Abstract

The e-BOS application is a web-based reporting system for managing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds used by school operators to digitally report financial data. However, during implementation, various issues related to navigation, clarity of workflow, and reporting efficiency were reported by operators in Kertosono, Patianrowo, Baron, and Ngronggot Districts. These problems indicate that the application’s usability may not be optimal, thus requiring a systematic evaluation to assess user acceptance and application effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate the usability level of the e-BOS web-based reporting system managed by the Education Office of Nganjuk Regency. The research focuses on user experience among BOS operators in four districts using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. A questionnaire consisting of 10 statements was distributed to 100 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using SUS scoring calculation, standard score interpretation, usability acceptability classification, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) categorization. The results show that the e-BOS application achieved an average SUS score of 56.8, categorized as Grade F (Worst Imaginable) and classified as Not Acceptable. Based on NPS, the score falls into the Detractor category, indicating that most users are unwilling to recommend the application to others. The study concludes that the e-BOS system has not met an adequate usability level and requires significant improvement, particularly in interface design, workflow simplification, and user guidance resources. This research is limited to four districts; thus, future studies are recommended to expand the sample coverage and compare usability performance after system improvements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Halving Random Search Cross Validation method as an alternative for hyperparameter optimization in machine learning models compared to Grid Search Cross Validation and Random Search Cross Validation. The dataset used is Internet Service Churn with four algorithms: KNN, Decision Tree, SVM, and Gaussian Naive Bayes. The testing process involves 10-fold cross validation and three repetitions to ensure the validity of the results. The experimental results show that Halving Random Search Cross Validation is able to achieve competitive accuracy, precision, and recall performance (difference < 0.5%) compared to Grid Search in most models, with computational time savings of up to 62–74% on KNN, Decision Tree, and SVM. However, on Gaussian Naive Bayes with a small hyperparameter space, this method is slower due to the successive halving overhead. Random Search shows high speed but less stable on SVM and Gaussian Naive Bayes. The research conclusion states that Halving Random Search Cross Validation is the most balanced method for business cases such as churn prediction, with recommendations for application on complex models and further development using Hyperband or Bayesian Optimization

