Abstract

This research discusses the evaluation of the character guidance program at SDN 3 Bojongmenteng. The aim of this research is to determine the quality and effectiveness of character guidance programs in schools. The research used was descriptive qualitative techniques. Based on the results of research that has been carried out regarding the implementation of the evaluation of the character guidance program for SDN 3 Bojongmenteng students using interview techniques as a whole, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the character guidance program is in the good category. With these good results, class teachers at SDN 3 Bojongmenteng must remain consistent in correcting existing deficiencies so that the results obtained can be maximized and in line with what is expected.

Abstract

Abstract

Naturally, a mother hen incubates her eggs until they hatch completely. However, the success rate of natural hatching is low, and hatching can be completed with a maximum of 10 eggs. Chicken farming, more specifically the chicken egg hatching system, breeders usually use an incubator for the process of hatching chicken eggs. In the incubator, there is a lamp that has been provided which is used for the process of warming the eggs so that the eggs can hatch properly and of good quality with incandescent lamps. In general, the process of hatching eggs often encounters problems or obstacles. The obstacle that is often experienced when hatching chicken eggs is that the incubator only uses incandescent lights. Therefore, to avoid this problem, a microcontroller was designed to overcome this problem. This tool is a combination of a microcontroller with an Arduino-based temperature and humidity sensor. With this tool, after the eggs hatch, when the lights are off, the sensor can read the output in the form of the incubator temperature, which is detected by the Arduino serial display. Design methods and experimental methods were used in this research. Tool testing is divided into three types, namely temperature testing, humidity testing and egg load testing. Abstract

Hypertension can cause the risk of damage to the cardiovascular, brain and kidneys, causing complications from several diseases, such as stroke, myocardial infarction, kidney failure and heart failure. Family support and compliance in hypertensive patients have a very strong correlation and have a positive direction. Self-management is thought to have caused a large increase in cases of non-communicable diseases in Indonesia, including hypertension. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between family support and self-management with medication adherence for hypertensive patients at the Imelda Workers Indonesia Hospital in 2022. This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional approach. The research was carried out at the Imelda Indonesian Workers Hospital in Medan in June-July 2022. The study population was 64 hypertensive patients. The research sample used total sampling so the total sample was 64 people. Bivariate analysis used the Chi Square Test assisted by SPSS 22 software. Research results: The majority of family support for hypertensive patients was in the moderate category (45-60) with 30 people (46.9%). Family support was in the moderate category (45-60) with non-compliance with taking medication (8-11) in 16 hypertensive patients with a P.Value of 0.762>0.05, meaning that there was no relationship between family support and compliance with taking medication in hypertensive patients. The majority of self-management in hypertensive patients is in the sufficient self-management category (45-60) as many as 37 people (57.8%). Self Management was sufficient (45-60) with non-compliance with taking medication (8-11) in 19 hypertensive patients with a P.Value of 0.107>0.05, meaning that there was no relationship between Self Management and compliance with taking medication in hypertensive patients.

Abstract

Wabah virus corona atau covid-19 sangat cepat melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia sehingga pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan memutus mata rantai dengan diberlakukannya physical distancing yaitu mengharuskan bekerja dirumah atau yang disebut Work For Home (WFH), WFH ini sangat berdampak khususnya kepada ibu yang bekerja dimana ibu yang bekerja harus bisa membagi waktu dari segi pekerjaan maupun mengurus rumah tangga termasuk juga dalam memberikan pola asuh pada anak khususnya anak usia dini karena masa ini merupakan masa golden age dimana anak mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sangat pesat dan tidak tergantikan pada masa mendatang sehingga dampak dari pola asuh ibu berpengaruh terhadap tingkah laku anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pola asuh ibu bekerja saat pandemi covid-19 terhadap tingkah laku lekat (Attachment Behavior). Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan desain Deskriptif Analitik, waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai Juni 2021 dengan jumlah sampel 50 orang ibu yang mempunyai anak usia dini 5-6 tahun. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan  adanya dampak yang signifikan antara pola asuh ibu bekerja pada saat pandemi covid-19 dengan tingkah laku lekat (attachment behavior) anak usia dini (p<0,05).

Abstract

Many series of skincare products are offered and sold offline and online. The large number of products that are popping up makes competition in the skincare product market even tighter. So there are many ways that sellers/shops use e-commerce such as Shopee to attract consumers to buy products, such as Whitelab. Apart from hoping for positive reviews, Whitelab also uses Brand Ambassadors for each product. The sampling technique in this research is nonprobability sampling. The sampling technique used in this research is the Accidental Sampling Technique. using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of this research, it is known that Online Customer Reviews do not have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, and Brand Ambassadors have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions. Apart from that, simultaneously (F Test) it is known that Online Customer Reviews and Brand Ambassadors simultaneously or together have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. The Adjusted R value for the Determinant Coefficient is 0.248 or 24.8%, while the remaining 75.2% is influenced by other variables that are not in this research such as: price, brand image, brand image, brand experience, and product quality. This research obtained 100 respondents, of which 50 were USU students, and 50 were Medan State Polytechnic students, with gender 23 men and 77 women, and an age range of 18 to 25 years.

