Abstract

Background: Supporting students' psychological well-being is crucial for teachers, particularly in times of crisis. However, communication barriers and low confidence in administering Psychological First Aid (PFA) often hinder effective support. This study examines the impact of PFA training and interpersonal communication skills on educators' self-efficacy. Methods: A randomized controlled trial with cluster sampling was conducted among 88 educators from four schools in Aceh (September–October 2024). Participants were assigned to intervention and control groups, with data collected using a pre-test and post-test design. The intervention consisted of PFA and interpersonal communication training, delivered in 2-hour sessions over four weeks. Self-efficacy was measured using the General Self-Efficacy Scale, with data analyzed using normality tests, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, and the Mann-Whitney U Test. Results: Educators who received PFA training showed significantly higher self-efficacy compared to the control group (U = 537.500, p < 0.001; Wilcoxon Z = -5.785, p = 0.001). Similarly, interpersonal communication training led to significant self-efficacy improvements (U = 306.500, p = 0.001; Wilcoxon Z = -5.783, p < 0.001). Conclusion: PFA and interpersonal communication training enhance teachers' self-efficacy in providing psychological support. Wider implementation of these interventions is recommended to improve students' psychological well-being in Aceh.

The best treatment to suppress for weed growth was at Indazi-flame and Iodosulfuron 250 g․ha-1, a total weed cover of 8,06 % and dominated by the narrow leave Ottochloa nodosa with SDR value of 78,47 %. The biggest increase for height and diameter of acacia stems was for the active ingredient Sulfentrazon 750 ml. ha-1 which 107,56 cm and a diameter stem 3,62 cm. Highest value for Specific Leaf Area was at a treatment of Control with 119,37 cm².g-1. Abstract

This study redesigns the category feature interface on the WarShop application using the user-centered design method to improve the user experience. The goal is to make it easier for users to find the products they want specifically and quickly. Data was obtained through interviews and observations of 10 WarShop users, where 9 users felt that the existing category features were not specific, causing users to take longer to find the products they wanted. The user-centered design method was chosen because it involves users from the beginning of the design process, resulting in a better interface that meets user needs. This interface design resulted in a more specific category feature that helps users find items directly according to the category they are looking for, and provides recommendations for similar products based on the product being searched for using keywords or the product being displayed. After the redesign, an evaluation was carried out using testing with the metrics task success, time on task, and error metrics with five users who had been previously interviewed, based on research indicating that the majority of usability issues can be found by the first five users tested. There were no problems found in the task success test and the error test resulted in an average error rate for all tasks of 0%, while in the time on task, some users exceeded the time limit. However, this is because users were interested in other products displayed based on category and recommendations.

Abstract

Resolving criminal cases through the judiciary is considered successful if law enforcers are able to bring the perpetrators to justice and receive punishment. In certain cases, the public hopes that there will be no need for prosecution because the crime committed is not commensurate with the sentence imposed. Provisions about Restorative Justice in Indonesia, the civil law legal system is not yet clearly regulated in the law. New Zealand is a country Common Law who successfully implemented it Restorative Justice at the Correctional Institution. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is an Islamic country that most consistently applies Islamic criminal law which has a concept Restorative Justice. The aim of the research is to compare the concept of restorative justice between Indonesia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. Through these three different legal systems, which legal system is restorative justice most appropriate to apply? in Indonesia Restorative Justice guided by the internal provisions of the Police, Prosecutor's Office and Courts, which have not yet been stated in New Zealand Law Restorative Justice under the Parole Law of 2002, Saudi Arabia Restorative Justice relies on transcendental rules, namely the Qur’an and Hadits as well as the judge's discretion. The fact that it is applied in different countries is not certain that it will be useful if applied in one's own country or another country. Abstract

Mental health remains a global health challenge with significant impact. Mothers of stunted toddlers often experience psychosocial pressures that can negatively affect their mental well-being. In the working area of the Lampisang Community Health Center, cases of both stunting and mental health disorders remain prevalent. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the mental health of mothers with stunted toddlers in this region. A quantitative research approach with a cross-sectional design was employed. The study was conducted from July 26 to August 1, 2024. The target population consisted of 725 mothers with toddlers. A proportional random sampling technique was used to select a total of 439 respondents. Inclusion criteria included mothers who had toddlers, lived within the Lampisang Community Health Center’s service area, and were willing to participate in the study. The exclusion criterion was mothers who were not present at the time of data collection. Logistic regression analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that the most dominant factors associated with abnormal maternal mental health were the lack of support from husbands (OR = 72.94; CI = 23.78–223.71; p = 0.0001) and the incidence of stunting in toddlers (OR = 59.64; CI = 9.86–360.61; p = 0.0001). These findings indicate that lack of husband’s support and the presence of stunting in toddlers are the most significant contributors to mental health problems among mothers.
