Abstract

Cigarette smoke is the main risk factor of chronic  obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Several studies about COPD has focused on the oxidative stress in lung. Oxidative stress was related to inactivation of antiprotease enzymes, airway epithelial destruction and proinflammatory genes expression. Antioxidant may useful for treatment of COPD. Black seed (Nigela sativa) studies have showed that black seedhas antioxidant activity. The aim of this research  was to prove that black seed crude extract can protect wistar rat lung from oxidative stress which was caused by chroniccigarette smoke exposure. This experimental research used randomizedcomplete design with control group. Thirty wistar strain of Rattus novergicus, 2.5 to 3 months old, 150 – 250 grams ofweight were divided into five groups. First group  was used as negative control group (without any treatment), second group as positive control group (only cigarettesmoke exposure treatment), third group as cigarette smoke exposureand black seed crude extract dose 0.6 gr/kilogram  of body weight/day (group A), cigarette smoke exposure and  black seed crude extract dose 1.2 gr/kilogram of body weight/day (group B) and cigarette smoke exposure and black seed crude extract dose 2.4 gr/kilogram of body weight/day (group C). After 3 months five parameters were measured in this research.

Abstract

Bird species can be identified using bird’s sound. Research about sound bird identification is lacking in Indonesia. This research is initial study to classify bird based on sound and its spectrum. The research was done in Laboratory of Animal Anatomy to record bird sample sound and Laboratory of Computation Physics for data analysis. This research used five recorded sound birds, i.e. Blue-Crowned (Loriculus galgulus), Greater Green (Chloropsis sonnerati), Black-Crested (Pycnonotus melanicterus), Long-Tailed (Lanius schach), and Asian Pied Starling (Sturnus contra). Identification of bird sound spectrum has been done using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method. Bird sounds and spectral that plotted in time-domain and in frequency-domain, were indicated unique pattern lead to bird identification method. The result showed that five birds recorded had different sound characteristics, both in time domain and sound spectrum frequency domain. The sound spectrum identification method can be used as initial step toward bird species classification called sono-taxonomy.

Abstract

AbstractMultiple intelligence is indeed something that is owned by every individual from the level of basic education, the type of intelligence that exists in each individual is indeed very determining their success and success in achieving a goal from which they aspire. what we can see at this time is that the process of learning activities at the elementary school level still shows that the principle of multiple intelligence itself is indeed integrated with one another teaching materials which will always have the capacity to interact with students and also educators, the development of participants students at the elementary school level always continue to develop rapidly which in this case includes spiritual intelligence, social intelligence, intellectual intelligence and individuality intelligence in students who have the principle that the learning process remains in the context of science based on Pancasila principles and religious teachings.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine and analyze the antecedent variables that affect the entrepreneurial interest of the indigenous people of Ternate City and their impact on the realization of the entrepreneurial interest. The method used is quantitative research with the aim of revealing the various phenomena that surround it and at the same time revealing the problems it faces. For this reason, a representative sample who understands the factual conditions will be selected to be used as respondents to explore valid data for analysis. The results of the study show that 1) social norms have an effect on entrepreneurial interest and the direction is positive, meaning that the influence of social norms on entrepreneurial interest is unidirectional, which means that if social norms are good, entrepreneurial interest will be high. And vice versa. 2) ask entrepreneurship to have an influence on the implementation of entrepreneurial interest and the direction is positive indicating that the influence of entrepreneurial interest on the implementation of entrepreneurial interest is unidirectional, meaning that if entrepreneurial interest is high it will cause high entrepreneurial interest implementation and vice versa. While the locus of control variable has no effect on entrepreneurial interest and locus of control and social norms have no effect on the implementation of entrepreneurial interest in the indigenous people of Ternate City. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis variable-variabel anteseden yang mempengaruhi minat wirausaha masyarakat asli Kota Ternate dan dampaknya terhadap realisasi minat wirausaha tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan berbagai fenomena yang melingkupinya dan sekaligus mengungkapkan permasalahan yang dihadapi nya. Untuk iti akan dipilih sampel yang representative yang memahami kondisi factual untuk dijadikan sebagai responden untuk menggali data yang valid untuk dianalisa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa 1) norma sosial berpengaruh terhadap minat wirausaha dan arahnya adalah positif artinya bahwa pengaruh norma sosial terhadap minat wirausaha adalah searah yang artinya adalah bahwa jika norma sosial itu baik maka minat wirausaha akan tinggi. Demikian juga sebaliknya. 2) minta wirausaha memiliki pengaruh terhadap implementasi minat wira usaha dan arahnya adalah positif menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh minat wirausaha terhadap implementasi minat wirausa adalah searah, artinya jika minat wira usaha tinggi maka akan menyebabkan implementasi minat wirausaha akan tinggi dan demikian juga sebaliknya. Sementara variabel locus of control tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat wirausaha dan locus of control serta norma sosial tidak berpengaruh terhadap implementasi minat wirausaha terhadap masyarakat asli Kota Ternate.  Keywords: Interests, Entrepreneurs, Indigenous People.

