Abstract

This study contributes to mathematics education by clarifying how independent learning supports students’ creative thinking processes, particularly in vocational contexts where autonomy and problem-solving skills are crucial. This study focuses on students' learning independence and creative thinking skills with the aim of determining whether there is a relationship between learning independence and creative thinking skills among vocational high school students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a correlational method conducted at one of the vocational high schools in Tangerang City, Banten Province. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students from the 10th-grade Multimedia class. Data collection techniques included observation, a 24-item questionnaire, and a written test with 5 questions. The instruments were validated by experts and declared suitable for use, ensuring content validity and reliability. Based on the results of the study conducted in the Multimedia class, it can be concluded that the level of learning independence and creative thinking ability of students is above average, with 13 students (43.33%) scoring below average and 17 students (56.66%) scoring above average, and further analysis shows a strong positive correlation (r = 0.970, p < 0.01) between the two variables. Based on the hypothesis test, there is a significant relationship between learning independence and students' creative thinking ability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how strengthening teachers' organizational commitment can be achieved through the preservation of local wisdom and the strengthening of organizational support. The main focus of this study is on permanent teachers at the SMP Sekolah Penggerak Foundation School located in Bogor Regency. Based on the sample calculation technique, the number of samples was set at 215 respondents. Path Analysis and SITOREM Analysis are combined research methods that combine Path Analysis with SITOREM Analysis to reinforce the results. The method used mix metode in this study is the POP-SDM (Organizational Development and Human Resource Management) method, which allows researchers to identify the factors that influence teacher commitment comprehensively. Primary data: Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to a number of teachers at private vocational high schools (SMK) in the Center of Excellence in Bogor Regency, West Java. Secondary data: Data obtained from the, which are accessible to the public. This study found that local wisdom, which includes the values and cultural practices that exist in the local community, plays an important role in increasing teachers' sense of responsibility and loyalty to the organization. In addition, strengthening organizational support, which consists of providing adequate facilities, recognizing teachers' contributions, and empowering them in the decision-making process, also strengthens their commitment to work more optimally. The results of this study provide important contributions to the development of educational policies that consider local and organizational contexts, as well as recommendations for school administrators and educational institutions to create a supportive work environment that values local wisdom. The uniqueness of this study lies in the use of the POP-SDM approach, which integrates local and organizational aspects to strengthen teacher commitment in schools in Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya nilai perusahaan sebagai cerminan kepercayaan investor terhadap prospek bisnis jangka panjang. Dalam konteks rumah sakit yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, pengelolaan kinerja keuangan menjadi faktor krusial dalam menjaga nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan solvabilitas dipandang sebagai indikator utama yang memengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Di sisi lain, strategi penghindaran pajak menjadi faktor yang sering digunakan untuk efisiensi fiskal, namun menimbulkan konsekuensi reputasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh ketiga indikator kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan, serta mengkaji peran penghindaran pajak sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan penghindaran pajak sebagai variabel moderasi. Kinerja keuangan diukur melalui profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan solvabilitas, sedangkan nilai perusahaan menggunakan model Ohlson. Penghindaran pajak direpresentasikan dengan Book-Tax Difference (BTD) untuk menilai dampaknya terhadap hubungan kinerja dan nilai perusahaan. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal-komparatif digunakan, dengan data sekunder diolah melalui analisis statistik dan pengujian asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis bagi pengelolaan perusahaan, khususnya di sektor layanan kesehatan, serta menghasilkan temuan yang kredibel dan relevan bagi akademisi maupun praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas (ROA) berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (B = –18,016; p = 0,046), sedangkan likuiditas (CR) dan solvabilitas (DER) tidak berpengaruh signifikan (CR: B = 1,772; p = 0,233 dan DER: B = –1,667; p = 0,231). Penghindaran pajak secara langsung berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (B = –18,090; p = 0,002). Dalam uji moderasi, hanya Current Ratio Moderasi dan Cash Ratio Moderasi yang menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan (CR_Moderasi: B = –356,775; p = 0,044 dan Cash_Moderasi: B = 68,349; p = 0,012), sedangkan moderasi ROA tidak signifikan (B = –40,039; p = 0,951). