Abstract

The purpose of research to describe the application of optimization programs empowerment fishing families in the district Wedung Demak on the field's Health, education, social, cultural and economic as well as describing its effectiveness in reducing poverty. Design research is a practical action (practical action research). The location of research is in the District Wedung Posdaya District of Demak. The primary resource is fishing families involved in target Posdaya, informal and non-formal community leaders. Collecting data by interview and observation. The validity of the data with confidence, perseverance, and honesty. Qualitative research data analysis with interactive model. The results showed empowerment fishing families with garbage bank program, early childhood parenting, family counseling aware of nutrition, marketing management training fish jerky products through packaging and product quality, assessed effectively empower families of fishermen. Fishing families have the opportunity to participate in development in the areas of health, education, economic and socio-cultural values are clean and healthy, so that they can improve a clean and healthy lifestyle, become self-sufficient families and families who can increase his income.Keywords:Coastal Community Empowerment Model, Family Empowerment Post, Non-formal Education

Abstract

Classroom-based  action research (CAR) for high school math teachers is very important to develop their professionalism.  To improve the competence of teachers, a development of CAR  training  model  based  on  mentoring  is  needed.  This  study  aims  to  produce  an appropriate  CAR  training  model  based  on  mentoring  to  improve  teachers’ professionalism.  This study employed research and development (R D) model, then the procedure pursued in this research started from  (1) literature study, (2) preliminary field study,  (3)  needs  analysis,  (4)  preparing  the  training  model  design,  (5)  performing validation model, (6) revising the model, (7) preparing hypothetical model of training, (8) performing limited testing and expanded trials, and (9) revising the final model through the  focus  group  discussion   (FGD-2),  experts,  and  practitioners   to  obtain  the  final model.The   result   shows   that:  (1)  the  product   which   is  validated   by  experts   and practitioners  obtains  a mean  score  of 62.15  (good  qualification),  (2) the final  training model is very feasible to be used by the indication of the its mean score at 3.59 (very high) for its usefulness, the mean score of 3.48 (very high) for its practicality, the mean score of3.58  (very  high)  for  its  feasibility.  The  implementation   of  training  program  is  alsocapable of producing  CAR research reports. The conclusions  of research is that the final model of CAR training based on mentoring and its training instruments are very feasible to be used to improve the professionalism  of senior high school math teachers in Brebes.

SKB merupakan lembaga pendidikan nonformal yang bertugas melayani membantu dan menyelenggarakan serangkaian program dalam tugasnya sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan serangkaian pelaksanaan pelatihan, hambatan dan solusi penyelesaian pelatihan pengelasan pada warga belajar kejar paket C di SKB Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala SKB, penyelenggara pelatihan, bagian tata usaha, tutor pelatihan dan warga belajar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teori. Teknik analisis data adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi pelatihan pengelasan di dasarkan pada kepedulian pihak SKB dalam mengembangkan keterampilan warga belajar dengan perencanaan program yang terencana dengan memasukan pelatihan ke dalam kurikulum. Penghambatnya kurangnya partisipasi warga belajar terhadap pelatiha. Solusi memberikan motivasi tentang pelatihan yang di lakukan akan bermanfaat dan peningkatan program.  Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, kejar paket C, SKB

