Abstract

The digital era presents challenges and opportunities for Islamic boarding schools to empower students in the field of entrepreneurship. Training on the use of digital e-commerce platforms at the Al Jauharen Islamic Boarding School in Jambi aims to improve students' entrepreneurial skills and interests. This activity uses a participatory approach through theory, practice, and mentoring sessions. A total of 30 students took part in the training, with pre-tests and post-tests used to measure understanding. The results showed that 85% of participants experienced an increase in understanding, and 78% were interested in starting an independent business. Several students have succeeded in marketing products through platforms such as Shopee and Instagram. The obstacles faced include time management and limited access to technology. This training is effective in improving digital skills and entrepreneurial motivation, but requires further mentoring and technological support so that students' businesses are sustainable. With these positive results, it is hoped that similar training can be implemented in other Islamic boarding schools as an effort to empower the economy and develop students' competencies in the digital era. Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death globally. Prevention and management efforts continue to be developed to address this issue. Specialist nurses play a role as direct care providers, applying evidence-based nursing and conducting nursing innovations. Specialized medical-surgical nursing residency programs have been implemented to apply the role of nurses as direct care providers, researchers, and innovators. The role of direct nursing care providers is carried out by providing nursing care to 30 cases managed through resumes and the primary case of Coronary Artery Disease 3VD using Roy's Adaptation Model theory. This study used a descriptive quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental approach. The sampling technique employed non-probability sampling using consecutive sampling, with 22 respondents selected as the sample for EBN implementation. The sampling technique utilized non-probability sampling with consecutive sampling. The number of respondents in the EBN application sample was 22, with univariate and bivariate analysis conducted. Statistical analysis results showed a significant difference in mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure between before and after the intervention (p=0.000). Practice analysis results indicated that the Roy Adaptation Model is effective for patients with cardiovascular system disorders.

Abstract

Improving power quality in electrical distribution systems is increasingly important with the increasing use of nonlinear loads, such as Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD), which can produce harmonies. This harmonic has the potential to damage equipment, reduce system efficiency, and interfere with power quality. Distribution systems such as IEEE 13 Bus are often used for power quality management analysis. Through simulation, researchers can identify the source and impact of harmonics and evaluate solutions, such as the application of passive filters that absorb or divert harmonic currents, to reduce their negative effects in the distribution system. In this study, two power sources, several transformers, static loads, and nonlinear loads in the form of Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) were used. The simulation was carried out using Simulink R2019b to model the distribution network, generators, transformers, and loads. The simulation results show that the Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) load can produce a total harmonic current distortion (THDi) of 24.62% in bus 7, while the total harmonic voltage distortion (THDv) is 0.97%. To minimize harmonic values, passive filters with variations of RL, RC, LC, and RLC are used. The results show that the use of RL passive filters is more effective in reducing THDi and THDv values in bus 7 by 24.47% and 0.97%.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the composition of biochar as a soil enhancer and mycorrhizal dose, which affected the nutrient uptake of cayenne plants. This experimental research was based on a separate plot design (RPT) with a basic randomized block design (RCBD). The main plot experiment was vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza or VAM (m) with three levels: mycorrhiza 10 g/plant (m1), mycorrhiza 15 g/plant (m2), and mycorrhiza 20 g/plant (m3). The subplot is biochar composition as soil enhancer (b) with three types: biochar husk 50%+25% soil+25% sand (b1), 50% sand+25% soil+25% biochar wood (b2), and wood charcoal biochar 50%+soil 25%+biochar charcoal husk 25% (b3). Each level of the VAM doses factor is combined with biochar. These nine treatment combinations and the levels were repeated thrice, accounting for 27 experimental units. The results showed that the parameters of phosphorus uptake, potassium uptake, and fresh root weight had a positive and significant relationship to the percentage of mycorrhizal infections. The combination treatment of mycorrhiza 20 g/plant and the composition of 50% husk biochar+25% soil+25% sand, 15 g mycorrhizal dose treatment with 50% wood biochar+25% soil+25% biochar rice husk and 20 g/plant are the best treatment as a planting medium.

