Abstract

This research was motivated by the disappointment of the North Sulawesi Provincial Government, and its people because none of the tourism destinations in the area was included in the list. Phenomenally, North Sulawesi Province in 2018 was named as the Province with best tourism performance in Indonesia, and in middle of 2019, the Likupang Tourism Special Economic Zone in North Sulawesi was designated as one of the five Super Priority Tourism Destinations. This study used the constructivist paradigm with qualitative research methodology aimed to analyse the success of a local government in tourism branding. The theoretical framework of Nation Brand Hexagon was adopted to the provincial level, i.e., the hexagon of competitive identity was used as the parameter to evaluate the outcomes of Branding North Sulawesi Tourism. The core finding of this study was the intertwining of three factors to support the success of North Sulawesi tourism branding, namely: lobbying to the central government, multi-stakeholder involvement management, and integrated marketing communication. This study aimed to understand the importance of Government Marketing for branding North Sulawesi Tourism through the Hexagon of Competitive Identity, namely: governance, investment and immigration, tourism, exports, culture and heritage, and people. From these findings, it can be concluded that the North Sulawesi Provincial Government has performed optimally and simultaneously the hexagon of competitive identity needed in branding its tourism destination, in doing its roles as a lobbyist, as a marketer, and as Catalyst of North Sulawesi Tourism Branding.

Abstract

An effort to educate the people of a nation is a glorious educational goal, where intelligence is not only intellectually but a deeper meaning of intelligence itself. COVID-19 period is a genuinely uplifting meaning of the education itself. RuangGuru, an education-based application, provides solutions for Indonesians with free online schools. The researchers would like to see the shifting of meaning for a community who has used this application during COVID-19. The theory of Social Actions Media Studies was used to see the change in meaning. We also used the reception analysis method by Stuart Hall to classify the interviews' results into three categories, pro, contra, or neutral. The results indicate a shift in meaning due to the interpretation process by RuangGuru community, which is also influenced by local culture, on transition and future education is perceived.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is a disease outbreak that makes almost everyone unable to travel freely, especially in Indonesia. Shopee is one of the marketplaces used in this research. This study aims to analyse the impression of Shopee's brand image moderated by content marketing and its impact on impulsive buying of health products during the current pandemic. Data analysis used IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and involved 119 samples using survey methods and data collection instruments in questionnaires. The implication of this research shows that optimising content marketing techniques across various digital channels is a top priority to boost impulse buying, indirectly also improving brand image.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai untuk menganalisis implikatur dalam wacana Stand Up Comedy Indonesia sesi 4 Dodit Mulyanto di Kompas Tv, memaparkan jenis tuturan, mengidentifikasi wujud implikatur, dan memaparkan sumber implikatur yang terdapat dalam wacana Stand Up Comedy Indonesia sesi 4 Dodit Mulyanto Di Kompas Tv. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa jenis tindak tutur dalam wacana humor ini, seperti tuturan representatif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, dan isbati. Temuan lain dari penelitian ini yakni adanya wujud implikatur sebagai penunjang humor seperti implikatur (1) representatif dengan wujud menyatakan, menunjukkan, dan menyebutkan (2) implikatur direktif dengan wujud menyuruh, memohon, dan menyarankan (3) implikatur ekspresif dengan wujud memuji, megkritik dan mengeluh (4) implikatur komisif dengan wujud berjanji dan (5) implikatur isbati dengan wujud melarang. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi sumber terjadinya implikatur percakapan dalam wacana stand up comedy Indonesia sesi 4 Dodit Mulyanto di Kompas Tv yaitu (1) pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam empat bidal yaitu bidal kualitas, kuantitas, relevansi dan cara, (2) pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dalam enam bidal yaitu bidal ketimbangrasaan, kemurahhatian, keperkenaan, kerendahhatian, kesetujuan, dan kesimpatian.

