Abstract

This research aims to explore a holistic approach in Islamic basic education and how this approach can synthesize the development of students' potential from intellectual, spiritual and emotional aspects. The method used is a literature review which includes SINTA accredited articles 1-6 from the last five years. The research results show that curriculum integration that combines intellectual, spiritual and emotional aspects provides significant benefits in increasing students' understanding of the relationship between general knowledge and religious values. Holistic Islamic basic education has also proven effective in developing students' emotional intelligence, which is important for managing emotions, increasing empathy, and building strong character. The role of trained teachers and the support of a supportive learning environment were also identified as important factors in the successful implementation of a holistic approach. Additionally, technology can be used as an effective tool to support holistic learning integration. This study concludes that a holistic approach in Islamic basic education has great potential to create a comprehensive learning environment, which can support students' overall and balanced development. Recommendations for educational practice and further research are also presented to improve the implementation and effectiveness of this approach. Keywords: Holistic Approach, Islamic Basic Education, Potential Development, Intellectual, Spiritual, Emotional

Abstract

Background: The socialization of the Free Curriculum Implementation Program (IKM), especially the creation of STEAM-based teaching modules for Kindergarten (TK) Teachers in Lahat Regency, has not yet been widely implemented. Additionally, the educational background linearities of preschool teachers are low. On the other hand, Lahat Regency has collaborated with Sriwijaya University to minimize the existing gap. Based on the needs analysis, Lahat needs competent preschool teachers, especially in creating STEAM-based teaching modules for 4-6 aged children. Training and mentoring preschool teachers in creating STEAM-based teaching modules has involved 20 preschool teachers in Lahat, South Sumatra. Method: The activity flow includes 1) Planning, 2) Implementation, and 3) Evaluation. Inferential quantitative data analysis was conducted using the average percentage from pre-test and post-test scores of a 20-question instrument indicating STEAM-based teaching module components. Results: Based on the average pre-test score of 49% and the average post-test score of 71%, showed an increase of 23%. Additionally, preschool teachers were assisted in creating STEAM-based teaching modules and received group advice from the trainer. Some strengths and weaknesses include teachers being able to develop teaching modules according to the format, alignment with the developmental level of children, suitability of media, and evaluation. However, for STEAM-based activities formulated by teachers, further assistance is needed as some teachers are mistaken in designing activities suitable for the Technology and Engineering fields. Conclusion: The STEAM-based teaching module training received positive responses, was effectively implemented, and provided new knowledge for preschool teachers.

Abstract

Golden period is the peak period of child growth and development. Growth and development of toddlers need to be monitored regularly in order to produce quality human resources. At that age, a problem that is commonly called the Triple M Complex (Malnutrition - Morbidity - Mortality) can be found. Pneumonia is the main killer of children under five in the world. One of the growth indicators for toddlers is nutritional status. Nutritional status can be monitored using KMS. The high number of pneumonia cases in Indonesia is not only a disease problem but also related to behavior. Protection and prevention efforts must be followed by changes in the behavior of those closest to the child, especially parents. Parental behavior is influenced by many factors, such as education, age, occupation, parental marital status.to determine the characteristics of families of toddlers with pneumonia and the nutritional status of toddlers with pneumonia at the Moncek Health Center, Sumenep RegencyMethods: cross sectional analytic study with a purposive sampling technique From this study it was found that the percentage of female respondents was higher (96.7%) than male respondents (3.3%) as a parents. The most age of responden is 15-44 years (66,7%), almost all respondents were married as many as 27 people (90%). Characteristics of respondents based on education level is that most of them have elementary school education (33.3%) and most of them don’t go to work (33,3%). And from 30 toddler who get pneumonia are in negative growth nutritional status (100%).The nutritional status of children with pneumonia if based on the Towards Health Card (KMS) tends to "grow negative", that is, the body weight has decreased compared to the previous month's weight. Characteristics of families in toddlers with pneumonia are mostly of childbearing age, with female sex and most are housewives (not working) and almost half of them were elementary school graduates.

Abstract

Background: Striae gravidarum is the stretching of the skin beyond its elastic limit that causes blue or reddish lines to appear on the abdomen, thighs, and breasts of pregnant women. Striae gravidarum can cause itching, burning, and dryness, as well as emotional disturbances that cause discomfort in most pregnant women. The prevalence of Striae gravidarum in pregnant women worldwide ranges from 50% to 90% but specific data on Striae gravidarum is not recorded because Striae gravidarum is a complaint or discomfort during pregnancy that is sometimes ignored by pregnant women themselves. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is coconut oil that contains ingredients that effectively maintain skin elasticity. This study is a development of research that has been conducted previously by researchers related to Striae gravidarum and Virgin Coconut Oil. Aims: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative study regarding the more significant effectiveness of using Virgin Coconut Oil and Olive Oil on the degree of Striae gravidarum. Methods: This research uses quasi experiment. with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study were all pregnant women in Errabu Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency. The sample is Trimester II pregnant women in Errabu Village using purposive sampling method. Data analysis will use a significance level of <0.5 then compare whether VCO or Olive Oil has the most significant effect in reducing the degree of Striae Gravidarum. Results: The results of the analysis show that the p-value of 0.04 < α (0.05) so that H1 is accepted, H0 is rejected, which means there is a difference in the effectiveness of using Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and Olive Oil on reducing the degree of Striae Gravidarum in pregnant women, although both oils are equally effective in reducing the degree of striae gravidarum. Conclusion: VCO is more effective than olive oil in reducing the degree of striae gravidarum in second trimester pregnant women in Errabu Village, Sumenep District. Abstract

ABSTRACT          Stress triggers 4.7 times the risk and abnormal nutritional status triggers 2.8 times the risk of experiencing irregular menstrual cycle1. Stress level is one of the factors that affect the menstrual cycle and is often felt by final year health students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in health students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang. This type of research is quantitative analytic with cross sectional design. The sampling method used simple random sampling with a sample size of 131 respondents. The results of the study based on the Spearman-rho test showed that there was a relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle, p-value = 0.037 (p-value <0.05). The value of r or correlation coefficient is 0.182 means that the level of strength of the correlation between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in final year health students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang is a weak correlation. While the positive relationship contained in the correlation coefficient means that the direction of the relationship is unidirectional, namely the increasing stress level, the more irregular or abnormal menstrual cycle. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in health students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang.
