Abstract

This research aims to analyze the leadership strategies of Tuan Guru in implementing the Ma’had curriculum in Ma’had Darul Qur’an Wal-Hadith Nahdlatul Wathan East Lombok and Ma’had Darul Hikmah Kediri West Lombok. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study type and a multicase design. To obtain research data, researchers used observation, interviews and documentation methods. Checking the validity of the data using data triangulation and method triangulation. The research results show that first, the ma’had curriculum planning process includes planning objectives, content/teaching materials/materials, methods, media and evaluation by involving administrators, teachers and curriculum staff. This curriculum planning aims at transformative leadership and charismatic leadership. Second, the implementation of the ma’had curriculum includes learning methods (sorogan, bandongan and discussion methods), implementation of the contents/study materials of the yellow book (turats) and evaluation. The implementation of this curriculum combines the methods of the Salafi curriculum model and the integrated curriculum model which leads to a moderated curriculum model that strengthens the social reconstruction curriculum. And third, the implication of the Tuan Guru leadership strategy is to have graduates who master the yellow book and have a deep understanding of Islam, mahasantri become Islamic cadres and are able to contribute positively to Islamic educational institutions and society, mahasantri are able to apply Islamic teachings and become uswatun hasanah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model konstruk dan struktural kinerja kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi sumbangan terhadap pengukuran kinerja kepala sekolah di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto dengan populasi guru dan kepala sekolah dasar di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Sampel sebanyak 1239 guru dan 208 kepala sekolah dasar dipilih secara acak. Data guru dan kepala sekolah dianalisis dengan Second-Order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (Second-Order CFA) secara terpisah dan divalidasi silang dengan multi-sample CFA. Pengujian kecocokan model dilakukan menggunakan χ2 Satorra-Bentler dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, Comparative Goodness of Fit Index (CFI), dan Root Mean Square Error Approximation (RMSAE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut. 1) Kinerja kepala sekolah mempunyai dimensi kepemimpinan, manajemen, dan kepribadian. 2) Berdasarkan data kepala sekolah, koefisien jalur dari dimensi dan muatan faktor dari indikator yang ada dalam model cukup tinggi, bernilai positif, dan signifikan. 3) Hasil validasi silang model konstruk kinerja kepala sekolah menggunakan data guru dan data kepala sekolah menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan model.Kata kunci: model konstruk, persamaan pengukuran, persamaan struktural, kinerja kepala sekolah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang sering disebut pula dengan standard setting atau cut of score, berbasis peserta peserta didik untuk mata pelajaran matematika SMP di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta antarwaktu. Penelitian ini merupakan studi longitudinal selama 3 tahun yaitu tahun 2010, 2011, dan 2012. Metode pengumpulan data yakni dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data statistik ujian akhir yang akan ditentukan KKM-nya dan Focus Group Discussion(FGD) untuk menentukan kelompok master dan kelompoknonmaster. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan metode grup kontras. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KKM mata pelajaran matematika di Provinsi DI Yogyakarta tahun 2010 sebesar 6,75, tahun 2011 mengalami penurunan sebesar 0,05 menjadi 6,70 dan tahun 2012 naik lagi menjadi 6,90 (untuk skala 0-10).Kata kunci: KKM (standard setting atau cut of score), mata pelajaran matematika SMP______________________________________________________________DETERMINING THE CUT OF SCORE BASED ON THE TEST PARTICIPANTSAbstract This study aims to determine the minimum completeness criteria which  is often called the standard setting or the cut of a score, based on test participants for mathematics lesson in Yogyakarta province. This study is a longitudinal study using data for 3 years ie 2010, 2011, and 2012. The data were collected through documentation to get the statiatics data of national final examination that would be determined its minimum completness creteria and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to determine master and non master groups. The data were analyzed quantitatively by the method of contrasting group. The results showed that cut of score in mathematics lesson in Yogyakarta province in 2010 was at 6.75, but decreased by 0.05 to 6.7 in 2011 and rose again in 2012 to 6.9 (for a 0-10 scale).Keywords: standard setting or the cut of the score, junior school mathematics lesson

