The development of education in the 21st century requires educators and students to be able to improve critical thinking skills. The process of improving critical thinking skills requires a learning model, one of which is through a guided inquiry model. The application of the inquiry model is able to train students to have the ability to think about something new so that they can solve students' own concepts or ideas. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the guided inquiry model on students' critical thinking skills. Data collection techniques were carried out by browsing various articles related to the inquiry model and critical thinking skills through Google, Google Scholar, and Scopus. The search results obtained 35 articles or related journals. Data analysis technique was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner using the help of Microsoft Excel and JASP applications. The results showed that the results of the analysis using the random effect had a significant positive effect or correlation between the guided inquiry model on students' critical thinking skills in science lessons. The results of the egger test and fail safe N analysis show that there is no publication bias in the meta-analytical studies discussed, so that the analyzed meta-analytical studies can be scientifically justified.

Pentingnya evaluasi hasil belajar untuk memberikan gambaran tentang informasi yang diterima oleh individu siswa tentang aktivitas dan kualitas kompetensi yang diperoleh dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menerapkan metodologi penelitian yang bersifat evaluasi dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 286 siswa kelas X MIPA. Evaluasi dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan instrumen 12 butir soal matematika materi fungsi eksponensial dan fungsi logaritma. Bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mendeskripsikan kualitas soal matematika siswa pada materi fungsi eksponensial dan fungsi logaritma memenuhi kriteria atau tidak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan bantuan software QUEST. Data yang dikumpulkan diperiksa menggunakan metodologi Item Response Theory (IRT) Rasch. Analisis dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan software QUEST. Hasil temuan analisis item mengungkapkan bahwa 10 item dengan nilai INFIT MNSQ berkisar antara 0,77 hingga 1,33 sesuai dengan model Rasch, sedangkan 2 item tidak karena nilai INFIT MNSQ berada di luar kisaran. Berdasarkan proyeksi OUTFIT t kurang dari sama dengan 2.00, butir soal dapat digunakan. Item yang memenuhi syarat dapat digunakan karena analisis t OUTFIT mengidentifikasi sepuluh hal yang memenuhi kriteria dan dua item yang tidak memenuhi kriteria. Skor reliabilitas estimasi item adalah 0,97 dan skor reliabilitas estimasi kasus adalah 0,25. The importance of evaluating learning outcomes is to provide an overview of the information received by individual students about the activities and quality of the competencies obtained in learning. This study uses an evaluation research methodology with a quantitative descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Wonogiri. The subjects in this study were 286 students of class X MIPA. Evaluation in this study was carried out using 12 items of mathematical questions on exponential functions and logarithmic functions. Aims to evaluate and describe the quality of students' math problems on exponential functions and logarithmic functions whether they meet the criteria or not. Data collection techniques using the help of QUEST software. The data collected was examined using Rasch's Item Response Theory (IRT) methodology. The analysis was performed using QUEST software. The findings of the item analysis revealed that 10 items with an INFIT MNSQ score ranging from 0.77 to 1.33 were in accordance with the Rasch model, while 2 items were not because the INFIT MNSQ score was out of range. Based on the projection OUTFIT t is less than equal to 2.00, the items can be used. Qualifying items can be used because OUTFIT's t analysis identified ten items that met the criteria and two items that did not meet the criteria. The item estimation reliability score was 0.97 and the case estimation reliability score was 0.25.

This study aims to analyze students' financial literacy abilities in terms of Bugisneese gender differences (oroane, makkunrai, calabai, and calalai) in solving math problems using a survey method of 309 XI graders of public senior high schools in Soppeng Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The data collection techniques were carried out using a financial literacy test and gender diversity questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using ANOVA with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 25 (trial version). The research results showed that there were differences in students' financial literacy abilities, especially between students with an oroane and makkunrai gender tendency. The financial literacy abilities of students who tend to gender with feminine roles (makkunrai and calabai) are better than students who tend to gender with masculine roles (oroane and calalai). These results construct the knowledge that differences in students' financial literacy abilities in terms of solving mathematics problems do not only occur in sex differences (binary gender roles) cases but also involve differences in non-binary gender roles. Therefore, gender role differences need to be considered in integrating learning mathematics with financial literacy.

