The education system is a method for directing the educational process. All aspects of learning must be regulated by the educational system. Because each country has a unique system, it is necessary to compare the education system in Indonesia to that of other countries in order to assess and evaluate it. This paper aims to explain and analyze differences in educational systems; and comparing the basic education curricula in Indonesia and Australia. This research is conceptual. Data collection methods are books, the internet, and journals. The study analysis was carried out by collecting and analyzing information about the education system in Indonesia and Australia. The results of the study show that: (1) Australia requires children to study for 10 years, while in Indonesia for 12 years, Australia holds a NAPLAN test and Indonesia holds a NE, and teacher qualifications must be undergraduate in Australia and Indonesia; (2) differences in the education system, among others, the level of material difficulty, assessment, rewards, learning atmosphere, teaching staff, education staff, and religious subjects; and (3) the curriculum in Indonesia has a relationship between education, customs, arts, and religions, meanwhile, the Australian curriculum is designed to support students to be successful, active, well-off and knowledgeable.

If a system is arranged and implemented clearly, correctly, systematically, and reported responsibly, it will simplify the users’ task. Therefore, the quality assurance system of education in primary schools is very important in accordance with existing procedures to maintain and advance the quality of education of a school. There needs to be an efficient, effective, and appropriate way to assure the quality of education in a school, namely primary schools. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the education quality assurance system at Bendosari SD N 2 (State Primary School 2), Sawit, Boyolali. The approach used in this research was a descriptive qualitative approach with case study design. This data collection technique was in the form of the results of observation activities, interview activities, questionnaire filling activities, and documentation activities. Sources of data in this study came from school residents such as: school committees, principals, teachers, students, parents of students, communities, and researchers. Data validity techniques to find the validity and validity of the data used data triangulation. Data analysis techniques used in this study were interactive qualitative data analysis by Miles and Huberman (2014) consisting of data reduction (summarizing data), data presentation (displaying data), and drawing conclusions from research. The results obtained in this study were to describe and explain that the quality assurance of education conducted by SD N 2 Bendosari, Sawit, Boyolali can be maintained properly and to improve the education quality assurance system in order to achieve a goal.

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa tentang konsep performance assessment pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia, (2) untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian kinerja (assessment performance) pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS dengan jumlah 80 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumen, tes dan angket. Kredibilitas data penelitian ini ditempuh melalui triangulasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa (1) pemahaman mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UNS tentang konsep performance assessment sangat baik, 90% dari mahasiswa dapat menjawab dengan benar, sedangkan 10% nya menjawab dengan kurang tepat, (2) kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun performance assessmen pada tahap perencanaan cukup baik, dengan rata-rata skor 75. This research aims to describe the impact of larning mathematics assisted by youtube media on the creative thinking skills of elementary school students during social distancing. The subject of this research were the teacher and 26 students from 5th grade of state primary school at Surakarta on the 2020/2021 academy year. The data collection technique in this research are interview, observation, questionnaires, and test. By using four indicators of creative thinking skills, the result showed that one of the four indicators was in the moderate category. This indicator is flexibility. Three of the four indicators are in the high category. This shows that learning mathematics assisted by youtube media has a good impact on the creative thinking skills of elementary school students during social distancing.

The purpose of this research is to explain the suitability between problem and concept of HOTS in question of social sciences semester 1 of grade fourth Elementary School Kerten 2 Surakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research uses thinking level and stimulus indicators. The results of this research shows that there is no conformity between hots concept and problem because the percentage of HOTS on social science questions only 9%. The primary data in this research is a document evaluate of the learning results of theme 1 to theme 5 social sciences grade fourth Elementary School Kerten 2 Surakarta. The results of this research is useful to improve teachers quality when make a question with cognitive levels to learners so they can make some levels on their assessements. In addition, this research is intend as an option to determine the criteria of the questions to improve the critical thinking of learners.

