Abstract

Sumpit adalah senjata tradisional secara umum berbentuk lurus memanjang. Faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi ketepatan sasaran menembak menggunakan sumpit adalah peralatan yang digunakan seperti peluru sumpit. Ekor peluru sumpit selama ini dibuat oleh pengrajin dengan cara tradisional. Ekor peluru yang dihasilkan dengan cara tradisional kurang baik dan tidak seragam. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan teknologi berupa mesin yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat ekor peluru sumpit dengan bentuk, ukuran, dan berat yang seragam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan uji kinerja mesin pembentuk peluru sumpit. Data yang dianalsis dalam penelitian adalah kapasitas produksi mesin, pengukuran keseragaman ukuran dan berat. Kecepatan putar mesin yang digunakan untuk membentuk peluru sumpit adalah 720 rpm. Ukuran ekor peluru sumpit dibedakan menjadi kaliber 11, 13 dan 14. Ekor peluru sumpit terbuat dari bahan EVA dan pengamatan dilakukan menggunakan 10 sampel uji setiap pengujian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, rerata kapasitas produksi mesin pembentuk peluru sumpit adalah 19,62 butir/jam. Nilai rerata tingkat keseragaman kaliber 11, 13 dan 14 pada bagian A adalah 98,96%, B 99,00%, C 95,96% dan D 91,55%. Tingkat keseragaman bobot ekor peluru sumpit kaliber 11 adalah 87,64%, kaliber 13 90,06% dan kaliber 14 adalah 86,72%.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Batik Nau,Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara, yang rentan terhadap banjir. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi resitivitas dan porositas batuan serta kondisi geologi untuk menilai potensi daerah yang rentan terdampak banjir.Dengan menggunakan konfigurasi Schlumberger untuk Metode Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) pada 30 titik penelitian di sepanjang daerah rawan banjir. Data utama diperoleh menggunakan alat Geolistrik IP Meter MAE X612-EM, kemudian diproses dengan perangkat lunak Progress 3.0 untuk menghasilkan gambaran Resistivity Log 1D,yang kemudian diinversikan dan dianalisis untuk menyesuaikan dengan peta geologi. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis matematis secara 3D dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Voxler 4.0 untuk mendapatkan hasil gambaran porositas secara lapisanan. Hasil interpretasi menunjukkan bahwa lapisan bawah permukaan tanah di Desa Batik Nau rata – rata di penuhi dengan batuan alluvium yang berjenis lempung(tanah liat), kerikil pasiran, dan napal. Porositas yang memiliki rata-rata rendah, menunjukkan bahwa daerah penelitian ini cenderung jenuh terhadap udara, sehingga menyebabkan terakumulasi saat musim hujan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan latihan Latihan Depth Jump Dengan Jump In Place Terhadap Hasil Loncatan Smash Atlet Bola Voli Man 4 Kabupaten Sukabumi Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two group pretest-posttest design”. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet bola voli MAN4 Kabupaten Sukabumi, Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 12 orang dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling total. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan vertical jump sebagai alat ukur kemampuan melompat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu mencari simpangan baku, mencari nilai normalitas dan homogen lalu mencari nilai paired T test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan, dengan uji paired sample t test latihan depth jump memperoleh nilai signifikasi < 0,05 yaitu 0,000, dan jump in place memperoleh nilai signifikasi < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh latihan depth jump dan jump in place terhadap kemampuan melompat atlet bola voli MAN 4 Kabupaten Sukabumi. Persentasi peningkatan latihan depth jump sebesar 25,74% dan jump in place sebesar 22,72%, maka depth jump lebih baik berpengaruh karena memperoleh persentasi peningkatan yang lebih besar dibandingkan plyometric box jump

Abstract

Aurantiochytrium microalgae has long been recognized as oleaginous microalgae since its capability to produce high content of lipids biomass. Produced lipids from cultivation process of Aurantiochytrium can contain high concentration of omega-3 docosahexanoic acid, hence valuable biomass from the Aurantiochytrium microalgae has the potential to be used as a source of raw materials for nutrition, cosmetics and medicines. Generally,  Aurantiochytrium microalgae can be found in mangrove ecosystems. Even Indonesia is ranked as the largest mangrove in the world, but the use of Aurantiochytrium sp microalgae is rarely explored in Indonesia. In order to optimize biomass utiisation produced the cultivation process, there shall be an optimum extraction process. Therefore, this study present the optimization of lipids from the Aurantiochytrium sp microalgae. The isolate used in this research comes from Bunaken mangrove forest, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. The cultivation process consists of three steps, namely standing culture (SC, 48 hours), pre-culture (PC, 48 hours) and standing culture (SC, 120 hours). The cultivation took pace in an erlemeyer flask using orbital shaker with an orbital speed of 220 rpm at room temperature and pressure. The average dried biomass was 9.4 g/L. In addition to cultivation process, recent paper presents also an extraction methodology using organic solvents, namely methanol, chloroform, acetone, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane. The lipids fcation can be extracted with a minimum of 7% lipid and a  maximum of 47% lipid. From this study, extraction using acetone-chloroform-ethyl acetate solvents resulted in the highest fraction of lipids from the extraction process of Aurantiochytrium biomass. Since the paper discussing the extraction process of native Indonesia strain of Aurantiochytrium microalgae has never been presented before, therefore this paper shall be valuable basis for further research in this field.

