Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan permainan lempar bola terhadap peningkatan kemampuan sosial anak usia dini di TK Pembina Kec.Sungai Ambawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 anak kelas B. Instrumen penelitian berupa observasi dan tes kemampuan sosial anak usia dini berdasarkan perkembangan anak. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa sebagian anak masih dalam tahap perkembangan. Setelah diberi perlakuan melalui permainan lempar bola,terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil posttest, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 7,0 menjadi 14,75. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai sebesar -21.177>2.44, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan permainan lempar bola terhadap kemampuan sosial anak. Dengan demikian, penggunaan permainan lempar bola dapat menjadi media yang efektif untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan sosial anak usia dini dan juga permainan lempar bola ini juga dapat menjadi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Ketergantungan manusia terhadap energi menyebabkan terjadinya krisis energi di dunia, Oleh sebab itu perlunya pencegahan dengan melakukan penghematan energi seperti penerapan solar cell yang bersumber dari energi matahari kemudian dikonversi menjadi energi listrik. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini untuk mereview pemanfaatan solar cell sebagai teknologi tepat guna dalam ruang lingkup masyarakat. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur seperti jurnal yang telah diterbitkan sebelumnya. Analisis yang digunakan yakni analisis deskriptif untuk mereview pemanfaatan dan kendala pemakaian energi solar cell di lingkungan masyarakat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan beberapa manfaat dari solar cell Adapun beberapa manfaat dari penerapan solar cell diantaranya pengisi ulang baterai, penerangan jalan umum berbasis tenaga surya, sepeda listrik, mesin pembuatan es berbasis tenaga surya, charger handphone, Pompa air/pompa listrik, sarana penghemat listrik, mesin penggerak perahu. Meskipun dalam pengaplikasian solar cell terdapat beberapa kendala, namun masih dapat diatasi dan dapat terselesaikan.

Abstract

Pengembangan kreativitas anak saat ini merupakan hal yang sangat esensial, ecoprint mungkin ialah salah satu pilihan yang sangat tepat untuk dikenalkan kepada anak guna meningkatkan kreativitas . Ecoprint ini adalah salah satu teknik mewarnai kain  dengan cara mencetak. Kata ecoprint yang memiliki arti kata eco yang merujuk pada arti alam sementara print yang mengacu pada proses mencetak. Dalam pembuatan ecoprint tidak perlu menggunakan mesin  proses yang sederhana dan mudah dilakukan serta ramah lingkungan. Teknik pewarnaan ecoprint memakaian bahan-bahan alami misalnya daun, bunga, dan kulit kayu yang memiliki kandungan pewarna alami. Bahan-bahan tersebut dipergunakan sebagai pengganti cap atau cetakan seperti batik tulis tradisional yang dapat dilakukan dengan bermacam teknik (pounding, steaming dan fermentasi). Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mulai dari  metode persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Tujuan dari pembuatan kerajinan ecoprint adalah untuk meningkatkan  kreativitas dan keterampilan peserta didik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu diharapkan peserta didik sekolah dasar  mampu mengembangkan kreativitasnya dan dampak bagi lingkungan sekitar yaitu pemnfaatan tumbuhan  yang dijadikan sebuah produk yang bernilai ekonomis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the science literacy of fifth grade elementary school students by implementing the project based learning (PjBL) model through the rastik project. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental study, namely conducting treatment activities with the project based learning model through the rastik project. The design of this study uses a pre-test post-test control group design. The subjects of the study were 25 fifth grade elementary school students from SDN Sombo Gucialit as the experimental class and SDN Jeruk 01 as the control class. Data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test in Table 3, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) score is 0.002 <0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) can be rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the average value between the pretest and posttest results. This can be interpreted that the application of the PjBL model through the Rastik project can improve students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the creativity of grade 1 students through SBdP learning based on industrial agriculture with a collage project at Papringan 02 Elementary School in Klakah District. The type of research used is quantitative research. Where the research design uses an experimental research type. This research was conducted at Papringan 02 Elementary School, Papringan Village, Klakah District, Lumajang Regency in the odd semester of the 2023 academic year. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, while the dependent variable is students' ability to make inorganic collages. The data collection procedure involves several methods, including pretest-posttest tests, assignments, and observations. The data analysis technique in this study uses quantitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) score is 0.002 <0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) can be rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the average value between the results of the Pretest and Posttest. The application of learning with collage projects in SBdP learning has a positive influence in improving students' learning creativity at Papringan 02 Elementary School, Klakah District, Lumajang Regency.

