The purpose ofthisstudyis to determine work motivation affects employee performance at PT Kereta ApiIndonesia (Persero) UPT. Balai Yasa Pulubrayan Medan. To find out the work environment and employee performance affect employees at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) UPT. Balai Yasa Pulubrayan Medan. The population in this study were 91 people, the sample was 91 people. The data collection method used is a questionnaire using validity and reliability measuring instruments to measure validity and reliability, then using data analysis methods using multiple regression analysis which is used to determine the effect between the independent variables and the dependent variable simultaneously and individually, using hypothesis testing in the form of t-test which is used to determine the extent to which the independent variables used individually are able to explain the dependent variable and the F-test is used to determine the extent to which the independent variables used simultaneously are able to explain the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination which measures how far the model's ability to explain the variation inthe dependent variable. Data analysis in this study used the help of IBM SPSS version 25. Personally (t-test) Work Motivation hasa positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Kereta ApiIndonesia (Persero) UPT. Balai Yasa Pulubrayan Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of human resource development on teacher performance at Al-Washliyah Amplas college, to determine and analyze the effect of competence on teacher performance at Al-Washliyah Amplas college, to determine and analyze the effect of human resource development and competence on teacher performance at Al-Washliyah Amplas college. The population in this study were all teachers who worked at the Al-Washliyah Amplas college, totaling 38 teachers and the sampling was done by total sampling so that 38 respondents were sampled. Based on the results of the study it is known that there is a significant influence between human resource development and competence on teacher performance, there is a positive influence of human resource development variables and competence on teacher performance. Human resource development and competence on teacher performance together (multiple) there is positive and significant influence on Teacher performance

This study aimed to investigate the impact of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach on enhancing descriptive writing skills among tenth-grade students in the context of SMAN 1 Baros. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research adopted a pre-experimental design, specifically the Static Group Comparison Design. The sample comprised classes selected through cluster random sampling techniques, each with 30 students. The experimental group received instruction using the PjBL model, whereas the control class was taught through conventional instructional methods. Data were collected using a descriptive writing test validated by certified English teachers and assessed for internal consistency using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. Descriptive statistical results showed that the experimental group achieved higher post-test scores (M = 77.17; SD = 3.49) than the control group (M = 65.97; SD = 3.01). Tests of normality and homogeneity confirmed that the dataset met the assumptions necessary for parametric statistical analysis. Furthermore, an Independent Samples T-Test revealed a meaningful statistical distinction between the experimental and control groups (t = 13.298; p < 0.001), with a mean score difference of 11.20 points. These findings highlight the significant and positive effect of the PjBL model in improving students’ proficiency in writing descriptive texts and underscore its superiority over traditional teaching approaches in this educational setting.

Earth science is one of the science fields competed in the National Science Olympiad (OSN) for Senior High Schools (SMA). However, not all schools provide earth science as a separate subject, so students often face difficulties in learning complex and multidisciplinary materials. This community service activity was carried out to train students to face the selection of OSN at the district/city level through structured coaching and field practicums in strengthening student competency in the field of earth science. The method of implementing the activity includes 3 stages, namely the preparation and coordination stage, implementation of activities, evaluation, and follow-up. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in student competency in the field of earth science, on average posttest scores in the range (65-80) compared to the pretest (25-40) on each topic of material, which was also reinforced by the results of the Quizizz application-based practice questions. In the school-level selection, five students were successfully selected to continue to the district-level OSN, and one of them achieved an achievement at that level. Overall, this community service activity has not only succeeded in improving students' academic readiness to face OSN but also strengthened the culture of scientific learning, observation skills, and collaboration between universities and schools to produce a superior young generation in the field of earth sciences.

Background and aim. Single kick skill is one of the fundamental techniques in pencak silat that requires optimal physical condition and motor ability. Aerobic endurance supports athletes in maintaining performance during matches, while movement coordination plays a crucial role in executing accurate and effective kicking techniques. This study aimed to determine the relationship between aerobic endurance and movement coordination with single kick skills in young Indonesian martial arts (SMI) athletes in Pariaman City.Methods. This research employed a correlational design. The population consisted of 20 SMI athletes (17 males and 3 females) in Pariaman City. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, involving 17 male athletes. Aerobic endurance was measured using the bleep test, movement coordination was assessed using the soccer wall volley test, and single kick skills were evaluated through a performance test assessed by judges. Data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation with a significance level of α = 0.05.Results. The findings revealed: (1) a significant relationship between aerobic endurance and single kick skills (t_count = 2.29 > t_table = 1.75); (2) a significant relationship between movement coordination and single kick skills (t_count = 2.48 > t_table = 1.75); and (3) a significant simultaneous relationship between aerobic endurance and movement coordination with single kick skills (F_count = 8.23 > F_table = 3.74).Conclusions. Aerobic endurance and movement coordination are significantly related to single kick skills, both partially and simultaneously. Improving these physical and motor components may contribute to better single kick performance in pencak silat athletes.

