Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of animated videos as well as to study reading of literature for the senior high school students in Bengkulu City. The method of this study was research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The results of this study implied that the material feasibility test showed 88.75% material competency aspects, 77.85% concept understanding aspects, 85.71% material suitability aspects, 91.25% language aspects with an average of 84.77% which indicated perfectly feasible. Media feasibility test revealed 82.5% appropriateness aspects, 86% display aspect, 87.5% usage aspect, 73.33% advantage aspect, with an average acquisition of 82.5% which indicated highly excellence, small-scale readability test obtained 79.05% that was very good category. It can be concluded that the development of animated video learning media based sparkol videoscribe for understanding students’ concept was worthy to be tested. The animated videos are expected to attract users in both classroom and off-classroom self-study.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis setelah diterapkan pendekatan konstruktivis menggunakan Model Project Based Learning pada matakuliah Strategi Pembelajan Fisika mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester III. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 komponen di antaranya; perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP Universitas Bengkulu semester III tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: pengamatan (observasi) dan tes. Analisis penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran terhadap tes dan observasi oleh observer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif terlihat dari siklus dua ke siklus tiga yakni 16,62 ke 18,84. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis terlihat dari setiap siklus. Keterampilan berpikir kritis rata-rata pada siklus satu adalah sebesar 2,72, pada siklus dua sebesar 3,352 dan pada siklus tiga sebesar 3,564. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan konstruktivis menggunakan Model Project Based Learning pada matakuliah Strategi Pembelajaran Fisika dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.   Kata Kunci: model project based learning, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, keterampilan berpikir kritis   ABSTRACT   This study aims to describe the improvement of creative thinking skills and critical thinking skills after applying the Constructivist approach using the Project Based Learning model in the Physics Learning Strategy course for Physics education students in the third semester. This research is class action research (CAR). This study consists of 3 cycles, where each cycle consists of 4 components in the future; planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were all physics education students of teacher training and education faculty of University of Bengkulu in the third semester of the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 30 people. The instruments used to collect data in this study include: observations and tests. The analysis of the study was carried out using descriptive statistics, namely to describe the picture of the test and observation by the observer. The results showed that the increase in creative thinking skills was seen from cycle two to cycle three, namely 16.62 to 18.84. Improvement of critical thinking skills can be seen from each cycle. The average critical thinking skill in cycle one was 2.72, in cycle two was 3.352 and in cycle three was 3.564. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of a constructivist approach using the Project Based Learning Model in the Physics Learning Strategy course can improve students' creative thinking skills and critical thinking skills.   Keywords: Project Based Learning Model, Creative Thinking Skills, Critical Thinking Skills

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pengenalan dan pemahaman tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan memberikan bimbingan teknis tentang pembelajaran blended learning bagi guru-guru di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah para guru SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara. Kegiatan ini akan dilaksanakan bekerjasama dengan Guru dan Kepala SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara dan LPPM Universitas Bengkulu sebagai Lembaga yang senantiasa melakukan berbagai program pengabdian masyarakat guna menjalin kerjasama yang baik antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat serta memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan pengabdian dengan kegiatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat yang ada di lingkungan Provinsi Bengkulu. Rancangan evaluasi dengan melihat partisipasi peserta (guru) yang terlibat dalam kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir program pengabdian masyarakat dan dengan melihat berapa banyak Perangkat Pembelajaran yang bisa dihasilkan. Selain itu, evaluasi juga dilakukan dengan melihat keberlanjutan kegiatan Implementasi media pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning setelah program pengabdian berakhir, apakah masih berlanjut atau tidak. Pelatihan yang dilakukan di SMAN 03 Bengkulu Utara tentang pembelajaran berbasis Model Blended Learning mendapatkan respon yang baik dan keberlanjutan kerjasama akan terus dilaksanakan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam mempergunakan Teknologi Informasi khususnya menggunakan program 3D flip Profesional dalam membantu pembelajaran IPA khususnya pada siswa SMPN 11 KOTA BENGKULU sehingga dapat memotivasi guru-guru IPA dalam menggunakan inovasi pembelajaran terkini. Sasaran utama pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah guru guru IPA di lingkungan SMPN 11 Kota bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dan pelatihan. Materi pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung, diskusi dan melalui buku yang disertai video tutorial sehingga diharapkan guru-guru dapat mudah untuk memahami tentang cara penggunaan program 3D flip Profesional dalam pembuatan Modul elektronik berupa media interaktif IPA. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi lapangan sampai kepada pencarian informasi pendukung kelayakan program. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat tentang pelatihan Pembuatan Modul Elektronik menggunakan 3D flip profesional di SMP 11 Kota Bengkulu ini telah mampu memberikan wawasan kepada guru guru fisika tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembuatan bahan ajar elektronik. Kegiatan ini juga telah memberikan motivasi kepada guru guru untuk lebih meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam membuat bahan bahan ajar yang lebih menarik dan inovatif.

