Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of disciplinary character in building student self-regulation learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMAN 2 Palangka Raya. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved 1 PAI teacher, 8 students who met the learning discipline criteria, and supporting informants in the form of BK teachers and student waka in class X-6. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results of the study show that the character of discipline has a fundamental role in building students' self-regulation learning. From observations of learning discipline indicators according to Arikunto, which include attendance, attention during learning, assignment completion, and completeness of learning equipment, 8 students were found who met all learning discipline criteria. These students showed better ability to manage time, monitor the learning process, and evaluate academic achievement independently in accordance with the characteristics of self-regulation learning presented by Yong-Chil. The example of PAI teachers who are consistent in demonstrating disciplined behavior, combined with structured learning strategies such as weekly lesson planning systems, learning reflection journals, and active learning techniques, has proven effective in integrating the three phases of self-regulation learning according to Zimmerman, namely planning, monitoring, and evaluation. However, the study also identified both internal inhibiting factors such as time management difficulties and lack of metacognitive awareness, as well as external factors such as an unconducive learning environment and lack of social support. This study concludes that although the character of discipline plays an important role in building self-regulation learning, the process requires comprehensive support from teachers, families, and the education system to achieve optimal outcomes in PAI learning.

Abstract

This study focused on agricultural products, utilizing the Kansei Engineering methodology to enhance user experience and align with digital marketing strategies. Kansei Engineering is applied to transform users' emotional needs into concrete design elements, creating a website interface that meets both functional and emotional requirements. By emphasizing attributes like engagement, transparency, interactivity, and ease of use, the website aims to provide a personalized, intuitive, and satisfying experience, fostering user connection and loyalty. The results demonstrate that Kansei Engineering significantly enhances emotional satisfaction and functional effectiveness, positively impacting customer engagement and retention—key elements in digital marketing. In this study, the "Refreshing" concept is tested by considering elements such as engagement, dynamism, transparency, interactivity, and ease of use to ensure that the designed interface provides an intuitive, adaptive, and enjoyable user experience. The testing process involves analysis using the Semantic Differential method as well as validity and reliability tests to ensure the accuracy and representativeness of the data obtained. The results show that the application of Kansei Engineering significantly enhances the quality of the e-commerce interface, both in terms of emotional satisfaction and functional effectiveness, resulting in a more holistic user experience. This study offers valuable insights for future e-commerce interface design, suggesting that integrating emotionally responsive design elements can boost the success of digital marketing efforts, especially in the competitive agriculture e-commerce sector.

Abstract

Academic resilience refers to an individual’s ability to endure, recover, and adapt to academic challenges. This qualitative study explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers’ personality competence in fostering students’ academic resilience at SMP Negeri 3 Katingan Hilir. Data were gathered through classroom observations (conducted twice in each of Grades VII, VIII, and IX), in-depth interviews with the school’s PAI teacher (the primary participant), and triangulation with three students and another teacher. Thematic analysis demonstrated that the teacher’s personality traits significantly enhanced students’ confidence, commitment, control, and composure. Specifically, 78% of observed student interactions showed improved self-regulation after teacher-led mentoring sessions. These findings align with Islamic values such as sabr (patience) and tawakkul (trust in God), which students adopted as psychological anchors during academic difficulties. The study identifies two key mechanisms underlying this influence: first, the teacher’s role-modeling of resilient behaviors, and second, faith-based coping strategies that frame challenges as opportunities for spiritual growth. These results suggest the importance of incorporating personality-focused teacher training and Islamic resilience frameworks into pedagogical practices, particularly in Muslim-majority educational settings.

Abstract

Effective learning management plays an important role in improving educational outcomes by enabling students to access and utilize resources effectively. This community service project aims to support teachers at Pesantren Darul Aufa Sei Buluh, Muara Bulian, Batang Hari, in managing learning resources through a digital library system. Although Pesantren already has a library and provides limited access to digital devices for students, structured resource management can significantly enhance their ability to interact with both digital and non-digital learning materials. This mentoring program is carried out using the Asset--Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which leverages the existing strengths within the community to promote sustainable development. This process includes an initial needs assessment, aspiration identification, strategic planning, goal setting, and implementation. Through this initiative, teachers receive guidance on optimizing learning resources, thereby improving student access to quality educational materials and fostering a more effective learning environment.

