Abstract

This research aims to describe the perception of geography education students about implementation of educational field practice (PLK), which is divided into three stages, i.e. 1) pre-activity, 2) implementation of activities, and 3) post-activity. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method which using questionnaire as the research instrument. The population of this research is 113 students of geography education 2015 who had implemented PLK. The research sample was 86 students based on the Kracjie table and selected by the simple random sampling method. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of geography education students about the implementation of PLK are in the sufficient category in the value range 78-121, with details in the pre-activity stage is in the deficient category, the implementation stage is in the sufficient category, and the post-activity stage in the good category.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe, analyze and discuss the implementation of monitoring of the Covid-19 health protocol at the Istano Basa Pagaruyung tourist attraction. This type of researchIis aIqualitative descriptiveIstudy. TheItechnique of determining informants is purposive sampling. TheIresults ofItheIstudy found 1) The management of tourist objects at the Pagaruyung Palace made policies according to the Covid-19 health protocol. Such as providing a place to wash hands, wear a mask and keep a distance. 2) Workers direct visitors to the hand washing area, telling each visitor to always keep their distance and check the masks. if visitors are caught not keeping their distance, the officer or worker will directly reprimand or loudspeaker. When visitors in a group of officers or workers give a little leeway by not having to maintain a distance of 1 meter between fellow groups, but the group is prohibited from gathering with other groups of visitors. 3) Before visiting, tourists check their health condition, wear masks, keep their distance and wash their hands.

Abstract

Some areas in Padang city experienced drought in September 2019. Based on BMKG data in that month the lowest rainfall (85.2 mm/mo) during 2019. BPBD mentions drought-affected areas, namely South Padang District and Lubuk Kilangan Subdistrict. The area is within the scope of Bt. Arau watershed. The purpose of this study is to find out the distribution area of potential water infiltration, the area of distribution of potential drought and its relationship. In determining the potential of water infiltration using parameters of soil type, rainfall, slope slope and land use. While the potential drought utilizes Landsat 8 Image for NDVI Transformation, Brightness, Wetness Index and its fisiographic influence. The methods used are overlay and scoring. As well as relationship determination using the Pearson Product Moment method in the R programming language. The results of this study obtained water infiltration conditions in the Bt. Arau watershed dominant in good condition with an area of 9788.7 Ha (56%) of the total area. While the potential for drought is in a rather high class of 10193.3 Ha (58.6%) of the total area. The results of the correlation test showed a correlated significance (having a relationship). As well as the correlation coefficient -0.31 means having sufficient relationship criteria and the direction of the relationship is reversed. Abstract

This study aims to discribe 1) houseold waste management in Salareh Aia village, 2) waste disposal or destruction behavior by housewives and working mothers in Salareh Aia village, and 3) factors that influence the behavior of housewives and mothers works on houseold waste management in the Salareh Aia village. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive. Using the informant selection techniques purposif sampling. Data collection technique using observation, interviews and documentation. The result showed that 1) management houseold wastein Salareh Aia village was still low, because the waste sorting was not carried out by housewives while wprking mothers who carried out waste sorting were only carried out by mothers who work as teachers and midwives. The waste management model yhat is carried out appliying the R2model (Reuse). 2) the behavior of culling or disposing of garbage by housewives and working mothers is three a) Dumping In water (throwing garbage into the river), b) Dumping (throwing garbage into canyons or ravines and roads), c) Incenaration (burning rubbish). 3) the factors the influebce housewives and working mothers in waste management in Salareh Aia village are three a) education, b) the role of government and community leaders, and c) facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation in online learning of geography in class X students of social science at SMA N 3 Padang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the research subjects are students of class X IPS in the Geography subject of SMA Negeri 3 Padang. The instrument used was a questionnaire, compiled using google form and distributed into the class WhatsApp Group application. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, the number of respondents was 79 students. The results of this study are that there is a significant influence between learning motivation on student learning outcomes of class X SMAN 3 Padang with a value of r count = 0.299> r table = 0.221 and the value of tcount = 2.752> t table = 1.664.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the roof of Padang States University (UNP) Central Campus building that is suitable for photovoltaic installation on UNP central campus, West Air Tawar, Padang with several criteria for conformity of PV installation in the scope of spatial science. This type of research is quantitative. The data used in this study are insolation data in 2019, DEMNAS, building shapefiles, and building height data. The analysis used is Elevation Pixel Manipulation to obtain total building elevation, Solar Radiation Area to obtain insolation data received by the roof of the building, and conditional criteria of roofing buildings suitable for PV. The results of this study showed from 81,652.71 m2 roof area of buildings spread across various faculties (including graduate buildings), 81,080.65 m2 which is indicated suitable for PV installations, and amounted to 572.06 m2 or 0.7 percent of the total building roof area due to having insolation of less than 800 kWh/m2 and a total area of less than 30 m2.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ecological character and elements of the landscape in the Harau Valley Geoheritage tourism area, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. Types of quantitative descriptive research in the form of research with methods or case studies. Data were analyzed using ovaly technique with ArcGIS application and literature study. The results of the study found that the ecological zone in the Harau Valley Geoheritage area is divided into three ecological zones, namely a low ecological zone, a medium ecological zone, and a high ecological zone. The Geoheritage of the Harau Valley is in a zone dominated by a moderate ecological zone, which is 131.48 km2 or as much as 43% of the total area of ​​Harau District, where management in this area must be based on nature conservation to anticipate natural damage/disasters. Based on the results of landscape identification, the constituent elements of the Harau Valley Geoheritage area have natural features such as forests, waterfalls, hills, and cliffs. Meanwhile, the artificial features in the Harau Valley Geoheritage area are settlements, plantations, and agriculture. The character of the landscape in the Harau Valley Geoheritage area is dominated by natural features. Keywords: Geoheritage, Harau Valley, Ecological Zone

