Abstract

East Java is a seismically active region where short-term earthquake forecasting remains a critical yet challenging endeavor. While deterministic prediction is inherently unfeasible, probabilistic modeling offers a practical pathway for risk mitigation. This study develops a 30-day forward-window probabilistic forecasting model for M≥5.0 earthquakes in East Java using a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network framed as a binary classification task. The model is trained on 25 years of seismic data (2001–2025) from BMKG Stasiun Geofisika Pasuruan. Twenty-five seismic features were rigorously selected through correlation analysis and data-leakage prevention protocols, while class imbalance was mitigated using adaptive loss weighting. The LSTM architecture was systematically optimized via sequential hyperparameter tuning and robust validation strategies. On a hold-out test set, the model achieved an AUC-ROC of 0.752, F1-score of 0.484, and recall of 0.673, indicating the model's capacity to detect impending seismic events with reasonable sensitivity. These results confirm that deep learning can effectively capture non-linear temporal patterns in seismic sequences. The primary contribution of this work is a validated, operationally ready probabilistic forecasting framework that can be integrated into regional earthquake monitoring systems, providing actionable lead time for disaster preparedness in East Java.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of verbal abuse committed by the character Walid in the film Bid'ah and examine the psychological and social impacts it causes on the representation of the victim, viewed from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education. This study employs a qualitative content analysis approach, closely examining the dialogues, scenes, and narrative elements that depict the verbal communication practices of the character Walid in the film Bid’ah. The findings reveal that verbal abuse takes many forms, including intimidation, psychological manipulation, humiliation, the silencing of dissent, the distortion of religious language, and the normalization of symbolic violence. These patterns of behavior do not simply pass as fleeting harm; they settle into the psychological fabric of the victims, shaping a fragile sense of self marked by insecurity, lingering fear, sustained anxiety, and a quiet but persistent burden of guilt. In a broader social sense, they encourage silence, distance individuals from one another, and slowly construct an atmosphere where fear replaces openness within religious learning spaces. From the standpoint of Islamic Religious Education, Walid’s actions reveal a serious departure from the ethical discipline of communication taught in Islam, including hifz al-lisan (restraint of speech), qaulan sadidan (truthful articulation), qaulan ma’rufan (respectful expression), and qaulan layyinan (gentle delivery). Rather than aligning with the purpose of Islamic education—which is to cultivate moral integrity and inner calm—such conduct disrupts and weakens it. In this light, the study argues that language within religious education must be reclaimed as a medium for ethical formation and personal freedom, not reduced to an instrument of control or intimidation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara implementasi strategi manajemen dan peningkatan daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam di tengah dinamika perubahan sosial, perkembangan teknologi, serta meningkatnya tuntutan mutu pendidikan. Lembaga pendidikan Islam dituntut tidak hanya mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya, tetapi juga memiliki keunggulan kompetitif melalui pengelolaan yang profesional dan berbasis nilai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), melalui penelaahan berbagai literatur yang relevan mengenai manajemen strategik, implementasi strategi, daya saing lembaga pendidikan, serta prinsip-prinsip manajemen dalam perspektif Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi strategi manajemen yang dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi mampu meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan, kualitas tenaga pendidik, efektivitas pembelajaran, budaya organisasi, serta citra positif lembaga di masyarakat. Selain itu, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam seperti amanah, adil, ihsan, syura, dan tanggung jawab memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memperkuat efektivitas strategi sekaligus membangun kepercayaan publik. Daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak hanya ditentukan oleh aspek material dan administratif, tetapi juga oleh kekuatan moral, spiritual, serta kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi manajemen strategik berbasis nilai Islam merupakan faktor kunci dalam mewujudkan daya saing lembaga pendidikan Islam yang unggul, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has prompted businesses to adjust their marketing strategies by leveraging social media, which has become an effective tool for promotion, consumer interaction, and brand image building Mie Gacoan, as a culinary brand, actively utilizes social media to attract consumers’ attention, particularly among the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing and brand image on the purchase decisions of Mie Gacoan consumers in Situbondo. The research employed a quantitative survey approach, involving 102 consumers selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both social media marketing and brand image have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Partially, brand image contributes more than social media marketing, while simultaneously, the two variables explain 61.9% of the variation in purchase decisions. These findings underscore that integrating digital marketing strategies through social media with brand image enhancement can improve the effectiveness of consumer purchase decisions. The study provides practical insights for developing digital marketing strategies in the culinary industry and offers a foundation for future research with an expanded scope of variables and geographical coverage.

Abstract

The rapid flow of digital information, particularly through social media platforms such as TikTok, requires students to develop critical attitudes toward Islamic content circulating online. Not all religious information available originates from credible authorities, making it necessary to evaluate and filter such content wisely. This study aims to examine how students at SMKN 1 Mojoanyar access and respond to Islamic content on TikTok, as well as analyze the extent of their critical attitudes in assessing the validity of the content. This research employed a qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that most students access Islamic content via TikTok’s For You Page (FYP), yet they have not fully developed critical skills in evaluating both the source and the substance of the information. Although Islamic Education teachers have made efforts to instill critical thinking, continuous guidance is still needed to prevent students from being easily influenced by misleading content. The study concludes that students’ critical attitudes toward Islamic content on TikTok remain moderate and should be strengthened through digital literacy education and the cultivation of reflective and logical thinking skills. Pesatnya arus informasi digital, khususnya melalui media sosial seperti TikTok, menuntut peserta didik memiliki sikap kritis terhadap konten keislaman yang beredar. Tidak semua informasi keagamaan yang tersedia bersumber dari otoritas yang kredibel, sehingga diperlukan kemampuan untuk mengevaluasi dan menyaring informasi tersebut secara bijak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peserta didik SMKN 1 Mojoanyar memperoleh dan menanggapi konten keislaman di TikTok, serta menganalisis sejauh mana sikap kritis mereka dalam menilai keabsahan konten tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik memperoleh konten keislaman melalui fitur FYP (For You Page) TikTok, namun belum sepenuhnya memiliki kemampuan kritis dalam mengevaluasi sumber dan isi informasi yang diterima. Meskipun ada upaya dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk menanamkan sikap kritis, masih diperlukan pembinaan berkelanjutan agar peserta didik tidak mudah terpengaruh oleh konten yang menyesatkan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sikap kritis peserta didik terhadap konten keislaman di TikTok masih tergolong sedang, dan perlu ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan literasi digital dan penguatan karakter berpikir reflektif serta logis.

