Abstract

Acts of terror invariably commence with the cultivation of radicalism, making it imperative to implement preventive measures to curtail the proliferation of these extremist ideologies. Particularly noteworthy is the rise of social radicalism, which requires vigilant attention. The recent uptick in religious radicalism further underscores the urgency of fostering a preventive mindset. The objective of this initiative is to instill a preventive attitude among the residents of Gunungpati District in Semarang City, countering the influences of both terrorism and radicalism. Simultaneously, it seeks to offer valuable insights to the government, outlining necessary actions to provide legal protection for the people of Gunungpati District against religious sects associated with terrorism and radicalism. In collaboration with the Ats-Tsaqofah Semarang Foundation, an institution dedicated to community empowerment, particularly in the realm of religious morality development, this activity employs a combination of lecture, dialogue, and focused discussion methods. The utilization of the brainstorming method from the audience further enhances the initiative, extracting their initial knowledge about terrorism and radicalism. The anticipated outcome of this collaborative effort is the cultivation of preventive attitudes within society, acting as a counterforce against the infiltration of radical ideologies. By leveraging educational and community-based strategies, the initiative aims to equip individuals with the awareness and resilience needed to resist the allure of radicalism, thereby contributing to the overall security and well-being of the Gunungpati community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the good biopotting composition for the growth of sengon seedlings and its resistance in nursery. This research was conducted at the BPDASHL Kahayan nursery and at the UPT Integrated Laboratory of the University of Palangka Raya. The research method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with treatments: 30% clay + 70% peat soil (L1Gm1), 30% clay + 70% sawdust (L1Gr1), 30% clay + 70% dry compost (L1Kr1 ), 50% clay + 50% peat soil (L2Gm2), 50% clay + 50% sawdust (L2Gr2), 50% clay + 50% dry compost (L2Kr2) where each treatment was repeated by 10 times. The data collected and analyzed were the growth of sengon seedling height (cm), sengon seedling diameter (mm), sengon seedling quality index and the level of damage to biopotting. The results of this study indicate that the best treatment for height and diameter growth is composition of 30% clay + 70% dry compost (L1Kr1). This treatment also produces the best Seedling Quality Index. Meanwhile, the biopotting composition that produces the best resistance is 30% clay + 70% saw dust (L1Gr1).

Abstract

This research examines the development of a media entitled "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" with the aim of improving the mathematical problem-solving abilities of 2nd grade elementary school students. This media is designed with an interactive approach to address issues in mathematics education for students with low problem-solving abilities. This research uses Research and Development research with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluating) development model. The research subjects were the Tingkir Lor 02 Salatiga State Elementary School, the research samples were 2nd grade elementary school students. Validation results from subject matter experts, media experts, and learning experts indicate very high levels of validity, with scores reaching 91.6%, 93.3%, and 75%, respectively with very high category. Media practicality received a percentage of 88% in the very high category from student responses and 92.5% in the very high category from teacher responses. The implementation of the "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" in education is effective, as evidenced by the improvement in post-test scores for second-grade students. Statistical analysis shows significant results (Sig. [2-tailed] = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that "Fraction Puzzle Teka-Teki" is a suitable tool for mathematics education and is effective in enh ancing the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students. indicating an enhancement in mathematical problem-solving abilities following the use of the developed media. Abstract

As access to religious information through digital media and libraries in Indonesia becomes more widespread, patterns of social communication among Muslims are facing new challenges in the form of the spread of uncurated information, differences in interpretation, and the potential for polarization. This situation highlights the need for an in-depth study of the dynamics of social communication among Muslims amid rapid social change. This study uses data collection techniques through in-depth searches of relevant library sources. Data was obtained from books on Islamic communication, library science literature, scientific journal articles, sociological theories, digital library repositories, religious institution reports, and research on da'wah media. All sources were selected systematically based on thematic relevance and scientific credibility. The results of the study show that the dynamics of social communication among Muslims in Indonesia are greatly influenced by library literacy and the flow of digital information. Expanded access to knowledge shapes the way people interact and understand religious teachings, while sociological perspectives explain how digital culture encourages more participatory communication patterns. This research provides a conceptual basis for the development of more adaptive religious information literacy, enabling the community to critically sort through information.

Abstract

Communication between parents and children is vital in shaping character, attitudes, and the overall quality of family relationships. In Islam, this communication is regarded as an essential aspect of education and moral guidance. This study seeks to delve into the ethics of communication between parents and children as grounded in Islamic teachings by examining the normative values present in the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as their relevance in contemporary Muslim family life. The research employs a qualitative approach, conducting a literature review that analyzes primary sources, including verses from the Qur'an and Hadith, along with secondary sources such as books, scholarly articles, and academic studies addressing family communication and Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic communication ethics emphasize principles such as gentleness (qaulan layyinan), honesty, patience, wisdom, exemplary behavior, and mutual respect between parents and children, all of which are foundational for fostering harmonious family relationships rooted in spiritual values. Additionally, ethical communication has been found to significantly contribute to instilling moral values, enhancing emotional closeness, and preventing conflicts within families. This study offers both theoretical insights into the development of family communication studies based on Islamic values and practical guidance for parents and educators in implementing ethical communication practices to cultivate families that are socially, emotionally, and spiritually fulfilled.
