Abstract

Both Daar El Qolam 2 and La Tansa Mashiro are Islamic Educational Institution that has a special characteristic. In the implementation of Kyai’s parenting, there are many things that determine the formation of the character of the santri. Therefore, The Institution efforted some ways to overcome an ideal of parenting style to develop students’s character. This research attempts investigation on; 1) Objective of Kyai’s parenting style, 2) Programme of Kyai’s parenting, 3) Implementation of Kyai’s parenting, 4) Evaluation of Kyai’s parenting, 5) Advantage and disadvantage of Kyai’s parenting, 6) The impact of Kyai’s parenting. The reseach design uses a theory of Educator or teacher, parenting style, and implementation of Kyai to build character. The research employes a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis. Collecting data through observation, interview and documentation study. The results of research showed; 1) the kyai's parenting style in the Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic boarding school and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school is classified as good in terms of the system aspect, management well-structured, as well as the rules and regulations in the boarding school. In the policy aspect, the pattern of parenting is still dominant depending on the existence of kyai. 2) The kyai parenting program at Daarel Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is to build characters who master Islamic religious knowledge, master Arabic and English, understand information technology, extracurricular activities, santri’s organization, study the ancient yellow book, study general material, learning to be a prayer priest. Learning public speaking in Indonesian, Arabic, and English. 3) Implementation of the character development program for students at the Daar el Qolam and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding schools went well in the aspects of mastering Islamic religious knowledge, mastering Arabic and English, mastering technology and information, extracurricular programs, yellow book studies, speeches in Arabic, English, and Indonesian. 4) Evaluation of the kyai's parenting style at the Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School was very good. This has been proven by the form of reports every day, weekly, and monthly. 5) The advantage factor at Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School are in human resources, plus the teachers in both Islamic boarding schools live in the same area or dormitory. The disadvantage factor from the human resource element is sometimes the teachers do not carry out the supervision or guidance process optimally. 6) The kyai’s parenting style of the Daarel Qolam Islamic boarding school has a positive impact on character building. Meanwhile, The kyai’s parenting style of La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school has a positive impact on character building.

Abstract

Kyai Parenting Patterns in Building Character Daar El Qolam 2 Tangerang and La Tansa Mashiro Lebak. Both Daar El Qolam 2 and La Tansa Mashiro are Islamic Education Institutions with special characteristics. In implementing the kyai's upbringing, many things determine the formation of the character of the santri. Therefore, institutions try several ways to overcome ideal parenting to develop student character. This research tries to investigate; 1) Purpose of Kyai Parenting, 2) Kyai Parenting Program, 3) Implementation of Kyai Parenting, 4) Evaluation of Kyai Parenting, 5) Strengths and Weaknesses of Kyai Parenting, 6) Impact of Kyai Parenting. Educator or teacher theory, parenting style, and implementation of Kyai to build character. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data analysis. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show; 1) the upbringing of the kyai at the Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic boarding school and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school is classified as good in terms of the system aspect, well-structured management, and the rules that exist in the Islamic boarding school 2) The kyai parenting program at Daarel Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is to build character who masters various sciences 3) The implementation of the character development program for students at Daar el Qolam and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding Schools is going well in the aspect of mastering various sciences 4) Evaluation of kyai parenting patterns at Islamic Boarding Schools Qolam 2 and Islamic Boarding School La Tansa Mashiro is very good 5) The superiority factor at Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School is in human resources, plus the teachers at both Islamic boarding schools live in the same environment or dormitory 6) The upbringing of the kyai of Daarel Qolam Islamic boarding school has an impact positive for character building.

Abstract

One of the factors that play an important role in improving the quality of education isstrategic management. The purpose of this research is to find out, examine, analyse, and understand in depth about the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools, factors inhibiting the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools; and solutions to obstacles to the implementation of management functions in realising the goals of Islamic boarding schools Nurul Huda and At-Thaariq Garut. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-holistic method and case study analysis that seeks to analyse the use of supporting tools for management practices. Based on the research results, Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda and Pondok Pesantren At-Thaariq Garut have implemented strategic management which includes planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating, involving all divisions to achieve educational goals. However, obstacles such as lack of synergy, discipline, understanding of tasks, and conflict of orders between leaders still hinder the optimal implementation of strategies. In conclusion, to achieve better results, pesantren need to improve the analysis of HR needs, strengthen the discipline system, and conduct consistent evaluations. A collaborative and holistic approach in strategic management will help pesantren achieve their vision, mission, and expected education quality.

