Abstract

Kemampuan guru untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang berkualitas membutuhkan peningkatan, update terhadap metode, media maupun teknik pembelajaran adalah bagian dari upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru. Oleh karenanya, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan kepada guru PAI terkait dengan bagaimana langkah peningkatan mutu pembelajaran PAI. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk workshop, secara teknis materi disampaikan oleh narasumber dan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan membuktikan setelah kegiatan peserta memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dalam aspek metode pembelajaran untuk pembelajaran PAI, media yang tepat untuk digunakan serta teknik pembelajaran yang relevan untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang bermutu. Dari hasil kegiatan ini direkomendasikan agar guru selalu melakukan update terhadap informasi-informasi yang terkait dengan tugas profesionalnya.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi terkadang tidak diiringi dengan peningkatan kemampuan sumber daya manusia dalam bidang pendidikan, sementara setiap perkembangan zaman membutuhkan inovasi bagi guru maupun tenaga kependidikan. Oleh karenanya, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan berbagai aspek yang terkait dengan perubahan yang kemungkinan terjadi di era society 5.0 pada dunia pendidikan, terutama guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi yang dimulai dengan kegiatan seminar yang dilanjutkan dengan tanyajawab. Hasil kegiatan membuktikan bahwa melalui kegiatan ini pengetahuan guru dan tenaga kependidikan meningkat terkait dengan kebijakan yang akan diterapkan dalam dunia pendidikan menyongsong era society 5.0, dan yang terpenting adalah semangat menyongsong era society 5.0 di kalangan guru dan tenaga pendidik terlihat sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are identical to traditional learning because they ignore and do not respond to technological developments. This study aims to describe the media used in Islamic boarding schools in teaching Arabic, teachers' perceptions of technology-based media, and opportunities to change the media used in Arabic learning in Islamic boarding schools. This study was conducted with a qualitative approach in Islamic boarding schools where students were selected according to their needs. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on the results, the Batang Kabung Islamic Boarding School used traditional learning media. However, there are open opportunities to apply technology-based media because of the openness of pesantren in accepting changes with an internet connection, human resources for education staff, and students' ability to operate technology-based learning media. The consequences faced by Islamic boarding schools are curriculum revisions, more operational costs, adjustment of methods with learning media, and the need to improve teacher competencies in utilizing technology-based media.

Abstract

The flow of globalization and cultural acculturation on the one hand has an impact on the character of the generation of a nation, therefore local wisdom, participation of community leaders in creating a generation that is able to maintain a good local culture is highly expected. In line with that, this study aims to discuss the shape of the impact of Sumbang on Adolescent Girls, Tungku Tigo Sajarangan's Efforts in Educating Teens Through the Sumbang Duo Baleh Donation Custom, and how effective Tungku Tigo Sajarangan's efforts in Educating Teenagers Morals are through the Duo Baleh Donation Custom. The method used is a qualitative research method, which is also known as Naturalistic research. The primary data sources are ninik mamak, out-of-pocket clever, pious ulama and youth in Nagari Sungai Buluah. While the data collection technique uses observation, interviews and FGD with analytical techniques using interactive qualitative model analysis techniques (Interactive Model of Analysis). The results of the study indicate that the form of the impact of discord on adolescent girls is the fall of their identity as Minangkabau women, Mudarnyo Raso Jo Pareso, the erosion of Minang customary values. The efforts of Tungku Tigo Sajarangan in educating youth morals are carried out in various forms, such as giving warnings and traditional sanctions, conducting socialization in various places and activities, establishing cooperation between institutions, forming youth Wirid activities, holding traditional activities.