Abstract

Potensi pengembangan budidaya rumput laut di Jeneponto seluas 2.387,15 Ha yang tersebar pada tujuh wilayah kecamatan pesisir dengan produksi budidaya rumput laut tahun 2016 sebesar 17.044 ton kering, Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di kawasan pesisir Teluk Laikang Kabupaten Jeneponto. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui produktivitas Budidaya Perikanan dan Perikanan Tangkap Masyarakat Sekitar Teluk Laikang Kabupaten Jeneponto Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah gabungan antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mixed method) dan jenis penelitian yang dipilih adalah studi kasus yang mengutamakan kualitas data.  Tahap analisis data dilakukan untuk tujuan perumusan konsep dasar dan analisis data. Pekerjaan analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah mengatur, mengurutkan, mengelompokkan, memberi kode dan mengkatagorikan. Pengorganisasian tersebut dilakukan dengan tujuan menemukan tema penelitian guna diangkat menjadi teori substantif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengkombinasikan analisis dari data yang bersifat kualitatif dan kuantitatif baik dalam bentuk tabel dan hasil tabulasi data maupun dari hasil professional judgement dan analisis kepakaran Langkah yang dipergunakan untuk penelitian kualitatif disaat yang bersamaan juga digunakan pada penelitian kuantitatif. Dari berbagai kegiatan survey di Kawasan Pesisir Teluk Laikang tahun 2021 dan data perikanan dari Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Kabupaten Jeneponto, ditemukan 45 spesies ikan, yang terbagi atas Ikan Pelagis Kecil, Ikan Pelagis Besar, Ikan Demensial, Ikan Karang dan Sumber Daya Udang Penaeid dan Lobster. Dari sejumlah hasil tangkapan ikan dan pengamatan di tahun 2021, Adapun Potensi sumber daya kelautan dan perikanan, antara lain (1) Sumber daya hayati, meliputi berbagai hasil perikanan laut, ekosistem mangrove, terumbu karang dan rumput laut (berpotensi untuk dilakukan pengembangan) serta beragam jenis biota laut lainnya; (2) Sumber daya non hayati, berupa pasir laut. (3) Jasa - jasa lingkungan (environmental services) seperti media transportasi dan komunikasi, serta energi  laut. The potential for the development of seaweed cultivation in Jeneponto is 2,387.15 hectares spread over seven coastal sub-districts, with seaweed cultivation production in 2016 of 17,044 dry tons. This research will be carried out in the coastal area of Laikang Bay, Jeneponto Regency. This study aimed to determine the productivity of Aquaculture and Capture Fisheries of Communities Around Laikang Bay, Jeneponto Regency. The research approach used was a combination of qualitative and quantitative (mixed methods), and the type of research selected was a case study that prioritized data quality. The data analysis phase was carried out to formulate basic concepts and data analysis. The work of data analysis in this research is to organize, sort, classify, code and categorize. The organization is carried out to find a research theme to be appointed as a substantive theory. Data analysis is carried out by combining qualitative and quantitative data in the form of tables and data tabulation results and the results of professional assessments and expert analysis. The steps used for qualitative research are at the same time also used in quantitative research. From various survey activities in the Laikang Bay Coastal Area in 2021 and fishery data from the Fisheries and Marine Service of Jeneponto Regency, 45 species of fish were found, which were divided into Small Pelagic Fish, Large Pelagic Fish, Dental Fish, Coral Fish and Penaeid Shrimp and Lobster Resources.  From many fish catches and observations in 2021, the potential for marine and fishery resources include (1) Biological resources, including various marine fishery products, mangrove ecosystems, coral reefs and seaweed (potential for development) and various other types of marine biota; (2) Non-biological resources, in the form of sea sand. (3) Environmental services such as transportation and communication media and marine energy.

