Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the world's economic and social crisis. The implementation of Social Distancing causes a fundamental change in the community's social behavior and a decrease in the level of the economy due to restrictions on mobility and economic activities. Difficulties from the government and industry to rise must be encouraged by initiatives and breakthroughs from the community to grow together with the emergence of social solidarity. Starting from this sense of empathy and concern, this paper analyzes the importance of developing social entrepreneurship and its supporting elements, namely altruism and social capital or trust, in realizing sustainable economic goals in overcoming the current social and economic problems. Using a literature review approach with content and comparative analysis approach, this article on the perspective of social entrepreneurship will touch on the paradigm of classical/conventional capitalist economic theory, which has the opportunity to be perfected by Islamic Economics. It is time for the economy to prioritize a socially oriented approach rather than a money-oriented one. So it is hoped that it will foster a sense of empathy and spread kindness which is a reflection of Islamic religious values, namely the principle of justice and the benefit of the people, as the ultimate goal to go to Falah (the glory of life in this world and the hereafter).

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a comprehensive control management and quality control system in the seasoning production process, focusing specifically on a menu-specific seasoning variant (MSS). The methodology encompassed various stages including material acceptance, sieving, mixing, and final packaging, integrated with stringent control measures such as equipment and facility cleaning, material separation, and machine maintenance. Quality control tests conducted included sodium chloride content, pH analysis, seal strength, and bubble tests. Results indicate that these systematic processes significantly enhance product quality by ensuring compliance with predefined quality standards. The implications of this study suggest that rigorous process oversight and detailed quality assessments can markedly improve the reliability and safety of food seasoning products, providing a framework for industry-wide best practices. Highlights: Process Management: Systematic control measures, including equipment and facility cleaning, ensure a contamination-free production environment. Quality Control: Rigorous testing, including sodium chloride content and pH analysis, guarantees that the products meet established quality and safety standards. Abstract

The process of translating cultural terms is a challenging task that translators will face. This is because there is a possibility when a word or situation is not recognized in the target language. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of cultural vocabulary in the movie “Aruna dan Lidahnya”. The data is categorized using the padan method then continued with the sorting technique. Based on the results of the research data, 49 cultural vocabulary data were found which were categorized into 4 types. Material culture which includes food and place is the dominant type of vocabulary with a total of 29 data and a percentage of 61.70%. The form of cultural vocabulary in the material culture domain that appears a lot is food with a total of 25 data because the film focuses on the culinary. For the type of organization which includes religious and social organizations, there are 7 data with a percentage of 14.89%. For the type of gesture there are 6 data with a percentage of 12.76%. For socio-cultural types which include greetings, kinship and swearing, there are 5 data with a percentage of 10.63%. Literal translation and cultural equivalence procedures are used by the translator when the target language has the equivalent of the source language. Meanwhile, other procedures such as modulation, addition, transference, and couplet are used when the translator cannot find the equivalent in the target language.

Abstract

The aim of the research is the implementation of Sharia-based BUMDes in Kalatiri Village, Burau District, East Luwu Regency. Want to review and change the conventional system into a Sharia-based BUMDes system. And the public gets certainty of course about the contracts that will be made regarding savings and loans. The obstacles faced are the lack of public knowledge regarding financial language, financial reporting uses manual calculations. SThe solution that will be carried out in this activity is to use the method used in solving problems, namely the survey method and direct application of murabahah contracts and mudharabah contracts to solve existing problems which are then continued with research. After that, an evaluation was carried out to determine the level of success achieved by sharia-based BUMDes by reviewing understanding of Financial Reports, Islamic Economic Contracts, as well as the growth and development of BUMDes businesses.

Abstract

This research was conducted to explain school policies in implementing moral education for students at SDN 10 Sungai Pasak, East Pariaman District. Through qualitative field study techniques, data were obtained by observation and interviews, data processing techniques by examining data, studying data in depth and drawing conclusions, data analysis techniques by adjusting the statements put forward by respondents to the problems studied. The results of the research that the authors got were the activities that the school carried out in implementing moral education for students at SDN 10 Sungai Pasak, East Pariaman District, that all students participated in all activities carried out by the school to foster student morals. The school's actions towards students who commit violations at SDN 10 Sungai Pasak, East Pariaman District are calling students who have problems, asking students' habits, giving directions, giving advice, giving educational punishments, and calling Siawa's parents. Factors supporting policy makers in implementing moral education are the existence of qualified teachers, the existence of extracurricular activities for Islamic religious education outside school hours and the existence of competitions. Factors hindering policy makers in implementing moral education are environmental factors where students live, the magnitude of the influence of technology, the lack of learning time and the lack of religious books as student reading.