Abstract

Daun pandan wangi memiliki potensi tinggi untuk digunakan dalam pembuatan bioplastik. Daun pandan mengandung komponen selulosa 30-40% dan lignin 18-22% serta mudah terdegradasi oleh mikroorganisme di dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi tapioka dan minyak sawit terhadap karakteristik bioplastik berbasis daun pandan serta mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara tapioka dan minyak sawit terhadap karakteristik bioplastik berbasis daun pandan wangi. Penelitian ini disusun secara faktorial menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi tapioka dengan kode (T) yang terdiri dari tiga konsentrasi (1%, 1,5%, dan 2%) (b/v). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi minyak sawit dengan kode (M) yang terdiri dari tiga konsentrasi (0%, 0,3% dan 0,6%) (b/v). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap karakteristik bioplastik berbasis daun pandan. Semua karakteristik, kecuali nilai persen pemanjangan dari bioplastik yang dihasilkan sudah memenuhi standar JIS 1975, dapat terdegradasi selama 7 hari dan memiliki ketahanan suhu ruang selama 2 minggu.

Abstract

The production process at Robbani Snack MSME was not free from errors, which led to defective products. These defective products were detrimental because they could not be sold, thus reducing profits. Therefore, quality control was necessary so that the company could identify and correct any damage or deviations in its production, especially for cassava chips and purple sweet potato chips. The purpose of this research was to determine the types and causes of defects and to provide improvement recommendations to address product defects at Robbani Snack MSME. The research that was conducted on the production process of cassava chips found three types of defects, namely burnt defects, crushed defects, and dirty defects, with the largest percentage of defects being crushed defects at 74%. The production process of purple sweet potato chips found three types of defects, namely pitted defects, crushed defects, and dirty defects, with the largest percentage being pitted defects at 82%. The causes and solutions for product defect improvements were identified using the Kaizen method, focusing on five main factors: man, machine, material, methods, and measurement. The recommendations that could be implemented included creating SOP, conducting regular training for employees, replacing manual processes with automated machines, implementing clear raw material standardization with the right varieties, selecting reliable suppliers with guaranteed raw material quality, implementing SOP for the production process, and developing an effective measurement system using accurate tools, as well as collecting feedback from consumers regarding product satisfaction. Keywords: Quality, defects, quality control, seven tools, Kaizen.

Abstract

Phyllanthus niruri (commonly known as meniran) is a medicinal plant that can be processed into herbal tea. However, it is limited by its less desirable sensory qualities, particularly in terms of taste, aroma, and color. This study aimed to investigate the effects of stevia and mint leaf additions, as well as their interaction, on the sensory characteristics of meniran herbal tea. A Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) was applied, consisting of two factors. The first factor was stevia leaf addition at three levels: S0 (0%), S1 (15%), and S2 (30%). The second factor was mint leaf addition at five levels: M0 (0%), M1 (15%), M2 (30%), M3 (45%), and M4 (60%). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by further analysis using orthogonal polynomial and orthogonal contrast tests at a 5% significance level. The results showed that both stevia and mint leaf additions had a highly significant effect on the sensory attributes of the tea. The interaction between these two factors significantly affected the color and overall acceptance, but not the taste and aroma. The best formulation was M4S2, which consisted of 60% mint and 30% stevia. This treatment produced a taste score of 4.25 (not bitter), an aroma score of 4.29 (not characteristically meniran), a color score of 1.29 (yellowish green), and an overall acceptance score of 3.34 (somewhat liked).

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam era digital yang terus berkembang, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi telah menjadi faktor kunci bagi Dinas Sosial dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, aksesibilitas, dan penyediaan layanan kepada masyarakat dalam program-program kesejahteraan sosial. Namun, sebagian besar Dinas Sosial masih sangat mengandalkan prosedur pelaporan manual atau sistem yang tidak terintegrasi dengan baik, yang mengakibatkan ketidakefisienan, ketidakakuratan data, kurangnya transparansi, dan tantangan terkait integrasi data. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, pengabdian kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk pengembangan lanjutan aplikasi website pendataan e-PSKS pada 2 pilar, Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dan Asistensi Sosial Penyandang Disabilitas (ASPD). Pengembangan lanjutan aplikasi e-PSKS diikuti oleh 3 Dosen serta 3 Mahasiswa prodi Sistem Informasi Telkom University Surabaya. Setelah pengembangan aplikasi e-PSKS, diadakan pelatihan dan testing aplikasi yang diikuti oleh 10 peserta mitra perwakilan Dinas Sosial dan Pilar Sosial PKH serta ASPD. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan pemberian kuesioner. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pengembangan aplikasi e-PSKS berhasil memberikan manfaat sesuai kebutuhan Dinas Sosial sebesar 89,5%, serta potensi keberlanjutan pengembangan aplikasi e-PSKS sebesar 92,5%.Abstract: In the ever-evolving digital era, the use of information technology has become a key factor for the Social Service in improving efficiency, accessibility, and service provision to the community in social welfare programs. However, most Sosial Services still rely heavily on manual reporting procedures or systems that are not well integrated, resulting in inefficiency, data inaccuracy, lack of transparency, and challenges related to data integration. With this background, Community Service aims to further develop the e-PSKS data collection website application on 2 pillars, the Family Hope Program (PKH) and Social Assistance for the Disabled (ASPD). The further development of the e-PSKS application was attended by 3 Lecturers and 3 Students of the Information Systems study program at Telkom University Surabaya. After the development of the e-PSKS application, training and application testing was held which was attended by 10 partner participants representing the Social Service and PKH Social Pillars and ASPD. Evaluation wa carried out by means of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The evaluation results showed that the development of the e-PSKS application succeeded in providing benefits according to the needs of the Social Service by 89,5%, and the potential for sustainable development of the e-PSKS application by 92.5%.