Abstract

Critical thinking has become a key focus in modern education as a response to contemporary challenges. However, field observations show that students’ ability to recognize and evaluate IPAS (Science and Social Sciences Integration) content remains relatively low, indicating underdeveloped critical thinking skills. These skills can be nurtured through effective classroom instruction. In reality, many existing learning models fail to fully accommodate students’ cognitive needs. To address this gap, this study aims to develop the IPAER learning model. Employing the ADDIE research and development framework consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation this study collected data through observations, interviews, response questionnaires, and critical thinking tests. The findings indicate that the IPAER model is highly valid, with validation scores of 90.25% for content, 92.22% for language, 93.68% for instructional design, and 94.61% for educational technology. The model also demonstrated high practicality, with a score of 94%. Its effectiveness was evidenced by significant improvements in students’ critical thinking skills, as shown by a t-test result of p < 0.001 and high N-gain scores of 0.7604 (limited trial) and 0.7638 (large-scale trial). These results contribute to the advancement of innovative learning models that foster higher-order thinking in elementary education.

Abstract

The discourse on amnesty and abolition in Indonesia has tended to be understood merely as a political legal instrument oriented toward the interests of the state, when in practice there is a tension between the aspects of justice, political reconciliation, and the protection of human rights. The cases of granting amnesty to Hasto Kristiyanto and abolition to Thomas Trikasih Lembong show a gap between the normative basis of positive law and the need for equitable reconciliation. This study aims to analyze the concepts of amnesty and abolition not only as political products, but also as legal instruments that have moral and religious legitimacy. The method used is normative legal research with a legislative, conceptual, historical, and theological approach, supported by primary legal sources, secondary literature, and authoritative references to Islamic jurisprudence. The results of the study show that, conceptually, amnesty and abolition not only serve to ease political conflict, but also have relevance to Islamic legal values. Amnesty can be interpreted as a reflection of the principle of rahmah (mercy) and the restoration of substantive justice through forgiveness and reconciliation, while abolition is in line with the principle of daf‘ al-mafsadah (prevention of harm) as an effort to maintain social stability and national unity. The common ground between the two legal frameworks is that they both view amnesty and abolition not merely as political products, but also as means of achieving justice and national reconciliation. Amnesty and abolition in the perspective of Islamic law can also strengthen the legitimacy of Indonesian positive law while providing a more comprehensive legal protection framework. This study offers an integration of Islamic legal values with positive law in the context of transitional justice, thereby enriching the scientific discourse on the relationship between law, politics, and religion in conflict resolution and national reconciliation in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study investigates the determinants of AI adoption among Islamic Religious Education teachers within the 21st-century learning paradigm. Grounded in the TPB, it examines how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control shape teachers’ intentions and actual behaviors regarding AI integration. A quantitative survey was conducted via online questionnaires distributed to 150 islamic religious education teachers in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 3 for PLS-SEM. Results indicate that perceived behavioral control was the most significant predictor, strongly influencing intention with coefficient = 0.586, p <0.001 and behavior with coefficient = 0.300, p = 0.021. Subjective norms also significantly affected intention with coefficient = 0.278, p = 0.001. Conversely, attitudes had no direct impact on intention (p = 0.681) but significantly predicted behavior with coefficient = 0.432, p <0.001. The model demonstrated strong explanatory power. Accounting for 65.8% of intention variance and 78.9% of behavior variance, affirming TPB’s efficacy in understanding technology adoption among Islamic religious education teachers. These findings underscore the critical role of teachers’ self-efficacy and social influence in AI adoption. Practical interventions, such as hands-on training and fostering supportive environments, are essential for successful integration. Future research could explore mediating variables or qualitative approaches to deepen understanding of barriers and facilitators.
