Abstract

Abstract

The development of technology is currently very fast, has penetrated also in the world of education. However, of the majority of schools that have implemented technology in their operations, SMKS YASTI Cisaat is still constrained by the use of technology. New student registration is still done manually. Admission of new students starts from the initial registration of new students, re-registration until the announcement of the results of new student admissions is still manual. This condition is still applied so far, schools often experience errors such as in data input, data processing until the determination of results becomes constrained. The purpose of this study is to be able to provide a website-based design of an information system for new student admissions at SMKS YASTI Cisaat. The urgency of this research if it is not implemented immediately is that it can hinder the development and use of technology at the school level. In addition, there is a risk to keep all vulnerabilities and errors due to manual actions continue to occur. The development model used by the researcher uses the Waterfall Model. In this study, researchers used several stages in the waterfall model, including analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation. The system design uses MySQL as the database as well as PHP and HTML for basic programming. This research succeeded in developing web-based software to assist SMKS YASTI Cisaat in accepting new students.

Abstract

In this article, I have tried to highlight some aspects of the two perspectives. The first is the perspective of the researcher who recalls his past as a student in a communist country, interpreting his life experiences given his impact on his education and teaching profession. The second perspective is that of the researcher who looks to the future, initially lacking in resources but willing to connect with global research in his area of interest, educational ethics. International studies that support and inspire our research in the domain of educational ethics include philosophical works, the study of moral psychology, and resources from sociology and organizational psychology as well as from pedagogy. Regarding expected trends in comparative and international education, I have grouped them into three categories: (1) Trends related to research themes in comparative education: many of the main themes of education have been filtered or will be filtered through a comparative lens (educational history, philosophy- educational physics, curriculum and didactics, sociology of education, politics and economics of education and educational psychology); (2) Methodological trends in quantitative and qualitative methodologies together will support the research process in comparative education; and (3) Trends regarding the impact of research in comparative pedagogy: Global Models of will Inspire Local Initiatives without Copiable Beings.

Abstract

This research is motivated by English language learning, especially at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level, which has not been effective in improving students' speaking skills. Various factors, such as the use of inappropriate learning methods, lack of facilities, and lack of student motivation, cause this. English language learning is an important aspect of education, especially in the era of globalization, which demands international communication skills. This study aims to analyze English learning management in improving students' speaking skills at MTs Nurul Jalal and MTs Khairul Ummah North Jakarta. This research is based on the philosophy of constructivism, which emphasizes the importance of the role of students in constructing knowledge through direct experience, as well as education management theory, which involves the processes of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The research method used is a qualitative case study, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. Respondents consisted of teachers, principals, and students in both MTs. The results showed that learning planning in these two madrasahs is quite good. However, its implementation still requires adjustments, especially in the organization of time and the use of learning media. Obstacles faced include limited facilities such as language laboratories and students' lack of confidence in communicating using English. Nevertheless, improvement efforts such as teacher training and the use of digital technology are starting to overcome these problems. This study concludes that effective learning management, with support from all school elements, can improve students' speaking skills. There is a need for synergy between teachers, principals, and educational policies that are more supportive of the development of language competencies, especially students' speaking skills in the madrasah environment.