Abstract

The core problem addressed in this research is the usability challenges of a decision support system for determining product release, which can hinder decision-makers’ effectiveness and user satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the usability of the system and assess its impact on the effectiveness of decision-makers in determining product releases. The method used is a usability test involving direct user interaction with the system, where decision-makers performed predefined tasks. Usability metrics, including task completion time, error rate, and user satisfaction levels, were collected and analyzed to evaluate system performance. The result of this study is that the system facilitates efficient decision-making to a moderate extent. However, specific usability issues, such as navigation complexity and information overload, were identified, which reduced some users’ ability to operate the system seamlessly. Improvements in navigation and information presentation significantly enhanced user experience and decision-making quality. The research concludes that enhancing the usability of decision support systems is essential for maximizing their contribution to decision-making processes. Addressing specific challenges, such as simplifying navigation and optimizing information presentation, can substantially improve decision-maker satisfaction and the overall utility of the system. This study emphasizes the importance of usability-focused design in facilitating effective organizational decision-making.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah aspek yang sangat penting bagi setiap individu, karena melalui pendidikan, kualitas suatu bangsa dapat ditingkatkan, Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mendorong munculnya e-learning sebagai solusi pembelajaran modern. Namun, banyak platform e-learning belum dirancang sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, terutama dalam aspek User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX), sehingga mengakibatkan pengalaman belajar yang kurang efektif. User Centered Design (UCD) adalah metode yang menempatkan pengguna sebagai fokus utama dalam proses desain. SMA xyz telah menerapkan e-learning, namun penggunaannya masih rendah karena tampilan dan fitur yang rumit.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan rekomendasi desain UI e-learning menggunakan metode UCD untuk meningkatkan minat pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan UCD berhasil meningkatkan kualitas antarmuka: learnability naik dari 76% menjadi 100%, efisiensi tugas meningkat dari 0,012 menjadi 0,063 task per second (kategori “Sangat Cepat”), dan evaluasi dengan System Usability Scale(SUS) menunjukan skor SUS naik dari 40,05 (Poor) menjadi 72,18 (Good) menandakan perbaikan signifikan dalam kepuasan dan penerimaan pengguna. Ini membuktikan bahwa UCD efektif dan mampu memberikan solusi konkret terhadap permasalahan desain sistem e-learning.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTBackground Patients with kidney failure who undergo hemodialysis must go to hospital regularly and require non-medical costs such as transportation costs and others. This can definitely affect the patient's quality of life so that going to the hospital regularly and requiring non-medical care costs results in economic losses. Apart from that, it is important for chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis to need family support to produce a good quality of life for the patient and prevent the occurrence of a poor quality of life for the patient which can affect the period of treatment in the hospital. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between economic loss of family support and quality of life in hemodialysis patients. Research method is a quantitative research type with a descriptive cross sectional approach. The sample used was hemodialysis patients at Balaraja Regional Hospital, totaling 71 respondents. Results Statistical test of the relationship between economic loss and quality of life in hemodialysis patients at Balaraja District Hospital with a P-Value of 0.012 0.05. There is a relationship between family support and quality of life in hemodialysis patients at Balaraja District Hospital with a P-Value of 0.011 0.05. Conclusion: In hemodialysis patients, economic losses and family support are related to quality of life. Nurses play an important role in providing support to patients and their families. Suggestions for future researchers could be to consider expanding the scope of the research by involving a more diverse population and sample, both in terms of age and geographical location. Future research is also recommended to explore other influencing factors such as stress levels, social support, or family parenting patterns.                                   ABSTRAKLatar belakang Pasien gagal ginjal dengan menjalani hemodialisa harus rutin ke rumah sakit dan memerlukan biaya non medis seperti biaya transportasi dan lainnya , hal ini pasti dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien sehingga dengan rutin ke rumah sakit dan memerlukan biaya non perawatan medis mengakibatkan terjadinya kerugian ekonomi. Selain itu pentingnya bagi pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa memerlukan dukungan keluarga untuk menghasilkan kualitas hidup pasien dengan baik dan mencegah terjadinya kualitas hidup passien yang buruk yang dapat mempengaruhi masa dalam pengobatannya di rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui antara hubungan kerugian ekonomi dukungan keluarga dan kualitas hidup pada pasien hemodialisis. Metode Penelitian jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional deskriptif sampel yang di gunakan adalah pasien hemodialisis di RSUD Balaraja sebanyak 71 responden. Hasil: adanya hubungan kerugian ekonomi dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien Hemodialisis Di RSUD Balaraja dengan nilai P-Value 0,012 0,05. adanya hubungan Dukungan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien Hemodialisis Di RSUD Balaraja dengan nilai P-Value 0,011 0,05. Kesimpulan pada pasien hemodialisis, kerugian ekonomi dan dukungan keluarga berhubungan dengan kualitsa hidup. perawat memainkan peran penting dalam membrikan support kepada pasien dan keluarga mereka. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat mempertimbangkan untuk memperluas cakupan penelitian dengan melibatkan populasi dan sampel yang lebih beragam, baik dari segi usia maupun lokasi geografis. Penelitian mendatang juga disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi seperti tingkat stres, dukungan sosial, atau pola asuh keluarga

Abstract

The growth of the online gaming industry has led to the emergence of microtransaction-based business models, where players can purchase virtual items using real money. One of the games implementing this model is Genshin Impact, which has attracted a wide audience through its gacha system and diverse character content. This study aims to identify the factors that influence players' decisions to purchase virtual items in Genshin Impact using the Naive Bayes classification method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire involving 314 respondents. The analyzed variables include play duration, satisfaction with the gacha system, costumes, storyline, social influence, and previous purchase experience. The model was developed using the Gaussian Naive Bayes algorithm and validated through the Stratified K-Fold Cross-Validation method. The results show that the model achieved an accuracy of 80.57% in classifying purchase decisions. While the model performed well in identifying players who made purchases, its performance in classifying non-purchasing players requires improvement. This research is expected to serve as a reference for understanding player purchasing behavior and developing digital marketing strategies in the online gaming industry.

