Abstract

Abstrak. Technology has become an integral part of human life, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Modern businesses also operate within a digital environment that connects individuals and organizations. The digital world is a global phenomenon, fully driven and supported by new technologies. Digitally and fundamentally, the millennial generation must be able to utilize digital technology, have the tools and infrastructure to leverage it, and effectively use social media as a marketing tool for their companies.The approach taken in composing this article involves carefully gathering information from reputable national publications and employing a qualitative research approach. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the challenges and opportunities arising from the rapid innovation in ICT and to explore how future developments are likely to shape global society. The main challenges include the significant digital divide between developed and developing regions, concerns over data security and privacy, and the need to strengthen the workforce’s readiness for digital transformation.On the other hand, ICT advancements present substantial opportunities for the future. Technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain enable the creation of new innovations, accelerate digital transformation processes, and enhance operational efficiency across various industries. Moreover, these technologies have great potential to support the growth of the digital economy, create new job opportunities, and improve people’s quality of life.

This research proposes the development of a dynamic model to evaluate the performance of Management Information Systems (MIS) in the public sector. This model is designed to address the complexity and dynamics inherent in the public sector environment, as well as the need for continuous and adaptive evaluation. By integrating a dynamic systems approach and existing MIS evaluation frameworks, this model offers a comprehensive tool for public sector stakeholders in assessing and improving the effectiveness of their MIS.

Abstract

The development of information technology and digitalization has transformed many aspects of life, including the global financial sector. In recent decades, technological innovations such as blockchain have accelerated the transformation of how we conduct transactions and manage assets, shifting processes from manual systems to more efficient digital ones. Blockchain, which underpins cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, enables peer-to-peer transactions without intermediaries, enhancing security, transparency, and efficiency. However, despite offering many advantages, the implementation of this technology faces regulatory challenges that vary across countries and cybersecurity risks. Through a literature review, this study aims to analyze the benefits and risks of implementing blockchain in digital currency and its impact on the global financial system. The findings indicate that blockchain has significant potential to improve financial inclusion and operational efficiency. However, challenges such as the volatility of digital currencies and impacts on the traditional financial sector need to be addressed. With the introduction of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), there is an opportunity for more effective monetary policy management. Therefore, investment in robust infrastructure and enhanced cybersecurity is crucial to ensure the safe and efficient adoption of blockchain technology.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an explanation of the application of digital money transactions to the efficiency of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, at this point in the face of developments in financial technology, which require cloth to adapt to increase competitiveness and operational efficiency. The research method used is a qualitative approach, the same as data collection. The results show that the use of office money can make it easier to record formal transactions in the nature of payment processes, as well as reduce the risk of shortages of chemical money, namely. However, challenges such as limited understanding of technology and internet network constraints are still obstacles. Scientific studies have gathered that the implementation of digital money transactions has the potential to increase the operational efficiency of MSMEs, although there is a need for education and supporting infrastructure so that the benefits are more optimal.

Abstract

In today's digital era, organizations face the challenge of enhancing their competitiveness in an increasingly competitive environment. One solution adopted is the implementation of Cloud Computing-based Management Information Systems (MIS). This article discusses the implementation of Cloud Computing-based Management Information Systems. This research aims to explore the impact of adopting cloud-based MIS on enhancing organizational competitiveness. Cloud-based MIS allows for the management of data and applications through internet infrastructure, offering flexibility, scalability, and operationasl efficiency. By adopting this technology, organizations can access information in real-time from various locations, support employee mobility, and strengthen strategic decision-making. This research also explores the challenges and benefits faced by organizations during the transition to cloud-based systems and provides recommendations for successful implementation. Key steps in this process include phased implementation, performance monitoring, security evaluation, and integration with existing systems. Cloud-based MIS can provide significant advantages in terms of operational cost reduction, increased flexibility, and the ability of organizations to respond quickly to market changes. However, challenges related to data security and system control must also be considered. Therefore, an appropriate implementation strategy is crucial to ensure the successful adoption of cloud-based MIS.

Abstract

This research is to compare the transaction efficiency between digital money and cash in the context of daily use in Indonesia. The method used is descriptive quantitative analysis by collecting data through surveys and interviews with consumers who frequently use both types of payments. Efficiency is measured based on the time required to make transactions, transaction costs, and user convenience in using digital money and cash. The results show that transactions using digital money are more efficient in terms of time and operational costs compared to using cash, especially in long-distance and small-amount transactions. On the other hand, while cash is still dominant in direct physical transactions, digital money offers advantages in terms of speed and convenience, especially with the growing digital infrastructure in Indonesia. This study concludes that while cash still has an important role to play, digital money shows great potential in improving the efficiency of economic transactions, both in terms of individuals and the payment system as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the integrity of the information management system (SIM) in local community-based industries in the digital age. As the use of digital technology increases, local industry is impacted by new opportunities and challenges in information processing. This study employs a deskriptif kualitatif approach, gathering data through observation, document analysis, and fieldwork in a few local communities that use SIM. The study's findings indicate that factors such as effective communication, human safety, and technological infrastructure have a significant impact on SIM integrity. Even while digital technology can increase productivity and efficiency, there are still issues with how members of the community understand and use it. In addition, the main focus is on issues related to data security and accessibility. This study emphasizes the importance of education for community members and the development of policies that support technology use in a responsible manner.

This study aims to examine the strategy for optimizing reference and master data management with a focus on a systematic approach through the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance policies. The methodology used is a literature study and case study analysis of institutions that have implemented structured data management. The results of the study show that the application of consistent data governance principles, integration of MDM technology, and metadata standardization play a major role in improving data consistency and reliability. The conclusion of this study confirms that optimizing reference and master data management is not only a technical issue, but also strategic and organizational.