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (a) mengembangkan sistem tes diagnostik kesulitan belajar kompetensi dasar kejuruan, dan (b) mengetahui kinerja sistem tes diagnostik kesulitan belajar kompetensi dasar kejuruan siswa SMK yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tahun kedua dari tiga tahun yang direncanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development perangkat lunak. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model modifikasi linear sequential yang disebut juga sebagai classic life cycle atau model waterfall yang memiliki 4 langkah. Analisis kebutuhan sistem dan perancangan sistem telah dilakukan pada tahun pertama. Implementasi dan validasi program dilakukan pada tahun kedua. Validasi sistem dilakukan dengan angket yang diberikan kepada 35 guru SMK untuk melihat aspek kinerja, rancangan, dan adaptabilitas sistem. Analisis data validasi dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif. Langkah terakhir, evaluasi pemanfaatan sistem, akan dilaksanakan pada tahun ketiga. Sistem tes diagnostik kesulitan belajar kompetensi dasar kejuruan siswa SMK telah dikembangkan dengan arsitektur web client-server menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, HTML, dan Java dengan perangkat lunak pendukung web server Apache, MySQL, dan web browser Chrome. Sistem ini memiliki tiga kelompok pengguna, yaitu admin, guru, dan siswa. Hasil analisis aspek kinerja, rancangan, dan adaptabilitas sistem secara keseluruhan mempunyai rata-rata penilaian sebesar 3.57 dari skala 1–4, sehingga termasuk kategori sangat baik. Karena itu sistem yang telah dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada penelitian lebih lanjut pada tahun ketiga, yaitu evaluasi pemanfaatan sistem.Kata kunci: kompetensi dasar kejuruan,  tes diagnostik DEVELOPING DIAGNOSTIC TEST SYSTEM OF LEARNING DIFFICULTY OF BASIC VOCATIONAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLSAbstractThis research aimed to: (a) develop a diagnostic test system of basic vocational competency learning difficulties of Vocational High School students, and (b) determine the performance of the diagnostic test system. This study was the second year of a three year research plan. This research was a Software Research and Development. The development model used in this study was a modification of linear sequential model or known as life cycle or the classic waterfall model with 4 steps. Step 1, analysis of system requirements and system design, was done in the first year. Step 2, system implementation and validation, was conducted in the second year. The validation of the system was done by involving 35 teachers who were asked to complete a questionnaire to see performance, design, and adaptability of the system. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Step 3, the evaluation system utilization, will be held in the third year. The diagnostic test system of basic vocational competency learning difficulties of Vocational High School students has been developed using web client-server architecture, three programming languages (PHP, HTML, and Java), Apache web server, MySQL, and Chrome web browser. The system has three user groups, namely administrators, teachers, and students. The performance, design, and adaptability of the system as a whole have verage score of 3.57 on scale of  1 to 4 and categorized as a very good system. That is why the system can be used in further studies in the third year, i.e. evaluation of system utilization.Keywords:basic vocational competencies, diagnostic test

Abstract

The importance of exciting learning media cannot be ignored in education. This research aims to develop Android-based learning media to improve fourth-grade elementary school students’ vocabulary mastery. Besides, this also finds out the feasibility and effectiveness of the application. This learning media uses the ADDIE development model, which involves five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research results show that the application developed, called the LEVO App, can significantly improve students’ vocabulary mastery. Trials were carried out at several stages, including one-on-one, small group, and field trials, with student response results. Apart from that, the results of the pre-test and post-test show a significant increase in students’ vocabulary mastery after using this learning media. Validation by media experts and material experts also indicates that this application is very suitable for use as a learning media. Thus, it is hoped that developing Android-based learning media can be an effective and efficient solution for improving elementary school students’ English language skills.Keywords: ADDIE Model, LEVOApp, Vocabulary, Teaching Vocabulary

Abstract

The rise and growing prevalence of juvenile delinquency is a matter of concern for many parties. This study aims to establish a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire that can be deployed to assess the learning environment perceived by high school students. This research endeavor constitutes a developmental study, wherein the outcomes are a single survey instrument encompassing six variables, nineteen indicators, and forty questions. The data-collecting process involved the utilization of a Google Form across five schools in five districts, containing a total of 1615 participants. The analysis of expert data was conducted utilizing V. Aiken and field trials employing confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) Second Order. The findings of this study indicate that the diagnostic survey instrument used to assess the learning environment's impact on the mental health of high school students demonstrated validity, as evidenced by loading factor values exceeding the established minimal threshold. The reliability of the instrument remains insufficient. This survey can be utilized to detect adolescent persistent tendencies carried out by students or other school members that interfere with mental health: the emergence and significant raising of juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