Abstract

This research reviews the concept of evaluation implementation as a solution to address student learning issues The integrated methods in this study include literature review, and then data collection through gathering and analyzing various relevant literature such as articles, books, and related materials The data is analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques, and the results are interpreted scientifically and rationally The findings of this research indicate that evaluation is an integral part of the learning process, providing a positive impact in addressing student learning issues and improv the quality of the process learning and outcomes with enhancement Continuous evaluation is carried out by identifying the characteristics of learning problems comprehensively, from the aspects and components of learning, namely students, educators, resources, and learning environments Evaluation can be used as a reflection of learning, which can then serve as a guide for educators in taking action towards teaching processes by considering the suitability and success of a learning experience

Abstract

This study analyses the proportion of multiple-choice questions in the categories of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) in the Al-Qur'an Hadith MI Class I textbook published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. Using qualitative methods through document study and Milles and Huberman analysis, this study found that 96% of the questions were classified as LOTS (L1/C1, L1/C2, L2/C3), while HOTS was only 4%. This finding shows that the book has not met the 21st century learning standards that emphasize the importance of HOTS. This result confirms that there is a need for curriculum revision and improvement of question quality to be more in line with modern learning standards.

Abstract

Kurikulum PAI di berbagai jenjang pendidikan sering kali dikritik karena kurang menekankan pada aspek yang relevan dengan kehidupan kontemporer. Pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar dan Menengah, kurikulum lebih fokus pada hafalan materi-materi keagamaan dan ritual, sementara kurang menekankan pada pemahaman nilai-nilai universal Islam seperti toleransi, etika sosial, dan isu-isu global. Di Perguruan Tinggi, PAI terkadang dianggap terlalu teoretis dan kurang aplikatif dalam menghadapi problematika kehidupan mahasiswa di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sorotan dan kritik Pengelolaan Pembelajaran PAI di Sekolah dan Perguruan Tinggi beserta Alternatif solusinya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk kajian pustaka. Sorotan dan kritik terhadap pengelolaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam ialah mengacu pada pendekatan pembelajaran yang masih menerapkan pendidikan konvensional dimana pembelajaran masih klasikal, kurangnya kemajuan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik yang rendah. Alternatif solusi yang ditawarkan adalah melalui penerapan CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dalam pembelajaran PAI, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI dan peningkatan kompetensi Guru PAI.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kompleksitas permasalahan moral yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Indonesia saat ini, termasuk maraknya korupsi, tawuran antar pelajar, penyalahgunaan narkoba, dan perilaku tidak terpuji lainnya. Krisis moral ini menunjukkan urgensi untuk mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter sebagai solusi yang efektif. Pendidikan karakter bertujuan membangun karakter bangsa yang bermoral, berakhlak mulia, dan berbudi pekerti luhur. Islam, sebagai sumber nilai-nilai luhur, memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pendidikan karakter. Nilai-nilai seperti iman, taqwa, ihsan, kejujuran, adil, kasih sayang, dan tanggung jawab tidak hanya membimbing individu untuk berperilaku baik, tetapi juga untuk membentuk masyarakat yang baik dan tertib. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya etika dalam Islam sebagai fondasi moralitas agama yang mengarahkan manusia untuk saling berbuat baik dalam membangun masyarakat yang harmonis. Dengan mengacu pada ajaran Islam, pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai ini diharapkan dapat mencetak generasi muda yang cerdas, beriman, dan berakhlak mulia, sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Penelitian tentang nilai-nilai etika dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam menjadi fokus dalam artikel ini, dengan harapan dapat menghasilkan model pendidikan yang efektif dan aplikatif sesuai konteks Indonesia saat ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi persepsi guru terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah dalam rangka penjaminan mutu pembelajaran. Selain itu, penelitian ini, akan mengekplorasi bagaimana cara supervisi yang sebaiknya dilakukan dan mengidentifikasi komponen-komponen yang disupervisi dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTsN 6 Cianjur. Responden adalah seorang guru dan wakil kepala bidang kurikulum dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan analisis dokumen. Kemudian analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display (penampilan data), dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi guru adalah positif terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Sedangkan cara pelaksanaan supervisi yang diinginkan oleh guru adalah supervisi yang terencana, sistematis, objektif, dan berkelanjutan dengan memberikan feedback dan tindak lanjut dalam rangka memotivasi guru untuk terus mengembangkan kompetensinya dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Selain itu, guru tidak mengharapkan supervisi yang hanya memenuhi kewajiban kepala sebagai supervisor dan mencari kesalahan guru, akan tetapi supervisi yang konstruktif dan kooperatif dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran untuk menggapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Komponen-komponen yang disupervisi oleh kepala madrasah dalam pembelajaran adalah supervisi administrasi pembelajaran dan proses pembelajaran yang meliputi kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan penutup.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 telah tiba dalam sejarah kemajuan global. Perkembangan modern ditandai dengan kemajuan komunikasi dan teknologi. Setiap elemen kehidupan terdampak dengan munculnya era revolusi industri 4.0, tanpa terkecuali masalah karakter dan pendidikan. Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang pentingnya penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam menghadapi era revolusi industri 4.0. Oleh karena itu artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, karena penelitiannya berkaitan dengan penelusuran terhadap teori-teori yang ada dalam referensi. Dari hasil pembahasan bahwa, degradasi moral tengan menjadi persoalan akibat adanya revolusi industri 4.0. Perkembangan revolusi industri ini ditandai oleh adanya kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sehingga manusia ataupun masyarakat sangat bergantung pada peran kemajuan tersebut.