Abstract

Ngengat penggerek batang raksasa (Phragmataecia castanea Hubner) sangat tertarik pada cahaya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodifikasi perangkap cahaya ngengat penggerek batang raksasa yang lebih sederhana, mudah dan murah. Pengamatan dilakukan di petak 3827, 3927, 3831, 3825, 3925 Afdeling IV Rayon Bulu Cina, Kebun Sei Semayang, MKSO PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara, Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Perangkap menggunakan lampu batrei isi ulang (rechargeable lamp) 15 Watt yang digantungkan di dalam jirigen volume 20 liter. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan perangkap modifikasi sama efektifnya dengan perangkap konvensional yang menggunakan layar plastik. Ngengat jantan lebih tertarik pada cahaya dibanding ngengat betina. Puncak penerbangan ngengat terjadi sekitar 30 menit setelah matahari tenggelam hingga 1,5 jam setelahnya.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) model for tuna trash fish in the coastal area of Pasuruan by involving three leading actors in the supply chain: fishermen, collectors, and processing businesses. The approach method used is the Rapid Appraisal for Fisheries (RAPFISH), based on Multidimensional Scaling (MDS), to evaluate the level of sustainability across environmental, social, and economic dimensions. The results show that collectors are in the fairly sustainable category (73.50%), while fishermen (55.62%) and Micro enterprise of trash fish type tuna (55.27%) are at the lower limit of the same category. The main levers for each actor include occupational safety, labor cost efficiency, and working environment conditions. The main conclusion states that the sustainability of the tuna supply chain still requires cross-dimensional improvements. The implications of these results underscore the importance of targeted actor capacity-building strategies, such as occupational safety training for fishermen, digitizing collector administration, and enhancing consumer services in micro enterprises of trash fish type Tuna, as well as opening up opportunities for further research based on an integrative approach to support long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengkaji bagaimana nilai-nilai moderasi beragama diterapkan dalam pembinaan rumah tangga pada masyarakat Kelurahan Dufa-Dufa, Kecamatan Ternate Utara. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan participatory action reseach dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, Focus Group Discussion, wawancara dan angket.Temuan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman masyarakat terhadap moderasi beragama berada pada kategori tinggi, terutama terkait sikap toleran, kemampuan berdialog, dan komitmen anti-kekerasan. Pembinaan rumah tangga di wilayah ini berlangsung secara relatif harmonis melalui komunikasi, musyawarah, serta penguatan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Adat lokal seperti Adat Seatorang dan Balakusu Sekano-Kano berperan sebagai pilar harmoni dalam menanamkan nilai keselarasan, penghargaan, dan penyelesaian konflik secara damai dalam keluarga. Meski demikian, tantangan masih ditemui, antara lain perbedaan budaya pasangan, terbatasnya pemahaman tentang manajemen konflik, serta belum meratanya pemahaman moderasi beragama di seluruh keluarga.Pelaksanaan program pengabdian berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat, program ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi nilai moderasi beragama dengan adat lokal merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam menciptakan keluarga yang harmonis di lingkungan multikultural

Abstract

Halal food certification in the university canteen needs to prepare Halal Assurance System (HAS) implementation. Halal Control Point (HCP) traceability in the canteen is very complicated because it has several menus, processes, and materials. This study aims to trace the HCP on materials, processing and serving in Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Canteen, then provide improvement. This research used seven criteria of HAS-23102 for a restaurant to evaluate the menus, ingredients, production, and serving in UB Canteen. HCP traceability was done on 60 menus from 4 food tenants and one beverage tenant. The results showed that grouping the menus and ingredients facilitates HCP identification. The menu consists of six groups: soup, deep-fried, stir-fried, strong spices dish, medium soup, and beverages. The materials consist of fresh ingredients, dry ingredients, and liquids. The menus required 113 materials. There are 16 (14%) materials HCP, including chicken, beef, noodles, and soy sauce. HCP materials do not meet HAS criteria and be replaced with halal-certified material or halal production process (HPP) description from the producer that needs to be checked by a halal auditor. The HCP did not found in the process and serving because the canteen does not produce and service haram (unlawful) products. Still, there is contamination possibility of haram and najis (unclean in Islamic terms) materials. For prevention, the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) of production, serving the tenant, employee, and visitor need to be applied. The alternatives are supplying chicken meat and beef from a halal-certified slaughterhouse, monitoring and controlling the tenants' kitchen periodically three months, applying the halal standard for storage in tenant's kitchen and canteen facilities, and food serving in canteen. The HCP traceability of the university canteen according to halal standards, including raw materials, additional materials, processes, and serving, including the equipment used.
