Statistics learning at the junior high school level still faces challenges in developing students’ creative thinking skills. Students often struggle to understand fundamental statistical concepts due to conventional instructional practices that provide limited opportunities for in-depth data exploration. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning model on the Creative Self-Efficacy of eighth-grade students at SMPN 11 Jambi City in the topic of statistics. Employing a quantitative approach, this research utilized a true experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. This design was selected to avoid testing effects and to focus on the final learning outcomes. The study involved two sample classes: an experimental class that applied Project-Based Learning and a control class that received Direct Instruction. Research instruments included an observation sheet to measure the implementation of the learning model and a Likert-scale Creative Self-Efficacy questionnaire to assess the dependent variable. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Levene’s homogeneity test, and an independent sample t-test. The results revealed a significant effect of Project-Based Learning on students’ Creative Self-Efficacy, with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. Furthermore, the experimental class achieved a higher mean posttest score (81.03) compared to the control class (75.17). These findings contribute to the development of instructional strategies that foster students’ creative self-confidence through authentic and meaningful project-based learning experiences.

Abstract Currently, there are many research results conducted by researchers in the health sector which actually have tremendous potential if commercialized properly. However, limited knowledge related to the commercialization of health products made in the end many research results did not develop, especially at the Unjani Faculty of Medicine. One of the efforts to overcome this problem, the method used is to conduct online socialization (webinar) regarding business feasibility studies, cost of production and determination of selling prices with the aim of providing understanding to research lecturers in the health sector in order to develop their research results. Through the webinar activity, the results obtained are that there is a fairly good understanding of the webinar participants regarding business feasibility studies, calculating the cost of production and determining selling prices.

This study aims to analyze the influence of conformity on the emotional aspects of Generation Z in determining political choices in local elections. The research involved 40 respondents who are online game players in Gowa Regency, consisting of both male and female participants. The research instrument used questionnaires containing 32 items for the conformity variable and 32 items for the emotional variable. The descriptive analysis showed that the respondents’ conformity level was in the moderate category with a mean score of 37 (SD = 4.03), while their emotional level was also in the moderate category with a mean score of 37.01 (SD = 5.6). Normality and linearity tests confirmed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05) and revealed a significant linear relationship between the two variables (p = 0.02). Simple regression analysis indicated that conformity influenced the emotional aspects of Generation Z by 12.6%, with a regression coefficient of 0.415, suggesting a positive relationship. These findings highlight that the higher the tendency of Generation Z to conform to their group, the stronger the emotional influence in their political decision-making. The results are consistent with social psychology and emotional intelligence theories, which emphasize that social pressure can reinforce individuals’ emotional responses. Therefore, conformity plays a crucial role in understanding the dynamics of Generation Z’s emotional involvement, particularly in the context of political behavior in the digital era.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the information system implemented in the Student Activity Unit (UKM) of the University of Muhammadiyah Parepare in supporting student management and participation. This information system is designed to facilitate access to information, registration, and administration of UKM activities. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to active students registered as UKM members. The variables analyzed include information needs, ease of use, system performance, and user satisfaction. The results showed that the majority of respondents were satisfied with the ease of access to information and use of the system. However, there are several areas that need improvement, especially related to the speed of system access and the system's ability to handle large data loads. In addition, the information provided needs to be clearer and more complete, especially regarding UKM profiles and registration procedures. This study suggests developing a system to improve performance, such as optimizing access time and larger data handling capacity. Improved search and filter features are also needed to improve the efficiency of system use. This study is expected to contribute to the development of UKM information systems in higher education and provide recommendations for system managers on other campuses.

SMEs often face challenges in efficient financial management, particularly in transaction recording and the preparation of accurate financial reports. This study aims to design a financial report application that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial management at UD. Putra Kembar, a building materials trading business. The designed application features tools to record daily transactions and generate automated income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. This research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive and experimental design. The sample consists of 30 respondents directly involved in financial management at UD. Putra Kembar. Data were collected through a questionnaire measuring the benefits of the application, ease of use, and system quality. The results indicate that the financial report application accelerates transaction recording, reduces recording errors, and generates more accurate reports. The majority of respondents found the application easy to use, even without technical backgrounds. Overall, this study contributes significantly to the application of technology in SME financial management, particularly in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use. This application is expected to provide an effective solution for other SMEs to improve their financial management.

Mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression are increasingly experienced by university students, yet access to counseling services remains limited due to social stigma, low mental health literacy, and a shortage of counselors. Restricted service hours and concerns over data confidentiality further reduce the utilization of available services. A similar situation occurs at STMIK Kharisma Makassar, where the counseling unit has not been optimally utilized and its role in supporting students mental health has not been fully effective. This study developed Vikha (Virtual Konseling Kharisma), a WhatsApp-based virtual counseling chatbot designed to provide initial psychological support with empathy. Vikha is powered by OpenAI GPT-4 and applies prompt engineering techniques with four types of prompting: Behavior, Knowledge, Follow-up, and Scheduling. Prototype testing demonstrated that Vikha performed according to its design by delivering empathetic and informative responses. Final evaluation was validated by campus psychologists using scenarios representing common student problems to assess response accuracy, relevance of suggestions, and conversation follow-up. The results confirmed that Vikha is feasible, reliable, and ready to support initial counseling services at STMIK Kharisma Makassar, potentially improving access to and effectiveness of mental health services on campus.

Pelayanan publik merupakan salah satu indikator utama keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pemerintahan yang berorientasi pada kepuasan masyarakat. Dalam konteks administrasi kependudukan, pelayanan pembuatan KTP menjadi salah satu bentuk layanan dasar yang wajib diberikan secara cepat, efektif, dan efisien. Namun, di beberapa daerah, kualitas pelayanan sering kali dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan fasilitas dan sarana pendukung yang tersedia. Berangkat dari fenomena tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana ketersediaan fasilitas berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan pembuatan KTP di Kantor Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas terhadap kualitas pelayanan pembuatan KTP di Kantor Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang, (2) mengetahui tingkat kualitas pelayanan pembuatan KTP di Kantor Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang, dan (3) mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh ketersediaan fasilitas terhadap kualitas pelayanan pembuatan KTP. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat teoretis bagi pengembangan ilmu administrasi publik, khususnya dalam kajian peningkatan pelayanan publik, serta manfaat praktis sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi instansi pemerintah dalam memperbaiki kualitas pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang bertujuan memberikan gambaran objektif mengenai hubungan antara ketersediaan fasilitas dan kualitas pelayanan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 150 pemohon KTP pada periode April–Juni 2025, dengan 60 responden yang dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 10%. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS Statistics.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat ketersediaan fasilitas di Kantor Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan rata-rata persentase 61,87%. Fasilitas seperti ruang tunggu, alat perekam, komputer, dan pendingin ruangan sudah tersedia dan berfungsi dengan baik, meskipun masih ada sarana yang perlu ditingkatkan seperti printer dan peralatan pendukung lainnya. Kualitas pelayanan pembuatan KTP juga tergolong baik, dengan rata-rata persentase 61,9%, terutama pada dimensi assurance (jaminan) dan empathy (empati). Namun, dimensi reliability (ketepatan waktu) masih perlu perbaikan agar pelayanan menjadi lebih efisien. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik, diperoleh nilai F hitung sebesar 88,910 dan t hitung sebesar 9,429 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan. Semakin baik fasilitas yang tersedia, semakin tinggi pula tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan pembuatan KTP. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar pemerintah Kecamatan Curio meningkatkan kualitas fasilitas pelayanan, terutama fasilitas teknologi dan sarana pendukung, serta memberikan pelatihan rutin bagi petugas pelayanan agar mampu memberikan pelayanan yang cepat, tanggap, dan profesional. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan publik di bidang administrasi kependudukan.