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya tata kelola keuangan dan perpajakan yang bijak untuk menjaga nilai perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The professional competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in teaching ratio material is a vital factor in improving students’ understanding of mathematics, making it important to examine MI teachers’ knowledge of mathematics content. This study aims to analyze teachers’ professional skills, including their understanding of the concept of ratios, their attitudes toward preparing the learning process, such as creating teaching materials aligned with the curriculum, and their understanding of students’ characteristics and how they design learning. The results of this study provide an initial foundation for further research, which can help teachers develop learning methods through didactic studies. The subjects of this research are MI grade VI teachers in Bandung Regency, from six schools. The method used is a descriptive approach with a prospective analysis stage based on Didactical Design Research (DDR). Data collection involved teacher reflection sheets, exploratory interviews, observations, and document reviews. The findings indicate that teachers’ professional competence in knowledge of learning content and teaching methods remains at level 2, while their understanding of students’ characteristics and learning styles is at level 3. Reflection sheets and interviews reveal that teachers face difficulties beginning with defining ratios, particularly in understanding that the ratio of a to b differs from the ratio of b to a, and in solving problems involving equal proportions. Often, teachers plan their lessons with a simple sequence of materials in a journal, without considering the epistemic and systemic aspects of the content or validating their presentation and practice questions found in textbooks. MI teachers also find it challenging to select concrete teaching methods for ratios before moving to an abstract understanding, especially given the limited time. Based on these findings, there is a clear need for programs to improve teachers’ competence through didactic studies, equipping them to anticipate and address potential obstacles and enabling them to design compelling learning experiences. Since teachers’ professional competence in teaching ratios directly impacts students’ understanding of math, exploring their content knowledge is essential. This study contributes to empowering teachers through didactic design research, a necessary approach to enhancing teacher competence.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku UMKM di Desa Bojongsari, Kabupaten Bekasi, melalui pelatihan manajemen kinerja. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman pelaku usaha terkait perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, dan evaluasi usaha yang berdampak pada keterbatasan daya saing di tengah persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui pre-test, pemberian materi, praktik langsung, diskusi interaktif, serta post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan kompetensi peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek manajemen kinerja; peserta yang sebelumnya kurang memahami konsep dasar manajemen usaha, setelah pelatihan mampu menyusun rencana kerja, mengatur proses produksi, melakukan evaluasi kinerja, dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital sederhana untuk menunjang operasional. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini tidak hanya memberikan pemahaman teoritis, tetapi juga mendorong perubahan perilaku manajerial yang aplikatif pada UMKM. Rekomendasi utama adalah perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan dan kolaborasi lintas sektor agar transformasi ini dapat berkontribusi nyata terhadap keberlanjutan dan daya saing UMKM di daerah tersebut.

Abstract

The role of teachers in education is not limited to the delivery of material and theory but also involves shaping the character and faith of students, particularly in the context of Christian Religious Education (CRE). In an era of rapid development, teachers face numerous challenges such as professional pressure, technological advancement, and a crisis of humanity in educational relationships. Therefore, there is a need for resilient teachers—both in terms of faith and character. This study aims to examine teacher resilience from a Christian perspective using a humanization approach to education. The formal object of this study is Christian Religious Education, while the material object is teacher resilience, understood as a manifestation of perseverance, faithfulness, and divine calling. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing literature reviews from theological and pedagogical sources. The findings indicate that teacher resilience in the Christian faith is rooted in a deep relationship with Christ, a spirituality of service, and an understanding of one’s vocation as an educator. This study emphasizes that faith formation and character development are essential aspects in addressing the humanitarian crisis in today’s educational landscape. The research contributes to the development of a CRE curriculum that focuses on the holistic human needs of both teachers and students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tema Pengembangan Manajemen Lembaga Pendidikan Nonformal (LPNF) di Wilayah Kepulauan Seribu, DKJ. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah kondisi LPNF yang masih dikelola secara sederhana, tanpa perencanaan strategis, sistem evaluasi, maupun pemanfaatan teknologi yang memadai. Padahal, LPNF memiliki peran penting dalam menyediakan akses pendidikan alternatif bagi masyarakat kepulauan yang terbatas pada layanan pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan model partisipatif-kolaboratif, melalui tahapan observasi, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), pelatihan, workshop, serta pendampingan intensif selama tiga bulan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar LPNF di Kepulauan Seribu menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, lemahnya tata kelola kelembagaan, serta rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi. Melalui intervensi berupa pelatihan manajerial, workshop penyusunan rencana kerja, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek perencanaan strategis, pengelolaan keuangan sederhana, pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, dan partisipasi masyarakat. LPNF mulai menyusun dokumen rencana kerja, meningkatkan kolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah, serta menyesuaikan program dengan potensi lokal seperti kelautan, pariwisata, dan kewirausahaan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa penguatan manajemen LPNF berbasis partisipatif-kolaboratif mampu meningkatkan profesionalisme, efektivitas, dan keberlanjutan lembaga. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memperbaiki kualitas layanan pendidikan nonformal, tetapi juga mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat, mengurangi kesenjangan pendidikan antara pusat dan daerah, serta berkontribusi terhadap pencapaian tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs).Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Nonformal; Manajemen Lembaga; Pengabdian Masyarakat; Kepulauan Seribu; Partisipatif-Kolaboratif.ABSTRACTThis community service program aimed to strengthen the management of Nonformal Education Institutions (NFEIs) in the Thousand Islands Region, Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKJ). The program addressed the common challenges faced by NFEIs, including limited strategic planning, weak evaluation systems, and minimal use of educational technology, despite their vital role in providing alternative education for island communities. A descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory collaborative model was employed through observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), training, workshops, and three months of intensive mentoring. The findings reveal that most NFEIs experienced constraints in human resources, institutional governance, and technology utilization. Managerial training and continuous mentoring resulted in notable improvements in strategic planning, basic financial management, technology-supported learning, and community involvement. Several institutions developed formal work plans, strengthened collaboration with local government, and aligned programs with local potentials such as marine-based activities, tourism, and entrepreneurship. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the M-APOS learning model (a modification of Action, Process, Object, and Schema) in improving the computational thinking skills of prospective mathematics teachers. The study employed a mixed-methods approach with an explanatory sequential design that combines quantitative and qualitative data. The research subjects consisted of 44 third-semester students divided into an experimental group (n = 22) and a control group (n = 22). The research instruments included an essay-based computational thinking test, learning activity observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Quantitative data were analyzed using a t-test and Cohen’s d effect size calculation, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically to strengthen the quantitative findings. The results indicate that the M-APOS model significantly improves students’ computational thinking skills, as shown by a Cohen’s d value of 1.57, which represents a very large effect. In addition, observation results show a consistent increase in students’ learning activities, particularly in the indicators of decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking. High levels of learning activity support concept internalization through the Action–Process–Object–Schema stages. These findings confirm that the M-APOS model has a substantial impact on students’ computational thinking skills.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah menengah di Indonesia menunjukkan kesenjangan yang jelas antara penguasaan soal rutin dan kemampuan menalar, menafsirkan data, serta memahami konteks. Kondisi ini menuntut pemetaan yang lebih komprehensif untuk memahami variasi capaian numerasi berdasarkan domain, level kognitif, dan karakteristik asesmen. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan kompetensi numerasi siswa SMA dan SMK di Provinsi Riau serta mengidentifikasi faktor pembelajaran, strategi guru, dan karakteristik soal yang memengaruhi hasil tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain sekuensial eksplanatori, melibatkan tes kuantitatif pada 288 siswa dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru serta siswa dari dua sekolah berprestasi tinggi. Instrumen tes mencakup 30 soal numerasi yang merepresentasikan tiga domain (geometri & pengukuran, aljabar, data & ketidakpastian), tiga level kognitif (Knowing, Applying, Reasoning), dan enam jenis soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola capaian hierarkis yang menurun dari Knowing ke Reasoning dengan perbedaan signifikan antar domain dan jenis soal. Capaian terendah ditemukan pada domain data dan ketidakpastian serta soal uraian yang menuntut penalaran tingkat tinggi dan interpretasi teks panjang. Temuan kualitatif menegaskan bahwa kesulitan utama siswa berkaitan dengan beban kognitif saat membaca konteks, keterbatasan hubungan konseptual–prosedural, dan kurangnya pembelajaran berbasis situasi nyata. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan numerasi memerlukan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan literasi membaca, penalaran matematis, dan strategi pedagogis reflektif secara berkelanjutan.