Abstract

Since the new order era, the Indonesian education curriculum has undergone eight revisions, from the 1968 curriculum to the most recent, the Merdeka Curriculum. Each curriculum has its unique characteristics, including the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum which are currently being implemented. Madrasas are the subject and aim of the research, namely explaining the dynamics of madrasa curriculum development in 2013-2023. Using a qualitative approach with a type of literature review, data sources from relevant books and journal articles, and data analysis using condensation, presentation and conclusion. The results of the research show that in the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum there are certainly developments in terms of curriculum based on the continued development of science and technology. The 2013 curriculum is designed to improve character education, increase locally-focused education, and create a fun and friendly educational environment. The independent learning program is a flexible program focusing on essential material, character development and student abilities. The Islamic education subjects found in madrasas consist of four groups: Al-Qur’an Hadith, Fiqh, Aqidah Akhlak, and SKI, all of which are regulated by Minister of Religion regulations under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion.

Abstract

The community service program carried out in Sidoarjo Regency aims to help solve priority problems experienced by shoe MSME partners. There are two priority problems that must be resolved to empower partner MSMEs to improve the quality and quantity of their production, namely: (1) low quality and quantity of leather shoe brand labeling production, and (2) poor financial management. Methods to overcome the problem of low quality and quantity of brand labeling production are carried out through the application of semi-automatic leather embossing machines with electric energy and to overcome poor financial management through training and mentoring of financial management with a participatory approach. The results of this community service program are: (1) Electric energy semi-automatic leather embossing press machine, 2) a simple cash book. The conclusion of the results of the implementation of PKM activities that have been carried out with partners is that by increasing the quality and quantity of partner shoe brand labeling production with a magnitude of 30 times faster or (3000%) increase besides that the financial management of partner SMEs has been carried out properly through recording business financial flows using simple ledger.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to finds out the comparisons between internal and external factors that influence financial distress condition of Islamic Banks in Indonesia between 2008 and 2020 based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). Design/metholodology/approach – The analysis consists of two main elements. First element is the identification and selection of significant macroeconomic variables to determine the level of Islamic bank financial distress. Second element is implementation of ANN model and evaluation the model based on simulated prediction of Islamic Banks financial distress in 2008 and 2020. Findings – The result of this research shows that there is a quite difference between Islamic Banks financial distress in 2008 and 2020. Financial distress of Islamic Banks in 2020 shows better prediction with 99.39 per cent accuracy than financial distress of Islamic Banks in 2008 with 97.38 per cent accuracy.

Abstract

Calligraphy is an inseparable part of Islamic civilization. In the realm of Islamic history, calligraphy occupies a special position that is very special. Therefore, calligraphy is also referred to as the ancestor of traditional Islamic visual arts. The dynamics of growth are also extraordinary. In the context of Islamic history in Indonesia, art in the form of calligraphy marks the entry of Islam in Indonesia with the discovery of archaeological data in the form of tombstones. On the one hand, calligraphy has an important role in the development of the history of civilization. But on the other hand, along with the development of calligraphy itself which then makes animals and humans as the object triggers the emergence of debate and conflict in the body of Muslims. Indeed, the issue of iconoclasm among Muslim artists is often still a wedge. Because indeed the verses in the Koran and the information from the hadith never straightforwardly explain the principles of aesthetics in artistic expression. Regardless of the debates and conflicts that occur, calligraphy is an important vehicle as a field of expression of the souls of Muslim artists as long as these artistic expressions do not deviate or contradict Islamic law which includes aspects of morality, faith, and philosophy of human life.

Abstract

This paper tries to look at traditional medicine in an anthropological perspective. Based on the facts that occur in the community, as a whole it can be said that the traditional medical system is a socio-cultural phenomenon. The practice of traditional medicine is then also attracting the attention of anthropologists to examine more deeply about the traditional treatment system from the perspective of local communities. The field of anthropology calls it the term ethnomedicine, which refers to traditional medical practices related to cultural interpretations of health, illness, illness, ways of handling and healing practices.
