Abstract

This study investigates the influence of leadership style and organizational work culture on employee performance at the Pucang Sewu Public Health Center in Surabaya. As frontline service providers in the public health system, employees at community health centers play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare. However, preliminary observations revealed indications of underperformance among staff, prompting an exploration of managerial and cultural factors affecting work outcomes. A quantitative research method was employed using a survey distributed to 50 respondents, who are employees of the health center. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS software. The study focused on two independent variables—leadership style and organizational work culture—and their respective and combined effects on employee performance. The findings demonstrate that both leadership style and organizational work culture have significant influences on employee performance. Specifically, leadership style was found to have a strong positive effect, while organizational work culture also contributed meaningfully to performance outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.516, indicating that 51.6% of the variance in performance can be explained by the two variables. The remaining 48.4% is likely attributed to other factors not included in the model. The T-test results confirmed the significance of both variables, with leadership style and organizational work culture showing p-values below 0.05. These results validate the hypotheses and underscore the importance of effective leadership and a strong organizational culture in enhancing staff performance in public health institutions. The study contributes to the literature on human resource management in healthcare settings and provides practical insights for managerial improvements at community health centers.

Abstract

The purpose of the service program being implemented is to provide training on the use of information technology to market products from UMKM Jenang Aliya Kudus. Marketing that is carried out is still conventional and the absence of social media from products from MSME Jenang Aliya makes these products not widely known by netizens. The result of the implementation of this service program is that MSME actors know the importance of using digital technology to introduce and market their products to the wider community. Because Kudus, besides being known as the city of kretek, is also known for its jenang souvenirs. This service program is carried out by introducing products to netizens through creating addresses on a google map, creating social media accounts starting from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Meanwhile, the implementation of 5S (Seiri, Seiso, Seiton, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) is carried out so that the work place and environment become tidier, cleaner, and organized according to their classification.

Abstract

The cellulose found in Gracilaria sp. has not been utilized optimally. This study investigated the characteristics of cellulose and cellulose microfibril (MFC) isolated from three grades of Gracilaria sp. Descriptive tests were performed to determine the quality of eachgrade, including observations on moisture content, ashcontent, CAW,andimpurities. The extraction process involved separating agar from Gracilaria sp., isolating cellulose using 10% NaOH, and bleaching cellulose with 3% NaOCl. The bleached cellulose was then ultrasonicated to produce MFC. Characterization was performed using FTIR, XRD, PSA, STA, DSC, and py-GC/MS. FTIR analysis indicated similar peaks for both cellulose forms but only differed in transmittance intensity. The crystallinity index from XRD analysis was 22–39% for raw Gracilaria sp., 25–46% for cellulose, and 68–89% for MFC. The particle size distribution of MFC mostly ranged between 200–500 nm, with 63.16% frequency. TG analysis showed cellulose decomposition with a Tonset of 231–260oC and a Tmax of 318–326oC. DSC analysis revealed that sonication enhances the polymer structure’s crystallization compared to pre-sonicated cellulose and raw material. The py-GC/MS analysis showed that D-allose and n-Hexadecanoic acid were the major components.

The sample of this study was taken using simple random sampling. Data analyze was conducted using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that both gratitude and forgiveness positively and significantly affected resilience in Muslim students. The path coefficients showed that increased gratitude and forgiveness were correlated with increased resilience. These findings underline the vital role of gratitude and forgiveness as sources of psychological strength in facing challenges and growing resilience among Muslim students. This study contributes to understanding relevant psychological factors in a religious context that can support well-being and resilience in Muslim adolescents. Abstract

The training on photovoltaic cell implementation at At-Taubah Islamic Boarding School, Tirtamulya, Karawang, aimed to enhance the students’ productivity through mastery of renewable energy technologies. This training was conducted as an empowerment initiative to enable students to independently apply photovoltaic cell technology to meet energy needs within the boarding school environment, while also equipping them with entrepreneurial skills in the renewable energy sector. The training methods included the delivery of basic material on photovoltaic cells, hands-on practice in assembling small-scale solar panels, and simulations of their use for lighting and simple equipment within the school. The results showed an 85% increase in students’ understanding of the working principles of photovoltaic cells, based on pre-test and post-test comparisons, along with improved skills in installing basic solar panel systems. Moreover, the training fostered student interest in developing solar panel installation and maintenance services within the surrounding community. Thus, this program contributed to enhancing the students' productivity and self-reliance while promoting clean energy utilization within the pesantren community.

Abstract

Corruption is a corrupted character and appears in certain politicians. Mental corruption in developing countries requires harsh sanctions, although it doesn’t provide a deterrent effect to the emergence of other corruptors in Indonesia. Imprisonment sanctions as long as possible can provide a religious experience so that the emergence of life changes. This article aims to analyse the spiritual experiences that have changed the lives of former corrupt convicts. Documentation study through the analysis of youtube videos from interviews with former corruption convicts who just got out of prison. The research subject is one woman—qualitative analysis as the basis for the emergence of various dimensions of religious experience. The study results found three basic dimensions of the emergence of spiritual experiences affective, cognitive, and behavioural. Religious experience in the affective dimension changes life with a process of acceptance, awareness, regret/mistake, gratitude, and sincerity—spiritual expertise with a cognitive size through self-belief and life lessons that can change lives. Religious experience also raises behavioural dimensions so that individuals can control themselves, be confident, and dare to act. These three dimensions serve as provisions for policymakers to internalise the anti-corruption character.
