Teori respon butir memiliki banyak kelebihan Ketika digunakan untuk menentukan karateristik butir instrumen jika ukuran sampel yang digunakan besar. Sebaliknya, jika ukuran sampel kecil IRT memiliki kecenderunga kurang akurat dalam menentukan karakteristik suatu instrumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efek ukuran sampel pada GRM yang didasarkan pada data awal yang memiliki korelasi inter item yang sama secara statistik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian simulasi yang didasarkan pada data empiris. Data skunder dari 43 responden digunakan sebagai data awal. Akurasi efek dari ukuran sampel baru dihitung dengan menggunakn RMSE dan koelasi. Teknik membangkitkan data yang digunakan yaitu metode multivariat variabel random diskrit. perangkat lunak R. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai RMSE berkisar 0,6 > 0,33 dan korelasi sekitar 0,5 < 0,7 tidak memenuhi standar akurasi.. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ukuran sampel dengan matriks korelsi yang sama, tidak memiliki efek pada parameter GRM dan data baru yang dihasilkan tidak dapat digunakan untuk pemulihan parameter GRM The effect of sample size on GRM parameters based on the correlation between items Abstract: Item response theory has many advantages in determining the instrument's item characteristics when the sample size used is large. On the other hand, if the sample size is small, the IRT tends to be less accurate in determining an instrument. This study aims to determine the effect of sample size on GRM based on the inter-item correlation matrix of initial data. This research was conducted on simulation research based on empirical data. Secondary data from 43 respondents was used as initial data. The effect accuracy of the new sample size was calculated using RMSE and correlation. The data generation method used was the multivariate method of discrete random variables. The results show that the RMSE value is around 0.6 > 0.33, and the correlation of about 0.5 < 0.7 did not meet the standard of accuracy. It could be concluded that the sample size with the same inter-item correlation matrix has no effect on the GRM parameters, and the new data generated couldn’t be used for GRM parameter recovery.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen penilaian artikel ilmiah yang telah dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Instrument penilaian artikel ilmiah ini dikembangkan berdasarkan literatur dengan indikator organsasi artikel, format penulisan, komponen penting artikel, dan grammatical structure. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Butir dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan formula Aiken’s V. Data validitas isi diperoleh dari sebelas ahli dari berbagai bidang ilmu yang berpengalaman dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah. Hasil validasi ahli ditemukan dari 56 butir yang dibuat dinyatakan valid dengan indeks Aikens V > 0,75, dengan rincian 5 butir memiliki koefisien validitas sedang, dan 51 butir memiliki koefisien yang tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semua butir instrumen memiliki validitas isi yang baik dan layak digunakan. Alhamdulillah, the points of developing scientific journal article assessment instruments are said to be valid by raters Abstract: This study aims to determine the feasibility of the scientific article assessment instrument that has been developed by the researcher. This scientific article assessment instrument was developed based on the literature with indicators of article organization, writing format, important components of the article, and grammatical structure. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The items were analyzed using Aiken's V formula calculations. Content validity data were obtained from eleven experts from various fields of science who are experienced in writing scientific articles. The results of expert validation were found that 56 items made were declared valid with an Aikens V index > 0.75, with details of 5 items having a moderate validity coefficient, and 51 items having a high coefficient. This indicates that all items of the instrument have good content validity and are suitable for use.Â

Literacy is a basic reading skill in modern society. The development of reading literacy questions is needed to be useful as an assessment function. The development of reading literacy questions needs to pay attention to the principle of conformity with indicators and pay attention to the characteristics of the items. A total of 167 fifth grade elementary school students were sampled in the test instrument for the reading literacy test. Instrument testing was carried out in two stages; first, content validity testing by seven experts, secondly analysis of model fit and item difficulty to determine item characteristics. The results showed that based on the results of expert judgment, 17 items were valid and 1 item had moderate validity. Items with moderate validity are S18 items that are classified as evaluating and reflecting type questions at level 6. Further analysis using the Rasch model obtained 2 items in the very easy category, 14 items in the easy category, 1 item in the difficult category and 1 item in the difficult category. very difficult category. With a distribution of difficulty levels, 11% of very easy questions, 78% of easy questions, 6% of difficult questions, and 6% of very difficult questions.

