Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the concept of multicultural education in efforts to prevent religious conflicts in Indonesia. The approach taken is library research, where the study is conducted by collecting data or scientific writings that are literary in nature. The data collection method in this research is derived from the sources used, meaning that the data sources are the subjects from which the information is obtained. The results of the discussion mentioned that efforts to prevent religious conflict in Indonesia, first, to unite differences and attitudes. Second, building the structure of religious understanding. Third, religious development policy resolution. Fourth, resolution of social conflict / violence expectation expectations. With this concept, it is expected to increase their awareness so that they always behave humanist, pluralist, and democratic.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in MAN 1 Ciamis and SMA Plus Darussalam Ciamis, two institutions integrated with pesantren education under the auspices of the Darussalam Ciamis Islamic Boarding School. The research method used a qualitative approach with structured interview techniques to the principal, curriculum vice-secretary, PAI teachers, and related school parties. Direct observation was conducted with students to get an overview of their perceptions of PAI learning. The results showed that the integration of formal education and pesantren in MAN 1 Ciamis and SMA Plus Darussalam Ciamis created a holistic and value-oriented learning environment. Students respond positively to this approach, although faced with the challenge of adjusting to two different educational patterns. PAI teaching in the classroom is well received by students, while pesantren activities provide an additional dimension in the understanding of Islamic values. The challenges identified involve students' adjustment difficulties, lack of resources, and managerial constraints. Therefore, solutions were proposed through improved curriculum management, adequate resource allocation, and training for teachers. In conclusion, the integration between formal education and Islamic boarding schools in PAI learning has great potential to shape a generation that has a deep understanding of Islam, a strong character, and a balance between academic knowledge and religious practice. With the full support of schools, boarding schools, and the government, efforts can continue to be made to improve the effectiveness of PAI learning in an educational environment integrated with Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Character education in the family is the main foundation in the formation of ethical and moral individuals. This research aims to explore the concept of character education based on an Al-Quran perspective in the family environment. The method used is library research, by collecting data from various relevant primary and secondary literature sources. The research results show that family character education has main components, namely objectives, programs, processes and evaluation. Based on the Koran, the goals of character education include protecting the family from the torment of hell, forming noble morals, and creating individuals who are strong spiritually, socially and professionally. Educational programs include example, habituation, advice, motivation and punishment. The educational process relies on the curriculum and applicable methods such as example and habituation. Evaluation is carried out through continuous observation of children's performance. This research confirms that the family has a vital role in forming a generation with strong character, in line with the guidance of the Koran, in order to create a society with noble morals. This research also identifies stages of character education starting from pre-marriage to childhood and adolescence, with an approach based on Islamic values, such as prayer, moral education and example.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukkan beragam model penanaman karakter yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan (pesantren, madrasah, dan sekolah) untuk merespons kebutuhan mendesak akan pemenuhan kapasitas moral dan etika di tengah kompleksitas tantangan sosial modern. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka sebagai sumber data utama, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi urgensi penerapan model penanaman karakter, berbagai model yang tersedia, serta tantangan dan inovasi yang dapat dilakukan. Model yang diusulkan meliputi Model Keteladanan, Model Pembiasaan, Model Pengajaran, Model Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler, dan lainnya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas model-model ini dalam meningkatkan kapasitas moral siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan model penanaman karakter yang tepat sangat penting untuk menghadapi kompleksitas tantangan sosial kontemporer.

Abstract

Kemajuan dan perkembangan teknologi telah membawa dampak yang sangat besar mempengaruhi norma dan sistem nilai masyarakat, perilaku manusia, organisasi, struktur keluarga, mobilitas masyarakat, pemerintahan kebijakan, dan sebagainya. Era kini mempunyai kelemahan untuk memahami dan menghargai nilai-nilai ethical dan ajaran agama yang menyebabkan mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan yang baik saat dikonsumsi, mengadopsi, atau menyerap asing budaya. Akibatnya mereka lebih cenderung pada pilihan nilai yang buruk. Mereka telah kehilangan ajaran agama dan nilai-nilai moral yang luhur namun sebenarnya telah lama dimiliki oleh bangsa ini dari kemerosotan nilai ethical dan agama ditandai dengan terjadinya krisis multidimensi yang membelit bangsa dewasa ini tidak terlepas dari kelalaian pendidikan nasional selama ini kurang memperhatikan pembentukan karakter bangsa. Pendidikan karakter adalah kunci untuk perbaikan sosial dan kemajuan peradaban yang menjunjung tinggi integritas dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan mencapai keseimbangan antara pengetahuan dan moralitas. Karakter pendidikan dapat dilakukan melalui pendidikan agama yang diterapkan di manapun kehidupan akademik. Pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran proses harus dilakukan pada semua tahap pembelajaran dari tahap perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi belajar. Guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam hal ini di kerjasama dengan guru PKN bertindak sebagai konsultan pembelajaran bagi semua guru mata pelajaran untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter serta nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Membuat sebuah Negara yang berkembang dan maju mesti dimulai dari membentuk karakter yang baik pada sumber daya manusianya (SDM) terutama pada generasi muda sebagai penerus bangsa. Pembentukan ini sangat efektif dimulai dari umur masih muda seperti pada masa sekolah karena waktu itu merupakan masa daya tangkap mereka masih jernih sehingga mudah diterapkan pada mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana membentuk karakter kepemimpinan santri melalui program leadership di Pondok Pesantren Kampung Quran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana membentuk karakter kepemimpinan santri melalui program leadership di Pondok Pesantren Kampung Quran dengan pengambilan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Adapun hasil dari kajian ini yaitu membentuk karakter kepemimpinan santri melalui program leadership yaitu dengan membentuk Life Skill dan Sosial Skill agar nantinya mempunyai keterampilan hidup serta keterampilan social sehingga terbentuk karakter santri yang baik, baik dalam ranah kehidupannya maupun sosialnya. Abstract