Based on the study, computational thinking skills are influenced by science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills, and there is a relationship between computational thinking skills and 21st-century skills. However, studies related to STEM attitudes, computational thinking and their impact on 21st-century skills are still very few and limited. The purpose of our study was to examine the impact of STEM attitudes and computational thinking on 21st-century. This research uses a quantitative approach. The participants of this study were students of a vocational school in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (N=290). Research data in STEM attitude, computational thinking, and 21st-century skills using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling techniques using the Smart PLS application. The results of the study obtained several findings, including: the model proposed in this study was valid; STEM attitude has a positive and significant effect on computational thinking; and computational thinking has a positive and significant effect on 21-st century skills. It can be argued that when STEM attitudes and computational thinking are more positive, 21-st century skills will improve. These findings have implications that curriculum development and STEM learning practices have to develop students’ computational thinking skills and 21st-century skills, especially in vocational schools.

Implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif telah banyak dilakukan namun pemilihan jenis model pembelajaran kooperatif masih perlu diinvestigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model-model pembelajaran kooperatif seperti model Group Investigation (GI), Student Team Achievement Division (STAD), dan Jigsaw terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV di SD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak dengan total 75 siswa kelas IV SD. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Instrumen tes disusun dengan indikator variabel berpikir kritis dan kreatif yang diterapkan dalam kajian pembelajaran IPA. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk tes uraian yang telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan Multivariat Analysis Of Variance. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pada keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif secara bermakna mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif secara multivariat. Sementara itu pengujian post hoc dapat disimpulkan bahwa model GI diperoleh sebagai model unggulan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif.

The current EFL curriculum for high schools in Indonesia demands integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in assessment. Therefore, teachers must consider these domains in designing assessment instruments and use them, including in a full-online class. In this type of class, they must choose effective methods with principled eclecticism that meet the assessment principles. This study examines the teachers’ assessment process, from constructing the assessment devices to implementing the test in virtual classrooms. The qualitative research approach was used to explore the online-based assessments involving 16 English teachers recruited through convenience sampling techniques. Accordingly, the data were collected using virtual semi-structured interviews through a WhatsApp call. The data were analysed descriptively through a thematic analysis integrated with an interactive technique to locate and identify common patterns of meaning in a data set. The findings show that teachers used several methods to design their tests in the planning stage, considering several aspects based on the eclectic approach principles for effective assessment practices. However, teachers need more assessment literacy regarding their knowledge of test quality. This research employed qualitative data from a small number of teachers, so future studies that include more teachers from different locations and consider different viewpoints, including those of students, families, and policymakers, on how to evaluate student achievement virtually are recommended.

Abstrak. Indonesia memperoleh peringkat 73 dari 79 negara partisipan PISA di tahun 2018. Dari peringkat tersebut bisa disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik tidak terbiasa dengan soal HOTS. Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendiskripsikan muatan HOTS pada bagian materi, contoh soal, dan soal buku teks matematika SMP kelas VIII (Semester 1 dan 2) edisi revisi tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan membahas konten. Sumber data penelitian yang digunakan adalah buku teks matematika SMP kelas VIII (Semester 1 dan 2) Kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2017 yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan Balitbang Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kandungan HOTS tidak lebih dari setengah dari keseluruhan. Pada bagian materi, muatan HOTS yang terkandung sebesar 19% dengan indikator yang muncul adalah menganalisis (C4) sebesar 16%, mengevaluasi (C5) sebesar 0%, dan mencipta (C6) sebesar 3%. Pada bagian contoh soal, muatan HOTS yang terkandung sebesar 42% dengan indikator yang muncul adalah menganalisis (C4) sebesar 3%, mengevaluasi (C5) sebesar 0%, dan mencipta (C6) sebesar 39%. Sedangkan pada bagian soal, muatan HOTS yang terkandung sebesar 38% dengan indikator yang muncul adalah menganalisis (C4) sebesar 11%, mengevaluasi (C5) sebesar 2%, dan mencipta (C6) sebesar 25%.Kata Kunci: Analisis Konten, Buku Teks, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).