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar adalah pengorgansisasian kelas. Di Indonesia, pembagian ruang kelas sejenis dan campuran banyak dilakukan oleh sekolah-sekolah swasta. Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh kelas sejenis dan campuran terhadap hasil belajar Matematika dan Bahasa Inggris siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain komparasi kausal. Tiga kelas yang terdiri dari 89 siswa (kelas sejenis laki-laki, kelas sejenis perempuan dan kelas campuran) dari sekolah menengah swasta di Indonesia menjadi sampel dengan menggunakn pendekatan convenience sampling. Instrumen tes dikembangkan oleh masing-masing guru mata pelajaran yang terdiri dari 30 soal Matematika dan 50 soal Bahasa Inggris melalui Computer Based Test. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengorganisasian kelas sejenis dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika dan bahasa Inggris berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika dan Bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pemisahan gender di dalam ruang kelas, kela sejenis dan campuran berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Matematika. Sedangkan untuk bahasa Inggris tidak ditemukan kecenderungan tersebut.  The effect of gender segregation on Mathematics and English learning outcomes Abstract: One of the factors that influence learning outcomes is class organization. In Indonesia, private schools mainly carry out the division of similar and mixed classrooms. This study investigates the effect of single-sex and coeducational classes on high school students mathematics and English learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative study using a causal-comparative design. Three classes consisting of 89 students (single male class, single female class, and coeducational class) from private secondary schools in Indonesia were sampled using a convenience sampling approach. Each subject teacher developed a test instrument consisting of 30 Mathematics questions and 50 English questions through a Computer Based Test. This study shows that organizing similar classes in learning Mathematics and English positively and significantly affects achievement in learning Mathematics and English. The study's results revealed that gender segregation in the classroom, same-class, and mixed classes affected mathematics learning outcomes. As for English, there was no such tendency.Â

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan sekolah berdasarkan kemiripan karakteristik dari rapor mutu sekolah. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan studi literatur deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward. pemilihan subjek penelitian ini yaitu semua Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada di Kabupaten Nagan Raya yang berjumlah 16 sekolah dan analisis data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis Cluster Hierarki, di mana terdapat 3 pengelompokan yang terbentuk, kelompok I ada 11 sekolah, kelompok II ada 4 sekolah dan kelompok III ada 1 sekolah. Penulis menggunakan jarak euklidean, serta metode ward. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil dari ketiga pengelompokan, yang memiliki nilai SSE terdekat di antara objek yang lainnya terdapat pada pengelompokan yang kedua dengan nilai SSE sebesar 19,872. Mempunyai kemiripan karakteristik berdasarkan rapor mutu sekolah. Sedangkan nilai yang memiliki SSE yang mempunyai kemiripan karakteristik terjauh di antara objek yang lainnya terdapat pada pengelompokan yang pertama dengan nilai SSE sebesar 52,014. Sekolah Menengah Atas yang tidak memiliki kemiripan satu sama lain adalah SMA Negeri 1 Suka Makmue yang berada jauh dari Sekolah Menengah Atas lainnya. Hal ini diharapkan menjadi acuan bagi Sekolah yang memiliki rapor mutu minimum untuk lebih meningkatkan mutu sekolahnya. Cluster analysis with a hierarchical method for grouping senior high schools based on school quality report cards in Nagan Raya Regency Abstract: This study aims to categorize schools based on similar characteristics of school quality report cards. The research approach used in this research is a quantitative descriptive literature study approach. The selection of the subject of this research is all Senior High Schools in Nagan Raya Regency which amounted to 16 schools. The data analysis of this research uses Hierarchical Cluster analysis, where there are three groupings formed, group I, there are 11 schools, group II, there are four schools and Group III, there is one school. The author uses the Euclidean distance, as well as the ward method. The results of this study show that based on the results of the three groupings, which has the closest SSE value among other objects is in the second grouping with an SSE value of 19.872. Has similar characteristics based on school quality report cards. While the value that has the SSE that has the farthest similarity of characteristics among other objects is in the first grouping with an SSE value of 52.014. The senior high school that has no similarity with each other is SMA Negeri 1 Suka Makmue which is far from other senior high schools. This is expected to be a reference for schools that have a minimum quality report card to improve the quality of their schools further.Â