Abstract

A common problem in children's character education is how parents can communicate well, both with themselves and with their children in the digital era. Social media and technology often change the way families communicate, making it difficult for parents to engage in personal reflection and in-depth dialogue. In a digital environment that is fast and full of distractions, parents may find it difficult to implement consistent and effective communication techniques for their child's character development. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was obtained from books, journals and proceedings via Google Scholar, and analyzed comprehensively to be presented in the form of scientific articles. The focus of this research is how interpersonal communication between parents and generation Z can be optimized for character education. The main finding of this research is that parents' interpersonal communication plays a very important role in optimizing the character education of Generation Z through various key strategies. First, by being a role model and providing concrete examples of values such as integrity and responsibility, parents can motivate children to imitate the positive behavior they observe. Second, open discussion and dialogue allow children to develop critical thinking skills and understand character values through a constructive exchange of ideas. Third, positive reinforcement and constructive feedback, such as praise and recognition, motivate children to continue to behave in accordance with the character values taught. Fourth, through interactions with educators and peers, children learn the importance of respecting others, working together, and contributing positively to their communities, as well as values such as empathy, justice, and social responsibility. Apart from that, it is important to apply several communication techniques, such as active listening and providing emotional support to build trust and strengthen relationships; the use of clear body language and assertive communication helps avoid miscommunication and ensures messages are conveyed well;, providing constructive feedback and asking open questions facilitates a child's understanding and growth; convey empathy and apply self-disclosure techniques, where parents share personal experiences, building openness and closeness. By integrating all of these techniques, parents can create communication that supports children's character development and well-being in a holistic and sustainable manner, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance to grow into quality individuals.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based information system that supports the sale of agricultural products in Kampung Bewang. Until now, agricultural product marketing has often been carried out conventionally, limiting market reach and reducing farmers' potential profits. The system is designed to facilitate product management, order tracking, and online payment integration, while also providing a user-friendly interface. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance market accessibility for farmers, expand sales reach, and improve transaction efficiency. Additionally, this system will enable farmers to reduce their reliance on intermediaries, thereby increasing their overall profit.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Based on the formulation, the problem regarding students' low understanding of changes in energy forms, then prompted the author to conduct research on how teachers' efforts to improve student learning outcomes about learning science in elementary school students. In this study the authors used the cooperative learning strategy. In this research methodology, the authors used Classroom Action Research with an observational flow to determine the extent to which students understood interest in reading in Indonesian lessons, especially about increasing interest in reading. To find out that everything the author does is implementing classroom learning, which consists of four stages, namely Planning (Action Planning), Acting (Implementation of Actions), Observing (Observation), and Reflecting (assessment/Evaluation stage). And the results of observations made by the teacher are good. Because most of the components that have been determined in the implementation of learning have been carried out properly. Research Results, From good learning outcomes, good results will also be obtained. The results of the research show that science learning through cooperative learning has increased. This can be seen through the first cycle/meeting I, students studying through only achieve an average value of 75.45. In cycle II there is an increase in students learning through through with an average score of 90.90. The average student activity in terms of seriousness and activeness in carrying out the tasks given by the teacher in cycle I was in the Good category and cycle II was in the very good category. Time This research was conducted from July 2023 to September 2023, a total of 22 students at SDN I Sankanwangi, Lebak Regency. Abstract

ABSTRACT Dion Dista, Improving Descriptive Essay Writing Skills Using Picture Media in Indonesian Class IV Subject at SDN 2 Sangkanwangi Lebak Banten. Thesis, Undergraduate Study Program in Elementary School Teacher Education, Syekh Manshur College of Teacher Training and Education 2021. This study aims to improve the process of learning to write Deskirpitf essays by using image media for fourth grade students at SDN 2 Sangkanwangi. This type of research is classroom action research. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SDN 2 Sangkanwangi for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 27 students. Retrieval of data using observation, tests, and interviews. The data collection tools used were observation sheets, test sheets, and interview guides. Analysis of research data using a mixture. The results showed that the process of learning to write descriptive essays has increased. This can be increased in a way; the teacher provides apperception and motivation, gives explanations to students about descriptive essays, shows media images, explores students' prior knowledge by asking and answering questions related to pictures, explains pictures, provides guidance to students, and provides an evaluation of writing descriptive essays. This increase can be seen from the seriousness of students in learning to write descriptive essays, enthusiasm in expressing their ideas, high enthusiasm/interest in writing descriptive essays, actively participating in discussions, feeling motivated, interested and competing with each other in writing descriptive essays. Descriptive essay writing skills also showed improvement. This can be increased in a way; Students observe pictures, explore their prior knowledge of pictures, write words that match the pictures and develop their ideas into descriptive essays as a whole by paying attention to the elements of the essay. The improvement in the skills of writing descriptive essays can be seen from the students' average scores increasing from the initial condition with the sufficient category (58.08) to the sufficient category (66.87) in cycle I and in cycle II to (80.02) the good category.
