In the 21st century, students from all levels of education face extreme global competition, technology that is driven by information, and rapid media-saturation. These dramatic accelerational challenges are the reason why the educational system must prepare students with the skills needed in the era of globalization. Based on a document published by The Board of National Education Standards in 2010 on the importance of establishing a framework for 21st-century education in Indonesia, the necessity of appropriate standards has become very important to the current educational system. This paper aims to discuss conceptual frameworks for prospective science teachers in Indonesia. Using an extensive literature review of three document (P21, enGauge-21CS, and ATC21S) and group discussion with a two-round Delphi study, we have constructed the Indonesian Partnership for 21st-Century Skills Standards (IP-21CSS) based on an agreement between 15 panelists. From the results of this study, we have established four IP-21CSS that were perceived by panelists as appropriate standards for prospective science teachers in Indonesia ranging from 4.5 to 5 or in the high level. These standards include: (1) 4Cs (critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication); (2) ICTs (technology, media, and information literacy); (3) spiritual values (religious beliefs and spiritual awareness); and (4) character building (teachers’ attitudes and scientific attitudes). Therefore, it concludes that the implementation of 21st-century education learning that emphasizes each IP-21CSS indicator needs to be considered as an essential component in the courses process for prospective science teachers in Indonesia.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi membawa perubahan sangat besar, khususnya pada bidang Pendidikan terapan. Zaman yang terus berubah menjadikan pendidik di era modern harus melakukan inovasi dan kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran di kelas maupun di luar kelas. Masalah yang umum dirasakan pendidik era modern ini adalah sulitnya menemukan metode yang tepat dan praktis dalam memanfaatkan tehnologi dalam pembelajaran kelas. Penelitian lapang yang telah dilaksanakan pada dua kelas yang berbeda yaitu kelas kedokteran umum dan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan Universitas Tanjungpura telah menunjukan hasil dan data secara deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membuktikan bahwa discord dapat dijadikan media dan sarana pembelajaran berbasis online. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan melihat kondisi pembelajaran pada saat menggunakan aplikasi discord yang mampu menciptakan iklim debat sosial antara dua kelas berbeda yang interaktif, menyenangkan dan santai. Manfaat praktis juga dirasakan pendidik dan mahasiswa dalam sharing keilmuan, sehingga discord dapat menjadi sebuah solusi praktis dan alternatif dalam kuliah online.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan keterampilan argumentasi siswa di SMAN 1 Sungai Pinyuh materi struktur dan fungsi sel pada sistem reproduksi, mengetahui proses pengembangan perangkat dengan model Argument Driven Inquiry disertai Socioscientific Issues, dan mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model Four-D. Pada penelitian ini direduksi menjadi model pengembangan Three-D meliputi tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan) dan develop (pengembangan) sampai pada langkah expert appraisal (penilaian ahli). Hasil keterampilan argumentasi siswa berada pada kategori cukup dan berada pada level 1, 2 dan 3. Desain perangkat pembelajaran mengikuti tahapan dari Thiagarajan, dkk dan tidak ditemukan kesulitan yang signifikan dalam mengikuti tahapan tersebut. Perangkat pembelajaran model ADI disertai SSI yaitu RPP dan handout dari segi validitas dan reliabilitas telah memenuhi kriteria yang baik.

Penggunaan media pembelajaran sebagai sumber belajar sangat penting untuk membantu menjelaskan materi yang diajarkan agar lebih optimal. Pemilihan media juga harus menyesuaikan kebutuhan peserta didik. Permasalahan yang dialami yaitu kebutuhan akan media yang dapat mencakup banyak materi yang banyak dan dapat diterapkan pada peserta didik yang memiliki karakteristik pembelajaran auditori dan visual. Media film dokumenter dibuat bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut sehingga ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran akan berhasil. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Development Research dan di validasi oleh 5 validator yang diuji dengan validasi Aiken’s V serta uji reliabilitas Intraclass Correlation Coefficient. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media film dokumenter layak digunakan dan masih ada kriteria yang harus diperbaiki pada media. Pada uji reliabilitas diperoleh nilai Alpha 0,757 dengan kategori cukup memuaskan dan nilai Intraclass Correlation Coefficient yaitu 0,384 dikategorikan kurang memuaskan. The use of learning media as a learning resource is very important to help explain the material being taught to be more optimal. However, media selection must also match the needs of students. The problem experienced is the need for media that can accommodate a lot of material and can be applied to students who have auditory and visual learning characteristics. Documentary film media is made to aim to answer this problem so that the achievement of the learning objectives will be successful. This research used Development Research method and validated by 5 validators who were tested with Aiken V validation and thereliability test Intraclass Correlation Coefficient. The results of this study indicate that documentary film media is suitable for use and there are still criteria that must be improved on the media. The reliability test shows anvalue of Alpha 0.757 with a satisfactory category and an Intraclass Correlation Coefficient value of 0.384. Keywords: documentary film; feasibility; learning media

Indonesian education currently focuses on improving 21st-century skills, one of which is scientific literacy. This study aims to provide information related to the profile of general science knowledge and attitudes towards science and the relationship between scientific knowledge and attitudes towards science. This research was a quantitative descriptive study using the High School General Science Knowledge Survey and Modified Attitudes toward Science Inventory instrument. The correlation of the two variables has been tested by the Pearson Product moment test using SPSS with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the student's general science knowledge achievement was in the medium category with an average score of 44.06. Students have the lowest achievement in the aspect of designing and evaluating scientific investigations and the highest in the aspect of explaining scientific phenomena. Attitudes towards science on the indicators of perception of the teacher and the value of science to society showed positive approval in the high category, while attitudes toward the indicators of anxiety towards science, confidence in science, and the desire to do science were in the medium category. The results of the correlation test found the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.114 > 0.05. Thus, it was concluded that there was no significant effect between attitudes towards science and knowledge of science.