Abstract

Abstrak Pada proses berkomunikasi atau berinteraksi, manusia saling mengujarkan tuturan satu sama lain. Selain berfungsi untuk mengatakan atau menginformasikan sesuatu, dapat juga dipergunakan untuk melakukan sesuatu. Bila hal ini terjadi, tuturan yang terbentuk adalah tuturan ilokusi. Dalam acara televisi banyak ditemukan tuturan baik yang menggunakan pengungkapan suatu hal secara langsung atau pengungkapan suatu hal secara tidak langsung. Acara Mata Najwa merupakan salah satu acara televisi yang menarik perhatian masyarakat. Acara Mata Najwa ini memiliki fungsi memberikan hiburan dan menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Dalam mengidentifikasi tuturan ilokusi pada acara Mata Najwa tidak hanya dilihat dari siapa yang bicara ataupun siapa yang menjadi mitra tuturnya tetapi juga mempertimbangkan konteks, agar pesan yang disampaikan penutur dapat dipahami oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis tuturan ilokusi yang terdapat pada acara Mata Najwa di Metro Tv dan mendeskripsi fungsi tuturan ilokusi yang terdapat pada acara Mata Najwa di Metro Tv. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. metode dan teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah metode simak, dengan teknik lanjutan rekam dan catat. Metode dan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode padan dengan sub-jenis metode padan pragmatis dan teknik pilah unsur penentu. Penyajian hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode informal. Hasil penelitian ini adalah jenis tuturan ilokusi yang terdapat pada acara Mata Najwa meliputi (1) tuturan representatif, (2) tuturan direktif, (3) tuturan ekspresif, dan (4) tuturan komisif. Sementara itu, fungsi ilokusi yang terdapat pada acara Mata Najwa adalah (1) fungsi kompetitif, (2) fungsi konvivial, (3) fungsi kolaboratif, dan (4) fungsi konfliktif. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi fonologi berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia; variasi leksikon berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia; serta kekhasan bahasa Jawa Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiodialektologi dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini dijaring dengan menggunakan metode simak dan cakap. Analisis data digunakan metode padan fonetis artikulatoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, variasi fonologi berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia meliputi (1) korespondensi vokal, (2) korespondensi konsonan, (3) variasi vokal, variasi konsonan, (4) penambahan bunyi, dan (5) pengurangan bunyi. Kedua, variasi leksikon berdasarkan pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan usia meliputi onomasiologis dan semasiologis. Ketiga, kekhasan bahasa Jawa Batang meliputi kekhasan fonologi dan leksikon. The aim of this study describe phonology variation based job, education, and age; lexicon variation based job, education, and age; and characteristics of Batang Java language. This study uses sosiodialectology approach and qualitative approach. Data was captured using hear and speak methods. Analysis of the data using articulatoric phonetic unified methods. The result showed as follows. First, phonology variation based job, education, and age includes (1) vocal correspondence, (2) consonant correspondence, (3) vocal variation, (4) consonant variation, (4) increment of sound, and (5) decrement of sound. Second, lexicon variation based job, education, and age includes onomasiologis and semasiologis. Thrid, characteristics of Batang Java language includes phonology characteristics and lexicon characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi jenis dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi dalam wacana pidato kampanye pada Pemilu 2019. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan teoretis dan metodologis. Pendekatan teoretis yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pragmatik, sedangkan pendekatan metodologis yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dan kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa penggalan pidato dalam kampanye Prabowo Subianto dan sumber data penelitian ini adalah wacana pidato pada video kampanye Prabowo Subianto pada Pemilu 2019. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dengan teknik sadap, teknik rekam, teknik transkripsi, dan teknik catat. Analisis data menggunakan menggunakan metode padan dengan teknik dasar pilah unsur penentu dan teknik lanjutan hubung banding menyamakan, teknik hubung banding memperbedakan, dan teknik hubung banding menyamakan hal pokok. Penyajian hasil analisis data menggunakan metode informal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam wacana pidato kampanye Prabowo Subianto pada Pemilu 2019 adalah tindak tutur representaif, tindak tutur direktif, tindak tutur ekspresif, tindak tutur komisif, dan tindak tutur isbati. Fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yang ditemukan dalam wacana pidato kampanye Prabowo Subianto adalah fungsi menyatakan, melaporkan, menyebutkan, mengakui, meminta, menyuruh, memohon, mengajak, mengucapkan terima kasih, menyalahkan, mengkritik, mengeluh, berjanji, bersumpah, dan melarang. This study aims to identify the types and functions of illocutionary speech acts in campaign speech discourse in the 2019 elections. The research approach used in this study is a theoretical and methodological approach. The theoretical approach used is the pragmatic approach, while the methodological approach used is a descriptive and qualitative approach. This research data in the form of fragments of speeches in the Prabowo Subianto campaign and the source of this research data is a speech, discourse on the Prabowo Subianto campaign video in the 2019 election. Data collection was carried out by referring to the tapping method, recording, technique, transcription technique, and note taking technique. Data analysis using the method of matching with the basic technique of determining the determinants and advanced techniques of equalization, equalization techniques distinguish, and the technique of appeal relations equalizes the main thing. Presentation of the results of data analysis using informal methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the types of illocutionary speech acts contained in Prabowo Subianto's campaign speech, discourse in the 2019 election were representative speech acts, directive speech acts, expressive speech acts, commissive speech acts, and verbal speech acts. The function of illocutionary speech acts found in Prabowo Subianto's campaign speech, discourse is the function of stating, reporting, mentioning, acknowledging, asking, asking, asking, inviting, thanking, blaming, criticizing, complaining, promising, swearing, and forbidding.

