masih banyak anak-anak yang belum bisa membaca, terutama di salah satu madrasah ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur yang menjadi lokasi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang strategi guru dalam mengatasi masalah membaca anak disleksia dengan bimbingan teknis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis, di mana peneliti mencoba memahami fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara bertahap, mulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru dalam mengatasi masalah membaca anak disleksia melalui Bimbingan Teknis yang dilakukan dengan penyusunan bantuan teknis, pelaksanaan bantuan teknis, dan evaluasi bantuan teknis. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya pemahaman guru terhadap karakteristik belajar siswa sejak dini, sehingga guru dapat mengetahui berbagai permasalahan yang akan dihadapi oleh siswa, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara optimal.Kata Kunci: bimbingan teknis, anak-anak disleksia, madrasah ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors that contribute to improving the quality of Islamic elementary schools’ performance in Probolinggo Regency, East Java, Indonesia. This is field research using the descriptive analysis method. Data was obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data was processed and analyzed through the IE, IFE, and EFE matrices. The results of this study indicate that the internal factors of three Madrasah Ibtidaiyah are powerful and can overcome their weaknesses in improving the quality of digital-based madrasa performance. In addition, the three Madrasah Ibtidaiyah have relatively high opportunities to overcome challenges and is very responsive in improving the quality of digital-based madrasa performance. Furthermore, alternative strategies are formulated through SWOT analysis to improve the performance quality of digital-based madrasah by implementing intensive strategies through market penetration and product development. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can penetrate the market more proactively using the IDN Network PortDi (Digital Portal) in carrying out digital-based madrasa performance. The research also suggests that the product development (madrasa’s administration and finance) can increase the professionalism of education staff in digital-based madrasah performance.Keywords: digital madrasa, performance, SWOT, internal and external analysis.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan mutu kinerja Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis melalui matriks IE, IFE, dan EFE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan faktor internal dari ketiga Madrasah Ibtidaiyah sangat kuat dan dapat mengatasi kelemahannya dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja madrasah berbasis digital. Selain itu, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah tersebut memiliki peluang yang cukup tinggi untuk mengatasi tantangan dan sangat tanggap dalam mengatasi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja madrasah berbasis digital. Selanjutnya, alternatif strategi dirumuskan melalui analisis SWOT untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja madrasah berbasis digital dengan menerapkan strategi intensif melalui penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah tersebut dapat melakukan penetrasi pasar dengan lebih proaktif menggunakan PorDi (Portal Digital) Jaringan IDN dalam melaksanakan kinerja madrasah ibtidaiyah berbasis digital. Pengembangan produk (administrasi madrasah, keuangan madrasah) dapat meningkatkan profesionalitas tenaga kependidikan dalam kinerja madrasah berbasis digital.Kata kunci: madrasah digital, kinerja, SWOT, analisis internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of virtual tours as a form of transparency in school facilities and their role in building institutional accountability and stakeholder trust. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for facilities and infrastructure, teachers, public relations staff, and parents of students, along with observations of the content of the school's virtual tours. Data analysis was conducted thematically through a process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that virtual tours are interpreted as a practice of openness that displays the condition of school facilities visually, as they are, and easily accessible to the public. Visual transparency serves to reduce information gaps, strengthen perceptions of honesty, and build parental trust from the initial stage of interaction. Furthermore, virtual tours contribute to strengthening school relations with stakeholders and encouraging improvements in internal facility governance. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of using digital technology as an instrument of transparency and accountability in educational management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the use of Cognitive AI in predicting changes in public behavior in the background of public relations management in schools, especially in improving the effectiveness of data-based communication and decision-making strategies. Through this approach, it is hoped that schools will be able to master the response patterns of school residents more accurately, in routine situations when communication crises occur. The research method used is qualitative in the form of a case study, involving in-depth interviews, directed observations, and document analysis to thoroughly explore the process of implementing Cognitive AI and its impact on school communication management patterns. The results indicate that the use of Cognitive AI can recognize changing trends in public opinion, improve the accuracy of PR messages, and help schools design more responsive and personalized communication strategies. After all, the application of technology also strengthens the school's relationship with publications through a more productive and sustainable understanding of behavior. The implications of this study confirm that the integration of Cognitive AI not only improves the effectiveness of public relations management, but also becomes the basis for innovation in designing adaptive and sustainable educational communication.

Abstract

In an increasingly multicultural society, education faces the challenge of fostering not only intellectual competence but also ethical awareness, empathy, and moral responsibility among students. This study aims to explore how transformative religious pedagogy can foster ethical awareness in a diverse student population. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with faculty and student leaders, classroom observations, and analysis of institutional documents. The research findings reveal three key mechanisms: dialogic faith, which fosters reflective ethical transformation; reflective learning, which nurtures moral awareness through discussion, case analysis, and guided contemplation; and structured multicultural encounters, which strengthen compassionate identity and social responsibility. This study contributes a practical and conceptual model that integrates dialogic, reflective, and intercultural pedagogical approaches in religious education. The implications suggest that educators should implement structured opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and intercultural engagement to foster holistic moral development, bridging theoretical knowledge with ethical practice across diverse educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the use of the pedatren application system as a response to the modernization of the Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school, Paiton, Probolinggo in improving the quality of its services. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The data collection technique is done through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis begins with data presentation, data reduction and ends with concluding. The results showed that the Pedatren application system was able to answer the challenges of modernizing Islamic boarding schools and the complexity of community demands during competition between educational institutions, through the provision of services regarding the identity of the students, the number of students, the development of the students' learning process, santri licensing system and payments made digitally through a virtual account.

Abstract

This research focuses on the forms of gender discrimination that occur in the leadership of student organizations and their impact on female students' self-efficacy. It aims to identify and analyze the various forms of discrimination experienced by female students and their influence on their confidence and participation in organizations. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. The results showed that there are four significant forms of gender discrimination: the lack of representation of women in leadership positions, harmful gender stereotypes, the neglect of women's voices in decision-making, and the existence of gender-based violence and bullying. The implications of this study highlight the need for more inclusive policies and support for female students in the school environment to overcome gender discrimination issues and increase their self-efficacy in leadership. This research is expected to be a reference for schools and stakeholders in formulating more effective strategies to create gender equality in student organizations.

Abstract

Digital transformation in teacher career management has become an urgent need with the rapid development of information technology. In the face of globalization challenges, technological adaptation in education, particularly in managing teacher careers, is crucial for enhancing the quality and professionalism of educators. This article aims to analyze the implementation of digital tools in teacher career management at MA Nurul Jadid, focusing on the use of e-portfolios, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Digital Personnel Information Systems. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques of interviews and documentation, as well as thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the application of digital tools improves career management efficiency, accelerates performance evaluation, and supports data-driven career planning. Despite challenges in digital literacy and infrastructure, the use of technology successfully strengthens teacher professionalism. In conclusion, digital transformation plays a significant role in teacher career development, with recommendations to enhance digital training and improve supporting infrastructure. Future research may explore the psychological and motivational factors influencing teachers' adoption of technology.