The Shari'a Regional Regulation legitimizes the implementation of Islamic cultural values and Minangkabau culture in West Sumatra. Knowledge of the reality of regional regulation practice is important for harmonizing social and state life in a pluralistic society. This research aims to explain the relationship between the emergence of the Sharia Regional Regulation in West Sumatra and its implementation in city districts in West Sumatra. This research used historical methods, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The final results of the research reveal the positive phenomenon of the implementation of Shari'a regulations in West Sumatra. The appearance of school children they dressed as Muslim. Before studying, students were accustomed to praying and memorizing several verses in the Al-Qur'an, attending a Ramadhan Islamic boarding school during the holy month of Ramadhan, and participating in Youth Wirid activities after Ramadhan. State Civil Servants (ASN) wore Muslim clothing during official hours. In certain areas, being able to read the Al-Qur’an was a condition for getting married. Regional regulations with Islamic nuances also showed the political content of the figures, social organizations and parties, legislative members (DPRD), and power politics. This study contributes to the importance of awareness and tolerance in social practices between religious communities in various community organizations and government agencies.

This study aimed to develop and validate an SRL questionnaire for undergraduate EFL students using Research and Development (R&D) approach with a simplified 3D model (define, design, and develop). The instrument assesses three key dimensions of SRL based on Zimmerman's theoretical framework: cognitive, motivational, and behavioral. Content validity was established through expert review, followed by a pilot study with 30 students. Pearson product-moment correlation confirmed item validity, all items exceeded r= 0.361 (p<0.05). Furthermore, the reliability analysis, using Cronbach's alpha, yielded a coefficient of 0.964, surpassing the acceptable threshold of 0.700. These findings collectively indicate that the developed SRL questionnaire possesses strong psychometric properties, making it valid and reliable instrument for measuring self-regulated learning among EFL students. This instrument enables educators to identify student strengths and weaknesses, informing targeted interventions and promoting autonomous learning practices among EFL students.

Tidak banyak para teknisi menggunakan transmisi putaran pada mesin dari satu poros ke poros yang lain memperhitungkan adanya slip antara poros dengan transmisi, sehingga putaran ouput poros yang diharapkan tidak tercapai. Seperti yang ditunjukkan pada transmisi pulley dan v-belt, pada pulley dan v-belt bahwa putaran output yang disampaikan pada pulley akan terjadi penurunan nilai putaran beberapa persen karena timbul slip antara belt dengan pulley. Penurunan nilai putaran tersebut akan bertambah dengan bertambahnya massa putaran yang dibawa. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan motor Hp dan putara 1410 rpm, pulley dan v-belt dengan koefisien gesk sebesar = 0,3. Secara analisa teoritis dengan memilih faktor kritis 1,056 maka nilai putaran tersebut akan berubah sebesar , dengan rasio putaran pulley sebesar i = 2,953216. Ketika dilakukan pengujian dengan beban massa 1,707 kg maka putaran poros motor diperoleh sebesar 1489 rpm, dengan menggunakan rasio putaran maka putaran pulley output sebesar 504,2 rpm, tetapi pada pengukuran putaran pulley sebesar 497,35 rpm, sehingga menimbulkan selisih sebesar 6,9 rpm atau mengalami slip sebesar 1,39 %, dan nilai ini akan terus bertambah dengan bertambahnya beban massa putar yang dibawa. Berdasar analisa empiris besarnya slip dengan menggunakan program excel, maka didapatlah persamaan hubungan persentase slip dengan perubahan massa yang dipakai seperti; .

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik Umpan Balik Peer terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa dalam teks prosedur. Peneliti menggunakan desain eksperimen sejati dengan sampel acak. Data diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMPN 1 Ciruas dan sampel penelitian ini diambil dari dua kelas yang terdiri dari 34 siswa untuk setiap kelas. Kedua kelas tersebut dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Untuk menganalisis validitas dan reliabilitas tes, peneliti menggunakan validitas konten dan reliabilitas antar penilai. Berdasarkan uji analisis menunjukkan bahwa hasilnya valid dan reliabel. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh menggunakan teknik Peer Feedback, data dari pre-test dan post-test dianalisis dengan menggunakan independent t-test. Berdasarkan hasil, ditemukan bahwa atau ≥ 2,00 artinya hipotesis alternatif diterima dan hipotesis nol ditolak. This study analyses the changing working conditions and socio-economic impacts on female labourers at the PT Pecconina Baru tea plantation between 1988 and 2021. Employing historical methodologyâ€”including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiographyâ€”the study examines the shift in womenâ€™s roles from the domestic sphere to the public domain as plantation workers. The findings reveal that, initially, female labourers worked as informal daily workers with low wages and no social security. Over time, they gained access to facilities such as transportation and childrenâ€™s education. Although wages remained limited, this employment provided economic stability and the opportunity to contribute to household income. Some workers experienced upward social mobility through job promotions, their childrenâ€™s educational advancement, and improvements in household assets. The study highlights that women's labour in the plantation sector represents not only exploitation but also opportunities for economic empowerment. In certain contexts, women demonstrated their capacity to adapt and improve their well-being through persistence and active participation in the available labour system. The academic contribution of this research lies in mapping the intersection of gender, labour, and social mobility within the agrarian sector. The findings challenge the singular narrative of female powerlessness in plantation work and underscore the importance of policies that promote protection, fair wages, and access to social services for female labourers. Thus, this study offers a new perspective on the dynamics of women's labour and structural transformation in rural economies.
