Abstract

The service partner of KWT "Bengke Sakato" Sungai Sariak, Padang PariamanRegency, chaired by Ermatius. So far, his line of business is manufacturing VCO with the brand "Amboko" and processing 2000 coconuts every month. With the number of members as many as 25 people, this income is not sufficient. Waste from the VCO manufacturing process has not been utilized such as coconut water, coconut fiber, and coconut shells are still wasted. Whereas coconut water can be made into the starter and Nata de coco, the coir can be made cocopeat and the shell can be made of ceramics or bags that can increase income. This service program aims to empower and improve the community's economy. Namely the community members of KWT "Bengke Sakato". The method of service is that it begins with socialization, then carries out a workshop, after which monitoring and evaluation are carried out, as well as mentoring. This activity can produce starter or nata de coco seeds from pineapple and coconut water, where every 3 liters of coconut water and one pineapple produces 5 starter bottles with a price per bottle of IDR 50,000. In addition, it can also increase the knowledge of partners from 29.3% to 87.3%. It can be concluded that this service activity can increase partner knowledge about the manufacture of nata de coco seeds from coconut water which is a waste of the VCO process. And can improve the partner's economy. Making Nata de coco starter from coconut water can increase family income or empower the community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the application of Maqasid Shari'ah principles in the services of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Makassar City and its impact on customer satisfaction. This research uses a qualitative approach with normative juridical, normative theological (shar'i), and sociological methods. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation with BSI and customers, as well as secondary data from related literature. The research findings show that BSI is committed to implementing maqasid shari'ah through services that prioritise the benefit, social justice and welfare of the people, such as the shari'ah education financing programme and worship services. Despite challenges related to the public's understanding of shariah banking, the majority of customers are satisfied with services that comply with shariah principles, despite complaints about mobile applications and ATM access. The implication of this study is the need for further development in customer education and improvement of service facilities to further optimise the implementation of maqasid shari'ah, as well as providing insights for shari'ah financial institutions in improving services that are more equitable and in accordance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Improving community welfare is the main goal, of course, and one of the main goals of CSR. Companies can help and improve communities in social, cultural, economic, and physical areas by carrying out corporate social responsibility. By doing so, they can make the community feel helped in improving their welfare If someone offers them help, they tend to see it positively because it is evidence of gratitude and empathy shown. The use of appropriate theories to study community empowerment and capacity building of the River School, including community empowerment through CSR programs, River Schools as a model of environmental education, the role of PLN CSR in environmental education at River Schools, early environmental awareness through CSR and River Schools, the impact of CSR programs on community empowerment and independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study of community empowerment through PLN CSR to explore early environmental awareness The location of this research was carried out in Gunung Anyar Tambak Village Rt.01 Rw.01 Surabaya, which is an area used by Bank Sampah by PT. PLN (Persero). The PLN CSR program involving various parties in environmental education has a positive impact on shaping the mindset of the community who are more concerned about environmental sustainability. Awareness built early on, especially in children and adolescents, is expected to produce a generation that is more responsive to environmental issues. Counseling involving schools in this sub-district has proven effective in building a deeper understanding, which can then be passed on to their families. Therefore, it is important for PLN to continue to assist the community, provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, and provide incentives or awards for those who succeed in protecting the environment and managing resources wisely.

Abstract

Land has a very important role in showing the independence and sovereignty of its owner, so that land disputes arise. But not all problems need to be resolved in court or trial. Currently there is a method of Alternative Dispute Resolution or ADR (alternative dispute resolution) which is a type of non-litigation dispute resolution which has recently become increasingly popular because it is implemented through mediation, where there is no bias from the mediator. The formulation of the problem in this research is that there are two main questions asked, first, the role of the land office in resolving land disputes through agreements and second, the Land Office making agreements in land disputes. The results of this research show that a mediator's responsibilities during mediation include facilitating discussions, enforcing the law, getting all parties to discuss problems and concerns honestly, helping each other remind each other that disputes are not battles that must be won but resolved, listening attentively, taking notes, and ask questions, and help all parties reach consensus or common ground. The procedure for resolving land disputes through mediation is by the disputing parties submitting a complaint to the Land Office, followed by a review, final negotiations and an agreement process. If all parties reach an agreement, the agreement is made in writing, whereas if an agreement is not reached, the parties have the option to take the case to court.