Abstract

Kemajuan sektor pariwisata di Desa Rindu Hati Bengkulu Tengah belum optimal. Salah satu faktor permasalahan adalah kurangnya promosi untuk memperkenalkan potensi wisata yang dimiliki. Pengelola objek wisata Desa Rindu Hati tidak memiliki keterampilan yang memadai tentang penggunaan media promosi secara online seperti website dan youtube. Media online merupakan sarana promosi yang handal untuk menjangkau calon wisatawan secara global. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalterapkan website dan youtube sebagai media promosi kepada kelompok pengelola wisata di Desa Rindu Hati. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mendesain dan mengelola website dan konten youtube untuk mempromosikan potensi wisata. Melalui kegiatan ini telah dihasilkan 6 orang pengelola wisata yang memiliki keterampilan dalam promosi wisata secara online melalui website dan youtube. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang cukup signifikan dalam meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi dosen Universitas Muhammdiyah Bengkulu (UMB) dalam mengelola pembelajaran secara daring dan blended learning Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah seluruh dosen dilingkungan UMB. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, dan pelatihan. Materi pelatihan dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung, diskusi dan melalui buku yang disertai video tutorial sehingga diharapkan guru-guru dapat mudah untuk memahami tentang cara mengelola pembelajaran elearning dengan model blended learning. Kegiatan dimulai dengan observasi lapangan sampai kepada pencarian informasi pendukung kelayakan program. Kegiatan workshop elearning dan blended learning difasilitasi oleh LPMPP UMB dan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4-5 Desember 2019 bertempat di Gedung Ahmad Dahlan kampus 14 Universitas Muhamadiyah Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini dihadiri kurang lebih 100 dosen UMB yang mewakili masing masing fakultas di UMB. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kamampuan dosen dalam pengelolaan elearning dan blended learning di UMB.

Abstract

Limited training through e-education aims to improve the competence of school principals in the work consultations for principals of SMP and Mts Bengkulu City. The target audience for this service is the Principals of the Bengkulu City Middle School and MTs who are members of the School Principal Working Consultation as many as 18 people. The implementation method is carried out by three methods namely training, orientation, and practice. This Principal Strengthening Training uses the MOOCs-based E-Training system. The training referred to here consists of activities providing orientation on what teachers need in order to improve the competence of school principals in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education. Limited Training Through E-Training to improve the competence of school principals at the Bengkulu City Junior High School Headmaster's Working Meeting is the right activity and is very in line with current learning needs. This training has been well implemented and received a positive response from the trainees.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the success rate of training activities based on the results of the response analysis of training participants in making e-modules using flip pdf corporate for teachers at SD It Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. This research was conducted in July-August 2022. The target audience for this service activity is the education community. namely SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. The target of this service is the teachers at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City who will benefit from this training activity. In the plan for this service activity, observations have been made and the adequacy of facilities and infrastructure for training activities and there is support from the school which states that it welcomes this service activity to be carried out at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City. The activity began with observations and interviews with a number of teachers and principals of SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City about the needs needed to assist teachers in making electronic teaching materials, especially those that can be used in the midst of the current pandemic. To measure the success of this activity, the team conducted evaluations and surveys in the form of questionnaires distributed to teachers. These results were then analyzed descriptively. The training activity for making e-modules using a corporate flip pdf for teachers at SD IT Insan Mulia, Bengkulu City was successfully carried out, this was evidenced by the positive response from the training participants to the training activities shown through the answers selected on the response questionnaire sheet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the responses of the training participants in making digital teaching materials according to the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum at IAIN Curup.This activity was carried out in July 2022 at the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN Curup). The target audience for this service activity is the education community, namely IAIN Curup. The target of this service is lecturers at IAIN Curup. However, the research sample was only 25 lecturers who were participants in the training held by the service team from Bengkulu University. Data was collected by means of surveys in the form of response questionnaires distributed to lecturers who were trainees whose purpose was to measure the success of this activity process. These results were then analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The questionnaire used as a data collection tool in this activity was developed by following a modified Likert Scale with 4 answer choices, namely strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The results of this study shows that the training has been carried out well, both in terms of the material, the method of delivery, the software used, how to guide practical activities and the compatibility between digital teaching materials made with the characteristics that teaching materials must possess. In addition, this training activity is also able to motivate or encourage training participants to create and provide digital teaching materials that arein accordance with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) by considering the needs of students, campuses, and regions, and encouraging them to be more creative in innovating teaching materials.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of the learning module by using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model with the aid of Augmented Reality on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium, to describe the feasibility of the learning module using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model with the aid of Augmented Reality on the dynamics material rotation and equilibrium of rigid bodies and describe students' perceptions of the readability of learning modules using the Augmented Reality-assisted Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium. This research method is a Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development method modified into 3D, namely define, design and development. The resulting product is a printed learning module using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model assisted by Augmented Reality video playback made using the Unity 3D application. This module aims to train high school students critical thinking skills. The data samples used in this study were physics teachers and class XI students from three schools. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, review sheets of learning implementation plan documents, the teacher needs questionnaires, student needs questionnaires, expert team validation questionnaires, and student perceptions questionnaires. Assessment of the validation test questionnaire and students' perceptions were interpreted with a Likert scale. Product validation was carried out by 3 expert validators who were reviewed from 6 aspects, namely content, presentation, critical thinking indicators, language, SOLE model stages, and media. The results obtained from this study indicate that the developed module is included in the very decent category with an average score percentage of 85.96% and students' perceptions of the developed module are in the very good category with an average score percentage of 90.01%.
