Abstract

This study aims to investigate the principal's strategy in developing pesantren-based educational institutions, with a focus on MTs Nurul Qur'an Patokan-Kraksaan. In the dynamics of modern education, the role of school principals is very important in directing the development of educational institutions, especially in the pesantren environment. However, in-depth research on the strategies implemented by school principals in the context of pesantren education is still limited. A descriptive qualitative approach is used, by collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using data triangulation to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the principal's strategy in developing Islamic boarding schools. The findings of the study show that the characteristics of school principals, such as discipline, clear vision, democratic approach, and ability to manage resources, play a key role in the development of Islamic boarding school educational institutions. School principals who meet these characteristics are able to lead effectively, strengthen the identity of pesantren through the integration of religious teachings with modern curriculum, and utilize information technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning. In addition, resource management and the development of partnerships with local communities are also important aspects that school principals strive for to ensure the sustainability and growth of Islamic boarding school educational institutions.

Abstract

Abstract. The attention of the Indonesian state towards children and the handling of children's problems is indeed very clear. This can be seen in the constitutional basis as stated in the 1945 Constitution. Then other regulations were born as a form of concern for children. Among them; Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection, which emphasizes the need for increased criminal sanctions and fines for perpetrators of crimes against children, especially sexual crimes, which aim to provide a deterrent effect, as well as encourage concrete steps to restore the physical, psychological and social health of children. To compensate for the suffering caused by sexual violence, the government has issued a policy for children who are victims of sexual violence as regulated in Government Regulation Number 43 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Restitution for Children Who Are Victims of Criminal Acts. In addition, more specifically through the Regulation of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Number 1 of 2010 concerning Minimum Service Standards for Integrated Services for Women and Children Victims of Violence, which states that local governments are responsible for providing services and facilities for women and children who are victims of violence. As a manifestation of this regulation, each region has the authority and responsibility to provide facilities and services for victims of sexual violence. Sexual violence that occurs in Cirebon City, West Java is currently very horrific, according to the National Commission for Child Protection, Cirebon City is now in an emergency for sexual crimes against children. With the series and high number of sexual crimes in the Cirebon area, it is not an exaggeration if Cirebon is included in the category of emergency for sexual crimes against children after Bekasi and Tangerang.

Abstract

Abstract

The decline in fishermen’s income has continued to worsen, especially income from shrimp. The Mahakam Delta where they work has experienced damage, particularly its mangrove forests. The community service activity in Muara Kembang Village aims to raise awareness about the importance of mangrove forests. The Wanamina Sejahtera Forest Farmers Group is aware that the decline in shrimp catches is caused by damage to mangrove forests in fish and shrimp catch locations in their area. This has been brought about by increasing exploitation, weak law enforcement, and a lack of public knowledge about the role of the mangrove ecosystem. Community service activities to preserve mangrove forests have received an enthusiastic response, marked by productive and responsive discussions. The Wanamina Sejahtera Forest Farmers Group is able to become an agent of change and encourage the community to plant and preserve mangrove forests

Abstract

Forklift operation in industrial and warehousing environments often exposes operators to frequent transitions between areas with contrasting light intensities. These abrupt changes in ambient brightness, particularly when moving between indoor and outdoor spaces, can impose significant cognitive demands on operators. This study investigates the impact of fluctuating environmental light conditions on the mental workload experienced by forklift operators and its potential implications for their performance, safety, and well-being. This study uses an experimental design using a driving simulator where respondents are given different light intensities to complete the designed tasks.  The findings reveal that sudden light fluctuations can temporarily impair visual acuity, depth perception, and contrast sensitivity, necessitating increased cognitive effort to maintain situational awareness, evaluate potential hazards, and navigate safely. Where the respondent's cognitive load was measured using the NASA-TLX questionnaire.  Furthermore, excessive brightness or glare can cause eye strain, fatigue, and discomfort, exacerbating mental workload. Elevated mental workload due to changing light conditions was found to be associated with diminished situational awareness, impaired decision-making abilities, decreased reaction times, and increased accident risks. Sustained cognitive effort to compensate for visual challenges also contributed to mental fatigue, potentially reducing productivity and operational efficiency. This study highlights the need for appropriate lighting designl modifications to mitigate the mental workload imposed by fluctuating light conditions in forklift operations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of product and service quality on customer loyalty at CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi in Bandar Lampung. Latar belakang penelitian ini was based on the importance of maintaining customer loyalty in a robust business environment. Good product quality and customer service that is always helpful are the two main factors that encourage customers to continuously buy products and recommend businesses to others. The research methodology that is being used is a quantitative approach using survey data. Data is collected through questionnaires given to 100 CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi respondents. Analisis data dilakukan dengan using regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh simultan dan parsial antara variabel independen (kualitas product dan kualitas pelayanan) terhadap variabel dependen (loyalitas pelanggan). The study's findings indicate that product and service quality simultaneously have a significant impact on customer loyalty. For example, when it comes to fostering customer loyalty, product quality has a greater impact than service quality. This highlights how important it is for businesses to continuously monitor and improve their product quality while providing customers with first-rate service. Therefore, it is hoped that CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi will be able to be used as a guide in developing strategies to improve product quality and customer loyalty in a comprehensive manner.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into and describe the process of internalizing the values of Religious Education in enhancing tolerance among religious communities at SMPN 2 Sukasada. Using a qualitative approach, this study employs a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. SMPN 2 Sukasada, Bali, was chosen as the research location, and the informants included the School Principal, Hindu Religious Education Teachers, and Islamic Religious Education Teachers. The process of internalizing the values of Religious Education is carried out through the teachers' role modeling, instilling a coexistence attitude, promoting good morals, and supporting activities such as flag ceremonies and religious celebrations. The research findings indicate that the internalization process of Religious Education values at SMPN 2 Sukasada reaches the stage of value transactions, where teachers engage in exemplification, habituation, and motivation to instill a tolerant attitude. Despite internalization efforts, challenges arise from spiritual teachers outside the school who use intolerant language, potentially leading to conflicts of intolerance. Students' understanding of culture is also limited, as seen in misunderstandings about traditional Balinese attire, which is considered specific to Hindus during prayer. Thus, this research emphasizes the importance of the internalization process of Religious Education values in the context of religious tolerance in schools, while also highlighting the need for a better understanding of culture and religious teachings as a preventive measure against intolerance. The school's Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Program (P5) is also presented as an alternative to connect Religious Education with social and cultural life in Bali.

Abstract

In  this  study,  the  researchers  wanted  to  discuss  how  sustainable improvements  were  made  by  guardians  in  the  development  of  the  nursery. Researchers  use  a  qualitative  method  that  aims  to  explain  the  truth  of  a phenomenon that has the aim of obtaining objective data. Based on the results of  the  research,  it  can  be  concluded  that  in  carrying  out  continuous improvement with the guardian in the development of the foster care there are several steps that have been applied among them: (a) to know closer with the centurion,  to  engage  in  close  proximity  with  the  clergyman  as  a  guardian requires  challenges  that  must  be  overcome  on  its  own.  Understanding  the unique personality of each centri is pleasant when we are able to communicate with  the  heart.  (b)  Loving  the  mother-in-law,  the  guardian  must  provide emotional support as  a  key aspect. Listening attentively to their stories,  their excitement, or their  concerns is a first step in building a strong bond. One of the  things  to  pay  attention  to  is  the  fulfilment  of  basic  needs,  such  as  food, shelter,  and  clothing.  The  guardian  should  also  ensure  that  the  guardian  has adequate access to  educational facilities and learning facilities.