The environmental conditions significantly influence human daily life, especially their reliance on natural resources such as land, water, and air. However, environmental degradation in Indonesia is increasing due to a lack of attention to environmental ethics, driven by materialistic views and economic incentives resulting in a global ecological crisis. The environment encompasses everything that affects the survival of humans and other creatures. Environmental ethics are crucial to maintaining the balance of nature. There are three theoretical perspectives on environmental ethics: anthropocentrism, biocentrism, and ecocentrism. The principles of environmental ethics include collective responsibility, care for nature, non-harm to other living beings, simple living, justice in resource management, democracy in environmental policy-making, and moral integrity. Implementing environmental ethics involves a friendly attitude towards the environment in every aspect of life. Human behavior towards the environment should reflect an awareness of collective responsibility for preserving nature, even though technological advancements tend to harm the environment. Concrete actions from all parties are needed to preserve and restore the environment.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mitra POKMAS Barokah Jaya Mandiri adalah harga pakan pellet yang mahal sehingga tidak dapat menutupi biaya budidayanya. Hal inipun pasti dirasakan juga oleh para ternak ikan. Mitra POKMAS ini bertempat di Kelurahan Landasan Ulin, Kecamatan Liang Anggang, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan dengan bidang fokus pengembangan di ternak ikan lele. Terdapat alternatif pakan ikan yang dapat dikembangbiakkan dan mengandung protein yang tinggi yaitu Maggot dari lalat Black Soldier Fly. Adanya pakan Maggot dapat mengurangi kebutuhan pakan ikan pellet sehingga pengeluaran dapat ditekan. Maggot merupakan predator dari sampah organik bahkan sisa makanannya bisa dijadikan pupuk organik. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, pemberian materi, pelatihan, pendampingan dalam budidaya Maggot, analisis stok pakan dan manajerialnya serta pengisian kuisioner kepuasan mitra terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Dilakukan pretes dan postes untuk mengetahui pengetahuan mitra tentang budidaya Maggot. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam proses budidaya Maggot sebagai pakan ikan, dan peningkatan manajerial mitra. Hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai proses budidaya Maggot meningkat sebesar sebesar 100% dikarenakan mitra belum mengenal dan mengetahui Maggot untuk pakan ikan. Selain itu, tersedia pakan Maggot bernutrisi tinggi yang dapat diperjualbelikan. Mitra sangat antusias dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan tingkat kepuasan “Sangat Puas”. Abstract. One of the problem by POKMAS Barokah Jaya Mandiri is the pellet price is so expensive. This must also be felt by fish farmers. This POKMAS is located in Landasan Ulin Village, Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan with a focus on catfish farming. There is an alternative fish feed that can be bred and contains high protein, namely Maggot from the Black Soldier Fly. Activities are carried out through socialization, providing materials, training, assistance in Maggot cultivation, analysis of feed stocks and their management, and filling out a partner satisfaction questionnaire regarding the implementation of activities. Pretests and posttests were carried out to determine partner knowledge about Maggot cultivation. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in partner skills in the process of cultivating Maggot as fish feed, and an increase in partner management. The results of the increase in knowledge and skills regarding the Maggot cultivation process increased by 100% because partners did not know and were not familiar with Maggot for fish feed. In addition, there is a high-nutrient Maggot feed that can be traded. Partners are very enthusiastic in carrying out this activity with a satisfaction level of "Very Satisfied".

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek Project-Based Learning (PjBL) merupakan pendekatan inovatif dalam proses belajar-mengajar yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan kompetensi abad ke-21 seperti kolaborasi, berpikir kritis, dan keterampilan komunikasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa sosialisasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek kepada guru-guru MA Bustanul Wa'izin NW Janggawana. Kegiatan ini meliputi pelatihan, workshop, dan pendampingan implementasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru mampu memahami konsep dasar PjBL merancang proyek pembelajaran, serta mengimplementasikannya di kelas. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang guru yang menjadi peserta kegiatan sosialisasi. Dari hasil kegiatan penelitian ini menunjukkan setelah dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi, pemahaman guru pemahaman terkait dengan pembelajaran berbasis project pada kurikulum merdeka menjadi meningkat. Dari hasil posttest yang dilakukan setelah kegiatan, menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dari sebelumnya dari pretest. Sekitar 80% guru mengaku memiliki pemahaman yang baik setelah mengikuti kegiatan. Selain itu, dengan pemahaman yang baik, 80% guru memiliki komitmen untuk dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis project di kelas mereka. Tentunya hal ini disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran mereka dan diwujudkan juga dalam bentuk RPP.

Abstract

Cosmetics are a form of preparation intended for the surface of the human body with the aim of fragrant, beautiful, cleansing and protecting the body from external exposure. The great public interest in the use of cosmetics has not been accompanied by a complete understanding of cosmetics. This outreach aims to increase public knowledge about cosmetics and dangerous cosmetics at Posyandu Zamrud. Counseling was held on Wednesday, February 2 2022 at Posyandu Zamrud. This counseling was carried out to 12 people in the community. As a result of this counseling, there was an increase in public understanding with the percentage in the pretest categories of not understanding and not understanding each at 50% to the category of not understanding with a percentage of 8.3% and the understanding category with a percentage of 91.7% in the posttest results.