Abstract

To build high brand equity, a strong foundation is needed that is costumer loyalty to a brand. Brand loyalty can be assessed from various aspect and in this research, researcher used the value received by costumers and the trust of costumers. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of perceived value and brand trust of brand loyalty “Geprek Bensu” in Jakarta partially or simultaneously. In this research, the independent variable are perceived value (X1) and brand trust (X2) of Geprek Bensu in Jakarta, while the dependent variable is brand loyalty (Y). Population of this research is unlimited so it uses a sample of 130 respondents taken randomly (non-probability sampling) with a purposive sampling technique. The results of analysis SPSS can be concluded that perceived value and brand trust have a positive impact to brand loyalty partially and simultaneously with the result of T test for X1 is 2,055 and X2 is 7,604 which is grater than T tabel of 1,656. While the F test shows F count is 125,635 which has a higher figure than F table which is 3,07.

Abstract

Abstract Online journal systems literacy and Google Scholar among Tarakanita College (STARKI) is carried out to bridge the process of transformation from print journals to online journals. Therefore, careful preparation needs to be done both in terms of resources and technical aspects, including lecturers as sources of manuscripts must understand how to work online, as well as the technical ability to manage journals online. The intended participants of this training activity were 34 lecturers and education staff consisting of administrators of the Jurnal Administrasi dan Kesekretarisan and the Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi and Bisnis, as well as permanent and non-permanent lecturers of STARKI. It is hoped that through mentoring to the STARKI team is the ability to work scientifically independently armed with an understanding of the mechanism of SINTA, ARJUNA, and Google Scholar (GS) and STARKI journals can obtain optimal accreditation. Furthermore, the STARKI journal can be a contribution to education in particular, for the wider community to enjoy the knowledge that can be justified.Keywords: Google Scholar; Literacy; Online Journal System; STARKI. Abstrak Literasi sistem jurnal berbasis daring dan Google Cendekia di Kalangan Akademisi Sekolah Tinggi Tarakanita (STARKI) dilakukan dengan tujuan sebagai menjembatani proses transformasi dari jurnal cetak menuju jurnal daring. Oleh karena itu, perlu persiapan matang baik dari sisi sumber daya maupun dari sisi teknis antara lain para dosen sebagai sumber produsen naskah harus memahami cara kerja daring, juga kemampuan teknis mengelola jurnal secara daring. Peserta yang dituju dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 34 orang dosen dan tenaga kependidikan yang terdiri dari pengelola Jurnal Administrasi dan Kesekretarisan serta Jurnal Ilmu Komunikasi dan Bisnis, serta dosen tetap maupun tidak tetap STARKI. Diharapkan melalui pembimbingan kepada tim STARKI adalah kemampuan untuk bekerja ilmiah secara mandiri berbekal pemahaman mekanisme SINTA, ARJUNA, dan Google Scholar (GS) dan jurnal STARKI dapat memperoleh akreditasi optimal. Selanjutnya, jurnal STARKI dapat menjadi salah satu sumbangan bagi pendidikan khususnya, bagi masyarakat luas dapat menikmati pengetahuan yang dapat dipertanggungjawabkan kebenarannya.Kata Kunci: Google Cendekia; Jurnal Berbasis Daring; Literasi; STARKI.

Abstract

In the era of intense competition in the marketing world, companies are driven to create creative advertising effectively. The right advertising will have a long-term marketing impact, and easily influence and take market position. The problem discussed in this study is how Rinso try to influence consumer purchasing decisions by taking advantage through meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth in taking the position of detergents that can maintain color quality through Rinso Color. This study uses Barthes Semiology theory, with descriptive qualitative research methods. The object of research is color, which can be concluded from this analysis, if color is a form to showed how is the character of a personality. Personality that wants to be formed through color, is another effort that needs to be done through Rinso Color. It can be seen that the preparation of aspects of advertising represents all aspects of both character, tagline, diction, to the target market of Rinso which is part of the total branding terminology in integrated marketing communication. Keywords: Barthes Semiology; Integrated Marketing Communication; Rinso Ad.
