Abstract

Intoleransi menjadi masalah dan tantangan di tengah masyarakat majemuk seperti bangsa Indonesia. Sikap intoleransi adalah bukanlah bawaan tapi dibentuk oleh banyak faktor termasuk faktor lingkungan pendidikan. Penguatan toleransi sejak usia dini dan sekolah dasar dinilai penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguatan sikap toleransi peserta didik melalui implementasi lingkungan budaya sekolah religius dengan integrasi nilai Islam dan Kristen di SDN Ciracas 03 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif dan didukung dengan data kuantitatif melalui data angket. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan melalui pengamatan dan kuesioner angket yang telah dilakukan pengujian validasi dengan rumus korelasi product moment dan pengujian reliabilitas dengan rumus alpha cronbach. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan budaya sekolah religius yang menekankan implementasi nilai-nilai toleransi berpengaruh pada sikap toleransi siswa/i di SDN Ciracas 03. Interaksi siswa Muslim dan Kristen yang berbeda agama membuat mereka semakin terbuka dan tidak saling berprasangka karena perbedaan agama. Kesimpulan ini diperkuat oleh data kuantitatif kami yang  menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 87 % siswa/i bersikap terbuka dalam perbedaan, 90% bersikap saling menghargai satu sama lain, 84% siswa/i bersikap  peduli terhadap perbedaan, 94% bersikap mengakomodasi keberagaman beragama, dan 83% menyatakan sikap kenyaman dalam perbedaan. Penelitian ini memperkuat pandangan dan merekomendasikan perlunya implementasi lingkungan budaya religius yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai toleransi dalam memperkuat sikap toleransi pada siswa/i sekolah dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan minat orang tua untuk menyekolahkan anaknya pada lingkungan minoritas di MIN 1 Bitung; faktor pendukung dan penghambat minat orang tua untuk menyekolahkan anaknya pada lingkungan minoritas di MIN 1 Bitung; Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan minat orang tua untuk menyekolahkan anaknya di madrasah, adalah: 1) sebagai edukator; 2) sebagai menejer; 3) sebagai administrator; 4) sebagai supervisor; 5) sebagai leader; 6) sebagai inovator; dan 7) sebagai motivator. Faktor pendukung motivasi orang tua menyekolahkan anaknya di madrasah pada lingkungan minoritas di kota Bitung, adalah: 1) keinginan orang tua untuk menjadikan anaknya sebagai generasi yang baik; 2) keinginan agar anaknya dapat didik disiplin dalam beribadah; 3) adanya mutu pendidikan dan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai di madrasah; dan 4) keinginan untuk memperbaiki akhlak anak yang telah terpengaruh dengan hal-hal negatif. Sedangkan faktor penghambanya, antara lain: 1) adanya stigma negatif terhadap madrasah; 2) jarak madrasah yang jauh; dan 3) adanya anggapan madrasah sekolah tradisional dan kumuh.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to find out (1) the EFL teachers’ strategies in teaching English at Senior High School level; (2) the EFL teachers’ strategies in teaching vocabulary at Senior High School level; and (3) the EFL teachers’ problem in teaching vocabulary at Senior High School level. This research applied qualitative method. The subject of this study was an English teacher who taught at SMKN 1 Barru. The data collected were observation, questionnaire checklist and interview. The result of this study showed that (1) the EFL teacher uses five strategies in teaching English, discussion and demonstration strategies, using electronic media as a learning media, using games(applications), teaching vocabulary strategy; (2) the EFL teacher uses four strategies in teaching vocabulary to students, such as learning new vocabulary strategies independently without the help of teachers and other students, using strategies that involve teachers and other students, using strategies to remember new words or vocabulary, using games (applications); (3) the several problems faced by the teacher in teaching vocabulary, such as lack of motivation, phone dependency and self-confidence. Abstract

This research aimed at finding out EFL Islamic School teachers' perceptions toward the implemention of Merdeka Curriculum in their schools. This reasearch applied case study research design. Two Islamic Schools in Makassar South Sulawesi were selected as subject of the study. Five EFL teachers of those schools were selested as participants of the study using purposive sampling technique. Those teachers were asked about their perceptions related to their readiness in implementing Merdeka Curriculum, their challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, and their suggestions on the challenges in implementing Merdeka Curriculum in their schools. The data then analysed using Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis. The research results showed: 1) Most of the teachers were ready to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in their schools, which can be seen from the readiness of creating lesson planning, learning processes, and assessment; 2) The challenges faced by EFL teachers in Islamic schools include: disparate grasp of the Merdeka Curriculum implementation among school supervisors, teachers have difficulties in implementing differentiated learning, lack of ability in using technology-based learning media, and lack of facilities and infrastructure; 3) Teacher suggestions on the challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum include: unifying the understanding of school supervisors regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, providing training for teachers to work on learning tools, and providing special training according to subject matter, and providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, such as library to support the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum

Abstract

This paper aims to implement the prototype model to monitor and control the pH levels and nutrition plant (electrical conductivity-EC) supplied by a standalone photovoltaic (PV) module-connected battery (Lithium-Ion) on the greenhouse hydroponic systems. The pH and EC sensors are connected to the Arduino Uno circuit as a relay control to drive four pumps, i.e. the water flow pump, EC pump, pH up pump, and pH down pump. The greenhouse function to control pests and the impact of environmental non-uniformity caused by variation of wind speed, temperature, or sunlight so that hydroponic plants can grow in an appropriate environment. The Arduino Uno circuit with a 20 × 4 liquid crystal display (LCD) order four relays to monitor and control the four pumps of the greenhouse hydroponic system based on the coding which has been programmed previously. The prototype model is able to monitor and control the pH of hydroponic plant water at the level between 6-7 using a pH-up and pH-down sensor. This model is also able to monitor and control nutrition plant water over 1 mS/cm using an EC sensor. Finally, the proposed prototype is able to monitor and control EC and pH level to regulate plant growth in the greenhouse hydroponic system normally and in real-time.

Abstract

Nama Sukarni Kartodiwirjo tidak bisa dilepaskan dari pergerakan pemuda yang memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Sukarni merupakan sosok yang konsekuen dengan ucapan dan tindakannya. Inilah yang menjadikan dirinya berbeda dari tokoh-tokoh pemuda lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat tiga rumusan masalah. Pertama, bagaimana pemikiran Sukarni tentang konsep kemerdekaan. Kedua, bagaimana aktualisasi perjuangan politik Sukarni menuju kemerdekaan Indonesia. Ketiga, bagaimana kontribusi Sukarni pada masa kependudukan Jepang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah dengan empat tahapan yang terdiri atas heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan histiog rafi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga temuan. Pertama, pemikiran Sukarni mengenai konsep kemerdekaan dimulai ketika Sukarni berusia 18 tahun. Pemikiran-pemikiran Sukarni dipengaruhi oleh faktor keturunan. Melihat dari garis keturunannya menjadikan Sukarni sebagai sosok yang kuat, militan, kreatif, berani melawan penjajah, dan berani mendobrak status quo untuk kemerdekaan Indonesia. Kedua, aktualiasasi perjuangan politik Sukarni menuju kemerdekaan Indonesia dimulai dari Indonesia Muda pada tahun 1931, Asrama Pemuda Menteng Raya 31 pada tahun 1934, dan terlibat dalam aksi Rengasdengklok pada tahun 1945. Ketiga, kontribusi Sukarni pada masa kependudukan Jepang terlihat dalam keterlibatannya ketika menculik Soekarno dan Hatta ke Rengasdengklok, mengusulkan naskah proklamasi ditandatangani oleh Soekarno dan Hatta, dan membentuk Committee van Actie. The name Sukarni Kartodiwirjo cannot be separated from the youth movement that fought for Indonesian independence. Sukarni was a figure who was consistent with his words and actions. This is what makes him different from other youth leaders. In this research there are three problem formulations. First, how Sukarni thought about the concept of independence.  Second, how was the actualization of Sukarni's political struggle towards Indonesian independence. Third, how Sukarni's contribution during the Japanese occupation. The method used is the historical method with four stages consisting of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and histiography. This research produced three findings. First, Sukarni's thoughts on the concept of independence began when Sukarni was 18 years old. Sukarni's thoughts were influenced by heredity. Seeing from his lineage makes Sukarni a strong, militant, creative, brave figure against the colonizers, and dare to break the status quo for Indonesian independence. Second, the actualization of Sukarni's political struggle towards Indonesian independence began with Indonesia Muda in 1931, Asrama Pemuda Menteng Raya 31 in 1934, and was involved in the Rengasdengklok action in 1945. Third, Sukarni's contribution during the Japanese occupation was seen in his involvement in kidnapping Soekarno and Hatta to Rengasdengklok, proposing the proclamation script to be signed by Soekarno and Hatta, and forming the Committee van Actie. Keywords : nationalist; national movement; sukarni kartodiwiryo