The development of learning tools with a SETS approach is considered important to foster student interest in learning and critical thinking as well as to instill and improve the level of environmental literacy of Indonesian students which is still relatively low. This study aims to determine the analysis of the needs of SETS-based learning tools, to know the process of developing SETS-based learning tools, and to determine the validity and reliability of SETS-based learning tools. The development in this study uses a 4-D model development with stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Then it is reduced to 3-D with the stages of define (defining), design (design), develop (development). This research produces a product in the form of learning tools, namely RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) and SETS-based modules. The lesson plans and modules that have been developed are then validated by five validators, namely three lecturers of Biology Education FKIP Untan, one teacher from MA Darul Ulum, and one teacher at SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya. The results of the validation of the learning tools were obtained and declared valid with the average acquisition of Aiken's V calculation of 0.84 with a minimum value of 0.80. The reliability of this learning device was tested using the ICC (Interclass Correlation Coefficient) technique with the help of the SPSS program. The reliability of the RPP obtained a result of 0.520 with a moderate category and there was an agreement between raters, while the reliability of the module obtained a result of 0.536 with moderate reliability and agreement between raters.

The Circular of the Director-General of Higher Education No. 152/E/T/2012 contains the mandatory scientific publications for undergraduate/S2/S3 students as one of the graduation requirements. This circular is effective starting after graduation after August 2012. Since the regulation on scientific publications for these students was enacted, the biology education study program of FKIP Untan also enforced rules for publishing student research results in scientific journals. Based on the obstacles faced by students, this PKM is focused on providing training to students, how to submit articles to accredited national journals, and providing tips and tricks so that articles made by students can be accepted and published in accredited national Scopus indexed international journals. This program aims to help and train teacher candidates to publish articles made in accredited national journals and international journals. The stages in this activity are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The implementation stage has been carried out through the "Workshop Submit and Publication of Accredited National Journals for Biology Education Students" held on June 12, 2021, attended by 200 students of all generations. This activity is expected to help students in choosing journals. Submitting and publishing scientific articles on the results of research that has been carried out.

This study aimed to identify STEM PCK competence and barometer for gen z and millennial teachers in West Kalimantan as the authority successor subject in the future education with an evaluation stage which was expected as a further step taken so that progression scale realized and had implications for education advancement, especially in West Kalimantan. Respondents involved in this study amounted to 41 teachers aged 23 to 30 years spread over 14 districts/cities in West Kalimantan applying probability sampling technique. The instrument used is STEM PCK questionnaire adopted from Yildirim and Sahin (2019) which consists of 56 statements consisting of 12 statements related to pedagogy, 14 statements of 21st century skills knowledge, and 30 other questions related to STEM PCK knowledge, the data obtained through the use of a Likert rating scale, then each respondent will be classified into 3 levels, namely high, medium and low using the interpretation of the average score on the Likert scale. The result showed that in general there are 5 respondents or 12.2% who are in the high category and 36 other respondents or 87.8% are in the low category, and there are no respondents who are in the low category, it can be interpreted that although there is no respondents who had low STEM PCK competence, however, there are many millennial teachers in West Kalimantan on a medium scale who are needed to be able to implement every aspect of STEM PCK in learning optimally so that dynamic educational standards are realized with global demands in the modern era.

Abstract This research was conducted to determine the extent of digital literacy in learning content, especially on learning media at SDN 01 Teluk Batang. The method used is descriptive qualitative to present an overview of the use of digital media in high grade learning at SDN 01 Teluk Batang. This research was carried out at SDN 01 Teluk Batang. The sample is High class, namely grades 4, 5 and 6 of SD Negeri 01 Teluk Batang. The results of this study indicate that digital literacy in the high-class learning process at SD Negeri 01 Teluk Batang has used digital media in the learning carried out so that students are motivated in learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dan deskripsi keterampilan pada setiap indikator pemecahan masalah IDEAL siswa SMA kelas X pada materi virus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA pada salah satu SMA Swasta sebanyak 29 siswa yang telah mempelajari materi virus. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes uraian keterampilan pemecahan masalah IDEAL yang berjumlah 20 soal yang terdiri dari 5 indikator IDEAL Problem Solving dari Bransford and Stein. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan deskripsi keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa memiliki persentase sebesar 53% dengan kategori tidak terampil. Adapun rincian dari data penelitian keretampilan pemecahan masalah pada kategori cukup terampil yaitu indikator mengidentifikasi masalah sebesar 68% dan menentukan tujuan 75%, kategori tidak terampil yaitu indikator mengeksplorasi strategi yang mungkin sebesar 36%, mengantisipasi hasil dan bertindak sebesar 47%, dan indikator melihat dan belajar sebesar 40%. Melalui penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa faktor yang menjadi penghambat keterampilan pemecahan masalah tidak terampil yaitu minat siswa, kemampuan kognitif siswa yang rendah, dan kurang membiasakan memecahkan soal-soal yang bersifat problem solving.
