As time goes by, we cannot deny that technological developments cannot be avoided anymore. Technological developments clearly make it easier for humans to communicate and reach information with a wide range. The transition of mechanical and analog technology to digital technology is a sign that we are in the digital era, this technological change then causes changes in human culture. One example of these changes can be seen in the way people think and act in everyday life. However, in line with the development of media technology, new criminal acts have emerged. This crime occurs on social media, for that we are required to have good media literacy skills in order to avoid and prevent criminal acts that might occur. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the media literacy abilities of students who are members of the Immedia community as an effort to prevent crime. For data validity, interviews were conducted with students in the Immedia community. The results of this study indicate that the level of student media literacy is practically very good and continues to increase.

Perempuan sejak lahir sudah disematkan dengan peran domestik yang akan diperankannya tidak jauh dari peran kasur, sumur dan dapur. Pada Film Enola Holmes Season 1 dan 2 membongkar peran domestik tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bahwa selain peran fitrah yang telah melekat pada perempuan tersebut, perempuan berhak memimpikan, mewujudkan dan melalukan perubahan untuk dirinya dan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode semiotika Roland Barthes. Film ini mempersuasi untuk lebih memperhatikan hak-hak perempuan, bukan hanya menjadi pemeran figuran tapi juga dapat menjadi pemeran public tanpa melupakan peran domestik.

This article aims to explore the cultural hegemony of the Karo people in building their tourism brand on Instagram. The type of research used in this article is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Through the analysis of content shared by the Karo community on Instagram, this study identifies patterns of dominance of Karo nature and culture images in efforts to promote their tourism destinations. The results of the study reveal that the cultural hegemony of the Karo people in building tourism brands on Instagram is based on three factors. These include the dominance of local culture representing the beauty of nature, culture, customs, and arts; the use of local language and terms; and the participation of the community in efforts to preserve the environment and utilize social media as a promotional tool as an impact of globalization and modernization in Karo tourism content on Instagram. Overall, this research provides deep insights into how the cultural hegemony of the Karo people influences the building of their tourism brand on Instagram.

Penelitian ini mengkaji Hombo Batu sebagai media penguatan moderasi beragama di Kepulauanan Nias. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan informan yang memahami tradisi hombo batu atau loncat batu di Pulau Nias, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis isi, membaca secara menyeluruh, melakukan transkrip data, analisis, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Nias mempercayai batu-batu megalitik tersebut memiliki roh. Akibatnya, masyarakat Nias tetap mengikuti dan mempraktekkan Tradisi Hombo Batu untuk menghormati arwah nenek moyang mereka yang pertama kali mengunjungi wilayah Nias. Adat Hombo Batu di Kota Bawomataluo bergantung pada sisi baik dari latihan keras yang mendorong setiap orang untuk terus menjadikan Tuhan sebagai yang utama dalam setiap pengharapan keselamatan dan pertolongan serta mensyukuri setiap anugerah Tuhan, sehingga melalui tradisi hombo ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat moderasi beragama.

Sepak bola di Indonesia bukan sekadar olahraga, tetapi juga fenomena budaya yang sarat makna. Salah satu makna yang terkandung dalam sepak bola Indonesia adalah nasionalisme. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi nasionalisme dalam sepak bola Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode studi dokumentasi data dala artikel ini diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, seperti teks lagu, chant suporter, pemberitaan media, dan visualisasi dalam pertandingan sepak bola. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa representasi nasionalisme dalam sepak bola Indonesia dapat dilihat dari beberapa aspek, yaitu penggunaan simbol-simbol nasional seperti bendera Merah Putih, Garuda Pancasila, dan lagu kebangsaan Indonesia dalam pertandingan sepak bola, suporter sepak bola dari berbagai daerah dan latar belakang bersatu untuk mendukung tim nasional Indonesia, dan prestasi tim nasional Indonesia dalam kancah internasional membangkitkan rasa bangga dan nasionalisme di kalangan masyarakat. Representasi nasionalisme dalam sepak bola Indonesia memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat rasa cinta tanah air dan persatuan bangsa. Sepak bola dapat menjadi alat pemersatu bangsa dan membangun identitas nasional yang kuat.