Abstract

Tahu bakso merupakan kudapan  populer sebagai kombinasi antara tahu dan bakso. Makanan ini mengandung proten tinggi baik hewani maupun nabati.. Pelatihan pembuatan tahu bakso ditujukan pada remaja putri LKSA Bentang Hati Bandarjaya Lampung Tengah untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan mereka sekaligus menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan dan menciptakan kemandirian hidup yang sekaligus juga dapat meringankan beban biaya panti tempat mereka tinggal. Beberapa permasalahan yang ditemui adalah  1) belum terdapat kegiatan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan, 2) pengetahuan tentang pengolahan tahu bakso belum pernah diperoleh 3) keterbatasan sarana dan fasilitas peralatan yang terdapat di panti tersebut. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini akan dilakukan beberapa kegiatan untuk mengatasi permasalah tersebut yaitu : 1).Mengadakan penyuluhan tentang kewirausahaaan, 2) mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan fozen food berupa tahu bakso mulai dari pemilihan bahan baku, proses hingga pengemasan, 3) memberikan bantuan fasilitas alat yang mendukung kegiatan tersebut.Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa mitra antusias dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini  yang ditunjukkan dari semangat peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, praktek dan mengaplikasikan praktek . Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pengolahan tahu bakso dari nilai rata-rata 50 menjadi 80.  Fasilitas yang diberikan selanjutnya dapat digunakan mitra untuk memulai kegiatan kewirausahaan sehingga mendapat penghasilan tambahan untuk meringankan beban LKSA Bentang Hati.

Abstract

Mata pencaharian masyarakat desa WonodadiPringsewu sebagaian besar sebagai petanisayura. Tanaman cabai merah besar menjadi salah satu komoditas primadonanya. Permasalahanya cabai merah merupakan komoditas yang mudah rusak dan memiliki  harga yang sangat fluktuatif, apalagi saat panen raya harga cabai turun drastis.Solusinya adalah dengan mengolah cabaimenjadi produk yang bernilai jual. KWT di desa Wonodadi Pringsewu merupakan KWT yang melakukan usaha diversifikasi produk cabai. Salah satu olahannya adalah sambal uleg. Namun demikian mitra memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal cara pengolahan, cara pengemasan, cara produksi pangan yang baik dan cara menghitung analisis finasial usahanya.   Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah 1) melakukan penyuluhan  dan pelatihan tentang teknologi tentang pembuatan sambel uleg dan inovasi produknya, 2)penyuluhan tentang cara produksi pangan olahan yang baik, 3) membantu memperbaiki sistem kemasan,  pelabelan  dan pemasaran, 4) penyuluhan tentang analisis finansial usaha. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya KWT yang tangguh dan tanggap dengan perkembangan teknologi dan tuntutan konsumen pada jenis dan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, penerapan teknologi proses pembuatan sambel uleg yang khas sehingga tercapai nilai tambah produk, terwujudnya jejaring pasar yang luas, terbukanya peluang kerja baru serta terciptanya sinergi antara perguruan tinggi dengan dunia usaha. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa mitra sangat antusias dengan kegiatan pengabdian ini ditunjukkan dengan semangat peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan, praktek dan mengaplikasikan praktek. Kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pengolahan sambel uleg dan  cara produksi olahan pangan yang baik dari nilai rata-rata 50 menjadi 80.
