Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the lack of Arabic vocabulary owned by student, so that students find it difficult to follow Arabic learning, this is based on the results of observations which show a low average value of Arabic vocabulary. Based on this background, the researcher limits the problem to increasing vocabulary through visual media. The purpose of this study is to increase the Arabic vocabulary of class VIIA students with 21 male and female students. Based on the results of research that, class VIIA MTs Al-Ishlah Lubuk Kuyung, Sukamulya, Pugung, Tanggamus using visual media creates a pleasant learning atmosphere. With visual media makes is easier for students to remember and memorize vocabulary in Arabic Learning. The application of visual media in learning Arabic vocabulary in class VIIA MTs Al-Ishlah Lubuk Kuyung, Sukamulya, Pugung, Tanggamus, makes students more enthusiastic, then communication between students is actively established, so that students' vocabulary mastery increases. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurangnya kosa kata bahasa Arab yang dimiliki siswa, sehingga siswa kesulitan mengikuti pembelajaran bahasa Arab, ini berdasarkan hasil observasi yang menunjukkan rendahnya nilai rata- rata pada kosakata bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti mebatasi permasalahan pada peningkatan kosa kata melalui media visual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kosa kata bahasa Arab siswa kelas VIIA dengan jumlah siswa 21 orang laki-laki dan perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa siswa kelas VIIA MTs Al-Ishlah Lubuk Kuyung, Sukamulya, Pugung, Tanggamus dengan menggunakan media visual membuat suasana belajar yang menyenangkan. Dengan media visual memudahkan siswa dalam mengingat dan menghafalkan kosa kata dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penerapan media visual dalam pembelajaran kosa kata Bahasa Arab di kelas VIIA MTs Al-Ishlah Lubuk Kuyung, Sukamulya, Pugung, Tanggamus, membuat siswa lebih antusias, kemudian komunikasi antar peserta didik terjalin secara aktif, sehingga penguasaan kosa kata siswa menjadi meningkat. Kata kunci : Media Visual, Kosa Kata Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yakni perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Palu pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat mengikuti langkah-langkah yaitu (1) perumusan masalah, (2) pemrosesan data, (3) penyusunan dugaan sementara (konjektur), (4) pemeriksaan dugaan sementara (konjektur), (5) penarikan kesimpulan, (6) penerapan konsep. Kata Kunci: Penemuan Terbimbing; Pemahaman; Operasi Hitung Bilangan Bulat Abstract: The reseach is aim to obtain a description of application of guided discovery method wich can increase the students’ knowledge on material operations of integers. This research refers to research design proposed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, namely: planning, action and servation, and reflection. Based on the results, it can be concluded that application of guided discovery method can incruice knowledge students’ in the form of operations integers material in class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Palu following these steps, namely: (1) formulation of the problem, (2) data processing, (3) the preparation of provisional estimates (conjecture), (4) examination of provisional estimates (conjecture), (5) drawing conclusions, (6) the application of the concept. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi luas permukaan dan volume kubus dan balok di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengacu pada desain Kemmis dan Mc. Teggart dengan menerapkan 4 komponen dan dua siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, wawancara dan catatan lapangan serta dianalisis dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Palu mengikuti fase-fase yaitu: (1) menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, (2) mengontrol hasil ringkasan siswa, (3) membimbing siswa untuk diskusi dan tanya jawab, (4) menyajikan informasi, (5) memberikan penghargaan, (6) membagikan modul yang disertai tugas mandiri siswa. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which refers to the design of Kemmis and Mc. Teggart by applying 4 components and two cycles including planning, the implementation of the act of, observation and reflection. The data collected through the test, observation, interviews and field notes and analyzed by reduction of the data, presents data and make the conclusion . This research result showed that the application of reciprocal teaching can improve learning outcomes students to the matter of surface area and volume the cube and the beam in the class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Palu following these steps namelyl (1) submitting target and motivate student, (2) controlling result of student summary, (3) guiding student for the discussion of question and answer, (4) presenting information, (5) giving appreciation, (6) alloting module which accompained duty student. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang penerapan strategi Polya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi soal cerita persegi panjang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Palu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah peneliti­an tindakan kelas (PTK) dan desain penelitian yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan strategi Polya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi soal cerita persegi panjang di kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Palu, dengan mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) memahami masalah, (2) merencanakan cara penyelesaian, (3) melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah, dan (4) melihat kembali solusi lengkap. Kata Kunci: strategi Polya, hasil belajar, soal cerita dan persegi panjang. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to obtain a description about the application of Polya strategies that can improve student learning outcomes in a rectangular material about the word problem in class VII SMP Negeri 19 Palu. This was a classroom action research. design refers to the design of the research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, that is planning, action and observation, and reflection. Types of data used is qualitative data and quantitative data with data collection techniques are observation, interviews, field notes, and test. This research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle was conducted in two sessions. Based on the results of this research indicate that the application of Polya strategies that can improve student learning outcomes in a rectangular material about the word problem in class VII SMP 19 Palu, by following the steps as follows: (1) understand the problem, (2) the plan of settlement, (3) implement plans of problem solving, and (4) look back at the complete solution. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran langsung dengan menggunakan strategi Polya yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita untung dan rugi di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Palu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Rancangan penelitian mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri atas empat komponen, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data aktivitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, data aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dan data hasil tes akhir tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran langsung dengan menggunakan strategi Polya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita untung dan rugi. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mengikuti fase-fase pada model pembelajaran langsung yaitu menyampaikan tujuan dan mempersiapkan siswa, presentasi dan demonstrasi, membimbing pelatihan, mengecek pemahaman siswa dan memberi­kan umpan balik, serta memberikan kesempatan untuk pelatihan lanjutan dan penerapan. Dalam membimbing pelatihan, peneliti menggunakan langkah-langkah Polya yaitu memahami masalah, membuat perencanaan, melaksanakan perencanaan, dan melakukan pengecekan kembali. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran langsung, Strategi Polya, Hasil belajar, Untung dan Rugi. Abstract: The research aimed to describe the application of direct learning model and polya strategy to increase the result study of students in finishing essay about loss and profit class VII SMP negeri 2 Palu. This research is a kind of classroom action research (CAR). This research is made based on the research design of Kemmis and Mc Taggart that consist of four components, they are (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This research consists of two cycles. The data is gained from the teacher’s activity in learning process and student’s activity in following the learning process and the action test data. The result of the research shows that the application of direct learning model and polya strategy are able to increase the student’s result study in finishing the questions about loss and profit. In this research, the researcher follows the phases on the direct learning model to describe the purposes, prepare the students, give presentation and demonstration, guide exercises, check the student’s understanding, give feedback, and give chance to the next exercises and implementation. In guiding exercises, the researcher uses the steps of Polya strategies; understanding the problem, making plan, doing plan, and checking again. Abstract

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) are an efficient renewable energy solution for providing electricity, especially in areas not covered by conventional power grids. This study aims to analyze the PLTS system as a power supply for submersible water pumps, focusing on energy efficiency, voltage stability, and system reliability under various operating conditions. The research methodology includes experimental analysis and simulation using a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through direct measurements on a PLTS system consisting of solar panels, a power controller, batteries, and an inverter as the power source for the submersible water pump. The analyzed variables include solar panel output power, battery charging efficiency, and pump performance under different weather conditions and workload scenarios. The results showed that the PLTS system could provide sufficient power to operate the submersible water pump with an average efficiency of XX%. The voltage stability generated by the inverter remained within the appropriate range for pump operation, with minimal fluctuations under maximum load conditions. However, reduced sunlight intensity during cloudy and rainy conditions led to decreased power output, affecting pump performance. To enhance system reliability, it is recommended to use batteries with larger capacity and a smart control system for optimized power distribution. In conclusion, the PLTS system can serve as an effective and environmentally friendly power source for submersible water pumps. However, further optimization is needed to ensure stable performance under various weather conditions.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus (DM) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang disebabkan oleh gaya hidup yang sering dianggap tidak penting di berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Meningkatnya angka kejadian DM di Indonesia terjadi akibat terpaparnya masyarakat dengan berbagai faktor risikonya, namun tidak diiringi dengan pengetahuan, khususnya tentang pencegahannya, yang mumpuni. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat melalui penyuluhan DM, khususnya DM tipe 2 (DMT2), agar masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang baik, sehingga mampu merubah gaya hidupnya ke arah yang lebih baik dan terhindar dari penyakit DM. Metode kegiatan pengabdian ini dimulai dengan melakukan analisis situasi, menyusun jadwal penyuluhan, melaksanakan penyuluhan dan melakukan evaluasi setelah kegiatan dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang DMT2 dan antusias masyarakat menunjukkan keingintahuan dalam mencegah DMT2. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa promosi kesehatan dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat agar memiliki gaya hidup sehat sehingga dapat terhindar dari penyakit tidak menular, khususnya DMT2.