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the correlation of environmental knowledge to caring attitudes, know the correlation of social interaction to caring attitudes, and know the correlation of environmental knowledge and social interaction to caring attitudes. This research location takes place at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Padang State University. The population of this study is all students visitors to Selasar Faculty of Social Sciences Universitas Negeri Padang. Samples in accidental sampling. The results showed that environmental knowledge had no correlation to caring attitudes, this was evidenced by significant values of 0.494 > 0.05 and Fhitung (0.884) < Ftabel (3.14). The variable of social interaction there is a correlation to caring attitudes, this is evidenced by the significant value of 0.001 < 0.05 or Fhitung 12,239 > Ftabel 3.14 and simultaneously from both independent variables there is a significant correlation to caring attitudes, this is evidenced from Fhitung (6,308) > Ftabel (3.14) with a significant value of 0.003 < 0.05 then H0 rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Obtain data about analyzing and discussing data about the contribution of working housewives to family income 2) Knowing the contribution of working housewives to the availability of clothing at home 3) Knowing the extent of the contribution of working housewives on the availability of household food. 4) Knowing the contribution of working housewives to the availability of household boards 5) Knowing the educational background of working housewives 6) Knowing the extent of the health condition of the working housewives' families. The population in this study were 1181 people, and the sample was taken by 5% of the population, namely 60 samples. This type of research is classified as quantitative descriptive. Because this research is essentially attempted to describe the research variables as described in the problem formulation. The results of this study indicate the following: 1) The contribution of working housewives to family welfare is for the contribution of 20 – 30% as many as 10 respondents (16.6%), while for the contribution of 31 – 40% as many as 33 respondents (55%) , and for the contribution <40% as many as 17 respondents (28.3%). So it can be concluded that the average contribution of the majority of housewives is in the 31-40% category as many as respondents (55%). The income condition of housewives in Kemantan Village, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency mostly ranges between Rp. 500,000 – Rp 800,000/month, which is 34 people. 2) The condition of meeting the family needs of housewives who work in the village of Kemantan, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency in meeting the needs of clothing (clothing) has an average score of 3 which is in the medium category 3) Conditions for fulfilling the needs of the family of housewives who work in Kemantan Village, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency in meeting food needs (food) has an average score of 2.9 which is in the medium category, 4) Conditions for fulfilling the ability of the family of housewives who work in Kemantan Tinggi Village, Air Hangat Timur District Kerinci Regency in meeting the housing needs has an average score of 2.8 which is in the medium category. 5) The condition of the family of housewives who work in Kemantan Village, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency in meeting educational needs has an average score of 2.9 which is in the medium category, with the highest frequency being 56.3% which is classified as in the moderately capable category. 6) The condition of the ability of housewives' families who work in Kemantan Village, Air Hangat Timur District, Kerinci Regency in meeting health needs has an average score of 2.7 which is in the medium category, with the highest frequency being 53.3% belonging to in the moderately capable category. Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Project-Based Blended Learning Models Using Geo-Augmented Reality on Geography Learning Outcomes of Class X Students at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The research method used is quasi experiment with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all class X IIS students at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP which amounted to 121 students. The sampling technique used in this study was Purposive Sampling, which was 60 students from class X IIS 1 and X IIS 3. Data collection techniques through observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique is an independent sample t-test (t-test) technique. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the influence of the Project-Based Blended Learning learning model using Geo-Augmented Reality on Basic Competence 3.7 (Hydrosphere Dynamics) is better than conventional learning models. With a value of Sig. (2- tailed) of 0.000 which is less than 0.05, so it can be decided that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
