Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial management accountability of a non-profit organization, particularly Masjid Raya Taqwa Muhammadiyah in Medan, based on the standards outlined in PSAK No. 45. As a non-profit entity, a mosque is obligated to prepare financial statements that are transparent and accountable to maintain public trust, especially from donors. However, the financial reporting practices observed at the mosque remain relatively simple and do not yet comply with PSAK No. 45, which includes the statement of financial position, statement of activities, statement of cash flows, and notes to the financial statements. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with mosque administrators, and documentation of financial records. The study found that the mosque management has shown an effort toward transparency by publicly announcing financial updates to the congregation on a weekly basis. Despite this, financial management practices still fall short of fulfilling both vertical and horizontal accountability as prescribed by PSAK No. 45. The results indicate a need for improved understanding and implementation of non-profit financial reporting standards. Enhancing the capacity of mosque administrators in applying PSAK No. 45 is essential to ensure more systematic, informative, and accountable financial reporting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy and obstacles faced by the Pekanbaru City Government in implementing the parking retribution policy and to provide recommendations to enhance its effectiveness. The research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with relevant officials, particularly those in the Parking Management Unit (UPT Perpakiran) of Pekanbaru City. The study is based on George Edward III’s implementation theory, which consists of four key indicators: communication, resources, disposition (attitude), and bureaucratic structure. The findings reveal several major challenges in implementing the parking retribution policy, including insufficient dissemination of information to parking attendants, inadequate supervision, and low public awareness regarding the importance of parking regulations. Additionally, the management of facilities and human resources remains a challenge in ensuring optimal parking services. To address these issues, this study recommends several measures, such as increasing public outreach and training programs for parking attendants, leveraging technology for more efficient supervision, and conducting educational campaigns to raise public awareness of the benefits of parking retribution for urban development. Enhancing communication between parking coordinators and attendants is also crucial to minimizing miscommunication and improving compliance. It is expected that the findings of this study can serve as valuable input for the Pekanbaru City Government in formulating more effective policies for parking management and local revenue enhancement. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the political strategy of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) in its efforts to increase its seat count in the Rokan Hilir Regency Regional Representative Council (DPRD) in the 2019 Legislative Election. The study focuses on the party's offensive and defensive strategies, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing their success. The research method used was a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results indicate that PKS implemented an offensive strategy through expanding its voter base, penetrating relevant local issues, recruiting potential legislative candidates, and employing creative digital and volunteer-based campaigns. Meanwhile, its defensive strategy involved consolidating its loyalist base, strengthening its cadre network, and maintaining emotional connections with regular voters through social and religious programs. The success of this strategy is reflected in the significant increase in PKS's seat count, from one seat in the 2014 election to four seats in the 2019 election (KPU data, 2019).Despite this, PKS also faced several obstacles, such as limited campaign funds and the strong dominance of major parties like PDI-P, Golkar, and Nasdem, which already had established political bases in Rokan Hilir. However, through an intensive and consistent grassroots approach, PKS succeeded in penetrating some strategic voter bases, particularly among religious communities and youth. This study concludes that PKS's success in increasing its electability and political representation in Rokan Hilir was the result of a comprehensive strategy, adaptive to local dynamics, and supported by the militancy of party cadres and volunteers. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other political parties in formulating winning strategies in this competitive region Keyword: Political strategy, Prosperous Justice Party, 2019 Election, Rokan Hilir, base consolidation, political campaign.

Abstract

Despite the fact that micronutrients are crucial for the growth, metabolism, and crop yield of plants, they are required in relatively small proportions. The recent advancements in agriculture have resulted in the development of biostimulant products that are abundant in micronutrients which is advantageous. The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the potential of micronutrient-enriched biostimulants (MB) to enhance the quality characteristics of chili fruits. This study was conducted at Jatinangor, West Java. The experimental plots were laid out in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with seven treatments and repeated four times, so the total number of treatments was 28 units. The treatments consist of farmer practice and doses of 0.75; 1.0; 1.5; 2.0; 2.5 and 3.0 L ha-1 MB. The results of this experiment indicated that the treatments with doses of 2.0–3.0 L ha-1 were consistently preferable in terms of fruit quality, yield, and growth. Plants that were more productive, capable of grading fruit, and had a slightly extended shelf life after harvest were the final result of the biostimulant product, which contained micronutrients. The farmer's practice consistently failed to meet the standards of all the treated sites. The combination of biostimulants and micronutrients significantly enhanced the physiological and reproductive functions of chilies.

Abstract

One of the important mechanical parts of the Commuter Line electric train (KRL) that must be considered in designing is the door. This is because it experiences lateral loads when the train is operating. KRL doors consist of a frame, outer layer as skin, glass, and filling material which is usually filled with a honeycomb sandwich structure. As a door filling material, the honeycomb sandwich board has the largest volume compared to other door components, causing it to be heavier. This study focuses on optimizing the thickness of the cell wall to reduce the weight of the honeycomb sandwich board while still maintaining its mechanical strength and safety. Optimization was carried out using the finite element method (MEH) by comparing 6 door models. The thickness of the cell wall was varied between 0.0508; 0.0635; and 0.0762 mm with polypropylene and aluminum alloy 5052-H34 used as the material. Korean Railway Standards (KRS CB 0001-10 (R)) on “Entrance Door for Electric Car” and the Law of Indonesia Transportation Minister, PM. 175, 2015 on “Standard Technical Specification for Self-Propelled Normal Speed Trains” was adopted in the numerical calculation (MEH). The results showed that the door of the Commuter Line model 1 showed a weight reduction of up to 1.95% from the existing model, with a total weight of 31,816 kg. With a load of 588.4 N, the door design experienced a stress of 21 MPa and a deflection of 1.33 mm (maximum). When the load was 980.67 N, the door design experienced a stress of 35 MPa and a maximum deflection of 2.2 mm. With both loads, the proposed design still met the regulations of the Minister of Transportation.