Abstract

Rendahnya prestasi belajar matematika sering kali dipicu oleh faktor psikologis siswa yang belum terkelola, sehingga diperlukan pemahaman mendalam mengenai interaksi antarfaktor tersebut dalam lingkungan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi simultan motivasi belajar dan kecemasan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain ex post facto, subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 03 Bombana. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi nilai, lalu dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar dan kecemasan matematika secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa prestasi dipengaruhi oleh interaksi faktor psikologis pendorong dan penghambat. Secara parsial, motivasi belajar berkontribusi positif dan signifikan, sedangkan kecemasan matematika berkontribusi negatif namun tidak signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan peran kecemasan terhadap prestasi cenderung bersifat tidak langsung. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan prestasi perlu dilakukan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran terpadu yang meningkatkan motivasi sekaligus mengelola kecemasan. Penelitian mendatang disarankan mengeksplorasi variabel mediator lain, seperti efikasi diri, guna memperjelas mekanisme pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development process of a PMRI-based module supported by the GeoGebra application for teaching geometric transformations, and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for students of class XIB at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design, following the ADDIE development model, which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is a PMRI-based instructional module integrated with GeoGebra for the topic of geometric transformations.The trial subjects were 21 students from class XIB. The instruments used in this study included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcome tests. Findings from the limited-trial phase indicated that: (1) the validation scores for both the instructional materials and research instruments reached an average of 4.3, classified as highly valid, as all evaluated components fell within the interval 4 ≤ M ≤ 5; (2) the module demonstrated practicality, shown by the average student response rate of 90.4% and the teacher response rate of 90%, both categorized as positive; and (3) the module met the criteria for effectiveness, as evidenced by an average teacher performance score of 4.6 (very good), an average student activity percentage of 76% (good), and student learning outcomes achieving a mastery level of 85.8%. Based on the results of the limited trial, it can be concluded that the development of the PMRI-Based Module supported by GeoGebra for teaching geometric transformations at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa meets the established criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

Implementasi Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan di tingkat masyarakat, terutama dalam hal pemahaman dan penerimaan terhadap regulasi tersebut, sehingga diperlukan strategi komunikasi yang efektif dan inklusif. Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja bertujuan untuk mempercepat investasi dan penciptaan lapangan kerja, namun penerapannya di tingkat lokal masih menghadapi tantangan, termasuk kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap isi regulasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi, implementasi, dan hambatan dalam penyuluhan non-komersial sebagai sarana diseminasi UU Cipta Kerja guna mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan di Kelurahan Pedurungan Lor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta analisis dokumentasi terkait kegiatan penyuluhan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan non-komersial yang melibatkan mahasiswa dan masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pemahaman regulasi serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif warga dalam implementasi kebijakan. Strategi berbasis komunitas dengan pendekatan partisipatif terbukti efektif dalam membangun kesadaran dan respons positif masyarakat terhadap UU Cipta Kerja. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan beberapa hambatan utama, seperti resistensi terhadap kebijakan, kurangnya akses terhadap informasi resmi, serta keterbatasan sumber daya dalam penyelenggaraan penyuluhan. Kesimpulannya, penyuluhan non-komersial dapat menjadi instrumen yang efektif dalam mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai kebijakan publik, terutama jika didukung dengan metode komunikasi yang adaptif dan kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara mahasiswa, pemerintah daerah, serta tokoh masyarakat. Implikasinya, perlu adanya peningkatan sinergi antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan serta optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi informasi agar penyebarluasan kebijakan lebih luas dan berkelanjutan. The implementation of the Job Creation Law still faces various challenges at the community level, especially in terms of understanding and acceptance of these regulations, so an effective and inclusive communication strategy is needed. The Job Creation Law aims to accelerate investment and job creation, but its implementation at the local level still faces challenges, including a lack of public understanding of the contents of the regulation. This research aims to analyze the strategy, implementation and obstacles in non-commercial counseling as a means of disseminating the Job Creation Law to support sustainable development in Pedurungan Lor Subdistrict. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and analysis of documentation related to the extension activities that have been carried out. The research results show that non-commercial outreach involving students and the community can increase understanding of regulations and encourage active involvement of citizens in policy implementation. Community-based strategies with a participatory approach have proven effective in building awareness and positive responses from the community towards the Job Creation Law. However, research also found several main obstacles, such as resistance to policies, lack of access to official information, and limited resources in providing extension services. In conclusion, non-commercial outreach can be an effective instrument in educating the public about public policy, especially if supported by adaptive communication methods and closer collaboration between students, local government and community leaders. The implication is that there is a need to increase synergy between various stakeholders and optimize the use of information technology so that policy dissemination is wider and more sustainable.