Abstract

Pelatihan pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah berbasis Open Journal System (OJS) memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas jurnal menuju akreditasi nasional (SINTA) dan internasional. Universitas Sulawesi Barat, dengan 27 jurnal ilmiahnya, menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi standar akreditasi, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengelolanya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman editor jurnal tentang fitur OJS, alur kerja editorial, dan kebijakan akreditasi jurnal. Metode pelatihan mencakup empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor pemahaman sebesar 35%. Peserta mampu menerapkan praktik terbaik dalam pengelolaan jurnal, termasuk pembuatan akun, pengelolaan metadata, dan manajemen mitra bestari. Kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan infrastruktur menjadi tantangan yang perlu diperbaiki di masa depan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal di Universitas Sulawesi Barat, yang diharapkan dapat mendukung pencapaian akreditasi nasional dan internasional. Pelatihan serupa direkomendasikan untuk diadakan secara berkala dan didukung dengan peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi.

Abstract

Small and medium industries (SMEs) are vital sectors in Indonesia's economy, with significant contributions to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and job creation. The IKM Center, which groups small and medium-sized business units in one location, is expected to improve production efficiency and industrial competitiveness. However, many centers are experiencing problems in management and revitalization. This research aims to explore the role of the Ministry of Industry as the main stakeholder in the development of IKM Centers in Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study examines the role of the Ministry of Industry as a regulator, facilitator, catalyst, investor, and strategic planner in developing SME Centers. The results of the study show that although the IKM Center has great potential, there are still challenges in policy implementation and management that require revitalization. The government is expected to continue to strengthen its role to support the sustainability and growth of the IKM Center in the long term

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam mengenal kondisi lingkungan yang berpotensi sebagai habitat perkembangbiakan nyamuk Aedes aigypti di lngkungan sekolah dan meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru-guru dalam merancang dan memasang alat ovitrap dan larvitrap dengan tepat yang dapat diajarkan kepada siswa-siswanya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa pelatihan pembuatan Ovitrap dan larvitrap untuk memutus siklus hidup nyamuk Aedes bagi guru-guru SD di Kecamatan Poasia Kota Kendari telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2024 yang melibatkan 5 orang dosen dan 6 orang mahasiswa dari FMIPA UHO. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan pemasangan di lingkungan sekolah masing-masing. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tersebut telah meningkatkan kemampuan dalam mengenal berbagai factor penyebab kasus demam berdarah dan terampil dalam membuat ovitrap dan larvitrap sebagai sarana yang tepatbdalam menurunkan populasi nyamuk vector demam berdarah. Kata kunci : Demam berdarah dengue (DBD), Aedes aegypti, Larvi trap. ABSTRACT This community service activity aims to increase teachers' understanding of environmental conditions that have the potential to become breeding habitats for the Aedes aigypti mosquito in the school environment and improve teachers' abilities and skills in designing and installing ovitrap and larvitrap equipment appropriately which can be taught to their students. Community service activities in the form of training in making Ovitrap and larvitrap to break the life cycle of the Aedes mosquito for elementary school teachers in Poasia District, Kendari City were carried out on October 19, 2024 involving five lecturers and six students from FMIPA UHO. The activity continued with installation assistance in each school environment. The evaluation results show that the training has improved the ability to recognize various factors that cause cases of dengue fever and skills in making ovitraps and larvitraps as appropriate means of reducing the population of dengue vector mosquitoes. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values in fostering ecological awareness in the content of the material presented in the book theme 9 "Kayanya Negeriku" for fourth-grade elementary school. This research approach uses a qualitative literature study. The content of the material analyzed is the preservation of Indonesia's natural resources. The research results almost all of the material can be related to Islamic values or those contained in the Qur'an. The material is delivered in the form of contextual stories that bring students to think logically about facts and phenomena of everyday life. The conclusion of this research is the application of Islamic values in the attitude of growing a sense of love for the environment is very important, especially instilled in elementary school students in the preservation of natural resources. So that students have gratitude and are wise in utilizing nature by Allah's commands in the Qur'an so that it is not just knowledge that is implanted.   Keywords: Integration of Islamic Values, conservation of Natural Resources, Ecological Awareness