Penggunaan nilai akreditasi sekolah untuk klasifikasi sampel berdasarkan level kemampuan matematika tidaklah memadai, mengingat prestasi belajar siswa tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor akreditasi, tetapi oleh faktor lain yang bersifat internal dan eksternal dari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membandingkan nilai akreditasi dan pengelompokkan nilai rata-rata ujian nasional matematika menggunakan analisis klaster dengan algoritma K-Means dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di Kota Cirebon; (2) mengetahui korelasi antara nilai akreditasi dan hasil klasterisasi; (3) mengetahui kelompok SMP yang memiliki kemampuan matematika level tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan nilai akreditasi sekolah sebagai dasar penarikan sampel kemampuan matematika untuk level tinggi (akreditasi A), level sedang (akreditasi B), dan level rendah (belum terakreditasi) menyebabkan bias pada analisa statistik karena peluang benarnya hanya 31,91%. Uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara nilai akreditasi dan level kemampuan matematika siswa. Kemampuan matematika level tinggi dan sedang didominasi oleh SMP swasta. SMP yang berstatus negeri mayoritasnya berada pada kemampuan matematika level rendah. Hasil klasterisasi dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk penelitian lanjutan yang memerlukan sampel besar seperti pada teori respon butir modern, pembuatan tes diagnosa, pembuatan tes adaptif, dll.

Abstrak. Penilaian diagnostik kognitif berfungsi untuk mengukur struktur pengetahuan teknis siswa dan kemampuan pemrosesan untuk memberikan informasi tentang kekuatan dan kelemahan kognitifnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian model teori respon butir soal tes diagnostik kemampuan matematika dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 200 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa mahasiswa tingkat 1,2,3 dan 4 dari 7 program sarjana Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes materi eksponensial berbentuk multiple-choice sebanyak 12 butir. Data yang diperoleh berupa respon siswa pada instrumen tes yang diberikan. Teknik analisis datanya adalah analisis karakteristik butir berdasarkan teori respons butir (IRT). Analisis uji prasyarat model IRT dengan analisis faktor. Uji asumsi independensi lokal berdasarkan penghitungan korelasi antar item. Sedangkan uji invariansi parameter menggunakan scatter plot. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai korelasi poin biserial butir nomor empat adalah negatif, sehingga butir tersebut tidak digunakan dalam analisis parameter dan kecocokan model. Model teori respons butir yang cocok dengan instrumen tersebut adalah model 3-PL. Tingkat kesukaran item berada dalam rentang  sampai 0,901. Daya pembeda berada dalam rentang  sampai  serta tebakan semu ada di antara 0 sampai . Jika ditinjau dari tingkat kesulitan butir terbukti bahwa keseluruhan butir memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh butir memiliki karakateristik butir yang baik. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran pengujian empiris dalam menentukan kualitas butir instrumen berdasarkan analisis yang tepat sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam mengukur hasil belajar.Kata Kunci: Tes Diagnosa, Teori Respons Butir, Model Logistik Parameter.

Teacher performance assessment is a system designed to determine teachers' capacity to perform their duties by assessing the competence of skills demonstrated in their performance. Analyzing the madrasah teacher' performance assessment in underdeveloped areas of Indonesia is challenging. This study aimed to decipher the experience of assessing the performance of madrasah teachers in underdeveloped regions of Indonesia. It was a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach conducted in Maluku Province. Purposive sampling was used to select samples, including the head of the Islamic Education Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Regency, the madrasah principals, and teachers assessed for their performance. The data was gathered through interviews and analyzed using an interactive model. The findings revealed five significant problems with the madrasah teacher performances in underdeveloped areas: compliance with teacher performance assessment (TPA) guidelines, implementation, natural conditions, costs, and transportation.
