Abstract

Busuk buah rhizoctonia adalah salah satu penyakit pada tomat yang terjadi karena adanya serangan dari cendawan Rhizoctonia solani Kühn yang menyebabkan penurunan hasil buah tomat yang cukup signifikan dan mempengaruhi tinggi permintaan pasar, sehingga membutuhkan upaya pengendalian jamur yang dapat mengimbangi angka serangan penyakit. Secara teknis petani saat ini menggunakan pestisida sintetik untuk pengendalian penyakit pada tanaman budidaya yang dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan, sehingga dibutuhkan alternatif pengendalian dengan menggunakan pestisida nabati. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi jamur penyebab penyakit, mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun salam, lengkuas dan kunyit terhadap jamur, serta menganalisis kombinasi terbaik ekstrak daun salam, lengkuas dan kunyit dengan konsentrasi 5% untuk mengendalikan jamur penyebab penyakit busuk buah Rhizoctonia pada tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Hama Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mulawarman dari Januari  hingga April 2023. Hasil percobaan disusun dalam  Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 8 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 6 kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan di uji lanjut menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Penelitian ini menunjukan pemberian ekstrak daun salam, lengkuas dan kunyit memberikan aktivitas penghambatan pada pertumbuhan koloni jamur. Pemberian perlakuan kombinasi ekstrak daun salam, lengkus dan kunyit memiliki efektifitas terbaik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan koloni jamur uji dengan konsentrasi 5% ditunjukkan pada daya hambat sebesar 53,56%.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kemampuan siswa sekolah menengah dalam memanfaatkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif yang inovatif dan adaptif. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan metode learning by doing yang melibatkan 30 siswa dari tingkat sekolah menengah. Kegiatan mencakup tahapan persiapan, pembukaan, penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, evaluasi, dan penutupan. Pada tahap praktik, siswa dilatih menggunakan aplikasi berbasis AI seperti chatbot edukatif, generator latihan soal otomatis, dan platform pembelajaran adaptif yang mendukung pembelajaran mandiri. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dan penerapan AI dalam pendidikan, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test meningkat sebesar 32% dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Selain itu, 90% peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini membantu mereka memahami materi dengan lebih mudah dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Pelatihan ini juga membangun kreativitas serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara positif dan produktif. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi AI dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan siswa di era digital.

Abstract

The static pressure data of the combustion chamber which can generally be obtained by performing direct measurements when static test is performed on the rocket is an important parameter in predicting the thrust and design of the combustion chamber of the rocket. However, there is a model rocket for flight test that is used in static test. Thus, there is no mounting for static pressure sensors (for measurement) are made. To solve the problem, then the inverse method is used as an iterative solution for the basic equations of the rocket thrust force in the nozzle by guessing the value of the static pressure of the combustion chamber firstly and calculate the iteration by including the value of the rocket thrust from static test data and the efficiency variation of the nozzle. The results of this calculation are then validated by using a 3D-CFD numerical simulation to obtain a more detailed comparison on the nozzle. In this research RX 320 LAPAN rocket nozzle with focus on maximum static thrust data of static test results is used. The 3-D numerical simulation is performed using Numeca CFD software, with k-extended wall extended turbulent model, numerical multigrid level 3 scheme, center based, and convergence criteria of 10 e-05. The result of calculation by inverse method and its comparison with numerical simulation shows that the smallest difference of the combustion chamber static pressure between inverse method and numerical simulation is 0.017%, that is achieved at 92% nozzle efficiency. At this point, the static pressure of the combustion chamber is 57.94 bar. From this point of view, the results of this comparison indicate that the inverse method can be used accurately for static pressure of the combustion chamber prediction, if the nozzle efficiency is given correctly. Furthermore, with given static pressure of the combustion chamber correctly, it will be very helpful in the design of the more optimum combustion chamber.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mendesain intake supersonik untuk aplikasi sistem propulsi ramjet. Desain intake ramjet sangat penting bagi proses pembakaran dalam ruang bakar mesin ramjet. Dalam desain intake konikal ini, kondisi Mach 2 dijadikan sebagai acuan, dengan kompresi eksternal. Penelitian ini juga menguji intake ramjet dalam terowongan angin supersonik. Desain dilakukan dengan menempatkan gelombang kejut pada bibir cowl intake untuk memperoleh pressure recovery yang tinggi dan gaya hambat serendah mungkin. Hasil desain analitik dibandingkan dengan hasil numerik pada berbagai kondisi intake – subkritikal, kritikal, dan superkritikal. Hasil numerik juga divalidasi dengan eksperimen model. Intake yang didesain memberi pressure recovery sebesar 0,93, namun hasil ini cukup berbeda dengan hasil eksperimental. Ini disebabkan karena efisiensi kompresi tidak diikutkan dalam proses desain.