This study aims to prove the construct validity of the lesson plan assessment instrument in primary schools. In addition, the purpose of this study is to estimate the reliability of lesson plan instruments in primary schools. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach that is carried out on professional teacher education students at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and Universitas Islam Negeri Makassar. The subjects of this study were 516 randomly selected students. Data collection is done through documentation of the results of assessments from the field supervisor of each student. The data analysis technique used is confirmatory factor analysis and composites score reliability. The results showed that the lesson plan assessment instrument was measured by 25 items spread over 4 indicators. All items in the lesson plan assessment instrument indicators are construct valid after being tested through confirmatory factor analysis. In addition, the lesson plan assessment instrument in this study was reliable and had a fairly high construct reliability coefficient of 0.92.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar siswa eks-RSBI dan SDSN di DIY pada mata pelajaran matematika, IPA dan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan studi penelitian komparasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV dan V SD eks-RSBI dan SDSN di DIY. Analisis data menggunakan (1) statistik deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan proses penelitian dan menggambarkan mean dari data yang diperoleh; dan (2) statistik inferensial menggunakan uji multivariat (Manova) dan uji univariat dengan uji t untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa. (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar matematika antara siswa SDSN dan SD Eks-RSBI di DIY, (2) terdapat perbedaan proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar IPA antara siswa SDSN dan SD Eks-RSBI di DIY, (3) terdapat perbedaan proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia antara siswa SDSN dan SD Eks-RSBI di DIY.A COMPARATIVE OF THE LEARNING PROCESS AND ACHIEVEMENT GRADE STUDENTS OF EX-RSBI ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND NATIONAL STANDARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN DIYABSTRACTThis study intends to know the differences in the learning process and learning achievement of the fourth and the fifth grade studentsofex-RSBI elementary schools (SD) and national standard elementary schools (SDSN) in Yogyakarta Special Territory (DIY)in learning mathematics, science, and Indonesian. This study is a comparative study. The population of this study is the fourth and the fifth grade students of the ex RSBI SD and SDSN in DIY. The data were analyzed using (1) descriptive statistics, to describe the process of the research and to describe the mean, median, and standard deviation of the collected data; and (2) inferential statistics by using the multivariate test (Manova) and univariate test using t-test to test the hypothesis with the significance level of 5%. The result shows that. (1) there is no difference in the learning process and achievement in mathematics among the students of SDSN and those of ex-RSBI SD in DIY, (2) there is a difference in the learning process and achievement in science among the students ofSDSN and those of ex-RSBI SD in DIY,(3) there is a difference in the learning process and achievement in Indonesian among the students of SDSN and those of ex-RSBI SD in DIY.Keywords: learning process, learning achievement

Mathematical learning is based on the context of everyday life and is reflected in the evaluation questions given to students. One type of question that is proper for the teacher to use is a word problem. Word problems are more difficult than other models. This type does not present problems with mathematical models directly but with narrative stories that students should understand first. This research was phenomenological research that aimed to find out what difficulties were experienced by students in solving mathematical problems presented narratively. The participants of this study were 121 fifth grade students from five elementary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Student errors were analyzed using the Newman Analysis Method. The Newman Analysis Method grouped students' mistakes into five categories: reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skills, and encoding errors. The results of this study indicate that students have comprehension errors were 44.04%, transformation errors were 40.22%, process skills errors were 57.44%, and encoding errors were 57, 44%. Most errors are in problem number three with the type of reading errors. One of the reasons is the ability of students who are still lacking to understand can cause problems at a later stage.

The development of technology makes learning media have an essential function for the learning process conducted by the teacher to students. However, in reality, there are still many teachers who have not yet implemented the development of learning media to support the learning program. The purpose of this study is to describe the challenges and problems that occur in the development of learning media to improve critical thinking skills and character. This study examines how the challenges of teachers in developing learning media to improve students' critical thinking skills and character. The method was in the form of qualitative data (phenomenology). Data were collected by conducting interviews and observations on nine teachers from 3 public elementary schools in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Based on research, it conducted that students' critical thinking skills and character will increase if the teacher can solve or face challenges in developing existing learning media.

As a neighbouring country whose location is very close, there is a unique fact where the results of the PISA study show very different results between Indonesia and Singapore. Students' perceptions of learning have an important role to detect the quality of learning. Thus, this study aims to determine the factors of student perception of natural science learning and the differences between the two countries based on these factors. The sample in this study were 5870 Indonesian students and 5272 Singaporean students who took the 2015 PISA survey. The research data were the results of the PISA survey (codes ST098, ST100, ST103, and ST104) regarding student perception of natural science learning. The data analysis technique used is Principal Component Analysis to detect factors and Discriminant Analysis to show differences between the two countries. Students' perceptions of science learning in Singapore and Indonesia can be classified into five factors: Practicum, Assistant, Explorative, Counseling, and Collaborative. Based on these factors, there are differences in the perception of the implementation of science learning between Indonesian and Singaporean students. Indonesian students tend to be stronger in defining that science learning is full of exploration, collaboration, and teachers play the role of counselor very well, while Singapore students feel more than practical learning based on science and teachers provide student assistance in dealing with difficulties in the learning process.
