Abstract

The vast diversity that exists in Indonesia, aside from being a valuable national asset, can also become a trigger for conflict. Many conflicts and disputes arise due to differences in background, such as ethnicity, race, religion, and others. This study aims to explore the extent to which Pancasila Education can contribute to multicultural life in schools and to analyze how far it can shape and instill multicultural values that embrace diversity within the school environment. The findings of this study were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving research subjects including Pancasila Education teachers, the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, and students. The collected data were then analyzed. The results indicate that Pancasila Education plays a significant role in the multicultural lives of students at school. Students believe that Pancasila Education provides them with a deeper understanding of multicultural values such as tolerance, democracy, justice, and equality. Pancasila Education is vital in fostering multiculturalism among high school students because it is fundamentally a subject that emphasizes character, values, and morals. It not only teaches theoretical concepts but also stresses the importance of applying those concepts in daily life. This research is beneficial for various stakeholders to understand and strengthen multiculturalism, especially in schools, by promoting attitudes such as tolerance, democracy, justice, and equality, which are essential for building and maintaining harmony and unity within the school community.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted public financial management in Indonesia. To strengthen good governance, which encompasses transparency, accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness, the government introduced the Local Government Information System (SIPD). The implementation of this system is regulated under Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 70 of 2019 and further reinforced by Circular Letter No. 500.5.4/48/SJ of 2023, which mandates all local governments to adopt SIPD starting in the 2024 fiscal year. SIPD replaces the Regional Management Information System (SIMDA), which was considered to have limitations in integration, slow processes, and inconsistencies in financial reporting. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SIPD and its impact on the quality of financial reporting at the Human Resources and Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Subulussalam City. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study design, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research informants are employees directly involved in SIPD operations and financial report preparation. The findings indicate that SIPD enhances the quality of financial reporting in four aspects of the Government Accounting Standards (SAP). Relevance improves as reports are more timely and useful for decision-making; reliability increases through automated validation, though network disruptions and system errors remain obstacles; comparability is achieved because SIPD produces standardized national reports; and consistency is strengthened through uniform reporting procedures, thereby improving the credibility of financial information. However, the study also identifies challenges, including limited technical competence among employees, insufficient training, and inadequate infrastructure. These findings suggest that the success of SIPD largely depends on human resource readiness and technological support.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the portrayal of love languages in Kristy Boyce’s novel Hot British Boyfriend (2021) by applying Gary Chapman’s Five Love Languages framework, which consists of words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on narrative excerpts, dialogues, and character actions that reflect the expressions of love between the protagonist, Ellie, and two male characters, Will and Dev. The findings reveal that Dev demonstrates stronger consistency in using supportive and meaningful love expressions, particularly through quality time and acts of service, which highlight his emotional investment and stability in the relationship. In contrast, Will is portrayed as more focused on physical touch and surface-level affirmations, suggesting a less emotionally grounded approach to love. These results show that the use of Chapman’s theory provides valuable insights into how adolescent romance is represented in young adult literature. Furthermore, the study highlights how different love language preferences can reveal character depth, relational quality, and the dynamics of emotional intimacy in literary works.

Abstract

International Community Service conducted abroad, precisely at Jami'ah Islam Syeikh Daud al-Fathoni Pattani Thailand is one of the efforts made by Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al Washliyah to implement a world class institute in developing the integrity and capability of lecturers in their role in carrying out educational, research, and community service tasks in order to implement knowledge in the midst of the world community. In Asian countries, rice is generally the main food consumed as a source of carbohydrates. Generally, rice cooked from rice usually requires a cooking time of around 20-30 minutes until the rice is cooked. To eat, rice is indeed more delicious if served fresh. However, there must be someone who has experienced excess rice when cooking so that it is not finished. Unfortunately, not everyone can use the leftover rice. So, many people just hoard it, even though the rice is not stale. In the daily lives of people, both in Indonesia and Thailand, it is often found that there is a lot of leftover rice that is wasted by people around the environment where they live. In fact, if you can process it, then something useful can be produced from the leftover rice. Entrepreneurship Training produces various products in the form of snacks by utilizing leftover rice, this is intended to provide learning space and capacity building, especially in entrepreneurship for students at the Ma'had Al-Bi'that Ad-diniyah Muang Campus, Yala Thailand, with various appropriate materials including providing an understanding so that business ideas develop, solving problems in starting a business and increasing motivation and self-confidence to start a business utilizing processed leftover rice. With the background of the partners, the theme taken in the International Community Service activity is: Mentoring for Entrepreneurship Introduction Activities with the title "Diversification of Processed Leftover Rice For Snacks To Increase Income For Joint Business Groups In Jami'ah Islam Sheikh Daud Al Fathoni (JISDA) Thailand".