Indonesia is a large country that has residents with various religious and religious backgrounds. As a country with a society of various religions, of course the state will not be able to protect and fulfill all the dynamic needs of its people if there is no support or relationships from elements of the people themselves. So, this is where the government needs relations or partners who can work side by side in realizing peace in religion. In this case, the ulama are one of the government's working partners, so it is necessary to study the urgency of the relationship between the ulama and the government in realizing the development of religious diversity in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods with a schematic sociology approach. The data sources come from various literature, which is then analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research conclude: 1) The relationship between ulama and the Indonesian government in realizing peace is very necessary because society in general is close to ulama so that when ulama unite with the government then the government's call is the ulama's call, what is ordered by the government will be more easily obeyed by the community both in terms of tolerance in religion and in other matters. 2) The development of religious diversity in Indonesia has experienced positive developments, because every religious adherent in Indonesia has provided tolerance for each community, both for the community itself and towards communities of other religions.

Artikel ini membahas konstruksi komunikasi dalam Gerakan Istiqomah Sedekah (GIS) sebagai strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan Musaddiq di Kota Medan. Dalam konteks ini, teori konstruktivisme menjadi landasan untuk memahami bagaimana pesan-pesan GIS dibangun dan dipahami oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dan fenomenologis yang mengacu pada teori media ekologi. Hasil temuan memaparkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan tentang sedekah dikalangan masyarakat Kota Medan. Oleh karena itu, konstruksi komunikasi GIS dalam upaya meningkatkan musaddiq di Kota Medan adalah menggunakan pesan-pesan komunikasi yang menekankan nilai-nilai keagamaan, sosial, dan kemanusiaan dari GIS memiliki resonansi yang kuat di kalangan masyarakat. Pesan-pesan yang menekankan keberlanjutan, transparansi, dan dampak positif dari sedekah juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam gerakan tersebut.

The rapid development of internet technology, anyone can use it, anywhere and anytime without knowing boundaries. The development of the internet can also trigger emergence of various new social media, such as TikTok. TikTok itself is a social media platform that focuses on being a forum for video creator content communities, where each user can share their experiences and information through videos of a certain duration. In this study, the marketing mix theory and Uses and Gratification theory are used, which with these two theories will solve the problem of using TikTok in increasing brand awareness. The research method used is qualitative research, data obtained by interview and observation. From the results of research that has been researched, the TikTok Mie Gacoan account really utilizes the use of the TikTok application well and also in the application of marketing communications with the promotional mix is quite efficient and also effective for increasing brand awareness of the Mie Gacoan brand itself.

This research aims to find out how effective the use of Instagram social media is i building Disporaprovsu image. The theories used in this research are new media theory, goverment public relations, effectiveness. New media thoery and social media. The subjects of this research are Dispora Public Relations staff who manage Disporaprovsu Instagram and 5 Disporaprovsu Instagram followers. With research dates starting from 03 March 2022 – 27 May 2022. The method used in this reseach is the Qualitative Method with in-depth Interviews. The technical analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this reseacrh show that the effectiveness of Instagram media users is deep The Public Relations image of the North Sumatera Utara Province Dispora is very good, the role of the North Sumatera Province Dispora Public Relations is very good, Plus there are also social media such as Instagram. Making it easier for people to get the latest services and information and news that is currently hot, especially, in the North Sumatera Province area. The dimensions used to measure it’s effectiveness are by conducting interviews using qualitative methods and using new theory media related to research means that the use of Instagram social media by Public Relations of Dispora @Disporasumut.id as a medium for disseminating information to the public is effective The Public Relations Division as manager of @Disporasumut.id can be said quality photos and videos. So the goal of improving the image thourgh the use of Instagram social media was achieved.
