Abstract

The residual brine heat in the Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) has the potential to be utilized to generate electricity because it still has a fairly high temperature and pressure. The method of utilizing residual brine heat is by using the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) which can be used to utilize heat at low temperatures. The main parameter method measured is the pressure and temperature in the working fluid circulation, hot water circulation (brine), and cooling water circulation. The ORC system uses an evaporator component as a replacement for the generator or boiler system in the Rankine cycle. The ORC system utilizes low-temperature heat sources such as Internal Combustion Engine exhaust heat, solar heat, biomass and brine from geothermal power plants. At low temperatures, organic fluids have higher cycle efficiency than water. The mass rate value in this study was 13.63 kg/s. where the turbine work is 328.07 Kw and the condenser heat transfer rate is 113.40 kj/s. The pump work is 311.8544 Kw. And the rate of heat transfer in the evaporator has an efficiency of 4.93% where the heat absorbed by the evaporator is 129.6213 kj/s.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in adolescents, where self-harming behavior is behavior carried out to overcome emotional disturbances or emotional pain by hurting oneself without any intention of committing suicide. This research aims to (1) Describe the tendency of self-harm behavior of SMA X students in the city of Padang as a whole, (2) Describe the tendency of self-harm behavior of SMA X in the city of Padang in the aspect of self -punishment, (4) describing the tendency of self -harm behavior of high school students in Padang in the aspect of interpersonal influence. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research type. The population of this study was 600 students with a sample of 240 students who were students at SMA X in the city of Padang. Sampling used proportionate random sampling technique. Data collection used a self-harm instrument with Likert scale measurements. Based on the research results, it shows that 133 students of SMA Students' self-harm behavior when viewed from the self-harm aspect is as follows: (1) The emotional regulation aspect in the "medium" category is 153 students with a percentage of 72.86%, (2) The aspect of self-punishment in the "very high" category is 144 students. with a percentage of 68.57%, (3) Aspects of interpersonal influence in the "very high" category were 147 students with a percentage of 70.00%. From these results, it is very necessary to provide services to students in the form of information services, individual counseling services, group guidance services and group counseling services.

Abstract

Salah satu ahli yang menjelaskan tentang kepribadian adalah Carl Gustav Jung. Ia membagi kepribadian menjadi kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert. Beberapa faktor dapat mempengaruhi terbentuknya kepribadian salah satunya adalah kondisi keluarga. Bentuk kondisi keluarga yang ada salah satunya adalah keluarga broken home karena cerai hidup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadian siswa yang berasal dari keluarga broken home. Subjek penelitian pada penelitian ini 3 orang sebagai subjek utama dan 4 orang sebagai informan tambahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kaulitatif deskriptif, instrument yang digunakan adalah panduan wawancara yang di dalamnya berisikan aspek-aspek keperibadian. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadian menurut Carl Gustav Jung pada siswa yang berasal dari keluarga broken home. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dan pengamatan diketahui bahwa dari aspek-aspek kepribadian yang ada, subjek yang merupakan siswa yang berasal dari keluarga broken home menunjukan ciri ciri tipe kepribadian introvert. Aspek-aspek yang dominan menjunjukan ciri tipe kepribadian introvert pada subjek yang berasal dari keluarga broken home antara lain dilihat dari aspek aktivitas, mengambil resiko, kesukaan bergaul, pernyataan perasaan dan penuturan dorongan hati.

Abstract

Education is an important effort in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and learning process for students. In the process, educators who do not understand the intelligence of students will have difficulty facilitating the process of developing individual potential to realize their goals. intelligence is the ability to solve problems and create products that have cultural value. The intelligence possessed by students varies, or is also known as multiple intelligences. Multiple intelligence consists of nine types of intelligence which include: 1) logical-mathematical intelligence, 2) naturalistic intelligence, 3) musical intelligence, 4) verbal intelligence, 5)interpersonal intelligence, 6) bodily kinesthetic intelligence, 7) intrapersonal intelligence, 8) intelligence spatial-visual, and 9) existential. This research is a quantitative descriptive study conducted on 218 students of the biology department of UNP in 2022. It is hoped that this research will help educators to be able to design effective learning processes in accordance with the intelligence criteria of students.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri di Sekolah Berkebutuhan Khusus Negeri (SLBN) 1 Parepare. Kebersihan diri patut mendapat perhatian terutama bagi pelajar yang mempunyai keterbatasan tertentu dalam mencegah penyakit dan meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya, dan khususnya bagi pelajar berkebutuhan khusus, karena mereka mempunyai tantangan tersendiri dalam mempraktekkan kebiasaan tersebut. Layanan ini mencakup pendidikan dan penerapan praktik kebersihan diri melalui pendekatan  interaktif dan terpadu. Program tersebut diawali dengan mengedukasi guru, orang tua, dan siswa tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan diri melalui seminar dan penyuluhan. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup berbagai aspek kebersihan diri, antara lain: Hal-hal seperti mencuci tangan yang benar, menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut, serta pentingnya mandi dan pakaian bersih. Selain itu, siswa akan diajarkan pengetahuan dan penerapan tindakan kebersihan yang benar dengan pelatihan praktis menggunakan metode demonstrasi dan simulasi. Edukasi dan implementasi kebiasaan menjaga personal hygiene di SLBN 1 Parepare meningkatkan pemahaman dan praktik kebersihan pribadi di kalangan siswa berkebutuhan khusus, yang diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesehatan dan kualitas hidup mereka.