Abstract

This community service project focuses on disaster advocacy in Aceh, Indonesia, by drawing lessons from Japans experience with Mount Fuji. The subject of dedication is the local community and university students in Banda Aceh, particularly those with limited knowledge and preparedness regarding the volcanic hazards of Mount Seulawah. The aim of this program is to raise disaster literacy, strengthen awareness, and encourage proactive preparedness through an innovative advocacy model that combines technology and cultural approaches. The methodology of this program involved several stages: information gathering and literature review about Mount Seulawah and Mount Fuji; team discussions and planning to design advocacy content; interactive media displays such as VR application MSeulawah, 360-degree videos, banners, brochures, and cultural arts; and public advocacy conducted during the Bunkasai Festival at Syiah Kuala University. Tactics included the use of cardboard VR for immersive experiences, video screenings, interactive games to test disaster knowledge, and cultural elements such as Japanese art and traditional games to increase community engagement. The outcomes demonstrate that the integration of technology and cultural strategies was effective in attracting participation, especially among students. Visitors reported an increase in knowledge and awareness of volcanic risks, while the interactive media successfully enhanced retention and engagement. This initiative highlights the potential of hybrid advocacy models to strengthen community resilience and suggests the establishment of a Seulawah Museum as a long-term educational platform.

Abstract

Student delinquency is one of the challenges faced in the school environment, especially at the junior high school level. This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in dealing with student delinquency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with field research type with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation.The research results show that PAI teachers have a strategic role as educators, advisors, role models, mentors and motivators in shaping student character. PAI teachers apply various strategies, such as providing an understanding of religious values, holding group discussions, and taking a personal approach to students who have problems. Apart from that, collaboration between PAI teachers and Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers is an important factor in creating effective solutions. In addition, the study highlights that the integration of religious education in school culture contributes significantly to the prevention and reduction of student delinquency. Therefore, strengthening the role of PAI teachers is essential in fostering disciplined, responsible, and ethical behavior among students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of entrepreneurial networking in moderating the relationship of leadership style to the performance of MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. Literature and field research design with quantitative approach. Research subjects taken in this study are MSME in the city of Pematangsiantar. The research was conducted in eight districts in the city of Pematangsiantar. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Data analysis test equipment using Smartpls statistical software. The results obtained were positive and significant between Transformational Leadership with Entrepreneur Networking, Transformational Leadership with MSME performance, and Entrepreneur Networking with MSME performance and positive and no significant between situational leadership with Entrepreneur Networking. Coderation results obtained Entrepreneur Networking is not able to moderate the relationship between situational leadership on MSME performance, and Entrepreneur Networking proved capable of moderating the relationship between transformational leadership on MSME performance.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease with a steadily increasing prevalence, especially in Indonesia. One early prevention effort is detection through regular blood sugar and cholesterol screening, particularly in adults. This community service activity aims to raise public awareness of the importance of early screening as a form of preventing the risk of DM. The activity was conducted in Village X and involved 110 participants aged 30–65 years. The screening included random blood sugar (BGS), total cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and counseling on a healthy lifestyle. The results showed that 28% of participants had a BGS above the normal limit (>140 mg/dL), 36% had high cholesterol (>200 mg/dL), and 42% had a BMI in the overweight-obese category. After the education, 85% of participants reported an increased understanding of DM risk factors and the importance of regular check-ups. This activity has proven effective as a promotive and preventive measure to reduce the risk of DM in the community.

Abstract

Nutrient deficiency in soil has a negative impact on plant growth and productivity. Limited use of chemical fertilizers and poor soil conditions encourage the need for environmentally friendly alternatives. One solution is the utilization of organic waste such as goat manure, rice husks, and bran as raw materials for compost fertilizer. This training aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of SETMA members at the Faculty of Forestry, Tadulako University, in processing organic waste into quality solid fertilizer. The training was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation phase included theoretical sessions on nutrient content and material benefits, followed by hands-on practice in compost production, from mixing materials, fermentation using EM4, to storage. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, and observation during practice. The results indicated increased understanding and active participation among participants. This training not only equipped them with technical skills but also raised awareness about the importance of managing organic waste to support sustainable agriculture. It is expected that this activity can be widely implemented and serve as a model for environmental education in both academic and community settings.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on Discovery Learning enriched with HOTS-oriented Islamic concepts for elementary school students. The development model used in this study was the PLOMP model, which consists of preliminary research, development or prototyping, and assessment phases. This study was conducted at an elementary school in Jambi City during the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected using material validation instruments, instructional design validation instruments, multimedia validation instruments, Qur'anic interpretation validation instruments (Islamic studies), and student response instruments. The data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed that the developed multimedia falls into the “very valid” and “very practical” categories. Furthermore, the effectiveness analysis revealed a moderate gain score, indicating that the multimedia is effective in enhancing students' higher-order thinking skills. These findings suggest that the interactive multimedia developed is appropriate for use in elementary thematic learning to support 21st-century learning goals.