Abstract. The Purpose of this research are to know (1) The Strategic used by teacher to bulid character of students through scout extracurricular activities at SDN 04 Manisrejo, Madiun City (2) the obstacles in build character of students through scout extracurricular activities at SDN 04 Manisrejo, Madiun City (3) Efforts and Solutions to bulid character of students through scout extracurricular activities at SDN 04 Manisrejo, Madiun City. The Subjects were 37 students taken from grade 4 in SDN 04 Manisrejo, Madiun City. The methods used qualitative research. Data collected by interview, observation and triangulation. Analysis data technique used component analysis. The Results of this research are most of the students like scout extracurricular. Commonly when the students bored with the activities, more like running around and bothering friends but the teachers had methods to handle the situations that is among system. Among system poisoned of “Ing Ngarso Sing Tuladha”, “Ing Madya Mangun Karsa”, “Tut Wuri Handayani”.the students showed character in second week because there are 7 students who have not shown good character, so this solutions is teachers applying methods during scout extracurricular because during the research, researches find different behavior are getting better. This research aims to determine the discipline of learning fifth grade student at SDN Dukuhan Kerten No. 58 Surakarta. This research used a qualitative approach with the subject being the fifth grade students of SDN Dukuhan Kerten No. 58 Surakarta. In data collection, researchers used methods of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The techniques used in this study are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To the test validity of the data using triangulation method. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that the fifth grade students’ learning discipline SDN Dukuhan Kerten No. 58 Surakarta is good. This can be seen from the discipline students, among there; (1) students take online learning on time, (2) collect assignments according to the specified time, and (3) wearing uniforms when online learning takes place. The results showed discipline of learning had been implemented but was not maximal because of the obtacles : 1) limited smartphone, 2) availability of smartphone, 3) parental assistance, 4) parent’s attention to students, and 5) unstable internet network.

Quality of work-life is the employees’ feeling or perception of being comfortable with their work. The objective of the present study was to determine the quality of work-life, classroom management skill, and the relationship between the quality of work-life and classroom management skill to elementary school teachers. This study uses a quantitative-correlational approach. The research subjects were 29 teachers from Pambudi Luhur elementary school in Surakarta, consisting of 14 female and 15 male teachers. Data collection in this study used a rating scale. Data analysis using product moment formula with the SPSS version 12 for Windows. The resultsof the research show that there is a significant relationship (0.531) between the quality of work-life and classroom management skill of the elementary school teachers. This means that the higher the quality of work-life of the teacher's, the better skill of managing the classroom.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Pancasila contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa and to describe the internalization of the values of Pancasila and the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa in elementary schools and to find out the obstacles and solutions to internalizing the values of Pancasila based on local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa. The research will be carried out at SD Negeri 3 Ngantru, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency, East Java by using a form of qualitative research with the intention of describing the activities of implementing character values through local wisdom in these elementary schools and the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The results of the research that have been carried out are the values of Pancasila which are contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa starting from the first precept, namely the almighty deity where the art of Jaranan Turangga aims to give alms from the community to God Almighty by giving crops to people in need. . The second Pancasila value contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa, namely the emergence of a sense of tolerance, friendship, social care, an attitude of love for peace among humans and also the application of the fifth Pancasila precept, namely social justice for all Indonesian people. IMPLEMENTASI TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) DI PENDIDIKAN DASAR Sri - Marmoah

Total Quality Management is a procedural method used in improving the quality of education in schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of Total Quality Management in primary education. This research was conducted in five Girimarto Subdistrict clusters in the year 2018. The research samples were five elementary schools divided into five clusters. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques that are using questionnaires or questionnaires to determine the success criteria for applying TQM in education to principals and teachers. The results of the study showed maximum results. The average acquisition of questionnaire calculations for school principals is 97.00 with a very good category, while the questionnaire for teachers is 94.00 with a very good category. The overall average obtained is 95.50 with a very good category. If viewed from the overall average obtained, it can be concluded that the application of TQM in education in Girimarto Subdistrict is in very good criteria. Thus, the school is concerned about asking for more primary needs in the provision of educational assistance, so that schools produce quality output.