Abstract

The ability to write scientific articles and their publications requires continuous training, as part of the functional workforce requires these skills to support future career development. Therefore, this activity aims to provide training to the ruler in West Pasaman Regency in terms of writing and publication of scientific works. The activity is carried out with training, technically the service team provides theoretical explanations and demonstrates the steps of submitating articles to the targeted journal. The result of this activity is that trainees know the types of scientific work, platforms that can help write scientific articles, steps to submit articles in targeted journals.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see how teacher strategies, motivation and student learning outcomes in the hifzil Qur'an subject at MI Muhammadiyah Teluk Kuantan. This study was motivated by symptoms in the field such as low motivation of students to memorize the Koran, rarely depositing their memorization and carrying their daily memorization book. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to see how the teacher's strategy in learning hifzil Qur'an as well as the motivation and learning outcomes of students at MI Muhammadiyah Teluk Kuantan. The results of the research show several things including; MI Muhammadiyah Teluk Kuantan has not implemented the standard strategy used by teachers in learning hifzil Qur'an. The hifzil Qur'an learning strategy that is given to each teacher so that they can adjust and give birth to new innovations in the learning process. The motivation of the next students to follow hifzil Qur'an learning at madrasah was quite good. It is also a scale with learning outcomes dominated by a range of values from 84-92. In fact, most of them also scored above the number 93. Only a few of the students did not complete the hifzil Qur'an learning.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the influence of audio-lingual methods towards the Arabic speaking skills, the method used in this research was quantitative with experimental quasi approach, data collection technique was polling and test. The population of this research was 102 students in the MDTA Bustanul Huda at Padang City, West Sumatera, Indonesia. Data obtained through polls and tests were then analyzed statistically. The analysis used the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. All three types of tests were done with the help of the SPSS Statistics 22 program. The results of the study were: 1) the use of audio-lingual methods was categorized on good classification with an average of 63.33 in intervals 62-64; 2) Speaking Arabic skills was categorized on good classification with an average of 68 in intervals 65-68; and 3) the score of influence with N 30 obtained sig α 0.001 and the score of r Square 0.35. There was a significant influence between the use of audio-lingual methods to the Arabic speaking skill of students at MDTA Bustanul Huda Ulak Karang at Padang City Indonesia in the academic year 2019/2020. The influence of variable X to variable Y because students are accustomed to hearing how to speak Arabic as the native speaker of the Arabic language.

Abstract

Artikel ini memuat tentang hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Program Pascasarjana Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap masalah penelitian tindakan kelas, sehingga dipandang sebagai penghambat dalam pengajuan kenaikan pangkat. Terlaksananya pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru di MIN 1 Pasaman Barat khususnya dalam bidang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Metode Pelaksanaan yang digunakan ialah pelatihan dengan jenis demonstrasi dan contoh, penggunaan metode ini dianggap sesuai dengan target dan objek dampingan. Peserta pelatihan ini terdiri dari semua guru yang ada di MIN 1, pelaksana kegitan ialah dosen dan mahasiswa, dosen sebagai narasumber sementara mahasiswa sebagai fasilitator dan moderator, adapun waktu pelaksanaan ialah selama tiga hari, yakni 9-11 September 2019, bertempat di MIN 1 Pasaman Barat. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pada awal kegiatan belum ada guru yang membuat PTK secara terstruktur sehingga tidak yakin untuk mengajukannya sebagai kelengkapan penilaian angka kredit. Dari hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan diketahui bahwa semua guru bisa memahami secara baik tentang: 1) konsep penelitian tindakan kelas, 2) bisa membuat desain penelitian tindakan kelas, 3) membuat proposal serta laporan penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the patterns of students’ character building and factors that support and inhibit as faced by Islamic Education teachers in State Primary School 16 V Koto Timur District Padang Pariaman Regency. According to the objective, this research utilizes qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources are a school principal, Islamic Education teachers, and Classroom teachers. The researchers use observation, interview, and documentation as the data collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, classification, and presentation and conclusion drawing. It is known that Islamic Education is the students’ character-building effort. The character building pattern is done by integrating PAI (Islamic Education) and using uswah and hikmah method into character Education. In building students’ character, there are supporting and inhibiting factors that include school internal and external factors.

Abstract

Teachers in the TPQ/TQA/MDA programs have a heterogeneous abilities; some have exceptional abilities, while others have insufficient abilities. As a consequence, the aim of this program is to provide debriefing for teachers who want to improve their learning management skills in TPQ/TQA and MDA. Training methods such as lecture and demonstration techniques are used to carry out the program. As a result, at the beginning of the activity there were 24% teachers with a high school education background and did not yet have good skills in the management of Al-Quran learning. However, following the demonstration, their abilities appeared to improve, both in terms of recitation knowledge and makharij al-huruf, as well as class management and learning technique selection.
