Abstract

Abstract

The instillation of values and character is one of the efforts in forming a civilized, dignified, and high-integrity society. In the context of civilization development, these values are not only instilled through formal education, but also through various integrated social, cultural, and political channels. This study aims to examine in depth various methods of instilling values applied in society through government institutions, social institutions, public spaces, and mass media from the perspective of Islamic Education. This approach was chosen to critically examine the relevance and contribution of Islamic values in shaping the social character of modern society. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach through library research, by reviewing various relevant literature from both classical and contemporary sources. The results of the study indicate that the methods of role models, habituation, providing advice (mau'idzah), and constructive dialogue have proven effective in shaping community character when implemented consistently, collectively, and sustainably by formal and non-formal institutions. The instillation of values will be more meaningful when integrated holistically into the national education system and social development programs. This study recommends the importance of synergy between the government, religious leaders, educators, and the mass media in designing strategies for instilling values that are contextual, adaptive, and based on the principles of Islam rahmatan lil 'alamin in order to create a strong and inclusive civil society

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how human resource well-being is managed at Kuttab Fatih Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research employed in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis to gain comprehensive insights. Findings indicate that the well-being program implemented at Kuttab Fatih encompasses psychological, social, spiritual, and financial dimensions. The policies introduced within this framework seek to establish balance between professional responsibilities, personal life, religious guidance, and economic support. Such integration demonstrates the program’s ability to enhance teacher motivation, strengthen loyalty, and improve overall productivity, thereby reflecting its effectiveness. The evidence underscores the critical role of human resource well-being in advancing both staff performance and teacher commitment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Kuttab Fatih continue to refine its well-being management strategies, particularly by acknowledging external factors that may influence financial sustainability and by ensuring alignment with well-being models rooted in Islamic principles. Moreover, the study suggests that other Islamic-based educational institutions could adopt this approach as a reference when formulating comprehensive and culturally appropriate well-being policies designed to foster motivation, engagement, and professional growth among educators and staff members. Other Islamic educational institutions should refer to this study as a guide while creating thorough well-being policies.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as traditional Islamic educational institutions have a strategic role in shaping the character of the young generation through the instillation of religious values, with the kiai as a central figure who plays a role as an educator and charismatic spiritual leader who influences the lives of students and the surrounding community. However, during the development of the era and the influence of modernization, the role of charismatic kiai faces new challenges that require adjustments in relevant leadership methods. Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of developing teacher competency through the principal's transformational leadership. As technology develops and information becomes easily accessible to students, enabling them to learn anything and know anything without the help of a teacher, it is unimaginable that teachers will not develop their competencies. Principal leadership plays a vital role in developing teacher competency. This research was conducted at Al-Amanah Elementary School, Bandung Regency because the Principal applies a transformational leadership style, which is a superior and quality school. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method, namely presenting the results of analysis of the types of teacher competency development carried out by the Principal so that they effectively achieve the school's vision and mission. The study results concluded that the transformational leadership characteristics of the Al-Amanah Islamic Elementary School Principal are: 1) As a role model for teachers in carrying out their functions, roles, and responsibilities. 2) Motivating the development of teacher competency through the superior programs provided. 3) Communicative and collaborative in protecting teachers. 4) As a coach who can develop individuals and groups. Abstract

Basically, humans in their life journey always coexist with the educational process, each phase of their development period has its own characteristics and is not the same. So it requires different teaching methods in each phase. Psychology in education helps analyze these developments, so that they can comply with educational goals in order to achieve scientific targets according to their age. Not only that, teachers also find it difficult to determine the level and criteria for achieving assessments. To make it, teachers must create derived criteria from the material taught based on goals and expectations. Apart from guiding the goals and expectations of teaching materials, teachers also need to adapt to the various abilities of students so that the existing criteria are appropriate to the circumstances. This analysis stage is still in the early stages and of course requires a lot of time.

Abstract

An effective learning environment is a context where students can maximize their potential. In this environment, key elements such as interaction between teachers and students, the appropriate use of technology, supportive space design, and relevant curriculum play crucial roles. Skilled teachers who support active learning, motivate students, and build positive relationships can create an environment that fosters both intellectual and emotional growth. The use of technology is a significant component in modern learning environments. Proper integration of technology can enhance students' access to information, provide variation in teaching methods, and facilitate personalized and adaptive learning. Well-designed learning spaces also play a pivotal role. Ergonomic space design, utilization of open areas for collaboration, and provision of adequate resources can create an atmosphere that supports exploration and creativity. Moreover, a relevant curriculum aligned with current needs is also a key factor. A curriculum that blends theory with practical applications, considers the latest developments, and facilitates critical problem-solving can encourage meaningful learning. Overall, an effective learning environment is about creating a stimulating atmosphere that fosters curiosity, supports collaboration, and encourages critical thinking. When all these components are integrated effectively, students can reach their optimal potential in a nurturing and enjoyable learning environment.