Abstract

The essence of education at the school is a learning process. There is no quality of education in schools without the equal of learning quality. Various efforts to improve the quality of education in schools can be perceived as less useful if it is not touched the improvement of the learning process. Among all components of learning, the teacher is the crucial one. There is no quality of learning without the equal quality of the teachers. One of the programs held in order to empower teachers is an academic supervision. It is a series of activities to help teachers in developing their ability to manage the learning process for the achievement of academic goals. Thus, the essence of academic supervision is to help teachers in developing skills professionalism. In achieving that lofty goal, the academic supervision should be implemented in all scope of the school. Moreover, the implementation of it is done by the principal as a leader, and as well as a supervisor who can foster the good morale for teachers. Based on the mentioned background, the researcher conducts the research on the implementation of the principal academic supervision in improving teachers’ professionalism in MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong Pajarakan Probolinggo. The purpose of the study is to describe the planning of the principal academic supervision in improving teachers’ professionalism, to describe the implementation of the principal academic supervision in improving the teachers’ professionalism, and to describe the evaluation of the principal academic supervision in improving the professionalism of teachers. This study uses qualitative research methods, and the explanation of the research results are not numerical but scientific one. The effort to obtain the valid data, the selected samples taken in this study by using purposive sampling techniques to select those that are considered most competent to understand the examined object. The data collection method uses observation, interviews, and documentaries. The observation methods are done by observing and recording, the interviews are conducted by interviewing the informants, and documentation methods are made to the objects documented. The data obtained are analyzed by using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques, and then the validity of the data is applied by using triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the study, the implementation of principal academic supervision in improving the teachers’ professionalism in MTs Zainul Hasan Genggong Pajarakan Probolinggo is concluded as follow: First, the planning of academic supervision program is organized at the beginning of the school year before starting the overall teaching and learning activities, and included in the work program or the School Budget by involving all components of the school in determining the planning objectives, basic tools, and methods used in the academic supervision . Second, in implementing the academic supervision, the supervisor uses the individuals and groups techniques as well as the direct and indirect approaches. Third, in the results of the evaluation of academic supervision, it is found several obstacles, such as: (1) from the teachers point; the coaching process done by the principal are less as teachers often do not attend in the regular meetings as well as the meeting to implement the supervision models. (2) from the principal point; occasionally, the principal does not attend in the teachers coaching process that has been scheduled. (3) from the funds point; the lack of funds in in-service training activities caused by unbudgeted program arranged by the agency so that the teacher got less information due to the implementation done regularly.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang majemuk dengan keragaman suku, ras, budaya, dan agama. Keberagaman ini dikenal sebagai pluralitas dan diakui secara hukum melalui semboyan “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.” Namun, pluralitas seringkali disalahpahami sebagai pluralisme, yakni paham yang meyakini bahwa semua agama adalah benar secara setara. Pemahaman ini menimbulkan tantangan serius bagi dakwah Islam, karena mengarah pada relativisme kebenaran dan dapat menggoyahkan akidah umat. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur yang membahas konsep pluralisme, perkembangan pemikirannya, serta respons dakwah terhadapnya. Analisis dilakukan melalui interpretasi terhadap gagasan tokoh-tokoh pluralisme dan dampaknya terhadap pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pluralisme agama merupakan tantangan doktrinal yang berdampak pada pemahaman kebenaran mutlak dalam Islam. Tiga arus pemikiran pluralisme di Indonesia teridentifikasi: pertama, pluralisme yang masih mengakui eksklusivitas agama; kedua, pluralisme liberal yang menolak absolutisme; dan ketiga, pendekatan moderat antara keduanya. Ketiganya mempengaruhi cara masyarakat memahami kebenaran agama. Kesimpulannya, tantangan dakwah masa kini bukan hanya pada aspek pluralitas sosial, tetapi juga pada pluralisme ideologis yang mengaburkan batas kebenaran. Dakwah harus responsif, dialogis, dan solutif tanpa memaksakan akidah, namun tetap menegaskan pentingnya menjaga kemurnian iman umat dari relativisme agama

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the field of Islamic preaching. The reality of virtual preaching is currently a phenomenon that cannot be ignored, because it has become the main means for preachers to convey Islamic teachings to the wider community through various social media platforms and digital spaces. This study examines the effectiveness and ethics of preaching in cyberspace by emphasizing how technological innovation can blend with the tradition of Islamic preaching that has long been rooted in society. Cyberspace allows for the expansion of the reach of preaching that was previously limited by space and time. With this progress, new challenges arise, especially in terms of delivering messages that must still maintain the principles of Islamic ethics, content accuracy, and social responsibility of preachers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Literature studies were conducted to examine relevant literature related to digital preaching, Islamic communication, and the development of modern communication technology. The results of this study indicate that virtual preaching has a high level of effectiveness in reaching a wider audience, especially young people who are more responsive to digital content that is communicative, concise, and visually appealing. Preachers who are able to combine traditional Islamic values with creative approaches through digital media tend to get positive responses from the audience.