Abstract

The rapid growth of global population causes increasing energy needs. The energy needs currently used depend on fossil fuels which are non-renewable energy sources. An alternative to solve this problem is to use renewable fuel. One alternative to reduce the use of fossil fuels is microalgae. The microalgae used in this research is Nannochloropsis sp. Because it contains quite a lot of lipids, it has the potential to be used as a raw material for making biodiesel 42.315% of the fatty acids contained in Nannochloropsis are palmitoleic. This research was conducted to determine the total lipid content and percent extraction yield. The method used in this research is mixing methods. Extraction times were 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes. The greatest total lipid content was obtained at 120 m inutes with the amount obtained being 10.46%. Meanwhile, the highest percentage of results obtained was at 120 minutes, namely 10.46%. The optimum extraction speed is in the range of 0 to 30 minutes with a speed of 0.0305% with a lipid recovery of around 90% of the lipids produced.. The research results obtained showed that the extraction time affected the results obtained in terms of total lipid content and percent yield. The longer the extraction time, the greater the lipid content and percent yield obtained.

Abstract

Kelurahan Berkas is a coastal area in Teluk Segara Sub-district, Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province. The purpose of this research is to identify the presence of groundwater in Kelurahan Berkas. The method used was resistivity geoelectric method with Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. This research applied three lines, the first in the Southwest-Northeast direction and the second in the East-West direction, with a length of 240 metres each. The results show that the free aquifer layer in the first pass has a resistivity value of 1.61 Ω.m to 3.98 Ω.m at a depth of 7 metres to 24 metres. While the second pass has a resistivity value of 3.17 Ω.m to 9.23 Ω.m at a depth of 8 metres to 36.9 metres and the third pass has a resistivity value of 1.62 Ω.m to 7.05 Ω.m at a depth of 2 metres to 20 metres. The results also show that the lithology of the aquifer layer in the study area is interpreted as clay, sandy clay, and sand. This layer contains groundwater that has been affected by seawater intrusion. The influence of this intrusion causes the groundwater to have a relatively low percentage of salinity so that the groundwater at the research location feels brackish. The existence of seawater intrusion is caused by the kelurahan berkas right on the coast so that the kelurahan berkas community lacks clean water, so the well water becomes brackish, therefore with this research the community can find out the location or point where there is groundwater.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the strategy of managing ideas and ideas to increase profitability in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) meatball stalls. The method used for this research adopts a qualitative analysis approach and library research method. The data used in this research is secondary, which is obtained from books, journals, articles, and other sources relevant to the strategy of managing ideas and ideas in the culinary industry. The data collection technique is done by collecting reading material related to the problem under study. The results showed that Indonesian culinary MSMEs have a strong reputation and heritage, but are experiencing changes. To increase profitability and competitiveness, effective business planning and development strategies are essential. Business planning involves analyzing the industry, customers, and competitors, and identifying short- and long-term goals. Business development involves identifying opportunities, formulating business alternatives, selecting the best, implementing and evaluating. Idea and idea management strategies such as operational cost management, setting the right pricing policy, and improving operational efficiency are necessary to increase profitability.

Abstract

This study was conducted in Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, where the Ketahun segmented fault crosses. Using geoelectric data, this study was conducted to identify the distribution of hydrothermal reservoirs, the dipole-dipole method was used because it obtained more data so as to see the potential distribution of hot water and subsurface constituent rocks in more detail, obtained the results of analysis from processing using RES2DINV that the resistivity value is 6.66 -23.5 Ωm which is thought to be a geothermal source, the rock formation that is considered to be related to the hot springs of Air Putih Village is located at (72.4 - 120) metres with a depth of (0.5 -18) metres. The rock layer has a resistivity value of (6.6 - 23.5 Ωm), which is characteristic of hot water because it has low resistance and is perpendicular to the hot spring. The existence of this weak zone indicates that the porosity will increase, causing hot water from the subsurface to appear as a geothermal manifestation, the hydrothermal distribution in the research area is uneven due to the unequal rock constituents, according to the geological map in the research area the area is a sihapas formation, where the sihapas formation consists of sedimentary rocks, sand, clastic, and siltstone. This research is recommended to develop the tourism potential of hot springs in Air Putih Village, Lebong.

Abstract

Aurantiochytrium sp is a marine microalgae that is rich in lipids. Extraction of lipids from microalgae requires effort to select a suitable solvent and extraction method. This research used a double-step extraction method to study a mixture of n-hexane and methanol as a solvent. The variables studied were stirring time, the n-hexane to methanol (H/M) mixture ratio, and the solvent-to-biomass ratio (S/B). This research concluded that an optimum stirring time was 30 min, and a mixture of n-hexane and methanol solvents with a volume ratio of 1:1 is optimum. The optimum solvent-to-biomass ratio was S/B=20 mL/g dry microalgae. Under these conditions, the yield of oil was 83.88%. Double-step extraction can increase the yield by 10-40%.

Abstract

Abrasion disaster in the coastal area of Padang Betuah Beach has a high level of abrasion in Central Bengkulu. The local community utilizes abrasion in the coastal area as a tourist attraction and becomes local revenue in the research location. The location that becomes a tourist attraction is decreasing because the coastal area’s land has been abraded. After conducting research using the electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) method in 2D and 3D, it was found that claystone dominated the coastal area at the research location with a resistivity value of 16-200 Ωm at a depth of 15-20 m. The coastal area in Padang Betuah Beach is composed of clay shale rocks (207-220 Ωm), and the depth is 2-14.8 m. Clay shale rocks are not abraded in stones with resistivity values >250 Ωm. This is caused by clay shale, which has low porosity, so it has a compact rock density. Seawater is identified at a depth of 21-63 m with a resistivity value of 2.225-10.2 Ωm. The depth of seawater determined follows the average height of the cliffs in the research location. The abrasion process can be slowed down by making jetties, water breakers, and mangrove cultivation.