Abstract

Perasaan aman dan nyaman berada di sekolah sangat dibutuhkan oleh setiap siswa untuk menunjang pengembangan potensinya. Fenomena yang terjadi terdapat beberapa siswa yang mengalami kekerasan di sekolah berupa perilaku bullying. Kemunculan perilaku ini dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya yaitu kontrol diri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kontrol diri dan perilaku bullying siswa, serta menguji hubungan kontrol diri dan perilaku bullying siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dan korelasional dengan subjek penelitian 47 siswa. Penelitian menggunakan instrumen angket yang disusun dengan meggunakan model skala likert. Data diolah dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan untuk uji korelasi kedua variabel digunakan rumus product moment correlation. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying siswa. Feelings of comfort and secure in the school is needed by every student to support the development of potentialities. The phenomenon that occurs there are some students who experienced violence in schools in the form of bullying behavior. The appearance of this behavior can be caused by various factors, one of which is self-control. The study aims to describe self-control and bullying behavior of students, as well as to examine the relationship of self-control and student bullying behavior. This research is a descriptive and correlational research with subject of research of 47 students. The research used questionnaire instrument that was prepared using Likert scale model. Data is processed by descriptive statistical techniques and for the correlation test of both variables used product moment correlation formula. The results revealed there was a significant relationship between student’s self-control and bullying behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan kemandirian anak ditinjau dari pengasuh orangtua dan grandparents. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang siswa SD di Sumatera Barat (kelas 1-3 SD, usia rata-rata 6-9 tahun, laki-laki dan perempuan, diasuh oleh orangtua dan grandparent yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket kemandirian (validitas 45 item pernyataan) yang mengukur aspek kemampuan fisik, aspek percaya diri, aspek bertanggung jawab, aspek disiplin, aspek pandai bergaul, aspek saling berbagi dan aspek mengendalikan emosi. Data dianalisis dengan uji beda (t-test). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian anak yang difokuskan oleh orangtua dan grandrandparent sama-sama berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 80,00% dan dilihat dari nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) lebih besar dari taraf signifikansi 0,05 (0,864 > 0,05), sehingga H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemandirian anak diasuh oleh orangtua dan kemandirian anak yang diasuh oleh grandparent. Terkait dengan temuan ini, konselor perlu meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai pengasuhan orangtua maupun pengasuhan grandparents yang  baik melalui pemberian pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling.

Abstract

Career planning needs to be prepared before students jump directly into the world of careers. Career planning needs to be based on the potential that students have so that there is no conflict between the chosen career and the potential that exists in students. However, not all students can plan their careers well, so problems arise related to less than deal self-efficacy students in career choices. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of career guidance services in increasing the self-efficacy of class XII students in career selection. This research includes field research (Field Research) with the type of qualitative research and uses descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the condition of students' self-efficacy in choosing a career was marked by confusion in choosing a career, lack of self-confidence, and not knowing self-potential. Increasing students' self efficacy in choosing careers can be done with career guidance services carried out in groups, the stages include: 1) initial stage, 2) intermediate stage, 3) activity stage, and 4) final stage. The results of the career guidance service are that there is an increase resulting from the career guidance process, namely students can plan their careers well and can choose a career field that suits their potential. Abstract

In the face of the substantial impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, Industry 4.0 has expedited innovation in several industries, including education. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of intrinsic and extrinsic influences on the job satisfaction of counselors by applying Herzberg's dual factor theory. The employed methodology is a systematic literature review, encompassing the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, data abstraction, and analysis. This study examined scholarly papers published between 2019 and 2023, with a specific focus on school counselors and the field of guidance education. After applying rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria, the selection procedure yielded 10 pertinent articles out of 378 discovered documents. The study findings suggest that motivating circumstances, such as professional recognition, achievement, and development possibilities, have a substantial impact on the job satisfaction of counselors. By contrast, job discontent and burnout are linked to hygienic variables such as an excessive workload and insufficient institutional assistance. The present study highlights the necessity of achieving a harmonious equilibrium between motivators and hygienic elements in order to enhance the psychological well-being and job satisfaction of counselors. The results of this study offer valuable perspectives for the formulation of policies and implementation of strategies that promote the well-being of counselors in educational environments.

Abstract

Divorce is a long-standing problem and still often has an impact on family members. Divorce often begins with various conflicts resulting from a lack of psychological readiness in the face of marriage. Therefore, researchers conducted research related to the analysis of the psychological readiness of couples in the face of marriage. The research method uses a quantitative approach to descriptive methods. The subject of this study was a couple who were getting married and were conducting screening at the religious affairs office of Padang City. The study subjects were taken using a purposive sampling technique of 150 people consisting of 75 men and 75 women. The research instrument was developed from the Theory of Fowers & Olson (1989) using a poll of likert scale models. The study findings showed the picture of psychological readiness in the face of marriage in men was at a high category of 45.33% and women were in the high category by 48%. The results of this study are input for counselors one of them through prenuptial counseling in an effort to improve the psychological readiness of couples in the face of marriage.