Abstract

The population of children with disabilities in Indonesia reaches 1.6 million children, so appropriate learning activities are needed for children with disabilities in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the differentiated strategies teachers use in the learning process, the roles they play in creating an inclusive learning atmosphere, and the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence their effectiveness. This study uses a descriptive, qualitative approach. The research method used to examine natural object conditions involves triangulation (combined), inductive data analysis, and qualitative research results that emphasise meaning rather than generalisation. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity-checking techniques include source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. The study's results indicate that teachers play a central role in creating a learning environment that is fair, adaptable, and responsive to each student's needs. This study found that teachers act as learning designers, adjusting learning materials, processes, and products to students' abilities, interests, and learning profiles, including both regular and special needs students. The implications of this research also highlight the need for closer collaboration among class teachers, special assistant teachers, and parents to identify students' learning needs, thereby making the learning process more meaningful and effective

Abstract

The low gross motor skills of early childhood children are evident in the lack of coordination, balance, and agility in performing daily physical activities. This condition indicates the need to implement effective, engaging learning methods, such as rhythmic gymnastics, to stimulate children's gross motor development optimally. The purpose of this study was to analyse rhythmic gymnastics on the gross motor skills of young children. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. The subjects were teachers and children in group B at an early childhood education institution. Data collection methods were through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that rhythmic gymnastics planning was carried out systematically, with attention to the characteristics of early childhood development, including the selection of songs and movements, and an enjoyable and educational activity flow. Rhythmic gymnastics was implemented regularly and actively involved children through movements in time with the music, helping develop their balance, coordination, flexibility, and muscle strength. Teachers evaluated the activity closely, paying attention to the process and outcomes of children's participation, and this evaluation served as a basis for improving subsequent activities.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to examine the effect of experimental-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students’ scientific writing and presentation skills in a Basic Physics course. Methodology: The study employed a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design involving 73 undergraduate students from the Biology Education program. Participants were divided into an experimental group receiving experimental-based PBL instruction and a control group receiving conventional learning. Data were collected using validated rubrics for scientific writing and scientific presentation skills. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-tests, One-Way ANOVA, and the Mann–Whitney U test. Main Findings: The results show that students in the experimental group achieved significantly higher scientific writing scores (M = 562.97) than those in the control group (M = 518.19), with significant differences across most writing components (p < 0.05). One-Way ANOVA results indicate a very large effect size (Partial Eta Squared = 0.970). In addition, scientific presentation skills were significantly higher in the experimental group across all assessed indicators, including contribution, collaboration, confidence, content mastery, and communication (p = 0.000). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides empirical evidence that experimental-based PBL effectively enhances both scientific writing and presentation skills in an interdisciplinary Basic Physics learning context. The findings highlight the role of inquiry-oriented and experimental learning in strengthening scientific communication skills and offer practical implications for improving scientific literacy in higher education.

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that requires a quick response from first responders to increase the chances of survival. Dasawisma cadres, as part of the community, play an important role in providing first aid, so it is necessary to increase their knowledge through structured health education. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of health education on Basic Life Support in improving the knowledge of Dasawisma cadres. The research method used an intervention design with a sample of 14 Dasawisma cadres in Air Putih Village, Samarinda Ulu District who participated in a series of health education activities in the form of lectures, interactive discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice with teaching aids. Data were collected through pretest and posttest instruments to assess changes in the knowledge of Dasawisma cadres. The results showed a significant increase in the knowledge category from 35.7% before the intervention to 92.9% after the training. This increase indicates that the health education provided was able to improve the cadres' understanding of cardiac arrest recognition and the correct implementation of chest compressions. These findings prove that educational activities accompanied by direct demonstrations are effective in improving cadres' preparedness in handling emergencies. In conclusion, basic life support health education has been proven to significantly improve cadres' knowledge. It is recommended that similar training be conducted periodically and supplemented with practical evaluations so that cadres' skills are maintained and can be applied when emergencies occur in the community.

Abstract

Background This study investigates the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model and students’ critical thinking skills on science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employed an experimental method with a 2×2 factorial design, involving two independent variable learning models (PjBL) and conventional learning) and critical thinking skills (high and low) and one dependent variable, namely science learning outcomes. The participants consisted of 67 fifth-grade students from SDN Pejaten Barat 06, South Jakarta, divided into an experimental group (34 students) and a control group (33 students). Data were collected using science learning outcome tests, critical thinking questionnaires, observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. Instrument validity and reliability were tested prior to data analysis. The data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA and t-tests with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed that the application of the Project-Based Learning model had a significant positive effect on students’ science learning outcomes. The experimental group achieved a higher average posttest score (92.13) compared to the control group (77.39). Students’ critical thinking skills also significantly influenced learning outcomes, with students who demonstrated high critical thinking skills achieving better results than those with lower levels. Furthermore, the analysis revealed a significant interaction between the PjBL model and critical thinking skills on science learning outcomes, indicating that PjBL is more effective when accompanied by the development of students’ critical thinking abilities. In conclusion, the Project-Based Learning model integrated with critical thinking development is effective in improving science learning outcomes, promoting active participation, collaboration, and higher-order thinking skills. This learning model is recommended as an innovative instructional approach to enhance the quality of science learning in elementary schools in accordance with 21st-century educational demands.