Abstract

Teknologi unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) berkembang pesat saat ini untuk berbagai kebutuhan, termasuk dalam bidang pertanian. Salah satu pemanfaatan UAV dalam bidang pertanian yaitu untuk mengamati tingkat kesuburan tanaman padi (Oryza sativa L). UAV mampu menerbangkan berbagai jenis kamera dan sensor, salah satunya adalah sensor normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) mapir survey 3. Sensor NDVI ini menghasilkan nilai multispektral yang digunakan untuk menghitung selisih indeks vegetasi yang ternormalisasi. Nilai indeks vegetasi tersebut mencerminkan tingkat kesuburan tanaman padi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat kesuburan tanaman padi secara cepat dengan menggunakan metode unsupervised dan memperoleh luas lahan masing-masing indeks vegetasi yang telah dikelaskan.  Tahapan awal penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengambilan data NDVI dengan menggunakan UAV yang telah terpasang sensor NDVI. Hasil foto udara tersebut digabungkan dengan proses  mozaik citra dan klasifikasi kelas hasil analisis NDVI. Tahap akhir adalah melakukan klasifikasi hasil analisis NDVI untuk menghitung luasan daerah atau lahan masing-masing kelas NDVI. Hasil klasifikasi unsupervised menunjukkan 4 indeks kelas yaitu kelas indeks non vegetasi dengan nilai NDVI yaitu –0,51 hingga –1 dan luas lahan 1,462845 Ha, kelas vegetasi rendah dengan nilai NDVI yaitu –0,5 hingga –0,01 dan luas lahan 3,412978 Ha, kelas vegetasi sedang dengan nilai NDVI 0,01 hingga 0,49 memiliki luas lahan 4,589696 Ha dan kelas vegetasi tinggi dengan nilai NDVI 0,51 hingga 1 memiliki luas lahan 5,744039 Ha.

Abstract

The objective is to analyse temperature changes and their future projection in Aceh. The activities consist of collecting past and future temperature data, preparing materials for processing, and analyzing past and future temperature data (climate change projections). The data used are monthly average temperature data from data global climate model, e.g., csiromk3.6-hist-1986-2005-tas, csiromk3.6-rcp45- 2016-2035-tas, csiromk3.6-rcp45-2046-2065-tas, csiromk3.6-rcp45-2081-2100- tas, csiromk3.6-rcp85-2016-2035-tas, csiromk3.6-rcp85-2046-2065-tas, and csiromk3.6-rcp85-2081-2100-tas. The study began with reading climate data in NetCDF format using GRADS software, data processing using CDO software, providing a coordinate system using QGIS software, making climate change projection maps using ArcGIS software, and making climate change graphs using spreadsheet programs. Two scenarios, i.e., RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 are used to analyse the projected temperature changes in the short-term (2016 – 2035), medium-term (2046-2065), and long-term (2081-2100). The results show that the RCP4.5 projection shows a lower change in temperature rise than the RCP 8.5. A change in a temperature rise of up to 5°C was found in the RCP8.5 scenario.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational climate on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were Ternate City Public Works (PU) employees. The number of research samples is 91 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study was SEM analysis using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) version 4 as a statistical test tool.The results of this study indicate that: (1) Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (3) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on performance (4) organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on performance; (5) satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance (6) job satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of organizational culture on performance; (7) Job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of organizational climate on performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine : Influence Employee Engagement and Job Satisfaction To Organizational Citizenship Behavior is mediated by Intention To Stay . Population study is all over Malut Post Ternate City employee amount 47 respondents and use saturated sampling technique so that amount sample as much 47 respondents . Type of data used is quantitative data and the data sources used is primary data with data collection via questionnaire . Deep data analysis models study This use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares ( SmartPLS ) version 4.0 . Research result This show that : (1) employee engagement influential significant to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) ; (2) Job Satisfaction influential significant on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) ; (3) employee engagement has no effect significant towards Intention To Stay ; (4) Job Satisfaction influential significant to Intention To Stay ; (5) intention to stay has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior ; (6) ) employee engagement does not mediate intention to stay on OCB ; (7) job satisfaction does not mediate intention to stay on OCB.

Abstract

PDAM XYZ is one of the Regional Owned Enterprises that is engaged in drinking water services, this of course consumers need employees who have the ability to communicate, honesty, cooperation, be alert in doing their jobs and accompanied by a work discipline attitude so that their performance becomes optimal. The company experienced several employee problems, namely employee discipline and performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method, namely by comparing facts and theories. the results of the research conducted, the direction of the regression coefficient of the work discipline variable affecting employee performance is 0.616 with a positive direction assuming other variables are constant. It can be concluded that the significance level of 5% work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and based on the results of hypothesis testing regarding performance employees, the results obtained that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance at PDAM XYZ.
