Abstract

The competitive job market requires enhancing the effectiveness of education in vocational high schools. In the Industrial Electronics Engineering program at SMK Negeri 1 Karawang, some students have low comprehension skills alongside very low motivation to learn. This research seeks to assess the impact of the Leaderless Group Discussion technique on improving students' learning results and engagement. The study was designed as a pre-experimental investigation incorporating a quantitative methodology, featuring a single group that underwent both a pretest and a posttest. Initially, questionnaires were distributed to pinpoint learning challenges, followed by the execution of a pretest, the application of case-based leaderless group discussions, and finally a posttest. Findings indicated an improvement in the average score from 6. 61 to 7. 69, along with an increase in the median score from 7 to 8. Beyond academic gains, there were notable improvements in student engagement, team collaboration abilities, and comprehension of previously challenging technical subjects. Participants expressed favorable experiences resulting from this initiative, particularly enjoying a more interactive and cooperative learning environment. The results of this effort include a research document, a scholarly article, and the possibility of wider application of this approach in vocational education. Consequently, the Leaderless Group Discussion method has been demonstrated to be an effective solution for tackling issues in contemporary vocational training.

Abstract

A transfer deed made before a notary is a guarantee of rights to shares. There are still many problems with transfer deeds being submitted to the court by the heirs of the share giver when the transfer is carried out without the knowledge of the other heirs. This is detrimental to the rights the heirs should receive. The validity of a conservation deed that is not guided by applicable regulations can result in the conservation deed becoming invalid. This research method is normative using a statutory and regulatory approach and a contextual approach. The results of the research in this study are that a transition is an agreement that must be guided by Article 1320 of the Civil Code regarding the conditions for the validity of an agreement, a transition in the case of not fulfilling all the elements of the agreement including agreement, skills, a certain thing and a lawful cause. This results in the deed of transfer being invalid. People who are no longer competent to carry out legal actions need forgiveness from their biological children and the purpose of all heirs because biological children also have rights to the object of preserving shares. The notary who makes the deed of transfer can be held responsible for his negligence which results in losses for heirs based on Article 1365 of the Civil Code. Responsibilities imposed on maintenance include professional responsibility, civil responsibility and administrative responsibility.

Abstract

This article critically examines the Decision of the Sleman Religious Court Number 256/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Smn which granted the wife's divorce suit with the order of talaksatu baʾin sughra. The focus of the study includes the legitimacy of the reasons for divorce, the relevance of evidence, the application of civil procedural law (verstek), and its implications for the protection of the rights of Muslim women in Indonesia. The methodology used is normative-sociological legal research with a statutory approach, decisions, and fiqh literature. The results show: (1) the arguments of continuous disputes, non-maintenance, and desertion fulfill Article 19 letter (f) of PP9/1975 in conjunction with Article 116 letter (f) of the KHI; (2) the combination of written evidence and two consistent witnesses strengthens the basis for justifying the lawsuit; (3) the verstek mechanism still guarantees due process as long as the summons is valid; (4) This decision provides a positive precedent for wives affected by unfair power relations in the household. Recommendations are submitted for the Supreme Court to strengthen technical guidelines on proof of desertion and for related ministries to increase gender equality-based family law literacy.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of visual disruption in the MS Glow for Men advertising campaign featuring Babe Cabita and Marshel Widianto as the main figures. This visual approach is understood as a reversal of conventional aesthetic norms in male skincare advertisements, which typically showcase idealized figures with fair skin, athletic bodies, and traditionally masculine appearances. Employing Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis and Stuart Hall’s theory of representation, the study examines the visual text across three levels: textual analysis, discursive practice, and socio-cultural practice. The results indicate that MS Glow adopts visual disruption not merely as an aesthetic choice, but as an ideological effort to construct a new, more inclusive representation of masculinity. The use of comedic public figures who deviate from standard beauty norms becomes a powerful tool to create emotional connection, digital virality, and participatory discourse. This visual strategy reflects a conscious branding tactic aligned with social transformation and the dynamics of digital media culture. The study contributes to expanding visual communication studies, gender representation, and branding practices in contemporary digital and creative industries

Abstract

Pharmaceutical services include drug dispensing activities, including drug compounding. Drug compounding is the process of mixing or changing ingredients to produce drugs that suit patient needs. Unmonitored storage conditions for compounded drugs in the community can affect the evaluation of the physical, chemical, and microbial contamination stability. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of storage temperature on the results of the evaluation of microbial contamination in compounding syrup pharmaceuticals, so it can provide education to the public about the storage patterns that have been carried out so far. Evaluation of microbial contamination in this study included contamination of the Total Yeast and  Mold Count (TYMC) and Total Plate Count (TPC). The objective of this study was a mixture of Erdostein syrup and cetirizine tablets. The research materials used for the microbial contamination test were mineral water, sterile water, Plate Count Agar (PCA) media, and Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA). The results of the study in the form of TYMC and TPC on day 0 were 0 cfu/mL. After 7 days of storage, microorganisms, namely TYMC, grew at room temperature (<30°C) 4.98x102 cfu/mL and cold temperature (2-8°C) 2.2x102 cfu/mL. The TPC results at room temperature storage (<30°C) were 8.33x102 cfu/mL and at cold temperatures (2-8°C) were 3.67x102 cfu/mL ...

Abstract

PT XYZ is a coffee processing company with a production process involving five stages: sorting, drying, peeling, selecting, and packaging coffee beans. This study applies the Total Quality Control (TQC) approach to identify factors causing product defects. Methods include p-control charts to monitor quality variations statistically and fishbone diagrams to analyze root causes. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and company documents. The analysis revealed seven data points exceeding the upper control limit (UCL) and 11 below the lower control limit (LCL). Human errors, inadequate training, and machine-related issues were identified as the primary causes of defects. Environmental factors, such as inconsistent humidity levels, were also found to affect product quality. The findings provide actionable insights for PT XYZ to implement Kaizen-based improvements, focusing on minimizing defects, enhancing production quality, and maintaining product consistency. These measures are expected to support the company in achieving better control over quality processes and ensuring the stability of its coffee product standards.