Functional foods contain biologically active components and compounds that have physiological effects on the human body, such as promoting health and decreasing the risk of sickness. The swiftlet, which belongs to the Collocalini family, is an insect-eating bird that migrates across the Indian Ocean, Southeast Asia, and northern Australia to the Pacific Ocean. Swiftlet bird's nests (SBN) contain protein, fats, carbohydrates, iron, calcium, phosphorus, inorganic salts, fiber, and water. The objective of this study is to determine the nutritional content of swiftlet bird nests in different regions of West Sumatra. Samples of swiftlet bird's nests (SBN) were collected from Padang City (PD), Bukittinggi City (BK), and Pesisir Selatan Regency (PS). Nutritional content was analyzed using proximate methods, including moisture, protein, and fat, and the nitrite concentration was measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The study found that SBN in West Sumatra contains 47.65–50.55% protein, 1.48–2.47% fat, 21.77–22.77% water, and 24.75–32.72 ppm nitrite. The results indicate that the nutritional content varies among the samples, and the protein content found in SBN is higher, making it suitable for use as a functional food. Additionally, SBN has many health benefits and biological activities, such as mitogenic response and cell growth, enhanced immunity, and improved bone strength.

Maraknya tindak pidana narkotika yang terjadi di masyarakat menimbulkan permasalahan besar karena korbannya tidak hanya orang dewasa akan tetapi juga anak-anak. Tindak pidana narkotika juga terjadi disemua lapisan masyarakat mulai dari kelas ekonomi rendah sampai ke kelas atas baik di kota maupun di desa. Desa Salam Tani Kecamatan Pancur Batu dan Desa Tengan Kecamatan Pancur adalah dua desa yang menjadi mitra dalam pengabdian ini, Di dua desa tersebut permasalahan narkotika merupakan permasalahan yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Banyak faktor pendukung peredaran narkotika diantaranya, wilayah mitra, mata pencaharian masyarakatnya sebagian buruh sawit dan buruh tani, tingkat penghasilan yang rendah menyebabkan anak tidak terpantau hanya tamat SMA dan SMP sertA tidak memiliki kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan pendekatan secara persuasif dan intensif kepada masyarakat, pimpinan pemerintahan desa dan kecamatan, dengan komunikasi ringan dan terstruktur.. Selanjutnya dilakukan pertemuan dalam forum yang formal di balai desanya untuk lebih tegas dan jelas dalam menyampaikan materinya. Penyampaian materi secara ceramah dan tutorial kepada masyarakat guna memberikan pemahaman tentang tindak pidana narkotika dan dampak pengunaannya. Selanjuntya dilakukan diskusi dan wawancara serta mengali permasalahan dan solusi yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat dalam pencegahan tindak pidana narkotika. Akhir pertemuan dilakukan evaluasi dan konsultasi bersamaan dengan pengisian biodata lengkap. Forum diskusi ini juga di hadiri unsur pimpinan desa, kecamatan dan masyarakat, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, orang tua dan remaja. Hasil dari pengabdian adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan hukum masyarakat tentang bentuk tindak pidana narkotika, modus tindak pidana narkotika, kebijakan hukum terhadap anak penyalahgunaan narkotika, serta peran kerjasama komponen masyarakat dalam pencegahan tindak pidana dan dampaknya terhadap anak. Pada akhirnya terciptanya kekuatan peran masyarakat dalam mencegah tindak pidana narkotika di lingkungannya.

The birth of a child is a gift and the happiness of parents. The birth is an important event in population administration. Each child must get clear and correct self identity. Birth certificate is an identity form of a child that needs to do by parents as a protection form for the child. The parentsâ€™ understanding about birth certificate is still lacking especially in partner village. The condition creates an idea to do a law education and accompaniment to make birth certificate with involves the role of village official, provision districts and related agencies. The used method is delivered the material by tutorial lecture to the society by bringing Department of population and civil registration in making birth certificate by involving village official, provision districts and society to find the policy form to protect child with clear and correct self identity. The next stage is accompaniment in making birth certificate and cooperation all materials to the ownership of child as a protection for the children. The result of service shows creating an understanding of partner society in the ownership of birth certificate and the protection form of the child status and the marriage status, and the fulfillment of other requirement in making certificate as the guide book. The result of accompaniment and cooperation in Department of population and civil registration succeed to publish 61 marriage certificate from 67 couples which presents with 2 witnesses when notes in Department of population and civil registration from 123 application marriage certificate submitted. Next form the marriage certificate submitted to publish of birth certificate. The birth certificate which succeeds to be published 107 birth certificate from 162 application birth certificate submitted by society. The failure of submitted certificate because the lack of data, lack of requirement, the discrepancy data, and published the birth certificate.