Both Daar El Qolam 2 and La Tansa Mashiro are Islamic Educational Institution that has a special characteristic. In the implementation of Kyai’s parenting, there are many things that determine the formation of the character of the santri. Therefore, The Institution efforted some ways to overcome an ideal of parenting style to develop students’s character. This research attempts investigation on; 1) Objective of Kyai’s parenting style, 2) Programme of Kyai’s parenting, 3) Implementation of Kyai’s parenting, 4) Evaluation of Kyai’s parenting, 5) Advantage and disadvantage of Kyai’s parenting, 6) The impact of Kyai’s parenting. The reseach design uses a theory of Educator or teacher, parenting style, and implementation of Kyai to build character. The research employes a descriptive qualitative method with data analysis. Collecting data through observation, interview and documentation study. The results of research showed; 1) the kyai's parenting style in the Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic boarding school and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school is classified as good in terms of the system aspect, management well-structured, as well as the rules and regulations in the boarding school. In the policy aspect, the pattern of parenting is still dominant depending on the existence of kyai. 2) The kyai parenting program at Daarel Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is to build characters who master Islamic religious knowledge, master Arabic and English, understand information technology, extracurricular activities, santri’s organization, study the ancient yellow book, study general material, learning to be a prayer priest. Learning public speaking in Indonesian, Arabic, and English. 3) Implementation of the character development program for students at the Daar el Qolam and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding schools went well in the aspects of mastering Islamic religious knowledge, mastering Arabic and English, mastering technology and information, extracurricular programs, yellow book studies, speeches in Arabic, English, and Indonesian. 4) Evaluation of the kyai's parenting style at the Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School was very good. This has been proven by the form of reports every day, weekly, and monthly. 5) The advantage factor at Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School are in human resources, plus the teachers in both Islamic boarding schools live in the same area or dormitory. The disadvantage factor from the human resource element is sometimes the teachers do not carry out the supervision or guidance process optimally. 6) The kyai’s parenting style of the Daarel Qolam Islamic boarding school has a positive impact on character building. Meanwhile, The kyai’s parenting style of La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school has a positive impact on character building.

Abstract

Kyai Parenting Patterns in Building Character Daar El Qolam 2 Tangerang and La Tansa Mashiro Lebak. Both Daar El Qolam 2 and La Tansa Mashiro are Islamic Education Institutions with special characteristics. In implementing the kyai's upbringing, many things determine the formation of the character of the santri. Therefore, institutions try several ways to overcome ideal parenting to develop student character. This research tries to investigate; 1) Purpose of Kyai Parenting, 2) Kyai Parenting Program, 3) Implementation of Kyai Parenting, 4) Evaluation of Kyai Parenting, 5) Strengths and Weaknesses of Kyai Parenting, 6) Impact of Kyai Parenting. Educator or teacher theory, parenting style, and implementation of Kyai to build character. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data analysis. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research results show; 1) the upbringing of the kyai at the Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic boarding school and the La Tansa Mashiro Islamic boarding school is classified as good in terms of the system aspect, well-structured management, and the rules that exist in the Islamic boarding school 2) The kyai parenting program at Daarel Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Islamic Boarding School is to build character who masters various sciences 3) The implementation of the character development program for students at Daar el Qolam and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding Schools is going well in the aspect of mastering various sciences 4) Evaluation of kyai parenting patterns at Islamic Boarding Schools Qolam 2 and Islamic Boarding School La Tansa Mashiro is very good 5) The superiority factor at Daar el Qolam 2 Islamic Boarding School and La Tansa Mashiro Islamic Boarding School is in human resources, plus the teachers at both Islamic boarding schools live in the same environment or dormitory 6) The upbringing of the kyai of Daarel Qolam Islamic boarding school has an impact positive for character building.

Abstract

One of the factors that play an important role in improving the quality of education isstrategic management. The purpose of this research is to find out, examine, analyse, and understand in depth about the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools, factors inhibiting the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools; and solutions to obstacles to the implementation of management functions in realising the goals of Islamic boarding schools Nurul Huda and At-Thaariq Garut. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-holistic method and case study analysis that seeks to analyse the use of supporting tools for management practices. Based on the research results, Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda and Pondok Pesantren At-Thaariq Garut have implemented strategic management which includes planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating, involving all divisions to achieve educational goals. However, obstacles such as lack of synergy, discipline, understanding of tasks, and conflict of orders between leaders still hinder the optimal implementation of strategies. In conclusion, to achieve better results, pesantren need to improve the analysis of HR needs, strengthen the discipline system, and conduct consistent evaluations. A collaborative and holistic approach in strategic management will help pesantren achieve their vision, mission, and expected education quality.