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether there is an influence and correlation between the Discovery Learning model using Canva and I-Spring Suite on learning outcomes and student motivation in stoichiometry material. This research uses a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach. The analysis technique used is the two-party t test. From the results of data analysis on learning outcomes and student motivation, it was found that there was an influence of the Discovery Learning model using Canva and I-Spring suite on student learning outcomes and motivation on stoichiometry material. Based on the data obtained, namely tcount>ttable on student learning outcomes (2.93>1.66), and on student motivation (2.48>1.66). Based on the data, it is known that there is an increase in learning outcomes in each class when implementing learning models and media (67.15% and 63.5%). In terms of student motivation, it can be seen that the percentage of student motivation is 74.4% for experimental class I and 71.3% for experimental class II. The correlation of increasing learning outcomes and student motivation in experimental class I and experimental class II is quite low, namely 0.0116 and 0.0114.

Abstract

PKBM merupakan lembaga pendidikan non-formal yang menyediakan layanan bagi masyarakat yang tidak bisa mengikuti pendidikan formal karena berbagai kendala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran tutor dalam meningkatkan minat belajar program paket C di PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan (TSMD) Cikampek serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran tutor dalam meningkatkan minat belajar program paket C di PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan (TSMD) Cikampek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah tujuh orang, terdiri dari kepala sekolah PKBM TSMD, dua tutor paket C dan empat warga belajar paket C. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu tahap pra lapangan, tahap pekerjaan lapangan dan tahap analisis data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan, 1) Reduksi data (penyederhanaan), 2) Display data (penyajian) 3) Verifikasi data (penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran tutor dalam meningkatkan minat belajar pada program paket C di PKBM TSMD dilakukan dengan perannya sebagai, a) Informator, b) Organisator, c) Motivator, d) Mediator, e) Fasilitator dan f) Evaluator. Faktor pendukung peran tutor dalam meningkatkan minat belajar pada warga belajar paket C di PKBM TSMD didukung oleh, 1) Sarana dan Prasarana, 2) Ketertarikan dan rasa ingin tahu. Adapun faktor penghambat diantaranya, 1) Rendahnya motivasi belajar, 2) Kurangnya dukungan keluarga 3) Minat baca rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan strategi pendidikan anti perundungan menggunakan metode Golden Circle untuk siswa SDN 3 Sogong. Urgensi penelitian ini digarisbawahi oleh prevalensi bullying dan perlunya model pendidikan preventif berbasis karakter. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan cermat melalui wawancara mendalam, pengamatan langsung, dan analisis dokumentasi. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa metode Golden Circle diterapkan secara strategis dengan terlebih dahulu menetapkan "Mengapa", yang berfokus pada membangun pemahaman emosional yang mendalam di antara siswa tentang dampak berbahaya dari bullying untuk menumbuhkan empati. Ini diikuti oleh "Bagaimana", yang melibatkan metode praktis seperti bermain peran, dialog reflektif, dan proyek kolaboratif untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan untuk mencegah dan menanggapi perundungan. "Apa" diwujudkan melalui tindakan nyata, termasuk membuat deklarasi anti-bullying di seluruh kelas dan menunjuk duta siswa, menerjemahkan pemahaman menjadi komitmen nyata. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan empati, pemikiran kritis, dan keberanian siswa untuk melaporkan insiden. Namun, implementasinya menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk faktor internal seperti kompetensi guru yang bervariasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya, serta faktor eksternal seperti keterlibatan orang tua yang tidak konsisten dan pengaruh sosial negatif dari luar lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Golden Circle menawarkan kerangka kerja yang holistik dan efektif untuk pendidikan anti-bullying dengan menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik. Meskipun demikian, keberhasilan jangka panjangnya bergantung pada penerapan yang konsisten, pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan, dan kolaborasi yang diperkuat antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat luas untuk menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang benar-benar aman dan mendukung.

Abstract

Discipline character is one of the factors that significantly influences the formation and development of morals, behavior, character, and individual traits. This study aims to describe the strategy of instilling disciplinary character through school culture at SDN Keroncong 1, explain the disciplinary character through school culture at SDN Keroncong 1, and describe the evaluation of the strategy for instilling disciplinary character through school culture at SDN Keroncong 1. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that 1) the strategy of instilling disciplinary character through school culture describes a positive impact because discipline is formed through a good school culture, so students adapt through relevant and need-based learning. 2) disciplinary character through school culture explains one way to adapt by looking at examples and role models who have successfully adapted to the school environment, 3) the evaluation of the strategy for instilling disciplinary character through school culture describes the involvement of all school stakeholders that can create a school culture that supports the formation of healthy social relationships, disciplined students tend to be more cooperative, and able to maintain beneficial interactions.