Abstract

The pandemic is very influential in the world of education, one of which is the implementation of an online learning process that has the difficulty of transferring knowledge, so we need an interactive media that is interesting, but facilitates the transfer of knowledge. The aim is to determine the design of quizizz-assisted animated video media used for social studies learning, the feasibility of quizizz-assisted animated video media used for social studies learning, and the effectiveness of the influence of quizizz-assisted animation video media on social studies learning outcomes. The research design uses Research and Development. The population in this study were students of SDN Bojong Salaman 02, West Semarang District, Semarang City, and the samples were 20 students of class IV A as the control class and 23 students of class IV B as the experimental class. Data collection techniques with tests (multiple choice questions) and non-test (observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, documentation). Prerequisite data analysis techniques, video feasibility test, and t-test. T-test results are 8.112 greater than t-table (2.074). In conclusion, the quizizz-assisted animation video media is effective in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah ekportir batu bara terbesar di dunia. Total produksi batu bara Indonesia pada tahun 2018 sebesar 528 juta ton. Dari jumlah tersebut, 320 juta ton di produksi oleh perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kinerja perusahaan tambang batubara di Indonesia yang sudah tbk di periode 2014 sampai dengan 2018 terdapat gap yang sangat tinggi. Perbedaan gap kinerja ini yang di duga salah satu nya di pengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan di perusahaan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh breakthrough leadership terhadap kinerja organisasi dengan motivasi dan kepuasan karyawan sebagai variabel intervening di perusahaan pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di BEI di Indonesia. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 12 perusahaan pertambangan batubara yang terdaftar di BEI di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Responden penelitian adalah 113 orang pada posisi supervisor hingga direktur. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM – AMOS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa breakthrough leadership mempunyai pengaruh positip dan significant terhadap employee motivation dan employee satisfaction, tetapi tidak mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap performance organisasi , employee motivation dan employee satisfaction mempunyai pengaruh positip terhadap performance organisasi. Employee satisfaction dan employee motivation tidak memediasi antara breakthrough leadership terhadap kinerja organisasi.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest coal exporter in the world. Indonesia's total coal production in 2018 was 528 million tons. Of this amount, 320 million tons were produced by coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The phenomenon of the performance of coal mining companies in Indonesia which has been established in the period 2014 to 2018 there is a very high difference, both in terms of financial performance and the resulting production. The difference in the performance gap is thought to be influenced by the leadership style in the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, servant and breakthrough leadership on organizational performance with employee satisfaction as an intervening variable in coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and suggest implications for improving company performance. The respondents of this study were 15 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The type of research used is a quantitative method with 201 respondents, in supervisory to director positions. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM – AMOS). The results of the study indicate that the current speed of change in organizational behavior, technology and the business environment in the coal mining sector in Indonesia requires a change in the existing leadership style towards breakthrough leadership with 5 (five) dimensions, so that in its implication in the coal industry sector the existing leaders Currently, more emphasis is placed on changing leadership styles to become “multi power leaders” and “visionary leaders” and this will significantly increase organizational performance through employee satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education through habituation which includes planning, implementation, evaluation of the results of character education, supporting factors and obstacles to the implementation of character education through habituation in Paud Alam Ungaran. This study uses a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The validity technique uses source and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques in research using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the process of character education through the habituation of students in accordance with the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation and results as well as supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Children's character education planning is done through daily habituation in accordance with 9 of the 18 national character values, namely religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, creative, curiosity, friendly / communicative, fond of reading and caring for the environment. Implementation covers the process of implementing character education in daily life through the habituation given by the teacher to children. Evaluation and results are conducted to see the results of changes in children's behavior in accordance with the ethics and morals of character education. The supporting factors of implementing character education through habituation are parents, motivating teachers. The inhibiting factor of the application of character education through habits is from outside the environment and the mindset of children who are still small and do not understand.

Abstract

Developing creativity in the classroom is a major factor that matters. Educators who understand creativity can help learners in developing creativity. Educators who train and teach creativity must be educators who have a creative soul. The outline of the issue examined was how the role of educators in developing early childhood art creativity in Group Play Koronka, how to factor endowments development early childhood art creativity in Group Play Koronka, as well as how the factors restricting the development of creativity in early childhood Arts Groups Play Koronka. data collection is carried out by means of observation, interview and documentation. The validity of the data obtained through triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis starts from data collection through the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The results obtained in this research is the role of educators include educating, teaching, guiding, directing, train, assess, and evaluate his protégé participant about the creativity of art. Educators who creatively very influential towards the participants of his protégé. In addition, the factors that support the creativity of art comes from the support of parents as well as adequate infrastructure and facilities. While the factors that inhibit the creativity of art located on educators or parents who break the idea put forth child, competition between the child, the limitation on the child's curiosity, many educators forbid children, as well as parenting parents too keep an eye on the child.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada pembelajaran kursus TOEFL camp di Lembaga Elfast. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaiu 1 pengelola, 6 tutor dan 5 peserta kursus. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interakti miles-huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) perencanaan pembelajaran tidak disusun terstruktur dan sistematis. Tutor menyusun materi dan jadwal, memilih media, metode sesuai materi, kondisi peserta, dan kemampuan tutor, 2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas dan camp meliputi kegiatan pembuka, inti dan penutup, dengan ceramah, diskusi, game, punishment, reward. Tutor memberi bimbingan dan tindak lanjut, 3) evaluasi pembelajaran dengan tes melalui 13 kali penskoran 4) faktor pendukung pembelajaran yaitu tutor berpengalaman, lingkungan belajar, sistem scanning untuk penskoran. Faktor penghambat meliputi perbedaan kemampuan dasar bahasa Inggris peserta, jadwal mengajar tutor camp terlalu padat.

Abstract

Quality has increasingly become an important success determiner for higher education institutions. The education quality highly depends on the quality of all management systems run by the higher education institutions. This research aims at explaining the factual model and identifying the main factors influencing the implementation and development of quality assurance system of private higher education institutions in West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Research and Development (R&D) method was used as the research methodology to develop the model. Data collection processes start by interviewing the stakeholders of internal quality assurance system at higher education institutions and then distributing questionnaires related to the implementation of internal quality assurance system at each higher education institution. The collected data was then analyzed and synthesized into the factual model. The obtained factual model consisted of three steps: planning, implementing, and evaluating the internal quality assurance. From this factual model, it is revealed that the implementation of internal quality assurance system of private higher education institutions in West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia has not completely become a part of higher education institution accountability orienting on the higher education quality assurance, but more on the temporary purposes, such as higher education institution accreditation purposes.
